Pretty darn good food. The curry was spicy and delicious and easily split by two people. Great beer, but dont miss the separate gift ship and brewery taproom with official tours and some self guided areas, as well as Ms Pacman and table shuffle board upstairs while you drink

Went in at 5pm on Monday. Was seated right away. Lots of kids in the restaurant which i felt good about bringing my 2 years old. Everything we ordered was great.Our Server was fantastic.

Great place for a quick meal. The beer here is on point and quite yummy.Came back again today, 12/23. Had the Cajun Gumbo, WOW!! Amazing. The other 3 had excellent food as well. Mine was the only one I took a picture of. Love the good, atmosphere here, super friendly staff. We will be back.

The food and beer is very good. However, their portions are too small for what they are charging. You could do better at other places in town. My date ordered the salmon and I ordered a burger. I gave her half of my burger because her salmon was a minnow and we both left hungry. I think I counted 12 French fries on my plate.

This place is just beautiful inside and out! Service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. Incredible flavors, fresh veggies, and portion sizes that were just right! The sausage appetizer was so tasty! Each sausage had a different flavor and mixed well with the fermentation and mustards. The Philly sandwich was so tasty and the quinoa salad with chicken was a perfect summer dish! Dessert was the blueberry bread pudding and it was fantastic, warm and so sweet!

Good food, good service! The presentation of their entrees is beautiful! I highly recommend the pretzel with beer cheese; we liked it so much that we had to order another! The restaurant itself is very nice and modern. They have a great selection of beer and we enjoyed the flights.

Ive seen a lot changes happen throughout the years at Sierra Nevada and after having dinner there yesterday, I can say Ill be going back soon! Everything (except the fries) was perfectly cooked and has such good flavor. We ordered the fish & chips with a Caesar salad and the Rooster sando with garlic fries. Then we ordered the Spring Pavlova for dessert. It was so good that we finished the whole thing. Its seasonal, so get it while you can.

This was my first time back in several years, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant has had several updates, which makes the eating experience more pleasant. I ordered a medium rare new york steak my only complaint is that it had residual silverskin still present however the taste was comparable to a Michelin 5 star restaurant. My fiancé ordered that nights special the ahi tuna plate, she was more then pleased. We also ate the creme brulee, which is incomparable to any other location I was amazed by the taste and whole experience.

I love this beer. Its my go to and to visit here was awesome. Food was great beer was awesome, wasnt a fan of the seltzer water. Dont forget to visit the Visitor Center and get yourself a souvenir. Staff was really nice as well, and the smell of hops when you walk in is a cool experience.

Im personally not a beer drinker, but my husband liked it. Able to sample as well as order flights. The restaurant was very nice, our service was good, the food was very good except they forgot the feta on my house salad. No biggie, ate it anyway and they charged us less for the salad. Entrees are very large portions. The homemade rolls were delicious.

Thank you for a great dining experience. This was many of our groups first time at Sierra Nevada and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Sitting on the patio was perfect especially with our big double stroller. We were checked on often and everything we ordered came out quickly. Would definitely go back anytime I visit Chico.

They do more than just beer right. It appears that everything Sierra Nevada touches turns to gold, that is especially true of their food. I did not expect a brewery to have world-class food, I expected it to be delicious and juicy, but not five star Worthy. Just like their beers they put focus, attention, and passion into their food. Ive never had beer cheese as delicious as this and I wish I could have bought a gallon of it. Their chicken Was juicy, flavorful, and crunchy. Their service in my opinion was exceptional, are beers never went empty. And the lentil Burger was an exceptional choice for someone who chooses to not eat meat. the only thing that I would have done differently is out of beer cheese to it. Haha. Seriously the beer cheese is to die for. I cannot say enough good things about the experience, or the food. Final note is that the restaurant itself is so beautiful, and has such gorgeous copper accents. I cant wait to go back. If youre reading this, dont hesitate, just go and enjoy and be sure to grab all the specialty beer that you cant find anywhere else.

