2023-06-11 17:45:33Went there for dinner on a weekend. The restaurant was busy but still had plenty of seating area. Like other Indian-Pakistani restaurants, you order and pay at the counter first, and you have to get your own plates, utensils, etc. The order came out very fast so we didn’t have to wait long.We ordered chicken biryani, goat curry, naan, kebabs, and mango lassi. The food was good but lacked that extra flavor. It was a bit bland/normal for our taste. The price is very reasonable compared to similar places and they also have free chai tea. Plenty of parking space outside too.

2023-09-05 00:27:44The food is absolutely amazing. Not enough I can say about it. One salient feature when comparing against other desi restaurants is that each dish tastes unique. Unlike at other places where is seems everything gets plopped into the same set of spices and canned tomato paste. It is really awesome how different every dish is, Aloo Qeema vs. Aloo Palak Methi, vs. Saag Gosht. The Chicken Tikka is absolutely the best I’ve had anywhere. Lahore included! (And yes, Bundoo Khan is pretty good but it is no Shalimar.) And the naans! Ohh! The naans! The place could be cleaner, and the less said about the restroom facilities the better.

2023-10-04 07:01:21We love the quality of food here, but today was very upsetting. I ordered chicken tikka masalas and asked for extra container of gravy. I even paid for extra container and they just divided the same amount of gravy into different containers. And I received all three containers half full only. I saw this when i came home and now its not even enough for the family. May be not the cashiers fault but the ones packing.

2023-11-02 13:55:55The quality of their food as remained r consistent over the years and the prices are also quite reasonable. They use a bit more oil than I would personally prefer but that is the only way to get all the whole spices that this restaurant uses to release their full flavor so the extra calories are totally worth it. One of the best naans I have ever had … large and fluffy and tasty. The curries are also superb.

2022-08-23 03:24:16Fantastic place for Mughlai food in East Bay and similar taste to Pakwaan. Good portions sizes and very quick service. Every item we ordered was excellent. Biggest praise goes to the tandoori roti, soft and fluffy with that perfect crispness. The goat karhai was flavorful and they used the good rib meat. Beef seekh kebabs and chicken tandoori were also delicious. We also had a tomato based chicken dish called Murgi korma salan which was quite nice, mostly boneless chicken. Place is fully halal. They also offer complimentary chai though it does run out. Affordable.

2023-03-19 04:57:10My family has been ordering food from here from the past 25 years. And never have had a problem with thier food or service. Morerecently when Mr. Bhatt has not been coming to the restaurant the food, service, and quality has greatly deteriorated. There was no chutneyeven after we called and requested they add it, no Naan that we ordered had one soft spot They were all hard as a rock. The most surprising part was we ordered goat curry andfound a huge piece of plastic in it. We called the restaurant instead of trying to find a solution the person on the phone stated that he hasgiven many goat curries out today and has had no problem. He said Uber eats must have put the plastic in the curry. Maybe the Uber Eatsdrivers also put in the random things other people have found in thier dishes and wrote reviews. Honestly, there is no point discussingthis anymore. I would request the owner to please come back and get a hold of his restaurant. Until then we will never dine again with this restaurant

2021-12-05 06:35:23The Goat Biryani was excellent. Spicing was right on target.I asked for butter chicken and was told in their restaurant it is called chicken tikka masala, so I ordered it. It was nothing like the chicken tikka masala I have had in the past. Huge layer of ghee on the top and not much yogurt, it was just fair in my opinion. The chicken tandoori leg was overly dry, burned but nice flavor. The mixed vegetables was poor, mostly potatoes and a huge layer of ghee. The huge Nan was good but quite thick. The bread was delivered to the table in a reusable blastic basket which was nice.We dining in, they gave us a togo bag to our table and then you have to go and get your own plate and plastic cutlery. You have to pick up your drinks from the cooler.
