We came in after the Boy Scout trail hike thirsty and famished. The beer was outstanding and food delish! We devoured the calamari strips and then moved on to the cranberry walnut salad, fish and chips, snapper and burger sub chicken. Brought home a piece of pumpkin cheesecake to finish off our night. Thank you Kristina for great service! Note - no pizza until after 4pm. Boo! Change that option.

The beers were really good! I really liked the Kamome Beer! We bought a couple of cans on the way home. The food was also delicious and served in big portions! The servers were awesome! Will definitely come back here before our next flight!

Pretty good selection of IPAs, not enough staff to handle holiday rush.We came during the 4th July holiday and the wait was 2 hours plus. What made it worse was that there seem to be plenty of empty tables: they were just not turned around fast enough… what a shame.Food wise: this place offers pretty good selection from burgers to grilled fish and pizza too. I really like the grilled snapper served with rice. The fish and chips was decent too. The peach nacho (dessert) was a bit too sweet for my taste.Overall I give this place a four ⭐️

We were looking for a quick stop for lunch and stumbled across this brewery- it was amazing! The beer was phenomenal and enjoyable to sip on outside on the patio. The rockfish and chips were excellent, they even split the entree for us. A great stop on your way down the coast!

Great beer and one of the better restaurant options in Crescent City. I had the burger and a beer flight. Great beer and the burger was very good. Only reason for four stars was the service as we would have had more drinks if the bar servers were more attentive and our appetizer (garlic bread) wasn’t brought out until we mentioned it as we received our meal.

Large busy establishment near the beach front. Reception were helpful and there was a wait for table space, bar seating is first come first served. Service was slow and seemed like there was a staff shortage. Beer and food were great. Worth a visit if youre in the area.

Truly a gem. I was in Crescent City for three days and we came to SeaQuake three times. The restaurant is cozy and atmospheric with a fireplace and big windows looking outside. I would definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather will cooperate, the patio is lovely and quiet.The service is excellent, all of the waitresses we had were lots of fun and attentive even when my group sat outside. On our first visit we initially sat outside and asked to move inside because it got pretty windy and the wait staff was super accommodating.The drinks were incredible. I drink a lot of cider and the Blurberry cider is literally the best I’ve ever had. Refreshing and flavorful but not too sweet. I ordered four across my three visits and I bought two crowlers (canned growlers, maybe?) to take away. The others in my party enjoyed their various beers as well. The first waitress we had was generous with samples when one of the members of my party was having trouble deciding what to order.The food was great as well. I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it and the rest of my party was happy with their orders, too. The menu is varied and has several vegetarian options so most anyone could find something they’d enjoy.

Great place to stop and have a beer and lunch. They also do take away half baked pizzas so a GREAT option to get lunch and a take away pizza for later to bake or not super nice if you are staying in a place you can cook your own food. Don’t forget to get a six pack of the great there original pale ale- citra or the famous space sailor ipa in a growler Togo or one of the good seasonal beers. I tried the sour berry and it was nice along with the milk stout.

If you are in town, this place is worth the stop. Food was flavorful and good. Lots of non-beer Kombucha and cider options as well. The atmosphere was fun and restrooms clean. Good outdoor seating as well. We enjoyed our food and kombucha so much during our camping trip in the area that we went back for a second time in 3 days! One of our waitresses was pretty disinterested but that didn’t bum us out.

Had lunch while passing through town with some family. The atmosphere was fantastic, gorgeous interior, friendly staff, and amazing food. The food came out fast and hot and our server Kristina was the absolute best. I am definitely making the 9 hour round trip drive to come back some time. The fish and chips were perfection.

The Mac and cheese was on the bland side and the chicken was overcooked which made it dry. The pizza was good, but also lacking a little flavor. Great atmosphere, great service, okay food.