Stopped for dinner while traveling through Chico and dinner did not disappoint. Ordered a Malted Balsamic Salad with Salmon. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the greens had just enough dressing. Was wishing for a little more cheese crumbles but thats just because they were so tasty! It was also a beautiful night and enjoyed dining at the patio bar.

Reservation required but both the inside and outside bar are open seating (no reservation required) fish and chips amazing the fries are literally the best weve had, the tartare sauce was yum. The Weiss pizza is SUPER DELICIOUS (make sure to squeeze the grilled lemon on the pizza, its amazing) salad was delicious, wings were delicious, ice tea meh....service was quick and thorough. Atmosphere is good, patio has shade, fans, and misters.

If you love IPAs, thats your place to go. Were enjoyed our time at the inside bar. Lots of polished copper, from air ducts to columns, nicely decorated creating a good atmosphere at the bar. Some of the room needs more fun deco since it more linear in color (entrance wall).Super delicious pizza, bacon and peach! Perfect to soak up that extra beer. Loved the wheat beer 🍺 and crystal since IPA are like motor oil to me (lol).

Always love the beer. The food has changed over the years. I have been a long time pattern of Sierra Nevada. There frys have changed and not in s good way. The staff are great. I know that they got a new chef and she is probably filling things out. Please go back to the old frys.

Not a huge fan of store bought Sierra Nevada, but the have an excellent day selection at the brewery. The food is top notch, and despite being extremely busy, service was outstanding. Atmosphere is unprecedented, and I like the fact that they are completely self sustaining.

Been wanting to visit the home of my favorite beer forever, finally had the chance, was not disappointed. Food was amazing, fresh, local, classic pub dishes with just enough original touch to be familiar but exciting. Beer tasted even better than it usually does (as expected at the source). Service was excellent, restaurant interior is open and spacious with available outdoor patio seating. Will definitely visit again.

Had a nice meal with my team from work. The shrimp po boy was tasty, the beer cheese and pretzel appetizer is great and for the people not into beer Id suggest their shakes because they never disappoint.Service was fast, friendly, and helpful.The only negative thing is just how loud it is in the main room, if the weather is nice try to sit outside on the patio.

The craft beer! Oh, the craft beer! Working on the road, as I often do, and being a lover of delicious craft beer, the Sierra Nevada Taproom and Restaurant pulls me in like a thirsty moth to a lit up beer light.The Taproom/Restaurant is on the grounds of the brewery mere minutes off of CA 99. Theres plenty of parking and the tantalizing aromas of beer brewing in progress waft generously through the air.Twice Ive visited and twice Ive had a superior experience.My first visit was a tasters delight. Heres my tasting notes from that visit (not super detailed, just basic impressions):Kellerweis: soft, velvety beer. Unfiltered wheat. Delish.Otra Vez: wow. The grapefruit and prickly pear flavors really stand out. Lively, zesty. Damn good. Refreshing. Tangy.Old Chico Brand Crystal Wheat: filtered wheat, crisp, clean finish. Light bodied.Summerfest: just released today. Pilsner style Lager. Crisp finish. Healthy carbonation.Knightro: nitrogenated. Creamy Stout.Bigfoot: 2017: massive flavor roasted malt and major hops. Hearty and ggggrrrreeeaaattt.Black IPA: pretty lively carbonated for an IPA. Nice subtle roast finish.Audition-American Barleywine: creamy and hoppy, but not overbearing in the least. Caramel and toffee malt-induced sweetness.Sidecar Orange Pale Ale: Tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Rather light.Tropical Torpedo IPA: nice changeup on the Torpedo IPA. The fruitiness comes from the Hop varieties used, not from a fruit infusion.Old Chico Brand Pale Bock: damn good, really really good.Beer Camp Golden IPA: another winner.Sausage Platter: sauerkraut was crisp and tangy. Sausages were tasty and satisfying.During my second visit, I knocked back a pint of their East Coast Style meets West Coast Style Twin Tides Double IPA. Plenty of Hop flavor and citrus without any cloying sweetness made this an easy drinking and fine flavored Ale. I followed with a pint of their Audition Salted Caramel Scotch Ale. Lots of maltiness with a little smoke on the finish.Their Buffalo Wings ably staved off my hunger pangs. Drummies were well sized, but the wings needed to grow up some. Flavor was great throughout so I have no complaints.They offer both bar, dining room and outdoor seating. Inside is beautifully adorned while the outdoor area shines best when the sun does.Both times I had superior table service and easy friendliness at the host/hostess station upon walking through the adorned doors.The Sierra Nevada Taproom and Restaurant is a must for those who enjoy good food, delicious craft beer or both. Go by yourself or with a group, but just go!

