Alright. I’ll be honest with this place. I wanted some hibachi but they told me the wait time it could be one hour. Not enough to wait so we got a table instead. The service was so far so good. The rolls mmm, I’ll say fair.. the noodles soup was good tho.

Japanese food is really good. It has 2 sides. One with regular tables served and the other side like a square sitting bar with 6 cooking stations in front of you where the chefs cook and do fun tricks and fire flames.

Service was very friendly, my cocktail was pretty good. The sushi is horrific... not make you sick bad, but roll was way overfilled with mushy spicy tuna and the rice was horrifically stiff. Also tried my friends ramen which was similarly bad. Most of the AYCE sushi spots in the area have better food and there youre not paying $18+ for a single roll. Do not recommend.Cant state enough though that the FOH staff were excellent and helpful.

Ordered lunch from the team at Shiki Sushi. They offer various lunch options and combos. We ordered the 3 protein combo with teriyaki chicken, steak and orange chicken. It came with veggies and we subbed in fried rice.All the food was freshly made and tasted great. The portion was big and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend calling ahead, as the place was busy when I arrived to pick up our order.

Were always happy with our sushi!! This Bahama Mama was a little sweet in my opinion, but still good. The rolls always come out super fast. And you can put in or take out whatever you want in your rolls. The sushi bar guys are really nice!

We love everything about this place... we brought our sons the last time we went and they said this place is like Wabi Saba but without the loud annoying atmosphere. Never thought about that, we go because food is bomb but the kids made a good point. 👍🏻

I literally left not even 20 minutes ago with my daughter. I been coming here for years and even taking people here for dinner and they haven’t failed me until today. Me and my daughter order the shrimp and scallops hibachi but the family of five next to us order the chicken and steak not once did the family order shrimp so as the guy was separating our food to be given to us he gave us a skimpy plate to start off and then he gives the family our shrimp so me and my daughter end up with less and keep in mind when he gave 3 out 5 shrimp the wife makes a comment and says “we did we order shrimp?” And the husband lies and says the restaurant gives out free shrimp when you order steak and chicken NOT TRUE every item is sold separately and then the older son states “I don’t even eat shrimp” so the husband tries to quiet them and at the point I WAS DONE! and left the restaurant very upsetting at this point I will be be coming back for a very very very long time since that was allowed and happened to me and my daughter for the price I have paid!

It was very interesting to see the chefs cook in front of you. They started with rice and veggies and then your main meat course. They serve you soup and salad while the chefs prepare the meal which both were delicious. Id recommend this place. Will visit again should I be in the area. The staff were very friendly. It was a great experience.

This is just RIDICULOUS!!! This is a $16 + tax ($17.40) order of shrimp fried rice to-go!!! This is just unacceptable!! I hope you guys lose al your business and close down!! I can understand being careful the amount of shrimp in an order but only 6 shrimp… at whole sale cost that couldn’t even cost more then a few dollars!! But ok only give me 6 shrimp. The least you could have done is filled the box with the rice. I know from shopping wholesale at restaurant depot that you could have filled the box with rice and still made the same profit!! This is really just sad!! I will be posting a review on all applicable websites/apps and also spending the word to my family and friends.

Sushi was great, the tailoring to the 2020 pandemic is also great however, some of the waitresses were new and you could tell they didnt know what they were doing. Still. The sushi was really good. The alcoholic drinks are very spiked but the Ramen needs work. Maybe its because I prefer Kaz Ramen but idk, the ramen could have been slightly better. Still, I highly recommend this place although it could be a bit pricey.

We sat at the sushi bar. The chef was friendly, artistic and made everything to order including the rolls that we modified for allergy reasons. Excellent ahi and ono tuna. We asked for a fish collar and they had yellow tail and salmon, we chose the salmon since it was smaller and there were only two of us, it was very yummy, cooked perfectly. We cant wait to go again.They now have gluten free soy sauce when you ask for it. So far every shushi chef has been great at making custom rolls. Cesar was a great sushi chef and catered to our gluten free needs.

Great place! Its a Japanese sports bar with hibachi, sushi bar, and regular bar. Probably 50 TVs all with sports on them. We had the sushi and it was very good. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Ate an one hour lunch here in between presentations. Pros: quality of the food, presentation, friendly service, attentive staff and clean. I ordered the sushi don lunch and baked mussels. Cons: sitting by the bar offered a vulgar crowd, food service was a bit slow, and the atmosphere seemed more sports bar than restaurant.

