Shogun Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

The food is great, probably one of the better hibachi experiences in the area. Weekends are packed. the usual wait time is around 30-45. Alcoholic drinks are tasty but at times can be really strong. Overall, if you want the hibachi experience, this is a great option! Also, the tables are larger for more room, which most can appreciate at these establishments.

Food was delicious! I had the filet mignon with sesame chicken. Wife enjoyed a tempura roll. Ambience is great. Our chef didn’t catch anyone’s eye brows on fire so that’s good. Plenty of food, we all took to go boxes.

Everything that the chef cooked in front of us was fresh. Service is another good reason to go. Great ambience and good food.

Our first time going and we weren’t disappointed. I have a chicken allergy and they were able to accommodate without issue. I got the shrimp and my husband got steak and shrimp. We each got a drink and everything was good. Chef & waitress were very attentive. The restaurant could use a bit of updating. We were there during the dinner rush and the ladies bathroom could have used some attention. All and all, good experience. We’ll be back.

I traveled for work and stopped by here for a quick bite. I ordered a half & half order of sushi consisting of a BBQ roll and the Mexican Roll! The BBQ roll with Shrimp tempura was really good!

Very nice, clean superb Japanese teppanyaki restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga area. This place far better than benihana. Try its chicken fried rice instead of the steamed rice. They will stir fry your rice in front of you. Seafoods and steaks were awesome. We were served by Art and he enjoyed his job of grilling and stir frying. I am going to come back to this place again. I had free dessert for my promotion!Families friends coworkers for dates any occasions are perfect. Next time I want to bring my bosses and clients here!

1st time the menu can be a bit overwhelming alot of drinks . Wanted to try one but nothing beats water. Restaurant was clean and friendly,just a bit of graffiti. Having someone make the food right in front of you with style was nice. Dauthers loved the onion volcano.Food was really good not hungry and food was still really good. Filet mignon with colossal shrimp combination was a good choice. Everything had a good taste. 5☆

Good quality and better prices than the more famous hibachi. Normal food and entertainment, this location does not stand out, however, when seated we witnessed over 12 birthday songs and celebrations. After the 6th song we quickly became annoyed with the overall quality of dining.The food was delicious and the staff were very very professional and kind.Enough food to have left over OR become very full upon completing the meal.Overall, this experience was pleasant, I would just recommend another fashion to recognize birthdays, as the continuous loud internments and song became quickly annoying to the average patron.

The food was great! My family enjoyed the meal and the show! The only problem was that they were a bit understaffed so it took us about an hour to get a chef. Once we did get our chef he was really attentative and took care of all our needs.

They use to have much better show, now they just go through few motions and cook with exuberant amount of butter. Sushi was not the best. However the waitress are very nice and attentive.