Even before the renovation, this place has always been a great place to grab a nice and filling lunch. Offerings range from standard pub fare to unique and exotic picks such as various schniztels, sandwiches and pizzas. All their ingredients are locally sourced, and raised in an environmentally friendly area. I would recommend this place as a must-visit for those from out-of-town. Parking can be an issue when it is busy, however there is an overflow lot in walking distance of the entrance.

We came here on a Monday evening to celebrate a birthday. Our party was 14 people and they did a great job accommodating us. Our server was Paul and he did a great job with service. We are use to being neglected because of our party size but did not experience that at all. Portions are decent size I ordered fish and chips came with 2 pieces of fish. Wife ordered pull pork only negative was that it was very smokey flavored.

Always have a great meal and a great time here. The menu, although not expansive, has something for everyone. My fiance and I are Vegan, and we can always find at least one item on the menu, and its always amazing! My family members are big, red meat eaters, and they, too, have never been disappointed with the selection, or the meals themselves. Then theres the beer. Im really picky about beer, and only like one with a ton of hops. Sierra Nevada stopped offering the Triple Hoptimum, which was the only beer of theirs I enjoyed, but the rest of my family enjoys sampling and sharing the other beers they offer.The service is very good and the ambiance is nice, although it can get rather loud later in the day. All-in-all, Sierra Nevada Taproom is a great place for a great meal, beer, and get together.Their menu changes somewhat with the seasons, because they offer farm-to-table meals, so be sure to check it out online before you go if youre a picky eater.

We’ve eaten here for many years and love the vibe and the food. We had a slight issue a few times recently, with Take out orders not being a comparable serving size to when we actually dine in. I called to inform the manager (who was very friendly &professional and he let me know that he’d immediately look into making sure this doesn’t become a continuing issue. The food was okay- mediocre at best. I ordered the seafood pasta. It was supposed to consist of shrimp, salmon, and scallops. I received two scallops, 3 shrimp, and crumbled salmon with bow tie pasta. My husband ordered the lemon brick chicken. The chicken was more like blacked chicken, as the skin was burnt. All tasted okay. As an appetizer, we got the pretzel with beer cheese. Which was amazing. Beer was great. Service was not so great. Our server got our order and brought us our food like regular. But she never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything else. When we were done, someone else picked up our plates. And I had to search our server out to get our check. We literally waited 20-30 minutes after we finished our meals to pay for them.

First time visiting, I town from Pacific Northwest. 1st off service was wonderful, thank you Marco and Kai👏👏2nd..food VERYgood, although the chorizo on the charcuterie had wonderful flavor it should have a little spicy warning flag. The pickled veggies helped calm that down. 3rd The wood fire pizza crust realy nicely done.(only one tiny notation for me...it was a bit greasy) Overall great experience glad we made this a stop on our road trip. Side note hubby really loved the beer🤭!!

So the beer is always good from Sierra Nevada, and originally I had given them a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the day after we visited, two members of our party were sick with what appears to be food poisoning. They had the same dish (shared), while the rest of us did not and both of them had massive stomach issues that night and through the following day.Fortunately, everything appears to be okay now, but having been excited to visit and then finding out that this has happened quite a bit, I think Ill stick with getting beers only and skip the restaurant.

