A pretty good Korean pork barbecue restaurant. It is operated by the same owner as Cheongdam to improve the quality of pork barbecue. Its always full of customers, but if youre lucky, you wont have to wait too long. Seasoned pork ribs are famous, but I personally dont prefer seasoning for juiciness. The meat quality isnt the best, but its not bad. The service is very good, but there can be mistakes, so watch your bill. The side dish is very good and I am satisfied with the cleanliness. I recommend you to visit at least once!

It was amazing food and service. To celebrate my husbands and my own birthday our family had plans to dine out. However, our plans to dine elsewhere got canceled so we quickly reached out to the owner of Seori. They kindly answered right away and reserved a place for us to dine comfortably. They kept refilling the side dishes without any requests and checked up on us from time to time. Overall our experience was amazing and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality meat at an affordable price for the great quality.

I continuously crave their food, their service, and the atmosphere. Recently moved out of the area and wish I could tell the owners to open one where I live. Have wonderful service and they actually do barbecue for you so you dont look stupid. The quality of meat and even the marinated versions are just great. Make sure to get the corn cheese. One of the key features is that they are open until midnight!!!

Came here after not getting in at Baekjeong but glad we did because this place was great! we waited about an hour for a table of 3 on Sunday evening. I thought the beef combo wasn’t going to be enough but it definitely was! we had a halmeoni serve us with meat grilling and she was great. I also love that they serve bigger sizes banchans.

Really super fun experience. We went there for my little brothers birthday. Had sake bombs for everybody. If you have more than six people I highly suggest a combo family platter. It gave us enough food and then some to take home. I was a little disappointed in the bathrooms. They only had one stall open and a line out the door for the mens bathroom which is unheard of. And then I asked my wife and she confirmed the female bathroom only has two stalls as well but at least both of those were working.

First time at Seorai today and we really enjoyed it. We had made reservations for lunch because it wasnt possible to snag a dinner reservation at a reasonable hour. Anyway they werent so busy. The outside just looked blah but the inside was clean and very nice. Meats were really high quality, the service was really friendly and attentive, and we also really liked the sides. We look forward to bringing friends here for dinner in the future.

Ordered Seorai Long Ribs, Pork Belly, Beef Intestines, and Soybean Paste Soup for a table of 3! It also comes with side dishes and lettuce wraps like how you would expect at a KBBQ.We also ordered Terra and Soju Fresh and mix it up! Great way to start a Friday night.My personal favorite is the Seorai Long Ribs. It could get greasy so the Soybean Paste Soup helps wash it down. Definitely a perfect combination.My friends and I made a reservation ahead of time so the wait time was only 5 mins. Highly recommend everyone to RSVP ahead of time because there will be a lot of people during the weekends.Special call out on the service! Staff are friendly and help grill your food. There’s a call button you can press for any service you may need.Parking is hard to find as there’s a lot of good food places around but we were lucky someone left as we drove in.Second time here and will definitely come back again with friends!

I followed the advice of some other people and made reservations. I would say this is probably the easiest way to get seated quickly or check their Yelp waitlist times before heading out. Due to our reservations, we were seated within 2 minutes of arriving. Since it was busy, the host explained that once we were ready, we just needed to press the call button to have our waiter come and order. So nice to be informed properly! Our waiter was a professional - even though it was busy, he was still pretty attentive without us pressing the button. He cooked the beef rib for us and changed out the grill after we cooked the pork jowl.If you check my photos, you will find my ratings. HOWEVER IF YOU’VE MADE IT THIS FAR, I’ll tell you the must haves for first timers. MARINATED BEEF RIB AND SEAFOOD PANCAKE. if you can’t get either of those, then…you’ll have to wait until my next visit because there is so much on this menu I wanted to try.It’s definitely a once in a while type of place if you don’t live in the area. It is not your average KBBQ place, so expect the prices to reflect the quality. Otherwise, Seorai is a great place with good vibes and food. In the words of our famous ex-governor, “I’ll be back.” 😂

Had a lunch with few friends. It was not very crowded during lunch. The restaurant layout has modern arrangements with some private quarters. It is very clean. Like the bell on each table to request services. Foods were ready pretty quick from the time order was taken. It is not all-you-can-eat. Clean restroom.

Reservation is highly recommended especially for the weekend. Very quick service once order is taken. For a family of 5 we ordered a combo bbq dish for $235 flat. You can cook yourself or staff can assist too. Unlimited side dishes. Rice will cost extra. Party of 6 or more comes with 18% surcharge. .

