Silverlake Ramen in Porter Ranch

Cute little ramen spot in porter ranch inside the Vineyards. This is definitely a smaller location with only ten tables so there tends to be long wait times but I was able to get the last table when I arrived on a Saturday night so try and go early if you can.I got the Shoyu Ramen which comes with a chicken broth and a choice of pork or chicken. They have other ramens which come with a pork broth so there is definitely options.We got the California rolls ($7) as an appetizer for ourself.I knocked off one star because the service was kind of lacking. They did not check in on us as much as I’d normally like, but the food was very good so I’d come back or do a to go option.

Got my ramen order to-go and for a first time experience this place was pretty solid. I got their blaze ramen with pork, and I think my favorite part was the pork. It was tender and somehow managed to maintain a slight crispy edge. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Next time I for sure want to dine-in and try a new flavor.

I got the truffle oil ramen and it was great! I’m a huge truffle fan so having it in ramen is great! Lots of flavor. The place is kinda small and can get packed quickly. We came on a Sunday around 5PM. It is located at a Porter Ranch plaza which is really nice.

So pls carpool if possible 🤙🏼Great tasting food, but it depends on what you order. The ramen I ordered was 4/5 and my wifes was 5/5. See second picture. My wife and I drop off our dog Sadie at the Petco in Porter Ranch for her spa day. Then we crossed the street and went in for lunch. We both have never been to any of Silverlake location and we are so glad to that we decided to eat here. My wife got the Shoyu Ramen Bowl w/ Pork and I got the Chicken Karraage Rice Bowl and we also got the the Crispy Rice w/Spicy Tuna Appetizer. The Ramen Bowl was packed with plenty of noodles and and it came with a big piece of Pork. Everything blended together perfectly. My Rice Bowl was packed with Chicken that was crispy just like fried chicken and the sauce that you get with it blend perfectly with the chicken and the rice. Our Appetizer had get flavors. We both could finish our servings so we brought it home and had dinner and it tasted just as wonderful as of when we first served. The customer service was wonderful. Everyone was polite and always ask if we needed anything. We will be coming back for sure. Hi highly recommend you give them a try.

They were very, very busy when I was there. The food is ok. I had the Chicken Karrage it was average. Theres nothing to brag about. I did not like the seating arrangement. Way to close together and no elbow room. Will not be going back. Do not waste your time here.

This new location at a gentrified destination lacked a little character in comparison to its other locations, but the Ramen remained really good. Had the Blaze ramen with tofu and its porky richness is intact. No sushi offerings at this location as of yet but soon to come. Service is good.

Nice little ramen place with generous portions. The service was great, though it did take a fairly long time for the rice bowl someone had ordered to come out but the servers were attentive and the food was pretty good overall.

My GF loved it (5 ⭐ for dine in) the first time she went and wanted to have me join her but didnt have much time so we decided to get it TO GO (Take Out). Surprisingly to us the portions on the take out were very comparable. We were half expecting to get a smaller serving size as is the case from some other places which was a huge plus to not have that happen as the prices are never adjusted to reflect the downsizing. Actually Silver Lake Ramen 🍜 is well prepared to serve Take Out as their containers have very well written and clear explanations as to prepare the Ramen 🍜 as to get the best results and experience the same taste as if you were to Dine In. So for this Review I gave it 4 ⭐s for the (Take Out) where my GF would give it 5 🌟s for their Dine In Experience.

I had very low expectations and I thought this ramen place wouldn’t be good because of the name and it’s in Porter Ranch, hahah sorry. It was much better than I thought, AND they serve tsukemen, which is obviously what I got.The noodles could be better but the broth was flavorful enough that I have no complaints. The seasoned boiled egg is always good, too.I’m pretty happy to have a ramen place with tsukemen close enough to home, since I can’t drive to Sawtelle all the time. Looking forward to coming again, and hoping the tsukemen is just as good as before.The service we had was fine, so not sure what the other reviews are complaining about.
