2023-07-25 07:21:21The ramen’s broth is the best. They have a variety of ramen’s bowls to choose from. Customer service was great. It’s self seated and you can order to go. The parking is shared with other stores on that strip.

2023-05-21 23:23:17Mediocre Experience at Silverlake RamenI recently visited Silverlake Ramen and ordered the two classic ramen bowls, one with chicken and the other with pork, along with Chicken Karaage and California rolls. While the ramen noodles stood out, the overall experience left much to be desired.Starting with the California rolls, they lacked the freshness and flavor I expected. They felt like store-bought rolls, and to make matters worse, we weren’t provided soy sauce until after we received the check. This oversight was disappointing. The Chicken Karaage was a letdown as well. It mainly consisted of fat and had a chewy texture, which didn’t align with our expectations. It fell short of delivering the crispy, flavorful karaage we hoped for.On the brighter side, the ramen noodles themselves were great. They had a pleasing texture and were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. My partner even enjoyed her broth, although I found mine to be too milky. Nevertheless, I understand that this is a characteristic of the style of ramen they serve. The beer selection, specifically the Asahi, was a saving grace. It provided a refreshing accompaniment to the meal and added a positive note to the overall experience. One positive aspect worth mentioning is that Silverlake Ramen is pet-friendly. If you want to dine with your furry friend, this restaurant offers that convenience. When it comes to the service, it was instead cut and dry. While we didn’t encounter any significant issues, it lacked the personal touch that would have made our visit more memorable. Overall, the service was forgettable and didn’t leave a lasting impression. In summary, my experience at Silverlake Ramen was mediocre. While the ramen noodles and beer stood out, the California rolls fell short, the Chicken Karaage was disappointing, and the service was unremarkable. If you’re in the area and craving ramen, there may be better options to consider.

2023-12-07 19:43:06Been coming to this LBX location since it opened. But the last 6 months the quality of the Chicken Karaage has been up & down. Some days the karaage would be great!! Other days it would so-so the chicken batter would be lacking & doesn’t have the usual crunch & flavor. Another disappointing thing is, as soon as they open I’d go there to order karaage & it’s completely out. How can you be completely out when you just opened?? This has happened to me 3-4 times. Although the service is still good, not sure I’ll be returning unless they improve the quality & take care of their meal availability. Sad

2023-02-22 21:32:23This place used to be amazing. Ive been coming here for a couple of years now. However, their service and food quality is going downhill. Its impossible to get service. It seems theyve changed their noodles to what tastes like starchy spaghetti. The broth was so watered down, it didnt have much flavor. I dont recommend.

2020-01-21 15:46:18New location for S.L.R. They have a Tatsu Style ordering process now, I’m not a fan of it considering the lines get long standing there. Broth taste creamy & the noodles were good, can’t recall the chashu tasteThe karaage chicken was delicious. I would come back.

2022-02-09 03:30:38A welcomed bowl of hearty and flavorful ramen hot the spot at a time when we were feeling a little worn out from a long day at the office. Attentive servers provided us with everything we needed in a timely manner whenever we were running low, be it water, sake, napkins, or energy!

2022-05-30 20:53:00My wife and I were in Japan in 2019 and the ramen there is simply indescribable. We have since tried numerous ramen places and all have disappointed severely except for this. This is the best ramen we’ve tried in the States to this point (and we’re still on the prowl for even better if one exists). We both ordered The Blaze Ramen w/ pork and it was delicious. Much better than we were anticipating. On top of that, we shared the Crispy Chicken Karaage which was fantastic and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, which while not the best we’ve had (hey, it’s not strictly a sushi restaurant) was still VERY good. We’re happy to have tried it and if we are in the area again, we’ll be sure to stop by a second time.

2023-10-11 03:06:45All the food was delicious! Welcomed with a smile, quick service, one of the kids said they are fast like fast food but doesn’t taste like fast food. Will definitely be back.

2023-07-23 23:57:44Start with positive, the appetizers were good and the spicy mayo just added on. Other than that it was bad, the broth was super greasy and the consistency was off as well. I could see beads of oil all over my ramen, my brothers ramen, and my nephews. On top of that the color seemed off, the broth look unappetizing and it seemed too thick.