Don’t sleep on Crescent City or Sea Quake!! Great little American cafe astral town with great folks, beaches and restaurants! Sea Quake is a gem in Crescent City, it truly shines! The food was great, the beer really good and can’t beat the friendliness of the staff. If you’re visiting the Redwoods or are near CC, stop in for a bite and beer, you won’t regret it!

Sat at the bar top, bartender was kind and friendly. It was the end of the night and we were gratefully for the hot meal. Hibiscus lemon drop and old fashion were excellent!We shared the Thai salad which was excellent and a generous portion. Clam chowder in the bread bowl was big enough to share, but we got one each. Creamy, flavorful and delicious. Will be hard to get anything else after having the chowder.Can’t wait to come back for another great experience with great meal.

Good service, good food. One of the only options open past 8pm around town; at least when we went. It was nice to have a place to sit after a long drive. I wasnt blow away by the foot but to to be honest, I didnt order anything to be blown away by. You can only get so excited about a Shrimp Caesar Salad. Service was great despite them being slammed; I can truly appreciate that!

We ordered clam chowder, calamari, birria tacos, and kids pepperoni pizza. My kid actually ate the pizza, so thats a win! The clam chowder was exactly what I was hoping itd be, and the beer was good. Husband got the root beer on tap and liked it. Only recommendation would be a slightly larger serving dish for the tacos. We had a little more drippage/spillage due to the flat tray, and a plate with a ridge would have prevented some of that.

On a road trip from Oregon to who knows where… Stumbled upon this gem! The service was absolutely amazing, the food so good that it was finger licking. Wow! Just like everyone said, this is the spot. Some of the best food my family has had after traveling all over North America. Definitely want to make reservations but even without it only took maybe thirty minutes at 6:15. We spent way more last night in Newport Beach, and it was good but not as good as this.The nachos with blacked shrimp was the best nachos any of us had had. And we eat nachos a lot.Snapper is amazing my mom and everyone. This was the clear winner entree.Best prepared breaded fried fish Ive ever had from my dad who orders fish and chips everywhere.Jalapeno soup was great, carrot soup was even better, but the clam chowder was pretty amazing, and we get that like every meal.Liked the beer as well, but the food was outstanding.

Very nice brewery with a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. The service was excellent, nice and fast. We got a sampler flight of 6 beers, I found that the Pebble beach pale was my favorite, didnt like the others as much. Pizza, was excellent, thin crust. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. The only issue was that most of the cheese was at the bottom of the bowl. The pastrami sandwich was ok. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back again

All aspects of my experience were phenomenal. The building itself was very pristine and has a great ambiance. Whether you are going for the brewery or the food you won’t be disappointed. I tried multiple menu items and all of it was fantastic. Their beer was creative and similarly excellent. The price was more than fair for the quality, and the quantity left me satisfied. Their staff were attentive in addition to friendly, thoughtful, and charming. I sincerely hope they continue to thrive as they gave me and my family an all around amazing experience. Love the food. Usually, the service matches. Not today.Was ordering food for my kids, and the server kept interrupting my order. They didnt appreciate that I finished my order instead of stopping to listen to them. As a customer Id like to not be spoken over.From that point on, our server ignored us. Taking the orders of 2 large tables, without checking in on us again. Our kids order came out before we even got the chance to order for ourselves. We decided to just get the bill and eat somewhere else.

If you are ever swinging through Crescent City, make sure you pop on over to SeaQuake. The location is fantastic as it right across the street from the park and walking distance to the lighthouse. We door dashed this place tonight. There’s only a handful of eateries here that allows door dash. So we tried this establishment. Their food was lovely. We ordered a bread bowl of clam chowder-delicious! It needed a bit of salt for my liking. But that kind of thing is a personal preference. Hubby wasn’t too hungry and ordered the pizza sticks. He loved them! Nice fresh dough. We also ordered the drunken tacos to share. That chicken was AMAZING!! And they didn’t skimp on the meat either!! The only thing I’d recommend is to add utensils to the orders. Luckily we had cutlery in our room from our trip. Thank you for utilizing door dash. We appreciate it!

