Seaward Sushi in Ventura

In my opinion the best sushi in Ventura County. Chef Oscar experience in Japanese cuisine clearly makes him stand out and their food shows it.

Quality is off the hook (no pun intended)! Gabriel has a quality establishment. I have been looking forward to checking this place out for years and its worth checking out for sure. They are a local spot. Im positive that they will take care of you and... make sure to be super kind to the staff. They work really hard over there. I am glad that these guys are still around. One of the best sushi joints in Ventura! Keep up the great work you guys!

Seward sushi is our new favorite spot! We went in there because they were one of the few places still open and they had the highest rating on Yelp. Wasnt sure what to expect but it was apparent as soon as we got there how great the hostess was at attending our table and making sure we were comfortable. Our party of four ordered several rolls, but I must say anybody going here needs to try the Santa Paula roll! Ive been to every sushi restaurant in Ventura county about, and I must say this place blows them all out of the water! Be sure to pair your meal with the garlic edamame! Pretty sure you guys will be riding a review as well after eating here ....

Didn’t like the service the waitress provided to us after asking if we can sit in a larger table. When clearly there wasn’t any other guests at the time of arrival. Minutes after her attitude, we decided to leave. Food might be great according to reviews, but with unprofessional staff that’s sets the tone on how the evening is going to be at your location.

We have tried most of the menu on our numerous visits...we have not been disappointed with any of our choices!! My favorite is the Avacado Bomb. Oscar is skilled at preparing sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls. Crowded at times but worth the wait.

One of the best sushi in Ventura County. Really one of my favorite sushi spots. Their gyoza is a must and is the best I have tried. Employees were super nice and made sure we were all good.

If you havent tried Seaward Sushi you are really missing out! Seaward Sushi has the most amazing atmosphere! There are beautiful murals hand-painted on all of the walls. It would be worth a visit just to see the incredible art! There is a wide variety of different sushi, tempura, and side dishes that you can order. All of the foods are fresh and have excellent flavor. The servers, sushi chef, and the owners who run the place are all super cool pirates!This restaurant has a very down to Earth vibe with a major touch of class. It is worth driving out to visit this restaurant. I drove 2 hours in one direction to go there for a friends birthday bash and I intend to go back again very soon. Everything was so delicious and I just loved Seaward Sushi and highly recommend it to you!!

Want heat and a tasty unique menu, done. Want a 15 minute challenge, they got it. Want friendly service that makes you laugh, its there. Want music that I wont stop singing too no matter how many times my husband asks me to stop, also done!We didnt plan on going out today but as we drove by we knew we had to try it. We were not disappointed. While the menus is on the pricer side, the food is worth it. Im pretty picky and there were a ton of options for me. Even the presentation was 5 stars.

This place has been wonderfully redone. I think it is way better than how it used to be. Change is good! The sushi is beautifully presented, fresh and tastes amazing. The Haru roll is our favorite. We are enjoying meeting friends each week. We are so excited they are open with new wonderful owners.

My family and I ordered four rolls and they were extremely delicious. My favorite was the Rummage Roll; a roll made with shrimp and eel on top. It combines a bunch of wonderful flavors, it might be my new favorite here. The restaurant is a work of art, every time I come back I see a new piece of art I hadn’t seen before. I love what they are doing with the rolls, with an artistic twist! The presentation of the food matches the magical artwork of the building!
