I ordered plain gingerbread men shape cookies and a gingerbread house kit. I got the order few days before Thanksgiving day. The cookies plain are delicious, and the gingerbread house my family put it together after the Thanksgiving meal today. It was such a treat to have family time together to build the gingerbread house and have everything provided in the kit. We place the gingerbread house in the center of our dinning room table and will use it as a decoration for Christmas Day.Thank you Sensitive Sweets Bakery for helping us build our family memories.

Just a quick update on my previous review:I am officially married, and my wedding cake was outstanding! I opted for a simple cake and added my own topper/flowers. My family of gluten and dairy consumers devoured it! Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was. Sensitive Sweets, once again, made my day ♥️I am allergic to gluten and dairy, which usually means dessert is not an option for me unless I make it myself. Sensitive Sweets has been a godsend. The staff is always friendly and the desserts are INCREDIBLE. My friends and family cant even tell their desserts are allergen-free.My fiance and I are in the process of ordering our wedding cake from Sensitive Sweets. Ill be sure to update my review and share photos once it is complete. I know itll be amazing ♥️

10/10 the cake was amazing and what’s better is my 1 year old got to enjoy his smash cake without me worrying if he was going to be affected by allergens in the ingredients! As long as I live in California I will make the drive every year to pickup my sons birthday cake here! So thankful I got his cake here and the crew was so kind and extra careful about cross contamination!

As someone with a dietary sensitivity to many foods, my husband was unable to eat the wedding cake we had picked out for all of our guests to enjoy. So we decided to also get a grooms cake so he could enjoy some tasty dessert too! Fortunately, Sensitive Sweets had our backs. They were able to accommodate his needs with this low-FODMAP cake. We had a video game theme to our wedding, so he asked them to design it with a Legend of Zelda theme. It both looked and tasted amazing! Weve gone back many times for their other tasty treats.

I needed custom Harry Potter cookies for a friends birthday that were GF, dairy free, egg free, and nut free. Let’s all just take a moment to admire the artistry of these cookies!! I am so so happy with my order, I will be back. I live in PA so the cookies were shipped to me. I was a little nervous that they wouldn’t make it in one piece but they absolutely did!! I have a kid who has many food sensitivities. It’s honestly sad that you can’t just go to a store and and find gluten free/egg free/dairy free gingerbread houses. I assume the idea of “gluten free” hasn’t made it’s way to the holidays. However, I asked around and someone had suggested Sensitive Sweets. I don’t live in California, but I loved that some of their items are offered with shipping! I also ordered in December thinking it would take forever to get here, but the gingerbread house kits I ordered arrived a lot sooner than I had thought!Thank you Sensitive Sweets for offering a gingerbread house so that my son can experience building a house instead of having to just “sit on the side” while other kids get to make one.The kit came with the house, the frosting ingredients pre packed (very easy to mix the frosting and follow the directions), and a few small essentials (trees, snowman, candy cane, etc. plastic pieces for the home)! The directions came with the kit as well to help us build it. We all loved it and enjoyed it together as a family.I will definitely order from here again!

We had a special trip to Disneyland for my wife’s 40th birthday and I used Sensitive Sweets, because my son has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy.Not only was the cake very tasty, it was also very beautiful and customized perfectly…not to mention safe for everyone!Highly recommend!

I cannot eat dairy, and was nervous that for my wedding day I would just not be eating my own cake. However, we found sensitive sweets and it was life changing! They made us the most incredible wedding cake, and a bunch of mini cupcakes for our guest. Everyone LOVED it. No one would have even guessed that it was vegan. Im allergic to dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, and many other foods due to a medical condition. We were searching if there was any way for me to have a wedding cake, and it was unbelievable to find that at Sensitive Sweets it wouldnt even require any substitutions or special instructions!We started by ordering a tasting box, and it was my first time trying almost all of those flavors. We decided to go with the midnight chocolate cake (dark chocolate and chocolate chips) with vanilla filling and mocha frosting. Mocha. Is. Amazing.We picked the cherry blossom design and it was stunning! We got so many compliments on the design and flavor, people who didnt have any dietary restrictions were shocked it wasnt a normal cake. It was literally the most delicious thing Ive ever had!

