The staff is super friendly and the pho is great. We always order item 7a which is the vegetarian Pho and we pay the extra $1 to get it extra large. We have a family of four and 2 extra large feeds the whole family, and each meal comes with a small warm tapioca pudding.The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating with an outdoor patio.

Just chanced upon this place when I was hungry for fried rice. It was fast and really good. I ordered the seafood combo fried rice. Never thought I would finish the whole plate. But I did. It was good. Not too salty. And Thai tea with no boba. A good simple quick lunch.I would recommend you all try the place when you are craving for Vietnamese fried rice.

Great pho in a super convenient location off El Toro. The pho broth was clean and flavorful. I always appreciate Simply Pho quick service. The Pho Dac Biet hit the spot and the Bo Lu Lac (Shaken Beef) was quite tasty. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating.

I really like the inside of this place. They have cute mural and paintings. The service is a bit poor😔. I’m sure that’s because they’re kind of new and understaffed👩‍🍳👨‍🍳. But the appetizer came out after all the main meals. And the meals don’t all come out at the same time - well not my table but the table next to me. The lady had her meal way before the man she was with. But none the less, still tasted really good and the portions were finishable! And they have complementary dessert soup!! 🍲😁

This is my favorite pho store!! The prices are so reasonable and they serve original dessert for free. They only use fresh vegetables. You might have to wait a little on the weekend, but it’s worth it! They offer extra noodle for $2.00, so you may share 1 Pho with extra noodle and enjoy other meal instead! I highly recommend their fried rice!!! If you are garlic lover, definitely try the garlic shrimp noodle!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Simply Pho restaurant, where we received excellent food and service from Vien, Hai and Tim. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.As we perused the menu, we couldnt help but notice the variety of dishes offered, from traditional pho to specialties like spring rolls and banh mi. We eventually decided on the beef pho and bún thịt nướng chả giò, and we were blown away by the rich, savory broth and perfectly cooked slices of beef. The spring rolls were particularly enjoyable and became my husbands favourite. The generous portion size left us feeling full and satisfied.Viên and Hais attentive and friendly service was consistent throughout our meal, they checked on us regularly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome.We highly recommend this Vietnamese pho restaurant to anyone looking for delectable food and outstanding service. Been looking for a regular pho and bahn mi spot since I moved to OC. So far, Simply Pho is favorite. Vien was my server both times last week very quick and courteous. The pho is amazing and the best fried eggrolls ive had in awhile. Great spot to hit up after work for thai tea after being out in the heat all day.

This is our family’s favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The crispy noodles are SO good, and the vermicelli is great too. So are the spring rolls and egg rolls! There is outdoor seating, and always plenty of parking. Also, there are 2 handicapped spaces right in front of the door.

I liked the restaurant. Good location on El Toro a couple blocks from I5. Pho was delicious and the service was better that most Pho joints(the refilled my water). Nice contemporary decor. Could have been a little cleaner. I guess that is all perspective not as clean as a fine dining restaurant but cleaner than Viet Nam...overall 4 stars.

Great place for good pho in the area. The price is very reasonable, and the taste is much better than most other pho restaurants around the area. The portions are pretty filling. I usually get large at other pho restaurants but at this restaurant, I am good with regular size. Their deep fried tofu is not bad either. The batter is lightly friend and comes with a sweet tangy sauce for dipping.

Sooooo delicious. I got pho soup with brisket and eye round steak and it was phenomenal. The steak was also more cooked than it looked on the menu. On the menu it looks raw. The shrimp fried rice was also great but I wish they took the tails off the shrimp. Lastly, they put cilantro on the rice but not the pho. So you can get cilantro if you prefer it to mint (I do), you just have to ask.

In terms of pho, nothing outstanding. broth is more acidic than what I like, but not so much that its bad. I ordered #1 but got #2 instead which just comes without the beef balls. beef however felt overcooked? it was a bit tough and hard to chew. the wait staff are nice and I like that they provide a small dessert of tapioca at the end of your meal.

There is a waiter here named HAI who is extremely rude to my husband and I when we come. Tonight he sat other people before us after we waited 10 minutes. He then took their order and Left without coming back to us. Waited another few minutes then we were able to order. He NEVER comes back to our table to check in and we tip every time. We love their food but at this point we will not be back.

I can’t even list all the problems with our meal.They brought us someone else’s order, then they literally took the wrong order away after we ate off the plate out of confusion on our part. Then they made us wait for our correct order that they forgot to bring us! Not to mention the staff’s terrible attitude and service. The price for the small portion what we got was ridiculous too. The shaking beef dish I had was very good and I really enjoyed the tomato rice. The service was very good and I really enjoyed the dessert. Im sorry I cant remember the name of it but it was like a thin sweet tapioca. We also got egg rolls for appetizers, it comes with lettuce leaves and slices of cucumber that you roll up on the egg roll and dunk into a sauce that comes with it. My dates soup was really good too with a ginger like taste. I sorry I cant tell you more about the food but I had never been to a pho place before but I will come back here again. We had two meals and an appetizer and dessert for under 40 dollars.

I stopped here since it was on my way home, and because I love this place but I always only been to the one in Orange where the ladies are very nice and sweet, the guy that hand me my order was very rude, I got two chicken fried rice and I asked to get 10 little packets of siracha, he put 5 packets of siracha so I asked him for more and he blatantly said you can buy a bottle of siracha we sell them! That’s so rude and disrespectful I left so upset! I will not be coming back here and I recommend you support businesses that treat you with respect and this isn’t one of them.

