2023-07-14 06:05:41Service was very fast - we had our food in under 5 minutes. We ordered the saucy Asian bowl and the bibimbap. The bibimbap I thought was pretty good, but the saucy Asian bowl had an overwhelming smokey flavor to it. Still, everything was pretty good overall. Also, the portions were large! You wont be hungry afterwards.

2023-06-25 23:08:00Service: The worker was a bit short with us but did offer to give us an extra popsicle since the one we wanted was out of stock after we paid.Atmosphere: The place is small and cute and clean. The door is left open so people come and go and you can definitely people watch if you’re into that.Food: The katsu was honestly all breading and no meat. It was so thin that it felt like I was just eating crisp with nothing else. While I liked the crisp, I would’ve enjoyed some juicy pork meat inside as well. The sauce was good and the rice was good as well. My friend got the bibimbap and she would give it a 7.5/10. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing, the spicy pork in it was really good though! The watermelon popsicle was very cute but taste wise was mid. The shark popsicle was fire and I would definitely get that one again.

2022-03-30 03:48:04We got take out and had to wait longer then the estimated pickup time since there were a lot of people ordering at the same time as us (around noon). We got the Tonkatsu bowl, chicken wings, and ddeokbokki. Everything we got was really good! Sadly, our tongue could not take the heat on the ddeokbokki...if it were not for that, I think my boyfriend and I would have gobbled everything quickly!

2023-09-01 03:29:13You gotta try the Seoul Cheesesteak! Out of this world. Connie on the tills was sweet and kind and Willie the cook put his damn foot in that steak!! I had to save half and take it home to savour it! I am looking forward to the second half:-D

2023-09-25 02:46:30Ive never had bad potstickers before, but the beef potstickers were an off flavor and I couldnt eat them. The saucy poke bowl was also really mediocre. I chose to get dinner elsewhere after trying both.

2023-10-15 17:49:44I also recommend the Kimchi quesadilla + shiitake mushroom. Ive been a customer since 2018. Im excited whenever they add a new dish on the menu, I hope they will consider kimbap

2019-07-13 05:48:57For the price, the Saucy Asian is excellent, but the wait and operational organization is a disaster. It seems like they have way too many to-go orders and they dont prioritize people who dine-in. What it comes down to, if they would get a couple of more people in the kitchen they would probably be able to hand all the orders they get.For the food, its excellent. I would definitely come back but be prepared, it could be like getting burger from In-n-Out.

2020-02-18 20:35:22Decent place to go. Small restaurant with good food. Variety of vegetarian options. We’re vegetarian and we mostly look for vegetarian food. Here the taste was good. Bowl size was quite big, to finish in one go. Decent place for a quick food. Overall it was a good place to go. They have tried to be little more creative with maxican bowls and give it an asian punch.

2019-03-19 20:17:49Saucy Asian is a nice, unexpected corner café in the Castro District/ Mission Dolores area. While it’s unfortunately not fully plant-based/vegan, the staff is quite knowledgeable about allergens and instead of simply removing items which do not fit the plant based/vegan or gluten-free criteria, they have substitutes which do not remove flavor and allow for a well-rounded flavorful meal. The vibe is reminiscent of beachside cafès in Mumbai.

2017-12-16 03:17:50Delicious! Theres not a lot of good Korean food in the Mission. This hits the spot. Go for the Saucy Bowl with spicy chicken. The Kalbi looked good too.
