Another wonderful experience and waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and hot. This is our third time, and we look forward to many more. Very happy!!

Dined in Friday at 7:30pm, dining room was busy but starting to wind down around that time. Server was friendly and food came out quickly. Most Chinese food is greasy so I expected that. Rice and chow mein were good, orange chicken was crispy and sauce was really good. Some of the fried foods were dripping with oil. The decor is nice but dusting is needed as there were cobwebs and dust on some surfaces. One unisex 🚻 restroom. A customer was blowing their nose while everyone was eating, I understand that may be unavoidable at times but in my opinion its more polite to excuse yourself and blow your nose in the restroom (just my opinion) and did not affect my overall experience. I noticed many regular customers coming in for pick up orders and making small talk with staff, they were pleasant and friendly. Worth a try!

The young waitress was nice and helpful. The older asian lady was very rude she was yelling at me when she brought my order to me lol. I thought to myself, I’d be happy if someone was contributing to my payroll? She didn’t seem happy at all. Also, she didn’t put any napkins or utensils inside the bag. And the food tasted alright until I started to crunch on what I thought was walnuts but i was wrong my chow mein was under cooked. Spent 25$ on a few items and was treated unfairly to say the least. Find it sad for people to not have any gratitude for wherever they are, and the elderly asian woman seemed angry for no reason, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Poor lady if i was the problem she could have just refunded me or, told me take my business elsewhere respectfully. 1st time here I’m going to have to wish you guys luck. And definitely would not recommend going here. A bunch of other good looking restaurants in the plaza

Best tofu dishes in town! Is there MSG? Probably, sometimes i ask for NO MSG. So be careful if you have allergies. My cousin recommended this place for lunches and family dinners. The owner is great when she sees our family she knows we get our usual stuff, so nice of her! TsingTao for those who wonder.

My husband orders the curry chicken no vegetables, they asked him if he wanted extra chicken, which was an additional $7, got it home and it was literally only a plate of chicken for $24, no rice no egg roll etc. I called to ask what comes with the curry chicken and they said if he wouldve ordered the combo it wouldve came with rice etc and only cost $16.95. Why wouldnt you tell your customer that youre only getting chicken for $24??? which is his fault for assuming it came with rice, it definitely wasnt worth $24 for marinated chicken. Lesson learned!

Very very bad customer service! The lady working their has a very bad attitude if I would give no star I would put no star.. She dont wanna give a refill to go even thou the drinks are $5.00 .... When covid hit, really miss this place. They were still open, but take out only, we lived to far away. When they reopened for dine in couldnt wait to get my favorite, sizzling rice wor-bar. We love there food and hospitality. Sometimes have to wait for a table, can be very busy. You wont regret it.

We really like this small restaurant. This family gives nice size meals at a good price. You need to let your food cool down a bit, its served very hot. Soup is very good and we like the #2 dinner. My friend and I split the meal and its all we can do to eat it all. You can probably have a group of 6 to 10 people if you get there early. They have seating for around 40 to 50 people.

The food here seems to be a hit and miss. We order the same thing all the time so it’s not the “try something new” problem it’s the cooks. The house rice is really good about 1 out of 3 times we order, the rest of the time it tastes like nothing with hardly any meat at all in it. They still have not opened so it’s a take out all the time. Picking a new restaurant now. Sad. Oh plus, super $$$

I usually dont like leaving bad reviews.. I really dont. The Chinese lady that took my last minute order was nice and took my order 20 min before close. I was there 10 min before they closed.I opened the container to find the chow mein looked like a scoop of porridge and tasted very bland.. no flavor at all. The Mongolian beef was ok but can use more spice.Whoever is cooking this food should step up their game.

We went 2X within 1 week and both times we werent disappointed. Their orange chicken is a lot different from most places, but it tastes more real and is delicious. Also, they recommend the sesame chicken. You can also make the orange chicken spicy. They have good egg drop soup. Their fried rice and chowmein are right on the money in terms of the high ratings this place has! Will definitely go again

I was visiting family and they brought me here for dinner. This restaurant has THE best Honey Walnut Shrimp Ive ever eaten in my entire life. Staff is friendly and prompt. I wish they had a bigger dining room to accommodate more guests is the only complaint that I have.

I called in an order and they have a sign on the window that says “3 customers at a time inside” so I waited my turn outside the door. People were just walking in and forming a line. I couldn’t believe the owner and staff just let them. Customers were arguing with each other about it and the staff just kept working. Obviously making money is more valuable than keeping customers safe so I will not order from them again.

Seriously good. I come from SoCal where there are some great Chinese cuisine restaurants, some even fine dining. I’ve eaten at some prestigious places. This is by far the best Chinese dishes I have ever had. It was the first time trying this place on a whim. Extremely satisfied and will be returning every chance I get. Highly recommend the honey walnut shrimp and the Wor Bar specialty plate!!!

The food and service are great. However they will nickel-and-dime you to death, a $0.50 charge for the tiniest little cup of sweet and sour sauce and a $1.50 charge for each substitution. My #2 combination dinner started at less than $12 and ended up costing me about $20 with tax, subs and extra sauce.(BTW, I didnt have a ridiculously complicated order or anyting either.)However, when Im really craving Chinese food, Im still going to Shanghai because the food is delicious!

Ordered a Shrimp fried rice and a chicken noodle soup. Fried rice had exactly three shrimps on the top and the rest of it was rice that tasted terrible. Couldn’t eat past the first bite. Soup tasted old and bland and had big chunks of random vegetables. It was the worst takeout I have had in a long time.

At least 20 people standing out in front of the restaurant. Waited another 40 minutes outside. Called and asked to speak with Judy the owner I was told she was to busy to come to the phone. This is the second and the last time I order from this restaurant. Order was wrong. I called to ask about the mistake. The girl that took the order screwed it up. They are wonderful for the quality of the food they have. I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp, the steamed fish, and asparagus beef when in season. The only down side is they dont have variety in veggies like other places do. I like bok choy, eggplant, and long bean, but I think you have to special order it ahead to get something like that. I still stand by the food they do serve.

The food comes out pretty quick, whether youre dining in or called your order in for takeout. We have only had positive experiences here,which results in us recomending it to all our friends and family who have a craving for good Chinese food. Our kids even like it A LOT and anytime we are asking for their dinner preferences, Shanghai is ALWAYS in their top 3! Their sign says they’re closed every Monday which is cool but I work in the same lot and wanted something from the neighborhood on a Saturday morning (open 11am-9pm) cause it’d be quick...well when i went around 11am on Saturday, they were closed.
