Great restaurant! All the food was very good. The interior also felt very authentic.The mapo tofu was good though it is of the vegetarian type i.e. not with pork so it was missing a tad of flavor.The fried rice was also very good.The fried fish with chili was my favorite. It is the fish version of the chicken dish.

Just discovered this gem recently and have been back three times! I love Sichuan cuisine and this is now our go to place! I loved their generous and fragrant spicy boiled fish fillet, Chong Qing style chili chicken (our favorite dish!), Ma po tofu, tan tan noodles, and dry cook green bean!

This place is super cute, and has a lot of options for vegetarians! We got a veg mapo tofu, pulled cabbage and chow mein. All the flavors and textures hit the spot. The staff were also attentive and kind. Highly recommend coming back!

I spent a significant amount of time working in China with over six months in Chengdu. It’s very hard to find authentic Sichuan food in the USA, but this restaurants is excellent. By far one of the best Sichuan restaurants I have found in the US. Great food and wonderful staff.

Fantastic Chinese with Szechuan dishes near less touristy neighborhood. Food was fantastic and the prices are way more reasonable than you would find in official Chinatown. We had wonderful cold noodles heavy on the szechuan pepper but not heavy overall. Fantastic lamb dish with szechuan peppercorns, gingery chicken with peppers, and nice pork soup dumplings.

I’ve lived in China and traveled extensively in Sichuan Province. This is arguably the most authentic Sichuanese cuisine I’ve had anywhere in the Bay Area. Great combination of 麻 (má: numbing) and 辣 (là: spicy) flavors

Amazing and authentic Sichuan food! Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chili chicken and the whole roasted fish. My family loves spicy food so we thought some of the dishes could be spicier, but they had great flavor and numbing spice from the sichuan peppercorns. Good portion sizes for sharing as well.

Very solid Sichuan food. Most of it is very tasty and super spicy. The only ones I didnt love was the hot and sour soup and the cauliflower dish, but everything else was great!

Every single dish was amazing and Ive tried so many dishes here. This place never fails to amaze me. They serve in record breaking speed too. If you want authentic Sichuan but cant take much spice, this is the place for you. Of course you prefer it more numbing and spicy, you can always request more!

Food here is amazing. Went in for our late lunch around 4 on Tuesday. They were very welcoming for our party of 8. Ended up ordering more than we could finish, but all dishes were unique and perfectly cooked. The only disappointment was pork shoulder in hot garlic sauce. It is very tender but was too sweet for our liking.The server was nice and did warn us that we were ordering more than enough. Crispy fish fillet, golden spare ribs, dry green beans and cumin lamb were some of the dishes that stood out. Forgot to take the pictures since we were hungry and couldn’t wait to dig in those delicacies.

We order kung pao tofu, eggplant with hot garlic sauce, and rice, asking for it to be not too spicy. Even though she noted that, it was very spicy. The food was otherwise generally good, though it was made with way too much oil.

Just came out of the restaurant, after unexpected stop in SF. Wow the chili oil is amazing. Their chef is from Sichuan region and brew their own sauce. The Mao po tofu and spicy fried fish are simply amazing and the price is intensive. Definitely coming back again.

Great Sichuan food and really nice family working here. The food comes out fast, hot, and delicious. Theyre really accommodating for vegetarian diets; my staples going to any Sichuan restaurant are always: mapo tofu, dan dan noodles, and the spicy chili cabbage. You cant go wrong with those dishes. The scallion pancakes are also good here -- not too thick and doughy, lots of flaky layers and fried to a perfect crisp. Hot and sour soup is a solid A here as well. Love that they add things like bamboo shoots and woodear, which a lot of restaurants tend to skimp on.

This has to be my favorite sichuan restaurant in SF and even the Bay Area. Really authentic and some of our favorites are the chili oil fish and beef, beef cilantro soup, fried rice, and noodles. Definitely recommend if you are looking for some really good Chinese food.

Great food and wonderful staff. I’ve eaten here literally dozens of times!I would recommend the House Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. It comes with plenty of pleasantly mouth-numbing Sichuan peppercorns. The cartilage-heavy beef might be a bit strange for plain Jane western pallets, but it adds to the gelatinous deliciousness of the broth.If you like that flavor but don’t want beef, try the spicy boiled fish fillet. ~$20 but it’s quite a large portion.Worth a try—you might come back as often as I! ;)

Do not get the chicken in salty water. Its full of bones and skin. A third is edible. We minus the spice and dont really understand the dish even with spice. A bowl of salty water, and you can not drink as soup. Xiao long bao was okay. The beef roll with green onion was good. The service was great and fast. Turniver is the key.

Very fast and tasty. The menu is kinda designed to encourage dining as a party - ordering the General Taos chicken, for example, will get you a very large sum of chicken. Splitting the cost of multiple meal items is recommended.

The House Special Beef Noodle Soup are absolutely amazing for around $12, and this comes from someone very picky about noodle dishes. The noodles actually have a texture when youre eating them. Stretchy, teethy, and strong. The beef broth is richly flavorful and the Sichuan Chili Oil that tops it is a great numbing compliment. The beef served with was stewed to tender perfection. Absolutely amazing bowl of noodles and truly a masterclass in noodle dishes.

We had been looking for some good Sichuan food for years - we tried New York restaurants but were disappointed at some of the fundamental dishes. This place is the BEST!! Cold Sichuan noodle were perfect, excellent mala - we had the boiled spicy fish soup and it was exquisite, also the cumin spiced beef was delicious. Didnt have room to try any other dishes but they all looked good. Also - the wait staff here are super lovely - our server was extremely friendly and accomodating, was very helpful. And it is BYO so you can buy your favourite cold beer to bring to help cool down the spicy food!!! We will definitely be back. Its also in a cute area so if you want to ride a bike past the Golden Gate bridge and down into Richmond its a nice early evening adventure.

Went here with my boo and it was FIRE. The food was on point. We got sweet and sour chicken and it was so crispy. Flavors were so good it was almost tangible. Got take out and ordered online to pick up for the first time today. I thought the food was pretty good BUT I asked for no MSG on all my food. I got a horrible MSG headache about 15 minutes after I finished. The rest of the day is ruined, I have to go to bed and I feel really awful. NOT OK! Beware of this restaurant if you’re sensitive to MSG. 😖

I was driving with a few friends and accidentally discovered that a new restaurant had opened here. During the epidemic, I felt that the owner who had the courage to open a new restaurant must be confident in his own skills, so I decided to go in and give it a try. I saw that the venue set up by the store outside was good. Its a pity that its already freezing in San Francisco in the evening, so youd better sit inside. I ordered several of them. My personal favorite is the crab roe tofu. The spicy beef jerky is also good. It would be even better if you add some Sichuan peppercorn oil. Quietly and the beautiful proprietress As I said 😄, the pork belly with bean sprouts, alternate between fat and lean, was so delicious that all the plates were gone in a while. The crispy pork was also so fragrant and crispy. It was paired with the sweet and sour sauce on the side and a little Mexican pepper. The texture was... Absolutely amazing👍. The last thing I want to say is that as soon as you enter the store, there is a carp light mirror on the wall, which is special. There is also a huge rockery outside, which is surprising. The beautiful proprietress said that you can hold parties here. Friends can come here to party after the epidemic gets better. This is a hotel that looks inconspicuous on the outside, but once you enter, it’s a different kind of place.
