Food is pretty good I really like their salmon tacos and their chicken crispy sandwich👌 drinks are really good love their cocktails!!! Been here for brunch once and dinner a couple times. Service is okay, kinda lag on waiting certain tables but it does get pretty busey. I love the atmosphere, my favorite area to eat is in the back patio so chill vibes✌️

The back patio is like sitting in my own back yard. It was very inviting and peaceful. It is also wheelchair accessible. The nachos were delicious. I also ordered the steakhouse tacos. I would rate the tacos a 10/10, I would order them again.

Went here for the first time today and the food I ordered was fantastic. They have a few tables inside and bar seating, but the outdoor seating in the back is quite nice. They don’t have the largest menu, but they do wonderfully with their offerings. I definitely recommend the sliders and fish tacos. I look forward to my next visit and trying some new things.

Great place! Both indoor and outdoor seating. Classic menu items for great prices . A dinner for two with tip came out to $45! Fast service, but they were very busy and a bit understaffed. Would recommend if your in the area and need a quick bite and good food.

Excellent weekend brunch experience, a bit on the pricey side but food quality is great. Went with their burrito, friend went with two tacos (subbed jackfruit for vegan purposes) and an order of fries.They have cold beer on tap which was delicious; would like to try their happy hour (3-6pm on weekdays) next!

First of all, the back patio is opened and inviting, the staff is top notch and friendly, but the food is the main star here. We ordered sliders, 6 different types of tacos, all very, very good btw, ceviche and drinks. We will definitely come here again!!

Situated in Old Town Monrovia across from the theaters this little eclectic find is an awesome taco bar! Come for happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and enjoy Tacos, Nachos and other Spanish dishes at happy hour pricing. Margaritas with Tajin on the rim come Classic, Mango, Strawberry or Pomegranate. All are very refreshing. The Street Tacos are full of flavor and just the right amount of nourishment.Happy Hour menu also includes a Kobe Slider with Pepper-Jack, Queso and Chorizo. A Short-Rib Quesadilla, Ceviche Tostada or a Tempura Shrimp Taco. Are you hungry yet? Wow! Where have you been all of my life, Sena?! I had the carnitas tacos and she had the salmon and they were both fantastic! They have a small bar space but a mighty drink menu and it is quite ecelectic with Japanese whiskey, Mexican IPAs, Palomas, and of course, tequila. The atmosphere is simple but the food and drinks are not. We made a reservation by phone, but they seemed confused by that when we tried to check in, but no matter we got a table (Friday at 5), but is soon filled up. Well be back 💯!

This review is solely based on the food. Ordered a burger based on the description it sounded delicious but when it came out it had to be the blandest burger Ive ever had. No salt or pepper or any seasoning on the patty. The only thing recognizable was the cheese, for $18 I expected more. Tacos were okay but expected more for the price. This is the type of restaurant for nice ambiance and drinks only, nothing else. Service was great so not putting the servers down.

The steak tacos were delicious, but the portion size is small. Came here on a Tuesday, was disappointed that they dont offer Taco Tuesday all day, its starts at 3pm. Margaritas were kiddie size and just average, and $10 each. $16 for two street tacos and about 5 chips. Lunch came to $65 for 4 street size tacos and 3 average margaritas.

Kenny and Andy are amazing! They both are so helpful and work very hard for this restaurant. The food here is also very good. We usually get the steak nachos, breakfast burrito and Cobb salad. I have been coming to Sena for almost 10 years and unfortunately, the one thing I have noticed over the recent years is that they seem to be pretty under staffed. There definitely needs to be more help in the bar and outside area to improve the quality of service and bring the restaurant back to what it once was.

So much potential - Wasted PotentialWhen you come to spend your money here, you will NOT be greeted with a smile. Every hostess walks around with no smile at all. Their facial expressions look exactly like those super stuck-up runway models. I dont know if management trained them to do it, but that is NOT the way to greet guests.Once you are seated, you will notice the well designedspace. Their back patio area is really a perfect spot to sit and enjoy delicious food and drink. Unfortunately, the service is really horrible and ruins the whole experience.There are a few decent servers. If you get seated atEdgars table, you might as well call Uber eats and BYOB. He is the worst.Myrtle has plenty of offerings where you will be treatedlike they are happy youre there. Sena is no such place. Cross this one off your list.