Im going to be honest, I was pretty disappointed by this cake. I knew it would be small, but I paid about $35 for a 4x4 cake for my birthday that I wouldnt purchase again. The consistency was odd and the flavors were muted at best. The texture seemed like it was more chunky fruit leather than cake. Its on me because Im just vegan and was looking for a birthday treat without eggs or dairy and I should have gone to a place that used other ingredients, but I wouldnt recommend this place for a vegan cake.

Our wedding cake was amazing and tasted delicious! The colors matched perfectly and the design went so well with our theme we couldn’t have been happier! This is one of the rare places where we can eat a tasty treat that is free of dairy, free of gluten, free of soy, free of eggs, and free of nuts. Mel made it so much appealing, pretty, and SO DELICIOUS!!! moreover, her baked goods are easy to digest too, which make them even better.When you think about the number of times we have to decline going to a bakery or to a restaurant just because of our food intolerances and allergies... well, sometimes we just decide to drive the 50+ minutes down the road just to eat some tasty, beautiful, delicious treats, knowing that we can pick absolutely anything she offers, without having to ask to read the label!!Were so happy that she survived the 2020 lockdown!!!!!Oh!! And she sends some of her baked goods by postmail as well (not her beautifully decorated cakes, of course, but the breads, and the cookies and brownies, yes!).2nd oh!! Absolute best bakery to order from if you have multiple food allergies - my 3 year old is allergic to wheat, eggs, dairy, and nuts (along with a few other allergies)and this is the ONLY bakery I trust. We order from here to ship all the way to Boston for special occasions. So thankful to have this bakery exist. We’re in town visiting only for a week and have stopped by 3x already to grab goodies for my daughter. Staff is incredibly sweet and kind every time we make an in person visit. This holiday season the staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure we received a rush order SHIPPED to us in time for a Christmas party. Come here if you really need a dessert fix while dealing with allergies or celiac/gluten intolerance, have a special occasion for a customized dessert, or like very sweet desserts.I -do not- like very sugary frostings or desserts. I got a few cookies and knew they would be sugarbombs, but I had a craving, so whatever. Their cookies had a gummy texture, as if they needed to be baked more. The apricot jam in the thumbprint cookie had almost no flavour, it did have a hint, but my tastebuds were dulled by all the sugar.I got the crown jewel, in my eyes, the lemon raspberry swirl. The lemon cake was great! Soft, it rolled, and the flavour was actually really enjoyable. The filling and frosting on top was very disappointing and sickly sweet. I scraped it off along with the raspberry filling. My favourite raspberry element to the spiral were the actual raspberries on top...The experience is great, though. A place where you can have anything you want and has such wide variety! It is so joyous and freeing after having your diet has been limited severely by a chronic illness... It was worth the $17, just not in the flavour category.

I just wanted to take a moment to say this is THE BEST allergy sensitive bakery I have ever been to. My daughter cant eat gluten or dairy. She always feels so deprived and is sad to miss out on the sweets that her brothers and friends get but when she gets to sensitive sweets her eyes glow with excitement. And normally my other kids hate my daughters allergy foods but sensitive sweets is the exception. Their treats taste DELICIOUS. You would never know they were allergy sensitive. And they have so much variety. Sensitive sweets deserves MORE than 5 stars!

Just discovered Sensitive Sweets. I bought a loaf of white bread, a sugar cookie, and a few vanilla cake pops. Each was delicious so I dont understand the few negative reviews. I did have to nuke the sugar cookie a little so it wasnt hard but after it tasted delicious. The white bread wasnt dense like the gf bread at the store. Im so happy I found this store and grateful it exists. I hope it NEVER closes.

Hey It’s 2018 PLEASEEE STOP making GF stuff that tastes like the cardboard box it came out of...it’s like they didn’t even taste the products before selling....Been hopeful in trying this place randomly for years and it keeps getting worse??. I actually threw out their holiday platter after trying a bite of each. This place has zero customer service skills. I placed a shipment order that never got delivered to the recipient for her birthday. When I requested a refund, Sensitive Sweets’ response is that they don’t issue refunds for lost or missing packages, but yet they will issue a store credit to anyone who claims to not like the taste of their products. I have never dealt with a business such as this one that doesn’t understand the importance of providing top tier customer service. One star is actually a higher review than I would give due to my experience.

