I have been going to Sei-Ko-En for over 20 years and it is still my favourite restaurant. The ownership has changed from when I was a kid, but the quality has not dropped one bit. Rather, the service has improved from a younger staff.The bean sprouts are a must order side dish as well as the prime rib. For those more adventurous eaters I would suggest the cow tongue here. Some of the best I have found in LA.I would recommend to make a reservation as it is a small restaurant. It is a bit smokey as it is a bbq restaurant but this is by far my favourite restaurant in LA.

Not fancy but the service is excellent.Our first time at a Japanese BBQ and the server was nice to explain everything. Food was delicious.

New management, miss the old but still the same feelings. Delicious!! Please get reservations before you go! Best to go with a party of 4 or more. Its a cook your own meat style BBQ. Yum!

No frills Japanese grill. Ordered 6 types of meat, all were amazing. Will definitely return.

A yakiniku restaurant that requires reservations and offers a grill-your-own style that is familiar to Japanese people.The liver sashimi and yukhoe here are the best! Of course, there are many delicious foods such as yakiniku, kimchi, cold noodles, etc.This is a Japanese-style barbecue restaurant.The liver sashimi and yukke are excellent. Of course, the yakiniku and kimchi are also delicious. The staff is also very nice.Dont forget to make a reservation if you go there!

Yakiniku is delicious, but the liver sashimi here is exquisite. Even at 71 years old, I ate three servings with ease. I wanted to go there again while I was in Los Angeles, but unfortunately I couldnt go due to poor health. I cant eat liver sashimi or yukhoe in Japan, so I went all the way to Korea, but I think Ill be able to eat roast pork from now on as well. I can play poker. Owner, I will definitely go again!