The food is always so delicious but service sometimes lacks. The servers are always incredibly nice but they completely forgot one of our drinks and water this last time. There is always one small thing that seems to go wrong when we eat there. The food is what keeps us going back. We love their happy hour menu with super delicious ceviche, fish and shrimp tacos, and nachos.

Great spicy bean dip!! Tacos even on happy hour are expensive. While the price is decent for the area, you can find similar Mexican places for less.Our service was fantastic and its a pretty clean place. Seats could use a wash or cover, but if you dont care for such things, you will enjoy it just fine.Even though they serve alcohol, the place is fairly family friendly and the servers seem great with kids.

That being said, what they make is excellent and the price is great. $3 mimosas are a great deal and a good pour. On weekdays look for the happy hour specials. The 2 stars is for the food. The rest of my experience was terrible. Second time here to give them another chance, but they failed. Customer service is terrible. My order was missing an item when I came to pick it up. And my burger was incorrectly made as I had specific instructions for it. The hostess even repeated my order over the phone but half the order was wrong when I arrived. Was not greeted by anyone so I had to find my food myself. I had to re-place my order for the missing item with the bartender and then wait another 20 minutes for it. No one informed me my second order was ready until I asked, again. It was just sitting on the counter getting cold, which by now, the rest of my food was. I do not recommend.

Went here for a friends birthday brunch. Honestly the prices were very reasonable and the drinks are cheap. The vibe is really nice here. Service was okay but we had a large party. Really really need to work on there hospitality. Almost felt as though the gal who served us didnt want to be there, which is a shame. We are in a time where businesses are shutting down. I understand the company has certain policies, but when you address people do it with respect and professionalism.On a good note I will say the food is delicious so I will probably be back, but I would hope that the service would be #1 more accommodating #2 a little more joyful. Food and service were only ok. They have good happy hour specials, but I wasnt as impressed with them as I have been in the past. The bartender was very attentive at first, but when they got busy, he didnt come over again, so I instead I put in a final order from a passing host/waitress and asked for the check. I asked a second time for the check while waiting for my final food order. This final order was take out, but was first delivered for dine in, then when they fixed that, the take out was missing a meal, and I had to ask for my third meal, that I had been billed for accurately in order to finally leave... All 3 waitresses were nice and somewhat apologetic, but they didnt seem to really understand what my order was supposed to be our why things kept being wrong.

We are fairly new Monrovia residents and in the process of trying our local restaurants to determine our favorites, but we will definitely mark this one off our list. We had salmon and carnitas tacos that were just flavorless. The meat was even tough. The service was terrible. We had to get up and find someone to ask for refills on our beers and by the rime they finally returned we were finished eating. Going out for dinner is a real treat for us and we were really disappointed.

Please read: So I heard a lot about this place from a trusted source, figured ok. My wife and I get seated and the place is less than busy; it was a Tuesday. Nobody greeted us for approx. 5-8 minutes. A guy comes up doesnt say a word and plops guac & chips on the table. 2 stars because hostess was able to accommodate our large party. But thats where it ends. Appetizers lacking in flavor and presentation. Main meal arrived warm at best, as did the beer. Waiter had too many tables to handle but was nice. If youre there for beer and music good, if your there for good food go someplace else. And dont bother going potty. (Youll probably choose the Short Rib...)Happy hour 4-7 means really good prices for astounding prices.Dont forget to tip well.The Sweet Potato Fries were disappointing, soggy, wilted. When we got there it was a 25minute wait for two people. The workers were nice just understandably overwhelmed. Thought it was crazy to wait almost 30minutes for tacos.......but they tacos were amazing. Worth the crazy no parking available situation and the longish wait. Def try this place out. This place is awesome.I live two blocks away and love to eat here about twice a week. Their Sena burger is delightful if you are a fan of cream cheese and their spicy slaw is very tasty.Bar area is a little small without enough TVs for sports viewing but there is a great outdoor seating area in the back.Try the very reasonably priced brunch entrees and drinks on the weekends.The staff is always very nice.