We absolutely loved it here! We had 2 flights and liked almost everything, and even the things we didnt prefer werent bad by any means. We ordered the snapper and 9.2 burger. The snapper was out of this world! And the burger had amazing flavors, but the patty itself was a little drier than we prefer (ordered medium). The fries were good as well. They even asked if we wanted to split the plates, no extra charge! We had great service and such a fantastic experience.

SeaQuake offers a great variety of their beers on tap in addition to really great seafood! My fiance and I had the calamari strips, the red snapper, and the fish tacos. The calamari was excellent and barely lasted longer than 5 mins. The fish tacos had great portions of toppings and fish that left me satisfied. Overall the food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Service is very friendly, attentive, and quick. On top of everything, there is a dog park right across the street (not owned by SeaQuake) which makes this a great trip out for everyone in the family

Fantastic Food! Hubby and I opted for an evening in after a hike in the Redwoods and a stroll on the beach and got our food delivered. The clam chowder was perfect with the potatoes at just the right softness. The cheesey bread was so good that we have decided to add in a stop to Rumianos place before we head home. We also enjoyed our Sea Quake brownie dessert, it was the perfect finish to an awesome meal. By far the best presented and best tasting meal we have had delivered. Next time well try eating in the restaurant.

Fantastic brewery and great food! Had the bbq chicken pineapple pizza and it was delicious. Was about a 25 minute wait to get a seat, but with the useful text back service gave us just enough time to check out the local lighthouse before getting a table! Would definitely recommend and return!

Love the food here and great beer (chocolate porter is so cozy!). Usually stick to the burgers, but friends have loved the Mac and cheese and pizza too. Amazing sweet potato fries! Drew, our server, was incredible! A go to in the area.Also, the QR scanning was GREAT! We were able to keep tabs on when we would be seated and how fast. Worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Hands down. It was actively raw and burnt at the same time, as soon as a slice was picked up it would flop all the way and toppings would slide off. It was a chicken, bacon, artichoke pizza but the chicken was a off putting gray color and matched the color of the artichoke. Both my girlfriend and I felt actively ill tonight after consuming the pizza earlier in the evening, I’m assuming due to the gray “chicken”. Our server also left for the end of her shift during our visit and didn’t alert any of the other servers to take over our table. We had to flag someone down to get our bill so we could leave. We will not be returning, this was an awful experience all the way around.

From the start to the finish my time spent here has been amazing. I LOVE the QR scanning to put our name in for a table. We were able to order beers while my husband and I waited for a table. It was nice to be able to track how many parties were in front of us. Once we got our table service was friendly and quick. Food came out quick as well. Portion sizes were big with an appetizer and soup and salad was too much food for with leftovers going home with me. This is a brewery I will go back to.

This place has The. Best. Fries. Ever. I can’t believe I’m writing a review about french fries, but seriously, they are some of the best I have ever had. We will drive back through Crescent City just to eat their fries again. Their fish and chips is completely legit and worth it, and their Mac is spot on. I just wish they used their same fried fish in their fish tacos instead of the odd Cajun spiced grilled fish. But their fries are so good, I’m not even knocking a star.

I tried their porter which wasnt a porter at all... it was hoppy not malty. Strike one. We asked if the chicken was breast or thigh, which the chef did not know so they brought out a piece for us to decipher ourselves, what???? Stopped in on our way through town for a quick pint and were pleasantly surprised by how awesome the food was. We ordered to go and it was sooo good. My only complaint was that I saved one of my avocado tacos for later. I placed in our wheel well (to protect it from our dogs) while we ran into the grocery store… you can tell where this goes.. Wanted to love this place but the food and service were lacking. It was also very unfortunate to still see an entire staff in masks, that should have been a sign. Maybe our waitress was having an off day but she seemed miserable and as if we were bothering her. The drinks and beer were good. But our food was definitely lacking flavor, the pastrami tasted as though it just had your typical packaged deli meat and nothing special. The burgers were very dry but our waitress never came around to see how our food was. We may he back for trying some of the other beer, but probably not for food. At least not for a while.

