Shilla Teriyaki & Sushi Bar in Placerville

This is by far one of the best sushi places Ive ever been too. The staff were lovely, the wait time was short. The foods presentation was amazing, fun, and honestly really cool. The foods quality and flavor was really good. If I could I would rate it 10/10. Five stars isnt enough. Definitely going to come back whenever Im in the area. (Forgive my brother being a dork in the photos)

Dont judge this restaurant based on location. We missed the turn because of the construction and not being able to tell it was open. We turned around and happy we did!! Its an older place, but I felt like I was paying for top-notch food and service, not pretty seats. We had extremely fresh Tuna, the staff educated us on the types of cuts we were getting and just made us feel like we were best friends. Next time we have sushi it will be there

Dont let the purple building and the foothill location fool you, this restaurant is amazing.The staff is very welcoming and attentive. A perfect place to bring your family and kids or just a couple.There is a huge assortment of rolls, fresh and delicious. We tried 3 and will be back to try them all!The kids chicken teriyaki bowl is big and delicious. They set the kids up to feel special. Special plate and fork. Kids menu also comes with a surprise.We had the mochi ice cream for dessert!UPDATE! Went back again and tried some new rolls, yep delicious. Kids got chicken nuggets and French fries this time.I just noticed the eating area and view off the back deck. We will be eating there next time!

Was there for my 64th bday. The food was amazing. the service was amazing. The view was amazing & the Happy Birthday song was even better! You wont be disappointed.

The food was delicious, portions generous and sushi presentation was on point. But the warm welcoming treatment we received from the folks running this restaurant was above and beyond. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

My goodness, the friendliest & most customer service oriented food place I’ve been to. Going to places with kids is usually insanely stressful but not here. My kids were immediately given some toys to play with. They gave us kid safe cups, plates & utensils. The food was fresh & tasy as well. Glad to have found our sushi place. Left feeling full & relaxed. A must try❤️

Delicious bento box and a beautiful view from the back patio. Absolutely worth the stop, even if you have to make a u-turn to get there.

Always wondered about this place on the way to and from Tahoe. So glad we decided to stop this time. The service was amazing and the sushi was soo good. They’re super kid-friendly and even brought out some treats at the end for our son. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The staff are always so kind & treat my young kids so well! Love all the sushi and miso. Great spot to stop on the way home from snowboarding, however the road crossings on Hwy 50 have changed a bit so plan your route ahead of time.

Always great service, no wait, and amazing food! Very worth the extra couple minutes driving out of town! My son loves the chicken teriyaki, and the Mochi they give him for desserts. The staff always make him feel special when we visit. One time he unknowingly left a toy behind, and when we visited a couple weeks later, the server remembered and brought it right out to him and made his day! I love their vegetarian roll and gyoza, but most of all, the spicy Ramen is amazing! I dont usually order Ramen at sushi restaurants, but I do here! Very affordable compared to similar options, and superior service.