Came in for a birthday lunch celebration, service was a bit slow for just opening and not a large crowd. However staff was kind and had great customer service so thats always a plus. Good rolls and Udon and completely wasnt expecting the cute little surprise. They even sang happy birthday which is always a kind gesture. Would definitely come back again.

It’s a terrible location the staff sucks has horrible customer service. The only good thing about this location are the Chefs. The establishment is small and dirty. The waitresses/waiters will always try to over charge you for something so make sure you take a good look at your bill before you pay. I personally recommend going to the Redlands location it may be a wait but it’s bigger clean and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Our most recent visit was on Saturday around 5:30pm for teppan. We were sitted with 10 minutes. We ordered a caterpillar roll, fillet mignon with shrimp and chicken fried rice. The server brought soup and salad quickly which was great since both of us were starving! The sushi didn’t come until 30 minutes later and tasted nothing like a caterpillar roll - it was filled with cucumbers and nothing else. By now we were so hungry, it didn’t matter much to us.Finally the chef came to our section to cook. It was very boring, all he did was cooking, no tricks, no jokes, nothing. The fried rice was very salty yet again we had no choice because by now we have been there for almost an hour and half because there are only 2 chefs working at the time. The steak and shrimps were decent.We asked for the manager to discuss the whole experience from the wait time to the salty chicken fried rice. All she said to us was the chef is new and she will talk to him, no apologies, no compensation, just a quick response and left.The bill came out to be $150 for just the two of us without any drinks, just the 2 teppan meals and a roll of sushi.I understand everything went up in prices and honestly don’t mind paying a premium price for good food and service. But this visit was so disappointing compared with all the previous experiences that we had. We are pretty sure this would the last visit.I gave 2 stars for the server, who was kind and attentive. She did her best in such situation and for the decent steak and shrimps.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends and family.

Worst experience ever !! We waited for over an hour and a half for our food and when we finally got it, one plate was cold, and they had gave us the wrong plate. We ended up cancelling that plate as they had took so long the previous time to cook it. Not only that but while we were waiting there was a possum right next to our table. Not something you’d want to see when you’re trying eat.

Awesome Japanese restaurant with every option, BBQ, Teppan-yaki, Shabu-Shabu and luscious Sushi. Since we are in Covid Era we didnt have the opportunity for the Shabu-Shabu, which brought us to try this place and unfortunately will likely never be this way again. Server was good enough but rush, rush, rushed. We did not receive our drinks or appetizer until we were 1/2 way through our dinner. They are doing a great job of maintaining social distancing.

We waited to be acknowledged for five minutes, then waited at the bar, but were never served at the bar. Finally called to the teppan we almost slipped on the wet floor. We waited another 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken and then another 15 at least before they were going to take our dinner order. I finally walked out because I didnt want to eat dinner for breakfast the next day! Lousy service, never got to eat the food, tables not cleaned off. I dont know how it could get much worse.

The food was amazing! However, I didnt like the fact that they automatically add an 18% tip to your bill without prior notification. Good thing I had the money. Other places charge this with parties of 8 or more. We were 4 adults and 2 kids who didnt even eat. Tipping should be optional and customer should decide how much not them.

We use to come here all the time about a year ago. We came so much it was getting too expensive. But today was a bad experience. The food was no where near as good as it use to be. My girlfriend ordered Ramen and it seemed liked they forgot about it and the waitress didnt even check on it. If it wasnt for a few other employees we probably would have never got it. I compliment those two employees but the rest was not worth it and probably wont be back unfortunately.

Stopped by Friday night and was able to get a table fairly quickly. However it took almost 15 minutes before we could order the food. There were 3 of us, and one of us got the food within 15 mins but the other 2 orders didnt come in until another 15 mins. Food quality is average and portion was good. Overall, an average place to eat Japanese food in term of service and food quality. We would come back but probably better avoid peak hrs because this place doesnt have enough staff to service 75% capacity

There was a lot of waiting around to be serviced. The food itself was good although the yakisoba chicken was not the noodles I was expecting. The fried rice and teriyaki chicken was very good. The cook was very fun. That being said, I did notice they have no serving staff. They had one girl covering our whole side of the restaurant, so I barely saw her to ask for anything. This is more on the business than on her since she was always respectful, even if she wasnt always present.

