I enjoy the celebration of Randys retirement since he started working here in 1993 and I hope hell enjoy his next journey on his retirement with my uncle David.

This Branches church hosted in this building should be called the church of jerks! Every Sunday they run crazy loud speakers outside that destroy the peace and quiet of the park. No one minds the little church groups or rehab groups or family events hosing small meetings in the park. Those groups use little battery type PA speakers you cant hear from more than 50 feet away. This Branches church runs thousands of watts outside the building like theyre running some illegal program to indoctrinate the public. It may as well be some militant islam group or some other kind of cult that runs loudspeakers on a tower to force the public into defacto participation with their specific religion. The city needs to either force these people out of that building or demand that ALL their noise be kept inside...no open windows or doors, no outside speakers etc... Also, because everyone could hear them we now know they plan on abusing the library parking as extra space for their church. This isnt okay by any standards of civility. The library opens at noon on sunday. No church should be allowed to clog up public library parking, especially this group of untalented noisy jerks who misrepresent an entire system of faith. Theres nothing in the Bible that says its okay to force your religion down peoples throat by blaring your sound system over an entire city park. At least Jesus himself took large groups of people to remote spaces to speak to them so it didnt disrupt others. This is the kind of uncivilized cult members that give Christianity a bad name.

I go to use the beautiful gym Hoag Hospital put in here. Impressive new equipment in a spotless atmosphere make this gym and its available classes and trainers a good place for seniors to stay in shape or like me get back in shape.