This used to be a really great place. Long wait, 45 minutes on a Wednesday with open tables visible throughout our wait. The menu has shrunk considerably, prices are WAY up, service was SLOW….. Gone is the complimentary bread and olive oil/vinaigrette, the carpets have been replaced with something that looks cheap, and the menu….. Ugh

I live in Florida and this was a second attempt to visit this taproom. (Last year they were closed.) In spite of the dinner rush, we were seated and served quickly. We inquired about purchasing items in the gift shop and the waitress responded that it would be no problem. Fast forward about an hour and we asked for the check, mentioning that we were going to walk around a bit to include going to the gift shop. Only then did she say, oh, sorry, the gift shop is closed. They close at 7 pm I glanced at my phone to see that it was barely two minutes after 7pm. She had allowed us to sit in the dining room (which stays open until 9pm) that entire time, knowing we wanted to spend MORE MONEY in the establishment, without once mentioning the gift shop hours. Then, instead of immediately trying to make it right (could a manager have gotten us in real quick? Or retrieve the item we wanted and adding to the check?) she became a bit defensive and made excuses about how she wasnt used to working the evening shift, etc.It just left a little sour taste in my mouth. Chico is a bit off the beaten path and it takes some effort to make the detour if you are traveling mostly on I-5. And this was my second attempt to tick this box of visiting the taproom, on one of my occasional trips out west to visit my brother.I doubt I will attempt a third trip. The beer was good, the food so-so, and the service left quite a bit to be desired. Sierra Nevada used to be unique and cool, but theyve become a bit too big for their britches. We would have been better off (and saved a LOT of time) if instead we had chosen one of the many smaller taprooms located closer to the interstate. And I just about guarantee we would have left with some merch.

I hadn’t been here in about 4 years, and being a brewer, it’s a must! Well, after driving a couple hours out of my way, I found the brewpub closed for renovations, yet nothing via Google Maps indicated this. Luckily, my departure to Alaska was delayed and I could make it back—I tried today. Boy I picked the wrong day. Super crowded (good for them). To try any beer I had to sit outside in the cold (good thing I’ve lived in really cold climates the last decade). Man, the server I got was by far the worst I’ve had in recent memory. Now I’m not a hard person to please when it comes to service, but when it takes over 5 minutes for a 4-beer flight when there are only three other parties outside, it has me wondering. I was solo and no one else was, so maybe he’s doing a cost benefit analysis of tips for people eating and drinking vs. the flight guy. I wanted food, but he didn’t offer—I don’t like to be pushing and let servers do their thing. He never did his thing. After 20 minutes of receiving a food menu, spending 1 minute, deciding and closing the menu – 20 minutes after sitting down and placing a beer order – I gave up. I don’t want to snap my fingers at him like a slave, so I sat looking up and not engaged in anything else for a bit while he took care of everyone around me. Was it because I was wearing a Deschutes sweatshirt?? (I was also wearing a Resilience T-shirt just after having cake down from surveying Paradise, too, underneath.) I also found a shred of glass in my Kellerweis sample—luckily for me I swished it around in my mouth a little and it landed on a molar and I noticed before swallowing. Still, another 10 minutes later, still nothing from my server. I’ve finished my Resilience that came out with my menu a half hour ago. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve been to thousands of establishments around the world, and I’m getting to feeling someone has put a white supremacy sticker on me. I guess he didn’t want to disturb me and my longing for food and drink. I can respect that, I guess. Just not what I’d expect from one of the most pivotal and best breweries in the world.

Yesterday was our 2nd visit, we returned because our 1st experience was so great. I wont put our servers name on here, but boy, she did not seem thrilled to be there was our 1st impression. Beer was good, fries were cold and they tasted like they were either reheated or sat under the lamp much too long, barely ate them. When we mentioned to our server we didnt care for them we got crickets. Ketchup and ranch we requested with the fries didnt come with order, tried to get the attention of 2 other servers with no acknowledgement. Ordered the pretzel as we enjoyed it on our previous visit, my hubs only likes yellow mustard which they had last time. Not this time so he didnt eat it. Fairly disappointed in overall experience.