Only Korean restaurant that is open til 12am in Santa Clara, staffs were somewhat friendly, atmosphere is clean and nice, great music, price is on the higher side, service was just okay, the side dishes were large portion compared to other restaurants. Only complaint, it took over 30 minutes for the cold noodles, maybe they forgot about it, by the time they brought the noodle out, I was almost done with my Kimchi soup and rice. For a BBQ place I would think they would put some large chunks of pork in the soup but they were very thin and small. But I was amazed by the look and the taste, it was very delicious! One of the best kimchi and kimchi soup I had in a long time. The cold noodle came late but it was tasty and cool! I didn’t have time to try the BBQ this time but I will definitely come back for it! Overall very satisfying!

Great new Korean BBQ spot. Ordering is done conveniently by scanning a QR code, and you can request help from your server with the touch of a call button. Food was great— I recommend the beef brisket and galbi tacos, and the bean sprouts are addicting. Friendly staff. The metal chopsticks can be difficult to manage, so you might want to request a fork if you aren’t too dexterous.

Rating this as a Korean BBQ joint, Id have to say it was a massive disappointment. No matter what vibe you are going for, high end or simply for late-night drinks, there is one thing you cannot compromise on: the quality of the meat. We had the pork combo which comes with the belly, the cheek, and some marinated version of some part. It didnt matter though cause you could immediately sense how tough and dry all parts were. Essentially, I feel they are using frozen meat or the cheapest quality. As you know, pork quality visually is difficult to tell apart simply with marbling (as they are all fatty). But when you chew on it, you can immediately understand that they have cut corners massively.The service was great. The atmosphere was great. And there were adequate banchan (although nothing special). Everything felt like it was from a factory. I would given it even fewer stars if we didnt have a good time amongst my friends and crew. At least they gave us great seats with quite a bit of privacy so we were able to laugh and crackle. But thats about it.Wont be returning at least for a while.

My friends and I visited this past weekend. There were about 12 of us and to my suprise, an employee stayed and grilled for us. We ordered a couple of the big trays and drinks and the bill came out to almost a grand. 😬Overall, the facility is clean, ambiance is pleasant, employees are professional, and the food was a delight.. fresh and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend. We made reservations so there was no wait. But parking was difficult as the lots were packed. We ended up parking in the street after driving around for about 5 mins.Highly recommend for quality Korean bbq!

Made a reservation for 6 on a Wednesday night and I was surprised how crowded Seorai was, as well as the parking lot for the restaurant. It is a small restaurant so highly recommend making a reservation or joining the Yelp waitlist when you can.Overall the food was excellent. Lots of banchan and the staff are usually pretty good about refilling it. We ordered half original/half spicy fried chicken, beef brisket, marinated galbi, pork belly, beef brisket and watermelon soju.The meat was super tasty and it was more than enough for 6 people. Toward me the end of the meal, the staff helped us cook the pork belly and galbi but most of the time it was us cooking. I definitely recommend Seorai for Korean bbq and I will definitely be back!

Summary: Beautiful presentation, bad execution. Combo meal has a lot of food but may not be worth it, maybe go for the a la carte. Lots of banchan. I would choose to cook for yourself.Notes: Really good quality meats. Beautiful presentation with the meats on a serving board. Everything was bronze colored, from the utensils to the banchan dishes to the rice bowls. Wonderful experience of getting choices on which cuts we preferred to cook next and setting up different types of grills to accentuate the quality of the meat. Wide variety of banchan. The beef short rib meat and the pork jowl was delicious, super tender and well marbled. Brisket really good as well. Must get those.We got Combo D which comes with:Pork galbi: marinated pork on the bone, cut off the bone before grilling and both served after grillingBeef long galbi: butterflied beef short rib on the bone, cut off the bone before grilling and both served after grillingBeef brisket: thick, fatty brisket, cut into bite-size chunks before grillingPork jowl: pork neck muscle, super fatty cut with lots of collagenS.B stew: soybean stew (doenjjang jjigae) with vegetablesKimchi pancake: kimchi pancake with scallions and onions.2 things I would change:1. Cook the bones longer/just dont serve it. We had issues with the pork galbi not being cooked through even though our server said it was done. Most of the meat was good, just had to throw the pork bone and some nearby pieces of meat back onto the grill for a long, long time (got lots of concerned looks from the servers but trust me, it was still raw at the end) The beef short rib meat was great, absolutely delicious, but the meat on the bone was too tough to eat. No amount of chewing could have gotten it off the bone. It was a decision to put presentation ahead of edibility. Keep the bones, theyre pretty but we cant eat them.2. The grill placement for larger parties. I understand that we have the option to have the server grill or do it ourselves, but the grill placement almost forces you to have the server cook for you. Unless you have really long arms, youre going to have to bother the person next to you to get you food if youre on the end without the grill.

