The best food Ive had in a long time, Im a sucker for chicken quesadillas and it was made to perfection, really moist with tender shredded chicken and enough cheese to satiate my cheesy needs. The cook and the waitress were really nice and only occasionally asked if I needed something, left me alone when I was enjoying my meal.

Hidden gem in Red Bluff - if you’re driving through, I would 100% recommend Serf & Javi. Come hungry, the servings are huge!

Was created with kindness the moment I walked in Price is very reasonable food was served definitely hot Great chips and salsa fresh I love the salsa it tasted great My plate was beans, rice, bacon wrapped shrimp and New York steak everything was cooked perfect wonderful flavor I would definitely be back and everybody out there should really try and support this business they have a really good food great attitude good service cant complain at all

Absolutely loved this place. The food is delicious and are big portions. I had the carnitas burrito and it was huge, big enough to feed 2 people, but I ate it all by myself. My partner had the mole dinner and again it was big enough to feed 2 people. Definitely recommend trying this place.

The food is real authentic Mexican food and its freakin delicious. I love the atmosphere and professionalism of the whole establishment. Best dinner in Red Bluff. My family and I sat in Sharis for 40 minutes and werent even offered drinks yet so we decided to leave and go to our favorite restaurant in town. We often order take out from Serf and Javis and its always not only on point but very fast.

They use fresh ingredients and the recipies used add additional freshness. My current goto when mexican cuisine is required.Non vegie: Top notch chicken mexi plate and chicken super-taquito.1st time: Best Veggie Soup, flavorful but not salty or overcooked, maybe could use some chayote squash.2nd try soup had more zuchinni squash but started with not such a clean grill. Still the veggies in the soup were perfect.Skip forward in time, Went again and asked for less salty Veggie soup, got the best ever! Great veggie burrito lots of veggies!Year later veggie burrito has changed slightly for the worse with larger portions, had to drop my rating system slightly, will keep buying it.

Cant say enough about the food here! Eaten 6 different dishes so far and this place doesnt seem to have any weak spots on their menu. Even their chips are fresher and more crisp (without any hardness) than everyplace else. Their regular and hot salsa are also excellent quality and taste with no weird or sweet bs added in.

I love this place! Salsa is great, with no sweet fruit and no lame tomato sauce. Chips are fresh and crispy with no staleness. Every dish weve tried is outstanding and far surpasses local competition.Seriously: once this place gets granted its liquor license AND can move to a larger location, Alcatraz and Carlitos will get edged out of business.

Went with the wife today to order some takeout. She got the two enchilada special and I snagged the chili collarado. Probably the best Mexican food Ive had in town as of late. While all the other restaurants seem to be slipping Im glad we found one thats still pumping out delicious well priced food.Definitely coming back.....(Update)Second visit was much worse.The food was not flavorful at all. They kept bugging us as we were eating with things we didnt need to be interrupted by. Seemed like they just wanted to flip our table as fast as possible. Went from a great dining experience to us not going back there now.

Best Birria I’ve had in a very very long time! Truth be told, I couldn’t get enough of the broth. I’m looking forward to trying out their Molé sauce on our next visit.My daughter had the the veggie burrito, which was HUGE. She now has breakfast and lunch for tomorrow lol.I had the veggie enchiladas which were quite delicious. The veggies were al dente, perfect!That birria tho… mmmmmEdit 6/14/23:I had the mole. Absolutely delicious! The mole has just the right amount of spice, is not sickly sweet like some other moles Ive had in town. It is now my go to every time we visit S&F :)

Quick to be seated, order and served. Great flavor and decent sized menu that has some differences from other Mexican restaurants in town. Friendly staff (three people did ask us at least six times if everything was good) and well be going back. As of 12/3/2022 no alcohol on the menu.

My boyfriend and I love this place! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The owner is so nice, and Sol is our favorite server. She always provides fantastic service, remembers us, and seems happy to see us when we walk in.The food is absolutely delicious. My boyfriends go to is the caesar salad, he gets it everywhere he goes, and he says the caesar salad here is the best hes had. I have tried something new every time we have gone, and Ive never been disappointed. I would highly recommend the ceviche tostada.

Their food was good at a far price. Unfortunately they dont have a kids menu. No alcohol yet so no beer to go with the good food. Tile floors and not a bunch of wall art so it gets loud easily.

Delicious! The enchiladas were the daily special, I had shredded beef and they were juicy with the right amount of sauce and cheese. Beans and rice were cooked well and tastey too. Definitely will return!

Nothing fancy about the restaurant but the food is amazing! Freshly cooked and full of melding flavors that blend wonderfully on your tongue. Take the family, its totally affordable!

I like their food, they have dishes that other restaurants do not have and the staff is very friendly. I like the place, it is a good place, they serve a lot of food, you are very satisfied!
