Shan Shan Low Restaurant in Concord

This place was amazing, easily one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been at. The service was superb. The staff was super nice, and we got our food in about 5 minutes, which was one of the fastest serving times I’ve ever had. Every single dish we tried tasted great, and there was nearly no leftovers. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Been coming here for 17 years. This place and food has not changed (in a good way). I always get the salt & pepper pork chops and they are always excellent. Service is quick.

First timer here at this restaurant, but definitely no stranger to Chinese cuisine or dining experience.Service is fast and friendly, and more attentive than other similar restaurants.Menu is pretty standard. Flavors generally vary between restaurants, obviously, this one having a more southern Chinese flare.We had potstickers (not my favorite - thin skin and a bit soggy), chicken chao mein (tasty), Mongolian beef (excessively salty), and curry chicken (tasty).The soup and spring rolls at the beginning were good. Crispy spring rolls with a sweet/sour dipping sauce.Price is about standard as well.

My boyfriend and I came here today! It was delicious! We had the wonton soup, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein, and vegetable fried rice! The service was excellent and the waiter was so nice and attentive!

$60 after tip for five items. Overall, not mind blowing or disappointed. Would probably give it a 3.5-4 if it was about $10 less in total.Chow fun - Very blandMixed veggies (mushroom/bok Choi) - tasty, little pricey for what it is.Broccoli beef - about as standard and acceptable as you can imagineDan Dan noodles - Spicy, pretty decent. Not too much meat.Mandarin Fried Chicken - Probably the best out of the meal. Tasty and crispy. They are smart enough to send it out in a to-go box with a hole in the top to release the steam and reduce some of the sogginess effect.

This is based solely on the medium sized hot and sour soup. Not the best Ive had but pretty decent. Lots of bamboo shoots, and tofu that make it filling. Definitely could have used more meat. The soup base is warm from what I believe is heavy use of black pepper. I love black pepper so I enjoy this flavor. Consistency of the soup is good. Would for sure get again

03/09/22 @5 PMIt is quite a restaurant. Plenty of indoor sitting low lightning, would pass for a date setting.Seems most of their orders are online to go. So inside is pretty free. Make sure you tell them you are dine in so they can seat you asap.They offer hot tea when you sit.Ordered the plum wine which is known for being sweet. [Kinsen]Side rice is plain so you know nothing is added. A plus for me. Although it did taste not as fresh. Grain seems to be jasmine.For app i Ordered some Boiled Meat DumplingsPretty good very hot [temp] even better with soy sauce.For the main i ordered the Hot Braised Beef Stewed - came in a nice bowl still bubbling from how hot it is. Flavour was good a bit on the saltier side but you can taste hints of different spices, meat was a mix of lean and fatty pieces, with the side of rice this was a good dish. It is on the mild side. Both app and main dish had stronger taste of ginger and garlic i enjoyed it.Server was nice not bothering while eating.They do only give you one napkin to start so dont be messy? They offer 1 more if you ask.Overall decent experience.