The one place in Cresent City you really should try! For some crazy reason we never did. Good beers, great food, awesome atmosphere, cozy interior and lots of outdoor seating for those beautiful days like today. Had their wings (all different sauces, BBQ -mango Habanero-buffalo) and they were excellent. Every dish they brought out to other people liked great. I came in the wrong door but was sat down in less then five minuets because they have plenty of space, plenty of young well Manfred hostesses and eager bar staff that fulfills your request for a hard drinking that got my 20% gratuity.The most impressive thing was the nachos I ordered on a whim. Cant remember what year it was that I had nachos. You can tell that they chose freshly made chips over basic bagged ones bit the kicker whas the FRESH blacked shrimp I got on top of the standard meat and cheese and other stuff that makes getting your fingers messed up for.The Moscow Muel was made 90% (no mint) so I still gave them the 5 star! This is the restaurant to eat at if you are out here.

Bar was so crowded we could not even get drinks while we waited.But...once they seated us service was quick and the food was delicious. The menu writer gets 5 stars, but the actual food and service gets 2. We were very excited to eat here, as the food looked and sounded delicious, based on the descriptions we read. Our party had the California Burger, the crimini pizza, and mac and cheese, with and without the delicious-sounding pulled pork.This was the blandest food we have ever had. Utterly devoid of flavor, we had to use excessive salt and parmesan cheese on everything, just to get a little taste of something. I suspect you might like it more if youre coming here for the beer, but the food was bad, even for bar food. On the positive side: the cheese curds were excellent. The other person with me had the strawberry salad and it was massive and she said it was delicious too. The food was out around 15 mins after we order it.Considering the type of brewery it’s pretty reasonable, entrees were around $15, and I’ve been to similar breweries where entrées were around $20-25. We didn’t order alcohol, appetizers, or desserts and we walked out under $50 (including tip) for entrees. The portion sizes were big so I felt like $15 per was with the money.We waited 15 minutes to get seated but I can see it being much longer on busy days so pack your patience because the wait will be worth it.

This is the only negative review I have ever written. I’m hoping it will catch the attention of the owner and it will be taken seriously since several others seem to be having the same experience. Our food was pretty good, but the server that “helped” us was noticeably bothered by being there from the first stop at our table to the very last where she threw our credit card back on the table after swiping it. Not only did we experience bad service from her, we also witnessed another table having issues with their food and having a difficult time with her as well. Our family enjoyed visiting SeaQuake while staying in Crescent City. We love sours and both of the sours on tap were delicious. We have mixed feelings on the food. My parents loved the mac & cheese. We had to return the next day for them to eat it again. The cheese curds are great but not the same quality both times. One day, the curds had some nice large pieces mixed in but the next day, we got a bowl full of tiny pieces all bunched up together. Pizza was okay. The cheese was wonderful but the sauce has zero flavor and pizza needed to be cooked a little longer. The Thai Chicken Salad was disappointing. It literally looked like a bag salad that was dumped in the bowl with dressing added. There was maybe 6 pieces of chicken on the salad. There’s not a lot of competition in this town as far as restaurants go but your food has room for improvement. Definitely recommend the beer!

The Kölsch $6 was a bigger than what is served in Cologne, but good and the Chocolate flavored American Porter $6 was good, but not very creamy. perhaps a nitrogen draft would give it a great head, minus 1*.The nachos $12.50 were the kind served with a cheese sauce rather than melted cheese, so it lacked the baking step, and preferred caramelized melted cheese (like a pizza), that the best nachos have. The cheese sauce was flavorful but too thin and ran to the bottom of the bowl. We are not a fan of nacho cheese sauce and soggy chips minus 1*. We ordered a side of chips $4 to finish the job. The chicken was called drunken, but was adobo style and very good.Total for appetizer and three drinks at 4pm $31 before tax and tip is a fairly good value.

