All Families eat here for years. And recently we are notice on the bill, they are always charges extra ( something you are not ordered) when you comes asked ( the whole restaurant no one had knowledge to explained lol).The dim sum old hard to chew. We ate around 12:30 no air conditioning. If you planned to eat here Watch out for the bill. I will never comes back here again!

This is a 2nd time we have dined in at the Seafood World and we really liked the service and the atmosphere of this restaurant. Our waitress today, Jessica, is the nicest and the best. She is very courteous and very nice. We will definitely coming back because of the great service and good food.

I have been here a number of times and we love it. Great place to bring large groups. The food comes out hot and is so delicious. They have a large selection, something for everyone. We mainly ate shrimp and pork but tried the seaweed salad and the broccoli and liked them both. All the ladies are very friendly.The only thing that was odd was they served our beer and wine with a glass of ice. No big deal.

I was a loyal customer and my favorite items is lobster with black bean Sause. The restaurant mostly empty every time I came that made me wondered what went wrong with this restaurant, until now. I ordered a 5 lb lobster but it looked so small, I put it on the scale that includes round onions and sauce but it weighted only 3.6 lbs. They can cheat as long as they want but when a customer knew it then that would be the last order.

Lobster is not the best choice on my ordered menu today as its too salty and soak. The clam dish was good but the garlic fried aquatica was bad (around $12+ per dish). The filet mignon beef was ok. Overall, restroom was not cleaned and no paper towel or dry air clean machine inside men restroom. They need to improve Restroom Hygiene and keep it clean. Customer service was ok but not excellent.

Sometimes I just dont understand myself why I dont give a 5 for this solid, respectable, clean, mid-upper level Dim Sum seafood restaurant. It is just I have to reserve 5 for a place that is surprising my imagination/blowing me away which this restaurant is just a hair short.

We rented out one of their banquet halls. The food was fantastic. We were disappointed we could not bring in our own alcohol as their menu for alcohol is very limited, however, they did allow us to bring in our own pastries and cakes.

We used Seafood World as our caterer for our wedding at a venue in Aliso Viejo and I cant thank them and Ann enough. She helped me customize a 5 course meal for our wedding and was so helpful with all the questions I had (and I had A LOT of questions)! Everyone loved the food we had and the service we received from Ann and her team was amazing! Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable and special!

Quality dim sum for a great price. I used to get dim sum a lot as a kid and could never find a place that had that same authentic flavor and feel. Seafood World is now my go to place and I always recommend it to anyone wanting dim sum! The interior is also beautiful.

They have terrible service here. I asked 3-4 people for water, chopsticks, and hot sauce. They didnt have any dessert carts out because they ran out of everything - no sesame balls, egg tarts, jello, nothing. Bill took so long to calculate and they charged us for things we didnt order. LOOK OVER YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY AND LEAVE!Something shady they do is force tea onto tables and automatically charge for it even if you dont drink it. You have to let them know you dont want it so they POSSIBLY wont charge you. We didnt even have tea on our table but were charged for that!! Imagine how much theyre banking off of charging $3 for tea for all the customers they charge that dont even drink it or even get it!! I asked the manager if thats something they do for every table and she completely ignored meIts no wonder I hadnt been here in 10 years; there are WAAAY better local dim sum places

For three people, we paid $70 total. There was no listing of the prices of the items we ordered. Some of the food was warm enough, but others werent. Unfortunately, cooled food didnt taste as good as expected. Not sure if we will revisit soon; maybe after a longer internal.

This place is not great but it isnt bad. We come here when were really in the mood for dim sum but dont want to wait a long time for some of the busier places. The food isnt quite as good as some other spots, and the selection is not anywhere near as diverse as I would usually hope for. However, what they do serve is mostly pretty fresh and well prepared. I never regret eating here.

Seafood World drove all the way down to San Diego to cater to our wedding. We had various dim sum for our cocktail hour and a 7-course meal for our dinner, served family style. We’ve eaten at Seafood World many times when we went to visit family, and each time, they did not disappoint. Needless to say, our guests enjoyed everything and were stuffed by the end of the night. Ann was very easy to work with, and the staff was very friendly. They did an amazing job cooking and serving the food in good time. Ann went above and beyond in helping us coordinate with the venue, and met with the venue manager at times that we weren’t able to, just to make sure we were all on the same page. We would definitely recommend Seafood World not just for catering, but a good place to meet up and eat regularly. If only we lived relatively closer, we would definitely be making more frequent visits.

We stopped here for brunch with the in laws before heading back home and it was ok. Its probably one of the few places that still has carts and not the order sheet dim sum. Although there might be a lot more cart dim sum restaurants in OC and LA that I dont know about, especially since we live in SD and dont dine down here often.The restaurant itself is very pretty, and my brother in law told me that it doubles as a wedding venue/hall. Tables are nice and big but some are stuck very close together, and youre left sitting practically on top of your neighbor.It was pretty empty when we came in but got very busy soon after. My brother in law had to flag down the waitress a few times to ask for some chili oil, which they didnt have, and a plastic fork and spoon for our son.The food itself was ok but I didnt get to try much to be able to say for sure. The shu mai wasnt bad and the bbq pork bun was typical. The rice cake was plain, and the scallop dumpling was ok but heavy.

Food will satisfy you if youre craving decent dim sum. The fried food was extra greasy though. Offering fried sushi is dumb...Thats not even Chinese. The price is high. We averaged $26 per person which for only dim sum is really high. Im giving whole extra star for push carts experience. There was no wait at prime time probably cause of the high price.

Its very Disney- ish with Disney music everywhere. A few cool things with the touch and feel pool, some pretty cool shows but its very crowded even on the weekdays. The best show I liked was something we just happened yo ran into - the seal show. Other shows are also pretty cute but not that impressive

Theres not much selection here versus the other Dim Sum restaurants that are nearby. -1There werent as many carts running around either =(Service: C (slow & they didnt even check on us at all, we had to keep waving the waitress down for things we needed).Food: C (not much stuff to pick from & food wasnt as fresh as other Dim Sum places; I was expecting more). =(Decor: a little run down, they really need to remodel this place.Parking isnt so bad as other Dim Sum restaurants & now I know why. =(Overall, not impressed...Man, I miss the Dim Sum in San Gabriel..Next! =(

The Dim Sum was excellent, except the Dun Tut was disappointing. The crust overpowered the custard. It seems as they have really cut down on the amount of the filling they put in the crust, disappointing! Please make the Dun Tut the way you did in the past and dont cut corners.