Went in mid-day on a Saturday and was pretty quickly seated. By the time we left there was a stream of people waiting.They offer a full selection of beers in half pints, pints, crowlers, and growlers as well as flights. The food selection was also well appointed, however I did not order anything. Others in my party enjoyed the items they ordered.Be prepared to dine in a large location that looks like a Spaghetti Factory (not what I was expecting for a brewery).

I was pleasantly surprised at how great my favorite Sierra Nevada beer (Summer Break) tasted from the tap as well!The pastrami turned out to be too roast beef-like and dry unfortunately, but everything else was so good and interesting it cant be anything but a 5-star. Well be back.UPDATE 2022: After 5 visits this year I had to downgrade to a 3-star. The quality of the food just hasnt been good. The fish and chips seem to be balls of greasy fish these days, the new pork belly bahn mi on the menu is a mess, the pizzas arent good, and worst of all that great chicken sandwich has been cooked poorly every time. Its a shame. I think well stop coming for a while.

I didnt dislike it at Sierra Nevada but it was a little more fancy style place than I was expecting. Its marketed as a Taproom and Restaurant which is fine but I thought I was going into a more laid back brewery vibe. The food was really good but a little more on the pricey side than I had expected. They have lots of awesome beers to choose from and the flight is the way to go! I would say a major drawback was that you have to have a reservation, my party and I tried to go one day but didnt realize we needed a reservation, not sure if its just a COVID thing or Normal but either way they didnt advertise that anywhere until we walked in. Overall good experience but if youre looking for more low key and lower price point than theres plenty of other breweries to go to.

I only come here once every year or two when visiting family but the experience is always top notch. The staff is very helpful and even when there’s a wait you feel like you’re being taken care of. The quality of the food is amazing and the portions are great for the price. My only suggestion for improvement from this last visit was that they didn’t have a lot of unique stuff on tap. They did have a ton of beers but it was mostly stuff you can find in cans and bottles. That being said l, the half a dozen or so unique offerings were pretty phenomenal.

The service is amazing! The place was just reopened after a long refurbishment. The camp fire really hit folks hard here. Its amazing how much the community has bonded together to regroup.On the totally practical side, I will say that the beer selection is creative and tasty. The Reuben (which I have always considered a very good gauge of a pub) was excellent. Even my usually vegetarian companion enjoyed it. Great offerings.The staff was very comfortable with us setting up computers and working for a couple of hours. Attentive without being intrusive.

Had an amazing experience at this taproom. Arguably the best service I have ever had. The wait was 90min but we asked to sit outside with the heaters and we sat down in about 10min. Drinks came out almost immediately with a huge beer list to choose from, food was delicious with a very short wait, and our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. I got the burger with Vampire fries and both were pretty good. The meat if from Chico States farm which I thought was pretty neat and they cooked it to order -- medium, as requested. Overall this place is great. The food, beer and service is excellent. The only thing I dont like is the growler policy. They dont allow you to bring your own. For all the focus on sustainability, they wont let you use your own growler (I use a 64oz Drinktank which every other brewery Ive been to has been happy to fill). They are happy to sell you a new glass growler in spite of your own though...I write this to mainly get this absurd rule changed. The restaurant is an excellent place to get some great beer and food.

Its okay. The beer is their beer. Some people like it, some dont. Ive found a couple I like (Torpedo, Bigfoot). The food seems like its getting worse and the portions smaller. The pizzas my wife gets consistently come burned black and tasting like carbon. Theres a fine line there and whoever is doing the pizza hasnt found it. The fish and chips taste okay, but they have shrunk down to two small pieces of cod and 4-6 ounces of fries. My 3-year old can finish it and ask for a snack. Not very impressive for a flagship restaurant.

