Quesatacos were decent, pretty good, tasty ! The customer service, in the other hand wasn’t as pleasant. They got our order wrong, … and after we got our correct order, and our food was brought to our table they still forgot to bring us the “ consomé “, when we went to tell the cash register they said we were lying that we didn’t pay for it and asked to see our receipt. Receipt was shown and all he said was oh yeah, here you go . After that the entire time we were eating our food the employees kept starring at us as if we did something wrong.
I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. I got the Birria fries and my boyfriend got the Plato de Birria. The tortillas and flans are handmade.
The only knock on this place is the distance between the location and my home. Other than that everything was terrific. The birria tacos dorados where extremely satisfying to the taste buds. The consomé was perfect, and the horchata was delightful to wash it all down.
First time trying this place. Friendly staff, great service and I couldn’t decide what to get, so I got a hard shell taco, soft shell taco and a mulita. It was bomb. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was like any other place however not authentic like Mexican food. Service was bad took 10 min to get me my drinks. And took a lot of time to get me my food. However the people were kind apart from being in there own world and distracted

A friend recommended this place and I have to say it was good. I tried several items and they all had a clean presentation. The only issue that made me want to leave a bit quicker is that the AC wasnt on so it was a bit warm but overall it was okay.

Señor Birria, tucked in a little corner in the city of Downey, specialty doesnt need to be mention Hense the name. the Soft taco does come in a freshly hand made tortilla, while their hard shell taco comes in a double deep fried tortilla packed with meat. They also do have Aguas frescas, but I opted for a Stella ortoise 🍺. Their red sauce does come with a kick which is great because I love spicy food. The birria here is absolutely delicious! It is authentic and tastes just like you would get it in Mexico. Bien sabrosa! I had the mulitas, and I was impressed. Will definitely come again!

Perfect hole in the wall to get your birria fix. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes great. I ordered the plate which comes with meat, rice, beans, and three tortillas. Theres enough meat to fill six or seven large helpings, so I would recommend buying extra tortillas and it should be enough food for two people.
Stopped by on our way from LAX to palm springs, we were not disappointed! We ordered the birria tacos, and the birria dorado tacos! So good! We actually had time to make a stop on our way back to LAX, so we hit this place up again, glad we did!

So Im conflicted because the bierria was great but the rice was kinda gross and the frijoles were mediocre. I ordered the bierria plate and my sister got the bierria torta. The torta was amazing and delicious, no complaints. But the sides on the bierria plate were gross. The tortillas were tasty to give them credit.

I ordered because Ive been hearing great things about the birria here but it was definitely not worth the hype. Everything was flavorless and there are a ton of places with better food for better prices. Wouldnt recommend if youve ever had actual good Mexican food youll probably be disappointed.

So we found this place in the beginning of the year and quickly became our favorite spot for birria. I know its getting very popular now are getting long line, So people please be patient the food is delicious 😋. They are trying to keep up with the HUGE amount of customers now. Senor Birria is a great place to get a quick bite to eat, their tacos are made with hand made tortillas, their salsa is spicy and full of flavor. They have a outside dining area. On Tuesdays they have 1 dollar tacos, I highly recommend this place

The tacos de birria are some of the best in socal. They also have the birria with Ramen which was surprisingly delicious. Its a little tough to find because its in a corner of a strip mall but its worth the effort. Will definitely be returning. Beware of the hot sauce, its literally fire in your mouth.
Their Tacos Dorados are amazing! Their Torta was delicious too, however it felt a little small for the price. Still, i’ve came like 3-4 times and its never really been that packed. Food is always ready somewhat quickUpdate: Went again and the Torta was a lot more packed with meat and ingredients this time around, I don’t know why it was different last time. I dont get the hype. Ordered three different items, thesuper soggy birria torta, birria fries and the bland quesadilla. They were all flavorless, I tried putting a bunch of lemon and salsa but it was to flavorless to be saved. If you think theyre birria is flavorful you havent had True delicious birria before. Try a different birria spot and youll agree with me.
Really good. Tacos have great flavor and bite! The salsa that comes with it is very tasty. Smokey and spiciness blends well with flavors of the meat. I will definitely be back.

Its ok. Not the best birria Ive had. Its good tho. Just not the best and for those prices I expected for the portions to be like other birria places Ive been in with the same prices. Dont like that they put the condiments on it and dont offer more on the side when I asked for some. They put very little for my taste. But I still give it a ok rating.
Found out about this place via Instagram and told my best friend we should try it out. The birria is so good and they have a great menu. Got a plate, which comes with beans, rice, and birria and got a sope. Customer service was great and the cashier made sure to recommend their most popular item.

Their Taco Dorados and Mulita are bomb. The consume is perfect. Everything was delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was happy that they had an outside eating area otherwise it would have been messy to eat in the car.

Tried this place with some coworkers and it was so tasty! We have another birria place about the same distance from work but are now happy to have two really tasty options now.
This is the place to go for birria, if you blink you will miss it but you will be doing yourself a disservice it’s in a little strip mall in the corner, this is our go to place on fridays which we now call Senor Birria friday in our house, we love the Keto tacos and the birria fries are amazing pretty much anything you order here is delicious . The meat is tender and juicy, don’t forget the consommé !
First time visiting this place for lunch. Ordered a crispy taco and a quesadilla with some consomme. Let me tell you that the food was sooo flavorful and very tasty. I am looking forward to trying out more of their menu items. So delicious!
You must order the mulitas and the birria nachos! Really good taste and flavor. My biggest fear was the unpleasant “goat flavor” that sometimes birria has (I’ve eaten birria in Guadalajara) but luckily this wasn’t the case, fresh meat for sure! My only recommendation is to put a little bit more “birria juice” to the nachos/chilaquiles but only because I like juicy over crunchy.

This place makes hand made yellow corn tortillas. That blends extremely well with the birria and consome. Place is busy but the people are still kind. This place is better than Reds for sure hands down .

2023-11-15 02:15:06Birria Taco Tuesday. Six of these soft tacos are $7.43 because of card fee. Parking could be tough to find since it does get busy on Tuesdays. Spanish music playing in the background. Not a lot of seating, but tables are clean. Birria is tender and filling. Their salsa has a spice kick, but it dies down with some water. Right amount of consommé on the tacos. Onions and cilantro add a nice refreshing bite to it.

I can’t have anything in my system or I’ll be spastic at my booth tomorrow.. I was right it’s a gem 💎 the meat melts almost like a slow cooked beef tongue melts. Very tender and the flavors are on point.The salsa is on point too. It has a spicy kick but it’s subtle enough to taste the flavor of the dried chilies 🌶 they used. Red onions and cilantro is a first that I’ve seen in a restaurant. I’ve done it at home before. It works here perfect.When you combine it all into a bite they become a separate flavor on its own. With all that’s going on well you can’t eat inside but they do have a few tables outside. I made the 45 minute drive to try this place and it was well worth it!! I didn’t eat there and I was extremely surprised when I finally got to eat, the tacos were still crunchy. Everything was delicious and it’s definitely a place I will be going to again!!
