This was for my Moms 80th birthday party. Shermans did not disappoint me. I ordered food for 50 got food for 80. I don’t know how the food was here…I couldn’t eat here! There are no tables or chairs anymore!Hadn’t been here since before Covid and at that time it was a sit down or take out. Now it’s completely 100% takeout. I was very disappointed.She said that the Pershing location has tables and chairs so that’s where I went!Had a great experience at the Pershing location‼️

Love this place .. in e neighborhood.It yes to Buffet style but Bec of Pandemic ..just food to go.The value e n taste n very reasonable price . Fried rice, Orange Chicken n Kung Pao Chicken are our Fav. They serve so generously .. that you have leftovers for the next meal.Just a little problem last time. Not your typical chinese food buffet, the amount of items are limited but nevertheless what’s available is really good and fullfilling. It’s just a couple minutes off the 5 freeway making it and excellent spot for long road trip travelers that want to eat something fast, just off the freeway, delicious, and most important one of the best deals around to compensate the high gas prices. $9.80 for lunch buffet and a drink. The ladies tending the place were really polite, place was clean and food fresh and tasty. I really recommend this place.

This place has fallen all the way off! The food was dry as hell, as if it had been sitting under the heat light since yesterday. I went in around 12 :00 noon, lunch time so there was no excuse for the food to be that dry. Also, they dont clean their shrimp. Eat at your own risk. I ended up throwing the entire order away, a complete waste of $20. I will not be returning.

This place is TERRIBLE.First off, we were immediately greeted with You MUST PAY FIRST.Then before I could even order anything I was immediately charged $17.63. We didnt want the buffet. They also said if we get a combo plate We can NOT eat there.The people there are VERY RUDE AND talk about the clients in their language. HORRIBLE!!!!!

This place is phenomenal. The amount of food that you get for the price, makes you feel like you are eating like a king. Their food has NO MSG as we have a family member who is allergic. The food is very tasty. Their green beans are delicious, I order them every time. And their wonton soup works wonders when I am sick. Will always be a loyal customer to this place!!

Best prices for average quality food! It comes down to selection. I prefer fresh cooked vegetable dishes. Most are stir-fried with meat.Few others are deep fried chicken and green string beans. Tasty yet oily as expected with that type of cooking.A shrimp dish, we like is typically deep fried is unshelled shrimp with its head intact. My sister in law loves to eat the upper head portion. I too occassionally nibble them as they are juicy and tasty.Always see customers waiting to order or to pick up. We often stop by on our way home an hour up North. It is an exceptional bargain yummy meal!There are three restaurants...been to two. Consistent quality, taste, price and selection.

I Wish I could give a total cancel ❌. Zero The worst Chinese food ( if I could call it that ) I dare you to find egg or meat or flavor in the fried rice. The chow mein was worst only other ingredients is cabbage. The egg rolls is some sort of gel with cabbage I dont know what those are. Cant explain it. The shrimp you get with the meal is a big fat pancake dough on the tiniest of shrimp if you can find a shrimp in all of the dough. Chicken teriyaki my arse! These people are a joke ! Total game ! How long have they been over there taking folks money like that. ? Robbery without a gun. The broccoli beef is a weird too. The beef looks so like its been boiled it had a Funny pale color. Orange chicken was breaded to be to he hilt. The only flavor profile I could pick up was salt with a capital sodium ! Even the soy sauce and hot mustard was the cheapest and bunk ! since when does hot mustard not burn your nose ? You guys will never have another dime of my good hard earned moneys. Fake Fake Fake

I love both establishments!We live by country club and before they open shermans #2 wed drive all the way to Waterloo to get their delicious food and now that #2 opened up we live 5 min away. The owner is very kind and friendly, also remembers his usual customers and is very generous on the amount of food you get when its take-out.

I was looking at the menu and I ordered 4 item plate, hear the lady by the register Say ugh! because I took2 secs to choose my items. Also the guy who served me only gave me two items and Counted them as 4 He said rice and noodles count each as a item not a side. So rude, food was decent thoe. stay away from if you dont want bad service.

Second time here. The first time we got the buffet and I would have given this place 3 or 4 stars. I knew via reading reviews the restaurant only had a very small selection but I was STILL surprised at how few. The buffet was... boring. Some meat dishes are 80% breading. The food is a bit greasy. Its not THE best chinese food as some are saying. But its better than average. Now the second time, after seeing how much you get in a lunch plate, husband and I just shared one of those. Its a ton of food for dirt cheap that feeds two people and options matter far less. In a 3 item combo plate, rice or noodles are one choice, you pick two more, and whether there was 3 other choices or 20 more, you still took home your favorites. On that note, 5 stars.

Beware of FOOD POISONING!!! I have gotten severely sick 2 times after eating from here. 1st time I wasnt too sure but the 2nd time smh... shame on me for going back. Their fried chicken is barely edible and their chicken does not taste like chicken! Lowest quality ingredients used in all of their dishes. Stay clear, you have been warned!

Lunch buffet is 6.55 and dinner is 7.55 (pretty much 8+ if you include tip!) Theres take-out combos offered as well. I went here for the dinner buffet and it was good for its price! A few options to choose from along with fountain drinks. Restaurant is cozy but can still fit a few groups! Service and staff are friendly as always and very polite. Thank you Shermans! :)

I love this buffet; Its really the tiniest one I have ever been to or seen, literally one counter and a few sides, and the dining area is just a hallway. However, I enjoy every single item on that counter, except the Kung Pao chicken, but I still sneak the zucchini from that dish into my plate. My coworkers and I come in all the time for lunch, and know for a fact itll be a quick, delicious, and seriously cheap lunch.I do have 1 complaint, and thats that, I have this dream where I can just pay for my plate (Even if its more $$) and fill it with whatever I want on the buffet and take it to go, instead of choosing one of their 3 or 4 item options because I like EVERYTHING on the buffet, so I want a bit of all.

Great new addition--spicy boil beef and fish--sauce was spicy, beef was tender and plentiful--fish was less abundant. Taste was quite good.Well worth the 7 bucks highly recommended,--I asked for less oil, and they accommodated that--it wasnt that greasy. Note that the sauce, while quite spicy and taste good, did not have the small red pepper flakes that most spicy boiled beef/fish dishes have.Still good on 2 nd try. Fish is basa/swai(though on first try it might be something else). Btw the bottom of the container is bean sprouts and napa, as is common with this dish elsewhere

I personally like the food. May not be everyones style. Definitely an American Chinese. Quick, easy, cheap and friendly. They always keep your drink filled up for you. Grab a plate, tell them what you want to drink, and quickly grab what you want at the buffet. In and out perfect for a work day lunch. Dont go here if want healthy choices.

This is how it works: know what youre getting before you go in, understand the workers are Chinese and the language barrier exists but otherwise theyre very polite, helpful and understanding. The food is quite decent and youre free to takeout or sit in.
