2023-10-01 18:49:50Not impressed with the atmosphere. Had shrimp and scallops. The shrimp was chewy but the scallops were perfect! Best I have ever had. Its time to remodel the place. Dirty floors and walls. Prices are high for what you get.

2023-07-26 20:51:58Kinda felt like I had to waite on myself, server was talking to other employees rather than checking to see if we needed refills, napkins, to-go boxes or anything. Expected a little more for that 18% gratuity they tack on to your bill (we had a group of 10). Our chef was awesome - super friendly with the kids too.

2021-09-19 04:40:31If youre in the Chino area and are debating between Wabi Sabi and Shima... I recommend SHIMA 100%!For 4 reasons:1. SHIMA uses more garlic butter! If youre a garlic lover. . . SHIMA is the way to go! The way they season their scallops is 🔥 !2. Their fried rice, in my opinion, is better and more flavorful!3. They actually give you drink refills! At Wabi I feel Im always looking around for a server to order another drink. At Shima They were on top of their drink orders. And last but DEFINITELY not least. . .4. ALBERTO! He was our Teppan Chef and he was amazing! Super entertaining and an amazing cook! He cooked my steak to a PERFECT medium rare (pictured below) and was very attentive! Did I mention he also has some hilarious jokes (in spanish)! He had our whole table laughing! (*LITTLE TIP* buy your Teppan Chef a Sapporo/beer) trust me your kindness to your Chef will go a LONG way!Over all my first time dining at Shima was amazing! My first drink was a Yokozuna Martini which was good but too sweet for my liking! And I ordered their Shima steak with Calamari and added scallops! It was incredible!

2022-12-27 17:46:53If your in the mood for a teppanyaki restaurant style dinner, youll find Shima fits the bill. They have the spinning utensils, dad jokes, flying egg, plumes of fire, but most importantly, the food is good. Whether youre eating at the restaurant, or picking up an order, the food is consistent. As with most teppanyaki restaurants, it can get pricey once you start ordering sushi or alcoholic beverages, but youll have a good time nonetheless.

2018-08-07 16:44:544 stars.typical teppanyaki/ benihana style restaurant.food is tasty and portions are fine.prices are about normal for this type of food. Place looks ok but nothing special though. It is usually not too busy so you dont have to wait in line.