My first time dining at Seaquake was turned from a negative to a positive. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was over fried, crust was a little too golden. But the fish itself was delicious. The manager stopped at our table and observed the pile of crust I had removed from my fish. He kept asking me if I enjoyed the meal and then I finally confessed that the fish had been fried too long but there was enough inside that was satisfying. He offered me 50% off my meal. Cool place with excellent food and beer. Had a flight of beer and all of them were amazing, bought some to take home with us as well. Wife and I had fish and chips and fish tacos and they were fantastic. Would recommend Seaquake for anyone in the area.

They have a nice selection of draft beers and friendly service. Their bread appetizer is really good! Super expensive pizza, I love a good wood fired pizza but they arent very big. The caesar salad was not authentic in any way, tasted like airport food, do not recommend at all. Their fish and chips were super bland. I get that fish and chips is usually a pretty bland, but this was just not it.

Passing through Crescent city, on our way down the coast back home, we stopped in to SeaQuake Brewing, wow! Loved the friendly atmosphere! The staff was on point! The views were great! I can’t even remember what was on the tv! We got the cheese curds, OMG! Get these! And the fish tacos were amazing! We tried to IPA’s, a porter and a stout! We took home the chocolate porter, cuz we couldn’t just write home about it! Thanks SeaQuake! You guys made that day of driving! Definitely recommend!

I really don’t understand the hype. We waited nearly double what we were first quoted and watched the hostess arbitrarily quote a range of wait times to several parties that walked up to put their name on the list. The chicken was rubber and most things were over cooked and bland. I think the nice building and lack of other options in Crescent City over inflates this place. Beer is fine.

Struggling to find a nice to eat, especially with the spotty internet in and around Crescent City. We found a place that was newer place and really clean inside and outside….the SeaQuake Brewing. Food was really good and fresh (see photo). I had the chocolate Stout beer too. Service was quick and staff was really nice.

I’ll start with the good - the food and beer was great. Now- AFTER a 2 HOUR WAIT we were seated outside, then moved because that heater didn’t work, the waiter was RUDE, I didn’t get my drink until after our food, our appetizers came with the meal, charged us for extra drinks, charged us for KETCHUP (we didn’t even get ketchup) and then made fun of our last name when my husband gave him his credit card! Love the food, the service was some of the worst I’ve had.

Everything and I mean everything was just okay. Our server was polite. Me and my friend both got beer flights. I got the famous clam chowder for an app and the Snapper for my entree and my friend got a burger. I think we liked one beer on our flights. The soup was intended to be a starter but was delivered with the entree all of which came out suspiciously fast from the kitchen. The soup was so thick that if I had put the crackers in there, I could have used it to hang drywall. The fish filet was decent but the rice was this gelatinous mess which was set in a pool of oil with cherry tomatoes. Neither of us finished anything except the one lone beer that was good. Dog got the leftover fish. Asked for water refills. Never saw her again until time to pay. Its best that waiters have a 2 bites/2 minutes policy to ensure satisfaction. She took her order > checked in once where we asked for waters half way through > gave us the check. Some definite room for improvement. Had high hopes, nice building and location.

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Bar tender was so friendly and helpful, even gave us names of other breweries to stop at as we travel south. Wood fired pizza was best weve had in ages. While camping in the redwoods, my husband and I visited SeaQuake every night on our vacation - seriously, every night. Everything we tried was delicious, and the beers were very good (and we are beer snobs, admitted!). Our favorites were the Citra IPA and the chocolate porter. I grew up in the Midwest and was skeptical of their cheese curds, but I gotta admit, they were very delicious. Wait staff is nice and the management is attentive. Great place to stop by in crescent city.