The Taproom has seriously gone downhill for several years now. My family and I went a few days ago, the food was just okay not up to par like they used to be in the years past. Wow. Ive recently moved to California and this is by far my favorite dining experience. We came in and had a very short wait. We sat outside where they have misters and ceiling fans. Its 100 degrees out and it feels fantastic outside. I sampled 4 different beers for $3.00 and found a beer Im in love with. Its called the BFD(beer for drinking) I definitely recommend it. I didnt take the tour of the brewery but I will next time I come. The food came out in a reasonable time and taste great. This will be where I bring friends from out of state when they come to visit.

One of the first craft brewers and still great. Mega property with nice restaurant and great beers served inside and out but no dogs allowed, yet. Well priced and always something new they are trying out. Plus you can get some rare bottles to try there or take home.

One of the best places to eat in Chico and some of the best beer around. I do miss the old days, when my husband and I would stop in for some fabulous onion rings. It was more of a pub back then, but the evolution into a fine dining restaurant just made it better. Although I havent had it in a long time (I moved away), the Friday clam chowder was simply the best Ive ever had, anywhere.

Im sad to say that I have to change my review. I grew up with Sierra Nevada, and I used to love going here for lunch or dinner. But the menu is constantly changing. Something that you loved one day can be gone the next, so its always a gamble every time you eat there. Not only that, but the quality of the food has seemed to decline. I genuinely like this place, but I dont think that its worth it with the way it is right now.

We went on the private tour of the brewery today. Very interesting to learn the story of rags to riches by the founder that had a vision and continues to stick with it today even though he doesnt have to. Integrity.Great beer, great food and great customer service. I highly recommend going on a tour if you have time or at least have a few beers and dinner

Much better experience before the renovation. The new layout has some plusses, but overall I feel its a step backwards. I appreciate the expanded menu, but the new items our family tried were supar. I am normally a fan of of a BBQ chicken pizza, but it was lacking in BBQ flavor. I found the peppers overpowered all the other flavors. Overall a disappointing visit to one of my favorite local places.

When we first got there the waiter argued about putting my mother in the shade and moving the table three feet. Everything has changed. No bread anymore with aioli and when I asked the water said it may never come back because of the owners decision. There menu is very small now. No more beer cheese burger or half of the awsome items they had..Service was ok just not what it used to be. Ill change my review if it gets better but really sad to see how they are running this place now.

Great brewpub if in a bit out of the way town. Unless you have business in Chico with the college, most people would never go here. However, the food is great, beer is great, and the prices, both in the restaurant and in the gift shop, are actually quite fair. $4 pints and $20 t-shirts. Great deal all around.

Best Restaurant in Chico. You have to be aware that it will be busy and plan when to go accordingly, but the beer selection is awesome, the food is always excellent and the prices are reasonable. The Brewery is our favorite place to go out to get some good food! I have never tried anything on the menu that I didnt think was very good. Service from the staff is always friendly and efficient. It does get noisy in there during busy times, but that is true at lots of places. The beautiful wood and copper decor is worth the extra noise.

The food was decent pub grub, lot of space and a beautifully designed space with a lot of wood and outdoorsy art make this a good tap room and restaurant. Youll find SNs standard beers on draft as well as a whole bunch of non-typical experimental beers as well. Its almost like the brewers use the taphouse to test out their new beers and get them dialed before they go macro. Not dog friendly on patio. Nice staff, they were definitely busy.

I loved the service, prices, food, beer, but people will scream the happy birthday song with the entirety of the place, often multiple times a night. Also my friend brought an expired ID so they caught that, but didnt catch my expired IL, ID amusingly. The owner came by and refunded her beer and took the half she had left. So not quite 5 stars, but understandable. Dont forget your current ID, should be obvious but you might not get away with an expired one.