Whenever I have to travel to San Bernardino I always try to stop for dinner here. The sushi menu has some unique and tasty rolls. The prices are good, the portions are large and the service is incredibly quick. The non sushi items look good too, but Ive never tried any as Im always drawn to the sushi.

Made our whole family of 13 wait over an hour. When we told the hostess that we would dine in the hostess said that they would give us a table that was ready. When the manager came and gave the table to another party. When I mention it to her, She said that she couldn’t do anything about it. No apology or nothing. Food is decent Japanese food but the staff is horrendous or at least the staff that answers the phone. The conversation started off nicely but then you could hear the attitude in the voice starting to creep in. This was very off-putting as customers should not have to deal with any attitude whatsoever. Oh and for those who are reading this and are wondering what did you do to get that attitude? Well lets see, I was placing an order over the phone but had decided to walk in and order in person instead since I didnt feel comfortable giving my credit card information over the phone. That decision sparked the subtle change in attitude from this employee.

My husband, daughter, and I had dinner here tonight. Service was good for the most part for the fact that theyre fast. It honestly felt and tasted like fast food sushi. We did not try the teppan grill just sushi. Our lobster roll came out first about 5 minutes after the waitress took our order 🤨. The battered lobster was not warm. The salmon on my dragon roll could have been colder. The baked mussels we ordered as an appetizer came out last. I ordered the cherry coke/ Shirley Temple and it tasted like nothing but sweet syrup. I couldnt even drink it and I am a sweets person. I honestly did not care for anything my husband and I ordered. Especially for the price. Ive only been there on Sundays when its not busy so we got right in. Food was ready fast and service is friendly. There are several Teppan Grills here where families really seem to be enjoying themselves. From the moment I walked in I was treated with great respect and kindness from the hostess to the waitresses, I sat at the teppen grill and chef Mikey not only put on a great show but produced great food as well. The restaurant was clean and well lit. While I was there the customer next to me had an unfortunate situation happen, not only was management prompt in addressing the issue but the wait staff and chefs were willing to help rectify the situation. I went on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead which scared me since all other places are busy on Saturday nights especially if they have Happy Hour. But to my surprise food was GREAT, Dragon roll was AMAZING!! The only negative, it is a bit pricy.6/6/2022 revisit: our party of 4 returned to Shiki and had a poor experience. The food preparation was adequate, just like the food itself. They offer actually 3 different types of Japanese food there. They serve the traditional Japanese food of teriyaki, tempura, and sushi, and also grilling your own meats and vegetables, or the hot pot tables. We have yet to try the grilling your own food and the hot pot options. I will update my review whenever I get a chance to do that. When the chef Was preparing our mule in front of us there was another couple next to us and the chef accidentally spilt all of his meal that was supposed to go on his plate on the counter and then he took it off the counter and put it on the mans plate and the man had to eat it after being on the filthy counter. I thought that was very disgusting.

Food came out fast, but it was bland. Definitely not marinated or anything. Rolls werent bad, but had a bit too much rice. Focus on speed/quantity, not quality.

Bad service!! Every time I corrected them they over charged me on the bill and three times I corrected them they came with a bill that was higher then the last . How are you going to go from 120 to 160 to 199 dollars.

Ridiculous. Had the table bbq. First the grill had some stuff on it from the last person. Whatever, still used it. Then vent hood wasnt on, so it was smoking out my wife. They turned it on after asking. I then realized that the grill was in high, which was burning our food (server didnt even check it after lighting it). Then the server brings out miso soup, which was supposed to come before the main course, and proceeds to spill the ENTIRE BOWL on me. Jeans soaked, sweater ruined but whatever, I still have some burnt brisket to eat. We got our check and it was full price. Asked for the manager who helped us out with a $3.65 discount. Thats right, boiling hot soup to the crotch and we get enough to cover half the beer I had. Terrible staff because there is terrible management.

Good food an all but always get the carry out orders wrong i ask for sauces they say is in the bag to get home to two sauces only in the bag after nicely asking for extra bad customer service an as for there dinner plates feels more like a kids plate with a few pieces of chicken an some rice sad to say habachi trucks are going to have to be it for now 🤦

Excellent food selections; you can visualize chefs preparing your order. Sushi & udon noodles & so much more. Great atmosphere & a nice variety of drink selections from the bar. Great service.

I got food poisoning! Do NOT go if you care about your health or the health of your loved ones. This place gives off a weird vibe it doesnt know if it wants to be a sports bar or a sushi place. This is the worst sushi place I have ever gone to.