We enjoy the back patio and Sena and the staff is usually friendly and attentive. Sena is a must for happy hour and has tasteful margaritas and sangria. The food is slightly over priced for the size and taste but is worth it during happy hour. We have brought s few sets of friends to Sena and everyone seems to like it similarly.

I have never been to a bar that is so unprofessional. This place is so bad I do not think bar rescue can even say this place. This bar does not belong in this prime location. Fruit Flies are unacceptable in any bar or restaurant. The owner should be embarrassed of how his or her bar is being run into the ground. I was here on St Patricks day and only stayed for a few minutes. Today I did not even order because I was so disgusted.

This place is consistently amazing. Try their Tacos Del Mar and cucumber jalapeño margarita! They are available on Uber Eats, but it’s such a nice little spot with a huge patio and fire pits on the tables when it’s cold, that if you can make it it’s really best to enjoy the friendly staff and evening ambiance in person.

My friend and I came for happy hour yesterday. Lets just say, I cant wait to come back! I thought it was okay but probably will not get it again because there are so many better options. The Loaded Nachos were good but, I did not like the Short Rib. It was a bit too chewy due to the carnitas/pulled pork-like texture. I was picturing it to be like korean short ribs. The White and Red Sangria were delicious! Happy Hour is from 4PM-7PM EVERY DAY so make sure to stop by! You wont regret it! :)

This place has such a convenient location! :) It has a small seating area and bar in the front where you walk in, but then you can walk down the hallway and theres a nice covered patio area in the back.We started off our lunch with two glasses of their red wine sangria, which was fruity and quite good. I normally prefer white wine to red but since Crystal ordered this one I followed suit.. and Im glad I did! Then it was time to order tacos...(Esther) SHORT RIB TACOS: Braised Beef with Caramelized Onion, Fontina, Avocado, Cilantro, & Pepper Crema. Two tacos with chips/salsa and roasted yellow pepper.-- This was pretty good. They really piled everything on so it was a bit of a challenge to eat neatly but I managed it ;) The toppings paired with the braised beef well. I also enjoyed eating the tacos with the complimentary chips and salsa.(Crystal) ONE SHORT RIB TACO + ONE PESCADO TACO: Beer Battered White Fish, Pepper Jack, Avocado, Cilantro, Slaw, Red Onion, & Crema-- Crystals so smart--she was deciding between the Short Rib tacos and the Pescado ones and ended up just getting one of each! I think its cool that the restaurant will do that for you. Im not a fan of fish so I was happy with my two short rib tacos, but she really liked getting both of them.The food is a little pricey for me but this place is definitely a great option for the area. The service was great here as well. I would love to come back here during their Happy Hour.

The worst service Ive ever experienced. Me and a friend walked into SENA after hanging out at Londons and jokingly playing around with my friend tapped his face due to a conversation we were having outside the establishment. The staff member at SENA saw me slap my friend in the face and decide that I was too intoxicated to have a beer. Even after speaking with the staff member and having my friend tell her it was just a joke and nothing was meant by it she still continued to act as though I was too intoxicated. I asked her first name, so that I could contact the management about her and she refused to give me it. I never asked for her full name or for her last name. I simply asked just her first name so that I could have the right to complain and when I asked she stated, I have the right to refuse service to you. Sure, thats fine but legally, you must give me your first name so that I can have the right to COMPLAIN about the service given. She refused. This happened at I want too say 1:00 am on 3/4/2018. Im not sure who this staff member is but she is completely unprofessional and if she would like to threaten the customers based off the fact they asked for her first name then I feel she has no place in the costumer service field.

This place is bad news... My friends and I came in last night and totally got bacteria infestation from this places drinks. Its disgusting here. We called to speak with the manager/owner to let them know but the owner, Damon got all anal about things and started defending his bar saying that they follow state and federal guidelines. One would have to think if this place follows all these guidelines that our party of 7 wouldnt have gotten E. coli and salmonella infections. I had a friend that woke up in the middle of the night puking blood and in the morning when he woke up, he had rashes all over his eyes.... Bottom line, this place needs to be shut down for a good cleaning, doesnt matter if their last health inspection grade was a 98% or not... Theres still that 2% that couldve caused the contamination. This place gives a bad name to Monrovia. Stay away if you prefer not to puke blood, get rashes and radiate heat all throughout the night.