Overpriced and terrible service. We ordered a beef brisket and a pork belly, which were around $40 each. There was nothing really special about them so we were expecting good service.The waiter began to grill the beef for us and he also placed the tongs on the far side of the table, so we assumed that he would be handling it. However, after placing the beef on the griller he just went away. At some point we had to take over otherwise the it would have been overcooked.While we were eating the beef, the waiter came and placed the pork on the griller without even asking us if we wanted it yet. This time the same thing happened, he came a couple times and then just disappeared. We were busy chatting and by the time we realized, the meat was already severely overcooked (he hasn’t even flipped it yet). However, he acted like nothing was wrong and “finished” the grilling for us. I have eaten at many other Korean barbecues and this is the worst pork belly I’ve ever had, not to mention how unhealthy it is to eat such overcooked food.I mean, we’re completely ok with cooking the food ourselves, but at least be consistent and tell us what we should do, and not just expect us to finish the process. We also ordered a tofu soup and asked for it to be “less spicy”, but then it became not spicy at all. The waiter never checked with us how everything is going.To be fair, the tofu soup was still quite delicious and the environment was new and clean.For this price you would be able to enjoy an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ somewhere else. I seldom write reviews as my tolerance for bad food and service is quite high, but I just can’t withstand such a waste of my hard-earned money.

Its not AYCE kbbq, but the meat quality is awesome here! This is one of my favorite kbbq places in the Bay Area now.We had the rainbow pork belly plate, one order of brisket, and Seorai long rib. Everything was tasty, but the rainbow pork belly was the highlight for me. It comes with garlic, wine, matcha, curry, and plain flavors. The matcha was the most surprising to me and my favorite out of the meats. Ive never had matcha on meat before. That novelty drew me in for the experience. Lastly, the type of grill they have is unique and something youd see in SoCal.Service is perfect-- they come and cook the long rib for you. Its louder than most kbbq places, so its not a place for a quiet dinner. Seorai is my new go-to to have kbbq.

In short: just go, this place knows what they’re doing and they’re doing a great job.Dine in: No reservation so had about a 20 minute wait at 7:30 on a Friday. Once seated they indicated they used buttons on each table you use to call for service.The place is adequately staffed, highly responsive, and very professional. Employees were super nice.Not a huge variety of banchan but all of them were excellent (spicy fish cake, japchae, etc). Kimchi was very fruity and I really liked it.Had a pineapple cocktail plus split a pineapple filled with soju, drinks were good if a bit pricey.For food we had budae jjigae and corn cheese (drinking food!). No noodles with the budae jjigae (I think they’re extra) but everything else was perfect with it. Portion was enormous (probably enough for 4 people) and it was kept warm on the tabletop burner.Corn cheese was perfectly balanced with the sweet and fatty and helped balance out the stew.Total came out to $100+tax and tip. Will definitely be back soon.

What an amazing KBBQ experience! The food was delicious. I recommend the seafood pancakes. The chicken wings are also phenomenal (a member of our party said they were the best they’d ever tasted.) They just kept bringing out hit after hit. 10/10 for the spacious, hip atmosphere. The 9pm happy hour is also a plus.

Got overcharged. Came here for dinner with a couple friends and ordered the beef combo, corn cheese, and lettuce wraps. The servers were really fast and helpful with cooking some parts of our food. Pretty sure we got overcharged as those 3 orders should not have added up to $160 before tip (combo being 120, corn cheese being $9 and lettuce being $3. Perhaps I missed something but the receipt I got doesnt have an itemized list and only provided the total price (I feel like a teacher giving a math assignment and saying to show your work). I didnt realize until the next day as it was fairly late at night by the time dinner ended, so it was on me for not being attentive enough. It just really kills any incentive for coming back plus I think I would rather just have spent the same amount on an AYCE place.

The servers are friendly and the room is clean.Mulnaengmyeon is so tasteless. No matter how much mustard/vinegar you add, it’s just plain soup. I also tried the Spice Chicken... Of course, it cant be compared to specialty chicken restaurants like BBQ Chicken, but it just tastes like red pepper paste-based chicken and doesnt have that crispy taste, so its not that good. The music is so loud that you have to talk very loudly at the same table to hear it.