They were all very tasteless and the frosting was basically melted because it’s so warm in their store. I took on bite of each item and then threw them away. Definitely wouldn’t come back here.

We LOVE Sensitive Sweets so much! Our 3 year old has several food allergies so we were over the moon to find this gem of a bakery. The service is always wonderful, the owner has helped me design several cakes and they always come out better than I could dream up! We always get so many comments from our party guest on how darling they are. They taste great too! My husband and myself do not have food allergy’s and we always choose Sensitive Sweets over any other bakery or treat. The banana chocolate chip cupcakes are seriously to die for! Our absolute favorite treat! I also love it that they make easy pops, which are cake in a little push pop that can be put in the freezer. I have been going to Sensitive Sweets for almost 6 years because my daughter is very allergic to dairy, egg, wheat, nuts and flax seed. Before coming here I tried to bake her treats myself but ended up with dense and grainy desserts. I love that I can go to Sensitive Sweets whenever my daughter has a school party or friends birthday and theres always something delicious and special for her to have. The service was great. I ordered my baby 1year birthday cake here. For begin Gluten-free its not the most moist cake. But they got the decoration and style that I wanted for my daughters first birthday down without costing me an arm and leg. some cake places charge almost wedding prices for a 2 tier small birthday cake. The gingerbread house was a huge hit with the family I ordered it for as a Christmas gift! They said that the house came in perfect condition and their children enjoyed decorating it with the items included. Its so yummy that they couldnt even wait a day to start munching on it! Interesting take on baked goods. The decorations are on point, but the flavor, not so much. The sugar cookie was super chewy, gummy-like, the chocolate cake part of the cake pop and push-pop were gooey, and the icing was uber sweet. The banana bread was moist, but diverts from the traditional bread-like texture. Ill have to go back and try it again. Everything looks delectable, and I want to love it. Not a lot of allergy-free bakeries out there, so the three stars goes to that and the lovely baker

This allergy free bakery is amazing. The sweets actually taste GOOD. And there are cake mixes and pancake mixes too. (I havent tried mine yet). My favorite has actually been the lemon easy cake - the one you can push up. I also liked the tuxedo one. My kids love the sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies. Thank you so much for the awesome treats. Wish you had an egg-free lemon bar (since I LOVE lemon bars but allergic to egg) - but thats the ONLY treat I cant eat there. I ordered the Birthday Brownie and Cookie Set as as a birthday present to a family member I am not able to see right now. It is difficult to find desserts that taste great without dairy, and the receiver said that Sensitive Sweets knocked it out of the park. The shipping also came EARLY (which was much appreciated with all of the delayed packages right now.) Sensitive Sweets allowed me to celebrate a birthday with someone from far away who cant eat dairy, nuts, and soy. Will definitely be ordering again!

She will be turning 1 in july and is severely allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts/treenuts . Although Im for anyone going into their own business to provide customers who have allergies sweet treats, this bakery is not it. I ordered the chocolate covered treats & when they arrived the chocolate was melted & when I tasted one it had a funny taste to it. I think the picture looked better. The dinner rolls which she told me how great they were, were very dry & stale. The sugar cookie & chocolate chip cookie were very dry as well & again had that funny taste to them. Also when I was looking at the ingredients theres artificial flavors & a few other chemical ingredients in them. Perhaps thats why they had that peculiar taste to them. Anyway, since they have quite a few bakeries that are allergy free online I think Ill try one of those instead.

My husband and I were visiting southern California and stumbled across this bakery while looking for places I could eat online. I have celiacs and many other allergies. I placed an order over the phone and was quite impressed upon arriving at the bakery to pick it up. The bakery was super cute and very clean. I had my first donut and fresh piece of bread in over 15 years! I ordered the white bread, banana breads, donut holes, brownies, cookies, etc. They all tasted absolutely wonderful! I so wish I lived closer to this bakery! Fortunately, you can place orders online and have it shipped! Other allergy friendly baked goods dont even compare to these. The owner is wonderful and these treats are always a part of any celebration and sometimes just a random Tuesday afternoon.The specialty holiday treats are great too. I purchased the vanilla cupcake with caramel frosting, the pumpkin spice donut hole, and a baked doughnut with white icing and colored sprinkles. The vanilla cupcake was the best out of the three - the cake had decent texture, moist not dry. Not much vanilla flavor. it was not sweet, which was good because the icing was very sweet and had good flavor. The pumpkin spice donut hole was a muffin, not a donut hole. The texture was dense and dry like a muffin. It was tasty - good balance of spices but there was a bitter aftertaste that I believe was too much baking soda (baking powder?). The baked donut tasted similar to the cupcake but had the bitter after taste that the donut hole did. The icing was not good - tasted like watered down powdered sugar. All in all, not the worst sensitive treats Ive head, but definitely not the best...I think most folks can bake better treats than these, but if youre hankering to bite into something with decent texture, these will do the trick.

