2023-07-19 21:21:10Craving authentic home style dishes in the OC?Let’s take a journey back to those unforgettable flavors of our childhood. There’s nothing quite like the comfort of home cooking, just like mom would make, right? From the steaming bowls of their soups to the fragrant stir-fries and fried rice, every dish we tried was delicious!! The comforting taste of home with every bite!! It’s definitely a diamond in the rough and worth every penny! The owner, Frank and the staff were so very friendly!! If you’re on the hunt for a restaurant that’s perfect for the whole family, look no further! Get ready to experience the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of this family-friendly gem! What we tried:* Braised Beef Ox-tail Noodle Soup (pure comfort food that reminds me of childhood dinners except ours was served with rice)* House Special Fish Soup (the broth is smooth and soothing.) A lot of love went into this soup. The whole shrimp gives it a lot of flavor)* Special Big Pork Bones (reminds me of a dish my mom made throughout the years.) Gloves are given to help hold the bone. The meat is fall off the bone tender. Pour the sauce over rice - soooo good!!* Spicy Fried Pork Belly (a bit spicy but very flavorful)* Sour Bean Pork Fried Rice (addictive and so delicious)EVERY dish was 🔥🔥🔥 So delicious and scrumptious!! They have been crafted with love, passion and patience, resulting in an explosion of flavors! Layers of aromatic spices, marinaded meats cooked to perfection and soups simmering for hours…these dishes are a testament to every ingredient carefully chosen and how they’ve developed a rich flavor. It will definitely leave you wanting more!!Let your taste buds embark on a journey of extraordinary taste and heartwarming dishes that will quickly become your favorites!!So gather your friends and family, come hungry and make lasting memories!! Enjoy!!

2023-12-02 02:09:09Sheng-Shui is the BEST hidden-gem, authentic chinese food spot in South Orange County, the interior is absolutely beautiful, service is magnicifcent and friendly, and the food is so tasty and flavorful. I have no doubt will be returning VERY soon!

2023-12-08 03:16:03I had no idea what to expect fish soup to taste like, but really enjoyed it. The spicy sauerkraut fish soup is delicious - the fish soup is very well balanced (not too fishy) and the sauerkraut gives it a yummy pickle-y kick.I returned with my husband because I thought he would like it, and tried the stir-fried pork belly that time as well. I liked the stir-fried pork belly even more than the fish soup!I highly recommend this place.

2023-11-30 19:33:22Food is good. Service is bad.The lady at the counter was absolutely rude. We had a group of 9, though we ordered individually at the counter, we served water ourselves, she charged each order with a 20% service fee. What service?

2022-04-11 18:16:57Uni fried rice was unique. I have never had any fried rice like it before. The fish rice noodle soup was rich, thick, and had depth. It almost tasted like beef bone or chicken bone soup, but much healthier. Im coming back here again to try some other stuff, too. I also took home the salivating chicken, which was spicy and delicious. The server was terrific! He worked alone, but he was attentive enough and generous.

2022-08-28 20:26:35Seems like a mom and pop type of noodle restaurant that specializes in fish broth. The service was slow considering they only had 1 student looking server. The food came out in random order. I don’t recommend the chicken kaarage, the chicken tasted a little off and I was nervous it wasn’t fully cooked. The noodle soups and fried rice was pretty decent. It was good to try something new but we probably won’t be coming back.

2023-11-27 07:40:28This place hands down to the best fish noodle soup. I only get fish noodle soup here. There are other dishes and are great but I just stick to their house special fish noodle soup. The broth is rich and not fishy. Super tasty. You can choose ramen noodles, rice noodles or udon. My recommendation is go with the original rice noodles.

2020-01-05 00:19:10TL; DR: great food and environment. Definite stop by if you want to taste authentic Chinese rice noodle. The fish soup was on-point. Maybe a little blend for some people, but just a hint of salt is all that’s needed to enhance the flavor. Beef brisket was great with the tomato soup. If you are a fan of tomato based hot-pot, definitely try it out. Beef tongue tasted like how it should, and the fried calamari was pretty flavorful.