The food is so good!!! This was my first time here and I had the beer cheese and pretzels as an app and the fish and chips for my lunch. It was amazing! Nice thick fish and the beer batter...they nailed it! It was a little pricey but so worth it!

Love this place. Great beer, food, and service. Along with Sierras amazing beers that are available all over, they typically have a few on two that are only available at the brewery. You can also go to the gift shopband get some of those in cans or bottles to take home, if course the have growlers available also.The good is very good too, I recommend you try the Sierra Nevada burger which has amazing Sierra Nevada beer cheese on it.

If you are visiting Chico, Sierra Nevada is a must visit place. Its food is high end and its beer is the pride of our city! If you are going on the weekends so I recommend the communal seating. The service is much slower, but you get seated right away.

If you are coming to enjoy the beer, then I hear its great. If you are going for the food, it has gone down to a low quality with a high price. When others are saying the same thing, the food was horrible, its time to let others know. Its too bad, the privious menu had the trio, great for gluten free diets, and other deliscious items. All gone, its all battered, or sandwich type filler foods that are not even good, The garlic fries tasted good, but most want healthy food. We wont go back. Too expensive too.

We arrived there at 4 oclock. The acoustics in the dining area are horrible! You have to yell just to be heard. We think they have added so many tables to increase the capacity, that there are just too many people in the place. Also, we werent impressed with the menu choices at all. I must say Im loathe to give the Taproom a 1 star because I adore Sierra Nevada but the food was absolutely horrible on Sunday June 23rd 2019. I came with my wife, my mother and her boyfriend. There was something wrong with each persons dish.Between the 4 of us we ordered a ribeye, a pizza, and two burgers.The ribeye came with brussel sprouts that were raw, it had a weird pesto butter sauce on it that wasnt described on the menu. I was surprised by the quality of the meat for a $30 something steak.Half of the pizza was burn fairly bad, Im talking black crust. Im surprised they let it out of the kitchen.My wife and I ordered medium burgers and mine came out medium rare and my wifes was straight up rare. I wanted to send hers back but she doesnt like to cause problems. I asked for the macaroni pasta and it had absolutely no flavor, I had to add their pale ale mustard to it to make it have any taste at all. My wife had the potato salad and it was actually quite good, probably the best thing that was served.My wife and I didnt complain but my mother did complain about the pizza and they did remove it from her bill (only about half of it was edible).Im not really sure what happened, this was probably one of the worst restaurant experiences weve had in a very long time. It felt like they had absolutely zero quality control. To boot there were a lot of flies inside for some reason. We killed about 3 at the table.I didnt have any beer during our visit but it is always of the highest calibre. I would suggest that anyone who visits the Taproom to fill up their growler and have dinner somewhere else.

The restaurant was closed and the gift shop was open for curbside pickup... supposedly. There was a phone number on the A-frame sign board in front of the gift shop. There was an employee just inside the door. We walked up to the door, which was locked and we were ignored. We called the phone number and no one answered. We stood out front for about 5 minutes and noone came out. A car parked in the customer pick up parking spot and at least as long as we were there, noone came out to help. We were very disappointed. It wouldnt have been so bad, but there was an employee right I side the door on a computer and she absolutely just ignored us.

Nice, simple menu with good flavors. Coconut chicken curry soup was really good.For beer I had the Marzen Oktoberfest and the Narwhal Imperial Stout. I already knew theyd be great, and they delivered on my expectations.The fruity IPAs are just okay. No reservations on a Saturday night, the wait was slightly longer than the 15-25 minutes we were given, long enough to look at each other and verbally approach the subject of going somewhere else. But as we decided, our little pager lit up like a Christmas tree. We sat outside, all of us having brought our jackets - alas, the radiant heaters were perfectly placed.While I dont drink alcohol, my friends enjoyed the beers on tap.Im just sorry I havent been back sooner. Burger was solid. Tried the Summer Break session IPA when we got back to Sacramento. It was delicious. Now trying the 2021 Hoptimum, very smooth for an 11% beer.