I was very disappointed when I tried this place. Unfortunately I had already purchased a few things. First, not all things were vegan. The lemon bars had egg and the marshmallow cupcakes did not use vegan marshmallows. I wouldve rather supported an entirely vegan place, but I had already stared my order. The garlic biscuits were disturbingly sweet. The frosting on the cupcakes was like a hard lump. The remedy bar was mushy in the middle. Ive been to allergen-free bakeries before and theyve been decent to good, but I really dont recommend this one. Perfect bakery for families who deal with multiple food allergies. This bakery is all TOP 8 allergen free and can even do no artificial colors. We were able to order a delicious cake for my daughters 4th birthday which needed to be egg free, dairy free and Gluten Free. It was so nice to be able to order something for her that looked pretty and tasted great. Also so fun to drop in here and pick up something from the case like a brownie or cupcake, and they even have hot dog buns and premixed pancake and cake mixes which are safe as well and have come out well at home. They walked us through every detail of what we could do in a concise and thorough manner and we were able to customize every last detail to turn a regular cake (which was all we could afford) into something pretty fancy that suited the occasion. Ive worked in a bakery before and Ive worked with gluten free and vegan foods. It may just have been the remedy bar that I got but it tasted very bland and heavy. The flavors resembled FLAT and milktoast grains that were non-differential from the cookie to the brownie. I found myself wishing that I could find something redeeming about I as I incessantly chomped at its gum-like consistency. It also seemed a bit undercooked but this neither added nor detracted from the already poor experience. I have had much better and would hope for the price they are selling their product at that they would have better tasting options or figure how to accomplish that.

I have been gluten free for 7 years and we all know its hard to find a good gluten free place. I ordered 3 doughnuts, 2 cookies and 2 bread rolls. First i was surprised when the total was over $20. Then i tried a doughnut and there was nothing about it that was a doughnut, its consistency was that of a muffin, very dense and moist, almost spongy. It was definitely baked and not fried. I dont write reviews but felt the need to warn all my fellow celiacs that this place could be the worst gf treats I have ever tried. The tart they sold me was literally raw dough underneath, it looked either uncooked or like it sat in its own juices for 4 days. Then I brought it up to the counter to show the ladies they went eeew I agreed. They offered me anything in the case to replace it, but after trying their cupcake and biscuits I told them I didnt want anything else because their other stuff was gross. Elaborating on my horrible service from the owner Melanie.. I was told although I paid $54 for my package, UPS has insurance for up to $50. Melanie chuckled when I asked why I was not getting a full refund, oh the $4?, lol. I dont know. I asked how long would I have to wait to get my refund, again I dont know... I informed her my mom works for the post office (not ups) and there were no discrepancies or disruptions with her mailing system. She replied well why dont you ask your mom where the package is?... Melanie, you are belittling and insensitive (despite your clever company name). You couldve been a nice and decent person to resend the items or provide the refund. I just wanted to thank you and your team for the wonderful experience we had with our granddaughter this weekend. She is highly allergic to eggs (anaphylactic reaction) and while for years we have been trying to come up with recipes for her. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful with a recipe for a gingerbread house for her. I was so excited to find your website and find your gingerbread house was egg free. She told all her young friends and teacher about getting a gingerbread house this past week and how her house was coming all the way from California. It was delivered completely intact. Didnt know they have been here for 7 years...!! So good, moist and tasty!! My favorite is banana chocolate chips so far. so glad that I found it!There are allergy-friendly cupcakes and cookies. The mall itself is small and looks like a Mexican bakery? It feels like I think, but when I went inside, it was a cute cupcake shop. Not too sweet, highly recommended
