New restaurant, new furniture, no alcohol yet.I tried the Lamb Seekh Kebab and a Sev Puri. My wife tried the Butter Chicken with rice. We also had plain naan.The Sev Puri was crunchy with a tasty interior and a sweet sauce. Delicious.The butter chicken was also good, the tomato taste came through and it was mild as requested. Finally, the Kabobs were very tasty, a little spicy, but also a little dry. The mint chutney went well with the lamb.Service was excellent.

This is one of the most highly rated Indian restaurants for a reason. The price is fair and the quality of dishes is extremely high.I recommend going off the beaten path and trying new dishes here. Life’s always a bit more bright and exciting when trying new things, right? My favorite dishes: makki di roti and sarso da saag, goat curry, malai chicken.

10/10 food and service. We ordered the chole bhatura, chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala and some naans for the main dishes, as well as some mango lassi. Food was extremely fresh, came very quickly, and the flavor was on point. One of our friends cant handle spice and they did a great job accommodating her and made her dishes mild. The employees were friendly, attentive and checked in multiple times. The gajjar halwa at the end reminded me of the one my mom makes. Overall, we had a great experience.Safe to say this is our new go-to spot for good quality Indian food!

It is a non-descript place in the strip mall in Santa Clara with one of the best Indian food in South Bay. We ordered saag, shahi paneer, garlic naan and stuffed Kulcha. You could taste the freshness of the greens in the saag. Gaajar ka Halwa which we ordered for dessert also deserves to be called out. The service was friendly and prompt. I am going to recommend the place to my friends.

Amazing and simply delicious. We had Makki di roti with saag, dahi bhalla along with half tandoori chicken. Nothing was too spicy like many Indian restaurants in the area which was awesome and full of flavor. Our new fav Indian food with Punjabi flair! Yummy! We will be back!

Nice food, like the Shahi Darbar goat curry and mixed veg pakora. Garlic Nun is well made not like other store which simply toss oil and garlic on top of the nun…. Of course, the mango lassi is a must to try. Service is superb! I should had taken pictures :)

I whould really recommend this place for all foodies from India. We had dinner here at this place last week. As well as it was our first visit at this restaurant. But me and my family are really impressed with service and food.The young guy at front Karan Singh was really humblest, polite and kind person. Expensive and had hair in the food. Yuck.Curry was OK. Portion was small. Also got a skewer of meat.The food had hair in it - staff did not care 😑they said they would do better next time…. Yeah there will be no next time. Do better THIS time. 😓😵😵😵‍💫Food was OK but portions are small and you will need to order a lot to feed 2 adults. Not worth the experience of finding hair in your food and poor customer service.This location was close to home so we hoped to have a new Indian food spot but this will be a big no for us. 🙈😵Only good thing is plenty of parking in the parking lot.

The food was okayish overall.We got the chicken chilli for appetizer, quite chewy/rubbery texture (overcooked chicken)We got the chole bhature and chicken tikka masala for main course with butter naan. The chicken was rubbery again, curry was okayChole bhature was decentOverall, cost us about $54 with a modest 15% tip. Wouldn’t say it’s completely worth the money but the service was nice and the server was polite and well behaved.

I owe the very nice and lovely servers here a review so here I am! I came here on the recommendation of an Indian friend (who came with his family) and he definitely did not steer me wrong. The chicken tikka gravy is excellent, the paneer tasted fresh, the tandoori chicken came out juicy and sizzling, and the mango lassi was deliciously tart. Naan texture is fantastic. Our servers were great about letting us know when a dish needed extra time, suggested we order fewer naan (or at least order them as we needed them), and checking in on us. Lots of Indian restaurants have been disappointing lately and this one is doing an amazing job with the flavors.

I saw a restaurant adjacent to our Indian grocery store. Today, my family went to this place and... it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and way beyond our expectations. Be sure to try one of their meals; the Amritsari Chole Kulcha and Chole Puri were both excellent. And their portion sizes were generous for todays times.Most importantly, the staff there was very hospitable and friendly. Since we went there early, we beat the crowds and enjoyed a quiet dinner. Without a doubt, one of the best Indian eateries in the neighborhood! My family definitely intends to return to this place.

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious meal at Shahi Darbar Indian Cuisine in Santa Clara. The food was extremely tasty and amazing, the service was excellent and staff is very friendly. They asked to wait for 20 minutes. We asked them after that to which they said that table is available, wait for 2 minutes. Then we waited for more than 10 minutes and asked again. Now, they said that manager is asking to not give any table.We had a 2 year old kid and he started crying with hunger. It was an absolute disgrace that they made us wait for 30 minutes for nothing. They should have told us at the beginning as well.Very poorly managed.

A new Indian restaurant with good service. Tables with cloth napkins & cutlery for a change - tired of Indian restaurants serving in disposable dishes and cheap napkins. The breads ( kulcha), rice, and vegetable were good and had large portions. Something, like the pakodas, still needs to be perfected. They were nice about it and remade it. So good service - that is so lacking in more popular Indian restaurants in and around El.Camino.

So I was craving spicy Indian food and this place met all the requirements. The Shahi goat curry was finger licking good and we ate with Naan.
