Hand down the best Chinese food you can get in the bay area. Or family had been going here for many years and Simon treats us like his brother/sisters. He recommend new dishes for us to try all the time, they are so tasty!We can go anywhere and get quick food but silver spoon makes you feel so cared for. West lake shop is delicious, salt pepper spare ribs or shrimp are perfect, mushu pork had a great balance of meat and vegetables. Water is served in a large chilled glass bottle, definitely a detail many places over look.I am amazed they remember most customers names and Simon use to sing and perform in the evenings. Seriously a pleasant place to go.

My family and I have been going here for nearly a decade and for good reason!The service and staff are impeccable and generous. The food is to die for! They also offer a delicious selection for import beer. My partner and I decided on the Blueberry Ale. It complimented our dishes perfectly.These are some of my favorite dishes that I was able to capture before devouring (I am missing a photo of their Lettuce Wraps& Moo Shu Pork, or as we joked Chinese Tacos& Burritos).

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Ordered take-out and completely uneatable. The only thing full was our trash can and ended up throwing it all away!Honestly, Safeway food would have been better.1. Chow Mien looked AND tasted like half a bottle of SoySauce was duped in it, not to mention the combo was shy ofall proteins, we counted 1 shrimp; completely uneatable.2. Fried rice was the opposite. Under seasoned, bland anddry; Adding a touch of soy sauce made it worse..3. Orange Chicken was beyond sweet! If you want to end up in adiabetic coma order this. No flavor of a touch sour or heat likeany other orange chicken Ive eaten, that too went in the trash.

Great service in a nice atmosphere. Food is cooked well. Flavors are not as distinct as I was hoping they would be in some dishes.

We ordered food to go for a party and everything was perfect! Veggie chow mien, beef with broccoli and orange chicken were all a hit. Call and ask for Simon and he will take care of you!

Havent eaten here in years. Now, I know why. Visited here for dinner. Place was less than half full, so I figured Id be in and out. Well, that didnt happen, unfortunately. Got seated, after two pairs of patrons stepped right in front of me [I guess, being a lone diner doesnt count for first come/first served]. Finally got seated, given the menu and my bottled water. I knew what I wanted but the waitress took a bit of time getting back to me, so I could order [she spent a lot of time going in and out of the kitchen, coming out with nothing]. She was the only waitress available [part of the timing/help problem here, at this place].I finally got to order a bowl of won ton soup and veggie pot stickers. I was hoping to get them at around the same time, which didnt happen. The soup came out first and then the pot stickers, about 25-minutes later. I know PSs take a bit longer but 25-minutes is a bit much. So, I ate the soup, waited for the PSs [eating both, items separately]. Which was NOT my plan. Consequently, the soup was decent tasting but only had about 6 won tons and very few veggies. Tasty but it really had half a bowl of ingredients. The late PSs were almost tasteless [there were 6 of them], so I used some hot chili paste to jazz them up, along with the supplied soy-liquid mixture [which was unbelievably sweet - strangely so]. The food taste was just OK, even though the PSs were bland. Pricing here is good/very reasonable.Overall, the service was terrible [hence, one star given]. While the waitress was cordial [and apologetic], she needed more help [even one additional waitress would have been better]. Having one waitress serving about 20-tables [most were empty, however] was puzzling, especially for a Sat evening. I would say, if youre not in a hurry, this place is OK. Dont order the veggie PSs, order the pork PSs. Order the wor won ton soup and not the won ton soup. I saw someone else have the wor won ton soup and that won ton serving was better/more won ton - another 2-bucks per bowl. I might return to see if service is better but there are so many very good chinese food places in our area that do a much better job at service. I also noticed their take out business was brisk but lots of take-out customers were challenging their bills. Hmmmm.

This was our first time ordering from the Silver Spoon Gourmet Cuisine and we loved it. The sweet and sour soup was tye best we have had so far. The veggie rice and noodles were delicious and the Mongolian beef was fire! Everything was wonderful The service is excellent and welcoming. Very friendly. We will definitely order again. Highly recommend!

This place was recommended to us by our AirBNB owner Erik. I suffer from celiacs so findind food I can eat on our travels is difficult. Our server Simon was extremely helpful with my dietary issues. I felt safe enough to ask him to make me a Chicken stir fry with a few suggestions from me. He ordered me GF ginger chicken and GF Chicken Fried Rice. I have to say it was amongst the best low sodium meal I have ever had. The flavor was so much better then soy sauce based meals. I recommended this place if you have any dietary issues and ask for Simon. I want to stop here again before we leave town.

It’s difficult to find chicken and snow peas in the local Chinese restaurants. Silver Spoon has it and my take out order was delicious! Very fresh vegetables and light sauce. Just perfect! Thank you for your attention to freshness in your food. I’ll be ordering again, soon.