Stopped by here on the way from LA to San Diego. It was 5 mins off the freeway and definitely worth the detour! We got the seafood pho, super bowl pho, grilled pork and shrimp platter with rice and the fried tofu appetizer. All came out very quickly. The food was hot and fresh and everything was delicious. The pho had good flavor and was comforting and the grilled pork was seasoned perfectly! To top it all off, they brought out a complimentary dessert at the end!The restaurant was clean and had a nice modern atmosphere. They had a nice patio where they had cafe lights strung which was perfect for outdoor seating for COVID. The seats in the outdoor area were not overly packed so there was sufficient distance between parties.

I witnessed an interaction with someone who was trying to bring her dog into the restaurant and was quite belilgerent. I wanted to find a resolution with this place so that I didnt have to leave a 1 star review but I was forced to do so to warn the public.Most importantly, our meal had smelly fish and onion that was not fresh leaving a stench even after placing in the broth and boiling.The restaurant gave us our food, we went home, which was 20 min away and noticed they forgot all the veggies, bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc. I know these things happen so we called and asked for half our money back or for someone to deliver. They refused either option and the only recommendation they had was if we would drive back to drop off the food they would refund us.Save yourself the time and money- this pho didnt even seem edible and customer service was only focused on the bottom dollar

Food flavor and quality is just ok, but the more disappointing issue was they messed up my to go food order twice. The first time I checked and saw it was completely wrong, but the second time the guy came out to reassure me it was all there. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized the Pho wasnt included - unless they call Pho a small portion of meat and vegetables in a small container. Been here twice now. This place is clean and modern. Their Dac Biet includes beef balls which I love! My friends had the pho ga and it has hand shred their chicken instead of sliced chicken breast. Both are great but I think the best way to enjoy pho ga is with shredded chicken. 😄

One of many Pho places in Lake Forest. This place is the best of the bunch. This one seems to be slightly cleaner and more professionally run that the others. The Pho broth is clean and I did not feel any MSG. It is in the busy 99 cent store Plaza so you can mult-task while waiting. The com thit nuong and rice plates are good. Very large menu, not just pho here.

A new Vietnamese restaurant recently opened near our house.We decided to give it a try, and was very happy with the visit.The restaurant is very clean and spacious, with beautiful modern decor.For appetizer, we ordered “Simply” Buttered Chicken.The wings didn’t have any taste when we first tried it.It was like they forgot to season with salt and pepper.We had to sent it back to get more seasoning.The second time was slightly better, but still wasn’t as flavorful as we expected.I didn’t really taste any butter, but the garlic was there.We probably won’t order this appetizer again.I love love love the “Tenderized” Shaking Beef with tomato rice.The filet mignon was super tender with a delicious black pepper sauce.I can eat this dish everyday!Dr. P really likes the pho here.The broth has a herb aroma to it. Very flavorful and tasty.I like the beef meatball a lot.After the meal, our waiter brought us some free dessert.What a pleasant surprise!It was warm mung bean tapioca. Very yummy.There are quite a few items on their menu we want to come back to try.We will definitely visit again very soon.

Awful service for takeout, dishonest and rule less casher/server at “Simply Pho”. I ordered some pho to go yesterday (3/5/2017) and today (3/6/2017). I especially asked for a side of hot sauce (not sriracha), it’s the other type of hot sauce they had displaced on all their dinner tables.Yesterday (3/5) – When I asked for some hot sauce (I even point it at the hot sauce), the cashier/server told me it’s already in my bag, so I left. When I got home, it was not there, I was disappointed, but didn’t think much.Today (3/6) – When I asked for the same hot sauce, I was told all they had was sriracha. I asked for a small empty container Togo so I can pour some hot sauce. The server (same server from yesterday) was not happy with my request, he reluctantly picked a small contain and placed it in my face and rudely said: “Next time, it’s a dollar”. I politely rejected his offered and I even returned the sauces that was placed in my bag (I don’t use them and I don’t want to waste them) and I left feeling displeasure and insulted.I am not looking for freebie, I paid my fair share like every customers. Why is okay for “Simply Pho” to treat your customers this way? Where is the price for your hot sauce on the menu? Do you really charge a dollar for a side of hot sauce, or is it the request too inconvenience?I enjoy supporting local business, and respect their role and polices, but I don’t believe in making up rule as you go. It is not fair to any customers, if you like to start charging a dollar for your hot sauce, then put it on your menu, that way no one had to lie about the sauce already in the bag (not true) or changing prices as you assess your customer’s wallet.These two experiences are uncalled for, no one should be treated this way, even if just a take out.

This the 2nd time we came here and both times we ordered LARGE PHO and both times they charge us with EXTRA LARGE which is $1 more. And when I asked why, they gave me the same reason. Its like its scripted. The 1st time though they remove the the extra charge. Be careful if youre going to eat here Simply Pho, check the charges because there might be that EXTRA CHARGE.

Saw Simply Pho from a distance, I like good Vietnamese food, and I wanted to eat healthy. Was not disappointed. I had chicken pho. They were typical in how pho comes when it is to go. You get a large stirofoam container of broth, and you get what goes in the broth: a container of noodles, a container of meat, and some veggies and herbs, like bean sprouts, mint, & a slice of lemon or lime. The bean sprouts and mint were like they were just picked. The broth was too hot at first to eat, but savory and not salty. The serving of chicken was plentiful.I eat pho about 1 once a month. I think this pho place is better than average, because of the portions, the good broth, and clean food. They have a large menu. The parking is a little crowded. I used the 15 minute parking spot. Inside it was full, but it was the start lunch time, they were busy with a lot of take out orders or phone orders.
