My cousin recommended this place so we went here for early dinner (6pm). The restaurant had limited parking spot and lots of take out customers came. The dining area was pretty big with lots of tables. However, there was only 2 ladies serving all the tables & the take out orders, so it took a while to catch their attention for ordering.- Sichuan spicy crispy beef: delicious! The beef was super crispy yet the meat inside wasn’t tough. It was a tad sweet & very spicy. But we love it!- Spicy shredded potato: good. Potato was soft yet still had some crunch. Not too salty & good amount of spice.- Prawn with honey glazed walnut: super good! The prawn pieces were big & cooked perfectly. The honey glazed sauce was good - not too sweet & just enough sauce.Taste wise, the food was delicious! However, my only complaint was the portion. They were quite small for the price. After the 3 adults finished the meal, we were still a bit hungry. We would come back to try other items when we are in the area.

The food is spicy hot, but thats what Sichuan is all about. Ask them to reduce the heat or try dishes like braised tofu if you cant handle the heat. My favorite is the cumin lamb; it is very, very Sichuan.

Service: Horrible horrible service. We came in on a Saturday at 5 pm, right when they first opened. Not a lot of people and the server took our order rather quickly so we thought we will get served quickly. First of all, the server didnt even write down the orders while I was going it over with him, he seemed like he was confident he will remember all the orders, to which I didnt question because some people could be just that good. However, I was wrong. We sat around for 40 minutes, all the tables that came after us got served already. He kept coming by our table to ask if we order certain dish that was actually for another table close to us. First of all, if you cant remember peoples orders why dont you write them down or take some notes instead of constantly going up to the customer and asking them if they ordered something. That is very rude. Then after all the table around us got served, by now its 5:50, 50 minutes has passed after us just sitting around with nothing on the table, he finally came and asked me to make my orders again. He did not even apologize for not remembering the orders, rather, he tried to pull a fast one by saying he just wants to verify my order. After I attempted to make my whole orders again the second time, food came out immediately, which means for the first hour(almost) that we are sitting around with nada on our table, he forgot our whole order, and didnt even own up to his mistake nor show any signs of remorse for making us sit around for so long.Food: The food is just high on MSG and spice, its not really authentic Sichuanese cuisine (I am from around the Sichuan area). Id even say the food is over salted and over spiced to the point where you cant even taste what you are eating anymore.We came here because of the great reviews on google, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Please avoid this place if you can.

Delicious food! Very authentic Sichuan style Chinese food - great spicy flavor! Spicy level can be adjusted when ordering. Great environment and service, too! So many items and options on the menu. Can’t wait to try other dishes some time soon!

Happy to find a restaurant serving great Sichuan food outside a Chinatown. Service can be hit or miss for certain people, but its online with every good Sichuan place Ive been to. Very few exceptions in that space. Portions can be small, but the flavor isnt any different.

This is the best Sichuan Chinese restaurant in Contra Costa, possibly the East Bay. Nice and spicy if you ask them, lots of meat in their dishes, not too much filler. My favorite.

THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD OUTSIDE OF OAKLAND CHINATOWN. The only authentic Chinese restaurant east of the caldecott tunnel! Seriously, this place is good. On point flavors, solid portion sizes, and quality of ingredients are great - they always use fresh fish and veggies - they dont skimp on quality! Garlic garnishes are plentiful - its these little added touches that let you know the owners care about the quality of the food theyre serving. Service is great, the owners are friendly, the staff is always attentive, and the establishment is always kept pristine and clean. This truly is a hidden gem! Its located off the main-thoroughfare and not noticable from the street. Parking is super easy as they have their own private lot. If youre looking for authentic and delicious - go here. The fish in broth is next level. Ive been here many times and can definitively say this place is consistently fantastic!!!

Ridiculously good Sichuan food here. Try the Sichuan Boiled Fish (super spicy and amazing) and the Sichuan Lotus Roots (also wonderfully spicy and crunchy). I am a huge fan of Sichuan food and there arent many places out there that do it correctly. If spice is not your thing, they do all the other safe foods deliciously too. The Walnut Prawns are delightfully crisp and crunchy - and everything tastes extremely fresh.Oh and portions are very generous.

Incompetent waiter with no sense of empathy.Long wait time with due to an error on their end with no signs of remedy. Just expected us to pay at the end. As long as you get your profit right?