The divorced dad who spends too much time on Facebook energy in this place is off the charts. We went here while visiting the national park nearby and really regretted it. Pastrami sandwich bread was super soggy from liquid on the plate, pastrami was extremely salty and seemed low quality, fries were barely warm and were not cut fresh, etc. The bartender asked what beer wed like as soon as we sat down, which was weird because we werent going to order beer. They must have told her to ask that to pressure people into ordering more expensive drinks.

What a special brewery SeaQuake is! We didnt come here for drinks but instead for their KOMBUCHA!!!! And WOW did they not disappoint!!! We had their Peach Paradise --- smooth, subtle, and fruity. Our waitress Alicia was a sweetheart & let us sample their limited edition Pumpkin Kombucha as well - equally delicious!!! As for our food; the clam chowder was hearty but not really anything special, our fish n chips were extra crispy and a good portion, but what we really fell in love with were the NACHOS! Unlike most establishments that drizzle their toppings only on the top layer of chips (leaving you with a soggy top layer yet nothing but plain tortilla underneath) SeaQuake DELIVERS with their nachos --- the white cheesy queso was generously spread in every layer, and the toppings lasted until every last chip was gone... I stopped by twice and had beers and the calamari sticks both times.For beers, I had the blonde and the hazy and another IPA and they were all excellent.For food, I think the first time, the calamari sticks were more crispy and darker brown, but the second time they were also good.For seating, they have the bar seats, the high top tables, the regular tables, the upstairs tables and the outdoor tables. The day I was there, the outdoors was just too cold in Creacent City; though a few people toughed it out with the heat lamps there.Overall a fun new-style large microbrew pub.

Fantastic spot!The beers were great, especially the Space Sailor, and the Rockfish/Pacific Snapper was one of the tastiest dishes Ive had.But the service stands out even more, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. They were super accommodating for our dog, and everyone elses dog. Kristina P in particular stood out, when a nearby table had left their phone behind. She saw the phone, and SPRINTED across the outdoor section, hopped over the railing, and ran out to them waving her arms to alert them before they could drive away. Thats what I call service!

Delicious brewery. Good cider, yummy fries, and perfect main course. The atmosphere was a really cool located in a high ceilinged warehouse turned into a restaurant. My mom loved the fish and chips. I had a bacon hamburger with caramelized onions and bacon jelly. I hadnt encountered bacon jelly before, but now believe it to be one of the greatest substances in the world. It is delicious caramelized spread with chunks of bacon in it. Ceaser salad was a wonderful portion, very tasty home made dressing. Altogether a wonderful meal in a good location with delicious food.

We visited while on vacation. The palace itself has a fun atmosphere. There is an outdoor area where you can play Cornhole as well as an outdoor seating area.We arrived during happy hour. The beers were good. We had one of their appetizer, the Bacon Wrapped Prawns. They were delicious.We mainly visited because they advertised their pizzas. Unfortunately, my wife and I were not impressed with the selection. Most of their pizzas were vegetarian and if you wanted meat, you had either a pepperoni to choose from or some with pulled pork and chicken. So, if you are in the mood for something with a lot of meat, sausage, pepperoni, ham, etc.. maybe not here.My wife settled for the fish and chips. She said they were awesome and I tried a piece and I have to agree. I had the 9.2 Burger. To be honest, as far a burger goes, I think my own gourmet burgers are better. It wasnt anything to write home about and maybe because the patty itself didnt seem to have much flavor.Dont get me wrong, there were lots of other items on the menu I would try, but if I wanted pizza and beer, I might try somewhere else. Still a great place and the staff was very polite and attentive.

Great food, great pour, great service .Been trying to stop here for months between GP and Eureka, but due To Covid, we never were able to make it with the hours. We are happy to finally say it was fantastic. We got the JW jasmine rice bowl, we told them we were splitting it, and it came out split on two plates. That was a lovely touch. We also had the calamari for an appetizer which was fantastic, and my boyfriend knows good calamari. Looking forward to making this a usual stop. Highly recommend.
