All orders are pick only. Im very happy to have found this spot. Finding authentic food in the north bay is so hard. Ive lived in Tiburon for 2 years now and its been difficult to find quality, authentic ethnic food. Its tasty and super fast service. I ordered the Sweet & Spicy garlic chicken, green bean beef and garlic noodle. The noodles were pretty bland but the other dishes had a bit of sauce so I drizzled it over the noodles and all the flavors balanced out. The chicken was piping hot (which I love) there was lots of flavor and big chunky pieces of chicken. The green beans still had a nice crunch --soggy veggies are the worst.

Most legit Chinese Food in Marin. I’m surprised that there’s a restaurant like this here. Usually, I’d have to drive to Inner Richmond in SF for my Chinese Food fix. So glad to have found this place!

Good stuff. Authentic Shanghai as good as you can get in Marin. Will come again. Very nice folks. And great prices! Many Door Dash delivery drivers coming in for pickups. Must be a popular place for take out.

The lady is friendly but impatient sometimes only because she needs some help. I think the cook does too, especially with the noodle dishes. I eat here often to avoid going all the way to San Rafael. The sweet & spicy chicken wings are excellent, the onion pancakes great, the crab Rangoon are very good, the chicken or beef chow fun are tasty when I think the chef is not overwhelmed with orders. They have fell flat on flavor twice. I also have had better calamari from here too. Overall, the food is good to me, the prices are reasonable and the service is okay. Shang Hai Kitchen is worth a try and Im still going to be a customer. I appreciate their great food, service when very busy, their location & reasonable prices.💯😋

My work and I are obsessed with this restaurant. Weve ordered from a couple of restaurants across Sausalito and Marin, but Shang Hai Kitchen seems to be one of the few reliable ones for us. The Shanghai soup dumplings are the perfect finish to a 3 hours of back to back meetings. Get them while theyre hot!!

The first time I ordered delivery they got it wrong. I ordered an eggplant dish and a tofu dish. I received no tofu but 2 eggplant dishes. But the food was great. The second time I carried out we ordered 2 eggplant dishes and I emphasized no hot peppers. I said over And over again no hot peppers. When we received it it was hot as hell. They did make it better by then sending 2 tofu plates. But the tofu was horrible but the veggies were wonderful.

Affordable, convenient, and good quality/taste for the cost. You have to make the run up to San Rafael to find another decent place at a similar price point. Seems like a family-run operation.They use Spam quite liberally in their combo fried rice and wor won ton soup. Dont get me wrong, I like Spam. Ive just never encountered it like this before. They dont seem to skimp on other proteins by using it, either.To the entitled person who waited 20 minutes to buy a Diet Coke: Why, in Gods name, wouldnt you just walk around the corner to the gas station? 🤣

Very flavorful food! Order was accurate and fair prices. Giving 4 stars only because none of our entrees (sweet and sour chicken & beef and broccoli) came with rice. Had I known, I would’ve ordered some. The sweet/spicy chili wings are delicious too!

Ordered delivery, and received the wrong food. I tried calling the restaurant to see if the delivery driver accidentally gave me the wrong person’s food. The restaurant responded by saying that “they’re too busy” and hung up. I tried calling again to which she replied “I don’t know your order” and hung up again.

Food that they promise in 5-10 minutes takes over 45 minutes. Lady on phone screams and is very rude. Food is very good. But order does not follow directions. Milk tea is a Snapple lemonade. Veg Singapore noodles is filled with pork and seafood, etc.

If I could give negative stars I would! The service is awful and unfriendly - I wanted to buy a Diet Coke and had to wait for 20 minutes screaming because no one would come to the door. When they finally came they said it was $4 and unfortunately I only had a credit card. She lied and said they were cash only and took the diet Coke away. Rude liars!

Good Chinese food in Tam Valley. I ordered Moo Shoo Pork, Walnut Prawns, Pot Stickers, and Won Ton Soup. I loved the Moo Shoo Pork and Walnut Prawns. Pot Stickers were very good as well. Everything was fresh and good. Solid choice for Chinese food.

Worst “Chinese food” I’ve ever had in my life. Let’s just say Gordon Ramsey would shut this place down. Food is way over priced, and the quality is less of a microwaveable dinner I could buy at the grocery store for under 5 bucks. My fiancée and I bought 5 dishes. The food was cold, the veggies were OLD and very chewy it made me wonder how long they had been sitting out. We ordered duck that was mainly bone and was cold and undercooked. The prices were absolutely ridiculous for the quality of the food it was awful. I’m surprised I didn’t get sick.

Placed an order with them for the first time via Grubhub. It never arrived. I never heard from the restaurant why. I couldn’t reach the restaurant either. Called for over 40 minutes and no one picked up. When I contacted Grubhub I learned that the driver was an employee from the restaurant and even they couldn’t get a hold off them. Thought in times like this they would be grateful for every customer they get. I guess not...

Had a bad experience.We ordered chicken fried rice and lemon chicken. The lemon chicken was horrible and tasted more like orange honey chicken plus I was not sure which part of chicken meat they used because it tasted more like chicken feet. The chicken fried rice was okayish and more towards the bland side.

Ordered Mongolian beef before I could pull my phone out I had a hot bowl of soup in front of me. It was really good and unexpected.The Mongolian beef was spicy just the way I like it and was delicious. Defiantly recommend for a good meal.

We ordered via a third party (grub hub). It was over and hour and we called to check on the order. We were essentially told ‘sorry, were busy, they’re on their way’. Ok, I can see that. So now almost 2 hrs has gone by. Called again. We weren’t so friendly this time and without even asking for a name or order number were just told ‘I’m so sorry, it’s on its way. Well comp you for the next time you come.’ Ok, well we are from out of town, we aren’t coming back. After trying to reason with them (all while getting cut off repeatedly) we got hung up on!! Twice!!! The delivery driver came, finally, to the house next door. We got the food and the chicken was all over cooked. There was NO rice of any kind. It was probably one of the most ridiculous experiences I’ve had before. Would NOT recommend.
