The food was very good. I like spice and my server was astonished that I asked for very spicy. When I got my soup, it was spicy but not overly so and not as much as the server had me believe. It was good though. Harty and delicious.Service was little spotty but they did the job.The restaurant is small and cozy, very authentically homey and comfortable.

Im sitting here eating my chicken Pad Thai and feeling so content that I had to hop on and 5 star this place immediately. The medium spice is a great starting point if you like spicy food, you get chili crisp and Sriracha at the table too. Lovely staff, good boba, delicious food. My husband also really loved his beef pho. Great stop on our way up to San Francisco!

Food is good but not the best as we are so close to the Vietnamese town in San Jose with lots of authentic and delicious Vietnamese offerings. Having said that, this maybe one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town now in term of taste. I am glad we have a decent choice.

This five star review is long over due. One of the best if not THE best Pho place hidden in plain sight in Morgan Hill! Tops all other Pho places across the whole Silicon Valley; other places are good, but this place is Great! Fresh, high quality ingredients and NO MSG! A pho restaurant have to level up on their ingredients and recipe to make such good soup without MSG!! My toddler daughter can drink up the soup and eat the pho and vermicelli noodles since she was one and half years old; we’ve tried a few other places (when Simmering is not open) and our baby wouldn’t eat/drink as much. Pad Thai is another wonderful dish that is SO much better than other Thai restaurants in the bay! It’s unbelievable. We will only go to Simmering Pho unless it is not open on certain days! The staff are friendly; especially the hostess treat you like family. Thank you!

Loved every single thing about this restaurant. Sweet owners who were super inviting and kind. Everything we ordered was delicious and their pho bowls are huge! 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back next time we pass through town

There are tons of Pho options, but its the dedication to fresh high quality ingredients and the pride and time of the broth. I love when you truly find the family full of old recipes and pride, and this is one of those places! The owner makes her own Boba and its unlike any Ive tried..I actually like it and look forward to having it! Ive never liked it before because of the chewy chemical taste and feel, but hers...you must try for yourself! The Mango Boba drink is the best anywhere!! They are nice, clean, quick, efficient and consistent. My favorite Pho place in the area!!

This is my place goto for Vietnamese food outside of SJ. The food tasty, flavorful and fresh. Ive noticed this restaurant puts great care into the smaller details with their ingredients, which is great because others do not. The lady that takes orders is very kind, attentive, and very polite. I was eating solo after work and after my food was brought out she said, please enjoy your meal in Vietnamese, you dont get that kind of etiquette while eating at the more known restaurants in San Jose! Give this place a try the quality of food speaks for itself!

One of the best Pho place Ive been to. I had the #8 Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special). Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice. I was served pretty quickly.Overall I great experience.

This restaurant is the best Pho in Morgan Hill. I rate it a 4.5! The owners of the restaurant are very welcoming! We had 2 appetizers and Pho. We also had a side of fried shrimp. They were golden brown, crispy and tender. The sauce served with it was sweet and tangy. We also enjoyed Spring rolls with peanut sauce. The Spring rolls with shrimp were fresh and the vegetables were crisp. I loved the peanut sauce with little pieces of peanut in the smooth sauce topped with few drops of chili sauce. The rolls were tightly wrapped with a good balance of ingredients. For our main course, we had the Chicken Pho with extra vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cabbage). I would suggest the extra veg for about $1.00 more. It is worth the extra money. The broth is full of flavor and delicious. The soup came with the traditional herbs and hot sauce on the side. The dish was so filling that I have left overs for lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend this quaint little home-style cafe. They had indoor and out door dining options.

This little place is fantastic! We happened upon it as a recommendation from a local who said it was the best in the area, and gosh, were they right. Food is fresh, carefully prepared, beautifully spiced, high-quality, and reasonably priced. Its locally owned and operated. You cant go wrong here!

The food is delicious and the staff are great! There is so much detail in the decor so theres so much to look at but its not to a level where its distracting. The bathrooms are very clean and well stocked, and the price for the food is reasonable. Theres nothing to complain about in this place, its very enjoyable in terms of both food and restaurant experience every time we go.

A smile of happiness your stomach enjoys. A lovely smile to greet you and quickly see you. Atmosphere of Vietnam, bright, colorful and cheerful. The spring rolls with shrimp and delicious barbecue pork awakened the appetite. Peanut soy sauce dip. Number 14 is a delicious beefy broth with rice noodles and thin slices of brisket and beef. A squeeze of juicy lime. The basil added fresh to enhance the taste and perfume. Mung bean sprouts sprinkled into the broth for crunchy texture. Delicious. Generous portions. Gracious hospitality. Sometimes Ebola soup really is good for the soul. And this place has never disappointed.

John and his wife run a great little cafe. I find it clean and comfortable with great service. Of course the best thing about Simmering is their soup being the best I have ever tasted. Finding this place so close to home makes it very convenient to just stop in for a quick bite on those evenings Im running late. So if you like soup, especially Pho, I highly recommend it!

Simmering Pho Cafe is the best in town. I really enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and lovely Tiffany, who is so amazing and gracious. She truly cares about giving you the best service, experience and care, while you enjoy an awesome meal. Just love finishing off our evening with a yummy warm Vietnamese coffee. I came in after lunch time, and it was just me, took them a few minute to bring out the menu. Noone offered or asked if Id like anything to drink. I got the standard rare steak noodle, to be safe :) The food looked so sad. There were about 4 pcs of meat, well done, not rare, lots of noodle and soup, and a tiny plate of veggies that look like they just scooped up whatever left in the kitchen, and it tasted like the noodle bowl you got from Costco, look the same too. I got this and an order of spring rolls to go. Cost bout $20 bucks, which is pretty expensive compared to other places I usually go to where the portion is bigger and the food tastes better. Wont be back.

I truly love restaurants like Simmering Pho. Mom & Pop type where a family runs and operates it. The food is delicious and keeps me and the family coming back regularly. But they sincerely take pride in their food AND service, which is naturally personable because its owner operated. I go out of my way to patronize businesses like these.

We like to go to Creasian which is located just off W. Main and while finding parking, we saw Simmering. Not too many Pho places in Morgan Hill and from the outside looks not so promising. And since there are not many places to have Pho, we said wed give it a try. Sooooo... a year later, the outside hadnt changed and we were weary about going in. BUT upon entering the cafe, we were pleasantly surprised. Very nice people own/work there. Service is A+ and the atmosphere is calm with soft music playing overhead. And the food is great! Moral of the story - never judge a Pho cafe by its façade. Recommended!

I have been coming here a while now. It is my favorite among Vietnamese resturants and one of my favorite overall. Everything Ive had is really great. My fav is Bo luc Lac...sizzling plate with bites of steak and veggies such as green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Ive had other dishes and they are excellent as well. See ice and people are top notch and the look and feel is very comfortable.

Horrible ! All soups taste as if you were chewing a ginger stick, seafood soup has 1 shrimp and we came in before two parties and they were served before us . We did not eat the soup, we had bland egg rolls and one small water . Worst service and food !
