Sen Dai Sushi in Milpitas

Got the Saba bento and tempura2.5-3 stars. Average place. Definitely better places out there for the same price. The food was bland but portions were more vs other places.And they charge $1 for tea!?

Massive portions of pretty solid quality sushi. Come here for value ~ My favorites: Dragon + Cherry blossom rolls! Can be a bit of a wait during peak hours. Also parking lot is small, might need to do street parking when full.

At first I was disappointed when I saw this place is small and not all that very pretty. But I have to say that sushi were sooooo good, that I everything else didn’t matter . Great quality! Definitely going to comeback or order online.

It’s a fairly non descript place in a little strip mall, but they are extremely popular. They have an entire army working in take out orders. And if you don’t get there right when they open for dinner, be prepared to wait.The menu selection is pretty big with both sushi and cooked options. Hamachi Kama is a nice sized piece of fish. Unfortunately a little dry in parts. Tempura nicely fine though nothing special other than the pieces are large. Las Vegas roll tasted great but I was not expecting it to be two inches in diameter. Rolls are usually an inch or so making them but size. So the Las Vegas fell apart eating it. California roll was a good, solid version. Service was really fast. They want to move people through without delay.

My favorite sushi place. I either dine in or take out at least once a month. Foods always come out fresh and fast. Parking is limited though.My sushi rolls might look small bc I get them light on rice.

Brilliant Sushi!Fast and friendly service - the amount of staff:size of the restaurant shows they are serious about making everything fresh and keeping service speedy.The food is fantastic, and the menu vast!I would recommend the karaage chucken appetiser for the table - the chicken is so tender and tastes amazing. It’s quite a large serving also so not for one.The sashimi is so fresh - it was a real joy.I will definitely be returning!

The food here has always left the best impression on me . The place is small and the wait time is high, but the hospitality of the energetic staff will make up for what you are missing. If you are new to Sen Dai, I recommend, the Kawasaki roll.The food was a great pre-pademic. I dont know what magic they did its even better now .Must try!

Theres no competition. They have the best sushi in the entire bay area. The portions are insane very good value.

Been here many many times and my family and I always enjoyed this place!The ingredients always fresh, the service always nice, the food always tasty and beer always cold!Parking can be an issue because it located in a very small shopping complex. So we like to be here early if possible before the crow.During the pandemic there take out business also booming, but seats in dining always taste better!

THE BEST SUSHI in Bay Area! Im customer since 5 years ago. I drive 1 hour from San Jose and back just to eat this incredible, well-made, delicious, and huge sushi! My mouth is watering 😋 just writing about this! Please continue making this amazing sushi!
