Stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning. My partner and I got breakfast paninis and our child tried the pancake combo.The sandwiches were good, but definitely needed the hot sauce, they were a touch light on flavor and the special sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe if the sandwich came with some veggies or fruit, it might have brought it up a notch. Still good, we cleared our plates.We enjoyed the coffee and the hot chocolate was pretty good.Service was over the top good, definitely an owner operator vibe and they seem very eager to make sure you leave happy.Did seem a bit cluttered in there, especially behind the counter, but it seemed clean so I just went along with the classic hole in the wall vibe.Might try a noodle or rice dish one of these days for lunch/dinner they looked pretty good.

Julius and Lucy are the kindest people and really care about their customers! The food is always prepared with love and tastes delicious! My go to is usually the peanut butter acai bowl when I want something sweet, but when I want savory, their curry puffs are pure comfort food! The kids love their fish & chips and dragon noodles. Their smoothies are yummy as well as the milk teas! Definitely try them out if you are in the neighborhood!

10/10 recommend this place! The panini was soooo delicious and exactly how I wanted it. The bread was soft, yet crunchy and the cheese was perfectly melted in with the egg 🤤I’ll definitely be going back regularly!

This pkace has good food. My vegetarian avocado sandwich was awesome. Also my caramel latte better than others Ive had. Prices are very reasonable and I like the people that are there.

I happened to come to this place while waiting to go to the nail salon and the guy working (who gave me the vibe that he was the owner) was extremely nice and welcoming as well as patient.I got a chai tea latte and a BLT. It was really good and they were very fast. I definitely want to come back to try their other plates.

Outstanding service so kind and loved the location was searching for some glasses at the near shops wen I came across this amazing cafe shop 5stars the food was Tasteful and the drinks omg 🫠melting great thanks u sausalido cafe for such a great experience will see you again and a again I definitely recommend this location to family and friends

Came here on a whim due to hunger pangs as my car was being worked on by my mechanic. I was greeted by a man by the name of Julius and his lovely wife Lucy both whom I correctly assumed were the owners. They had a dignified and most welcoming countenance about them. I ordered the Dragon noodles with chicken and a house made strawberry soda. I must say, though he admitted that this was his version of pad Thai, it rivals the best of them out there. It was scrumptious and had perfectly balanced flavors that makes you want to keep shoveling in your mouth. No joke, some of the best noodles I’ve had which is surprising coming from an unassuming little cafe. You can taste the care that went into this dish. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The lesson here is this: don’t overlook little businesses such as these for you will be pleasantly surprised just as I was with this little cafe called Sausalido Cafe on a non descript strip mall. Let’s support one another by supporting small businesses such as these! Man, those noodles SLAP!! 👋🏽

A delightful and very friendly local cafe in an unassuming corner strip mall. Portions are much larger than expected, that is a full size box that croissant is in! The curry puffs are wonderfully spiced and flaky. My partners immediate reaction was can we get these with meat 😂 Not sure why the noodle dishes are all renamed (the dragon noodles are pad Thai) but they are delicious. Weve had trouble finding complex Thai around here that isnt just sweet without the fish funk, this place has us covered! The medium spicy has a decent kick.Covid safe, takeout only right now. Online ordering through chownow for less fees for the business!

The food was good. I had the dragon noodles. They were fresh and not too spicy. The service was really good. Would recommend this place.
