Very delicious for pho. Both chicken and beef soups had lots of spice and flavour. Really nice outdoor garden to sit in. Like a hidden gem. We got tea with delicious cookies! Highly recommended.

The pho itself was OK, but had a lot of black pepper! The broth was not clear at all and had some very hard to chew roots so the pho was very hard to enjoy.The pho portions are twice smaller that usual pho bowls are served at the restaurants.The side veggies for the pho were old and looking strange. We had to ask to replace it!The surrounding area is beautiful, more of the sitting area is available outside of the restaurant.

Phở tái (rare steak) is good. I love the broth. Bánh mì is above average. Bò kho taste is not what i used to. The meat is tender but the soup and seasoning did not do it for me. Vivian is a great waitress. The out door seating is great

I like Vietnamese phone, but this one is the worst ever I had. the lady didnt even greet us. the price is 20% higher than other places and also the portion is much smaller, about 60% the size the other places had. the broth is not good, not clear. It is not the Vietnamese traditional flavor. the pho is puffy, feels like the Chinese noodle. I dont like it at all so is my wife. Will never go again.

Super attentive to vegan orders. They were really eager to modify the salad dressing for the Vietnamese cabbage salad to include soy sauce instead of fish sauce. My friend had a more classic beef pho and thought it was amazing. They also serve pizza somehow, which I’m excited to come back and try. Very intimate little experience and open reasonably late.

Such an amazing experience. First time in Santa Barbara not knowing what to eat, and we could smell the pho from a block away. We walked in and what was greeted immediately, and was given a rundown of the whole menu. The man that was in the front was so nice and talked about what he liked about each of the dishes. We got two bowls of the beef broth pho with the veggie sides and the order of the fried spring rolls. The price was very good for an area like this. If we lived here, we will definitely come back again as a perfect date night for the beautiful atmosphere surrounding the building.

Really great spot here at the Victoria Courts near SOHO in Santa Barbara. One of the best bowls of Pho Ive had. The folks running the show are very nice people. They have undoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is tucked in the shade of the courtyard. Its a great spot, better people, and even better food. Definitely try this spot next.

Driving back to Los Angeles from the Central Coast, we stopped to get a bite at this tucked away establishment. My husband and I are (mostly) vegetarian and are also big fans of Asian cuisine. However, it can be a challenge to find a vegan pho that is not simply a bowl of salty broth. SB Pho delivered. The stock tastes of (and is!) chock full of vegetables and spiced thoughtfully with subtle hints of anise and clove. We were so impressed that my husband had to ask the chef what the secret was. Chef took him into the kitchen and talked passionately about his treatment of vegetables and meat. Next time we happen to be in the area, I look forward to trying other menu options!

A truly hidden gem! After a long night of breweries and wineries in Santa Barbara, nothing beats comfort food the next morning. This place offers authentic pho in the morning when no one else does so! Its hidden in a quaint hidden plaza so make sure to not give up hope if you dont find it at first (its numbered 10). It is much worth it. The owner (most likely?) is extremely pleasant and seems very well traveled. Next time, Ill check if they have mimosas or other drinks. Id come here over any other brunch place in Santa Barbara any time!

Amazing experience on our first (but not the last) day at SB Pho Restaurant!! A true hidden gem!!!Absolutely the best Pho in all of Santa Barbara Ron and his wife Jade !!!!!!! SHE has the ability to make you go into food coma I, I cant explain how I feel the first taste was an explosion of everything the broth was incredible AND then the spicy rush that I love!!!!!(I made it spicy for me but no spice is still soooooo memorable. Easy parking, great service and delicious pho! We’ve eaten there many times and the patio ambiance it’s so wonderful- especially at sunset. They staff is so kind and the food immediately fills us up. My boyfriend gets beef pho and I get the veggie. We drive from Carpinteria every week(sometimes twice) to get our fix of SB Pho. Definitely our favorite place for Pho in all of Santa Barbara County!

Veggie broth was decent but I’ve had more unique flavors from restaurants in Goleta and Ventura (Mai’s Cafe, for example). Unfortunately, I had trouble enjoying my meal because the owner’s little kids were running around the restroom and once threw a paper airplane at me while I was eating. Hope the college students working there are being paid to take care of the owner’s little kids.Food is decent but I’ll skip next time.

I had the chicken pho and the spring rolls. Both were excellent and representative of what you would find in a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. I thought the service and the portions were good to. Its a very convenient location near the public market and scarlett begonia on victoria. There is a paid parking lot right there to make it easy too. You can sometimes find parking further up on west victoria or you can use the 2 hour PM market lot.

The beef pho was really fresh, beef was tender and the broth didn’t need anything to enhance it; was good as is. The atmosphere is really great and service was great as well! We had the bulgogi sandwich and it was pretty good. Not the best, but definitely good. Overall, I’d say this place does have the best Pho Tai if you’re looking for that! Just fyi, the large size isn’t too too big so if you want something that will get you full (or even full enough), get the large!

Best Pho ever. Authentic English Breakfast. Ron and Jade own this restaurant which serves food from 4 continents (hence the 4 eggs). Ron met Jade while teaching music in Vietnam (he did in several countries, which is where he gets his background in international cuisine), but he grew up in Santa Barbara and has brought it all home to share with us here!

Best most flavorful pho weve ever had. The aroma of the spices in the broth alone was enough to show how high quality it was. My boyfriend had the chicken pho with chicken broth and I had the veggie pho with vegan broth and both were so full of spice and flavor. I find that with most vegan pho broths, theres almostno taste but the flavors were so pronounced. great for meat eaters, happy surprise for vegitarians/vegans. The place is a little hidden and maybe unsuspecting but thats what makes it great.

I really like this place. It’s a little hard to find, but once you get there, it’s really sweet. A lot of variety in the menu so you can go with people with different tastes. The staff was friendly and very accommodating of my daughters, severe peanut allergy. We felt safe eating there with things with peanuts on the menu. The pho and bahn mi were delicious.

This vegan pho is amazing! Its by far the tastiest pho Ive ever had. The first time I ate here I asked about their broth (Ive had terrible experiences with Saigon giving us veggie broth that contained meat chunks). They were very upfront about having three separate broths and that the veggie broth was in no way cross contaminated. This may seem like a small thing, but it is HUGE for someone whos vegan and wants to be able to eat comfortably without worrying about cross contamination. BEST PHO EVER! Thank you!!!

Best pho and tofu bahn me Ive ever had, and Ive had a LOT of both. I cant even describe the taste of the pho broth, its incredible. My son and I are from Portland OR and came down to Santa Barbara for the weekend. We stopped in for breakfast and the food was amazing, my son had the classic French Omelette, And I had the full English breakfast. They do a sourdough crust pizza here that I am going to be trying later this evening, the menu has an amazing variety of things and they even serve Pho for breakfast. The feel of this restaurant is eclectic but here it works. This will be a go to stop for us every time we come to Santa Barbara.
