2023-12-06 21:42:39Vip room 3 & food presentation definitely wowed my guests. Its definitely worth booking if you have a large party. Karaoke was a bit hard to find songs but still enjoyed it.

2023-06-12 01:03:38This is a delicious buffet hotpot restaurant. There are many guests here, and all the guests after six oclock have to wait for their seats at the door. From the outside, this shop is not big. After entering, I found that the space inside is actually very large and the ventilation is good. Great! There is a TV on the wall, but I believe few people will pay attention to it ~ ~ ~ because I didnt find it until I finished paying. All the sauces here are self-help, including sesame sauce, sweet noodle sauce, Chili sauce and sauces I cant name. There are also snacks such as fried dough sticks, spring rolls, doughnuts and so on. You can keep getting it until you are full. Everyone has a small hot pot, and you can choose your own soup base. Meat can also be ordered from time to time. Other vegetables, melons, seafood and other hot dishes are supplied by the revolving belt. Its about forty-three dollars for one person included tip. You can try it. Its delicious!

2023-08-26 22:51:29This Seapot is amazing! Definitely a treat or special occasion kinda place since its a bit pricey per person but you cant beat the DIY all you can eat style and fun experience of hotpot and BBQ grill, either one or the other or both 🤤My favorite broth is tom yum and the tomato, and I love to load up on veggies and we pick out our favorite meats like pork belly and beef toro. It just takes a few seconds to cook the meat in the broth. I got too excited and burnt my tongue, careful its hotter than you think! ♨️ Need to cool it down first next time. And of course you need some rice or noodles to pair it with 🥢 My favorite sauce mix is ponzu, sesame oil, garlic, and lots of cilantro. Sometimes when Im feelin like it I drop a piece of butter in my broth too 😉Compared to the other Seapot experiences Ive had so far in their other locations Sunnyvale and Daly City, this had the most variety of conveyor belt options including okra, taro, Chinese sausage, large prawns, etc. It could also be seasonal and we just got lucky. The side dishes bar included yummy sides such as sesame balls and some sweets, fruit and others.Since we were just a party of two we got seated almost as soon as we went in, and service was fast and friendly. Expect a little wait if youre coming in with a bigger group or during peak meal times. Decent sized parking lot and a Nijiya market next door. Enjoy!

2023-06-13 22:37:03My brother came to visit from SoCal. We decided to try Seapot in San Mateo. It was amazingly a nice restaurant, the place is airy big, the parking lot is big enough so we have parking space when we got there at lunch. My sister loves the vegetables train that’s running nonstop except a few times to load. She kept taking all the nice and fresh veggies and shrimps. It even had beef tripes which I have to take my family here to try because my daughter loves tripes. Clams, mussels, dumplings, quite a few eatable dishes running through. The servers are quite attentive and fast. There are quite a few broths to choose from, I chose one spicy one that’s so spicy (stay away from this one) I couldn’t taste anything, to change it would cost $3 LOL.The meats are excellent, not as tender as Haidilao in Fremont but good. My son would love potbelly here. The layout is the same as all the hotpot buffet restaurants like Shabuya in Milpitas. Everyone gets a pot of broth of his/her choice and a burner, they do burn hot so turn it down when the broth boiled. At lunch may not have as many meats as dinner, but we had plenty of meats to enjoy, ribeye, potbelly and others, my sister ordered so I just eat and they’re all good. There’s a sauce bar in the other corner that you need to go to get your dipping sauce if you desire. The restroom is clean and well stocked. The price is amazingly inexpensive. $20/person for lunch? We had a great time eating and talking. Nice restaurant and I’ll definitely bring my family here although it’s a little drive from Fremont.

2023-03-28 04:01:09Firstly, I like how Seapot has a parking lot. Granted, I arrived just before prime hours. It definitely beats fighting for street parking in downtown San Mateo. Even though menu was all you can eat, the protein portions were generous and they didnt try to slow you down. I ordered lamb, pork belly(x2), angus beef (x2), my photos are all single orders. The soup bases were flavorful, spicy pot and tomato soup. The only drawback for ordering two bases is that the meat cooled the soup down faster and it took a minute to warm back up, not much of a complaint though. The conveyor belt was pretty convenient compared to other hotpot restaurants, maybe slightly less options but still a decent amount of veggies/seafood, and maybe could have had a few more desserts 😁. I initially started with low expectations. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my meal and I would gladly come back again. If you found my review helpful, follow my local guide profile to see my experiences with other destinations!

2023-05-31 03:19:14All you can eat, my happy place. Its really difficult to go wrong with Seaport locations. High quality, fresh, everything. I think they need maybe one more sauce area since the line for the sauces can be long, but it goes fast so its not a bother.Choose your meat, get some goodies from the conveyor belt, put it in the pot or grill, enjoy!

2023-08-19 23:35:20Love the atmosphere and the service was great! The angus and the ribeye were delicious. Not a huge fan of lamb in general, but it wasn’t too bad. Accidentally picked up my friend’s cut. However having tried it, I can say that it’s more flavorful than other hotpot restaurants I’ve been too for lamb lovers. I like the sauce booth, lots of choices. The pineapple was a nice touch to cleanse my palette with all the beef. The conveyor belt was a nice touch, definitely stocked up on the enoki mushrooms.

2023-07-18 23:56:46AYCE at Seapot! The wide variety of flavorful herbs, fresh proteins, seafood, and veggies sound delightful. You can pick whatever you like from the conveyor belt. Price is reasonable for the quality of ingredients.

2023-03-14 00:51:32Simply delicious and so much variety of both salads, sauces, hot pot dishes on the conveyor belt (seafood, vegetables, tofu...) and even desserts. We just love this place because we can try out new foods!
