I had the pleasure of dining at Shenyang Tasty in San Gabriel, CA, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurants inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and, most importantly, the delicious food made it a memorable visit. Their menu showcases the rich flavors of northeastern Chinese cuisine, and the dishes are expertly prepared.I highly recommend trying their hand-pulled noodles; they are a true delight. The dumplings were also a standout, bursting with flavor. Whether youre a fan of spicy or milder dishes, Shenyang Tasty has something for everyone.The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Overall, Shenyang Tasty is a gem in the San Gabriel culinary scene. I cant wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings. If youre looking for an authentic and delicious taste of Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Super delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes, and some of the most pleasantly surprising ones were:1. Sweet and Sour Pork (each piece was just the right size, very crispy but not hard, and the sweet and sour flavor was perfect).2. Cumin Chicken Wings (very flavorful with just the right amount of cumin, they seemed to be fried and had a bit of crispiness).3. Sour Cabbage Stew with Pork (unexpectedly delicious, the pork was tender, and it paired perfectly with the sour cabbage).4. Northeastern-style Cold Jellyfish Salad (the mustard flavor might have been a bit strong, and it would be even better if the sesame sauce was a bit heavier, but the jellyfish was chewy without feeling heavy).Finally, we tried some candied hawthorns on a stick (my first time trying them, they were very sour, but the sourness was balanced with a hint of sweetness, and they were quite delicious).The only commend was that the restaurant seemed a bit old, but I hope they can open a new one in Irvine in the future.

Spontaneously tried out this restaurant I pass by regularly shengyang tasty restaurant Hands down the best braised pork belly. A very spicy house special hot pot which we could not finish. A creative deep fried eggplant dish. Services were attentive and friendly, it is a very down to earth place.

First time in this place. Looks new, hosts looked rather surprised by a visit from a foreigner lol..Ordered squid and vegetables salad, was very good, fresh, balanced textures and flavors, just enough spicy. Candied hawthorn berries were delightful. Friendly, patient service. Must revisit👌

Squid kebob and fried sweet and sour pork. Made fresh :) tasty bites and delicious pork. I finished my meal with sesame cake. Family owned and operated. Very good vibes

It was a great experience. My wife is from Shenyang. The food was very authentic. Restaurant was very clean. Staff was very courteous.

We went for a dinner and everything is still served in plastic containers even if you dine in. The quality of food is incoming and some times it’s not very good and can have some weird smells. The price seems to go up a little bit but not the quality.Really wish they can get back to its peak days soon. Good luck

I loved it here! The food was filling and delicious and very reasonable. The only drawback was the fact that it was a cash only enterprise. I am a person who never carries cash. But there is an ATM out front. I had the seafood noodles. They were great. Next time I will try the shaved noodles.
