This gem bakery in neighborhood has poured their hearts in all creations, so good that it’s reassuring and comforting to stop by for a treat - rice pudding is our fav!Honey cakes are special too, not the cake you can find anywhere else, authentic and freshly made.Iced Hibiscus 🌺 tea is perfect for a hot sunny day.Ample parking at the back. Outdoor seating in the back is nice too, quieter.

Great Turkish cafe and bakery. Their simit (Turkish bagels) are the best and baked fresh in front of you. The honey fruit cake is a must to try with their Turkish coffee. The appetizer platter is wonderful for sharing and trying different varieties.

The food here is just so good. It’s flavorful, interesting and made with great ingredients. The staff and owner are so sweet which makes the atmosphere amazing. I got the lahmacun (Turkish pizza) and the Balkan kebab sandwich and both were so flavorful. I’ve also been several times for the Turkish breakfast platter which never misses. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great Turkish food that was surprisingly delicious! We went for lunch on a Friday and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The owner took our order and was extremely friendly and sweet! Her recommendations were spot on.

I am so glad my friend suggested Simurgh Bakery for lunch! They bake everything from scratch, including the phyllo dough for the baklava. My friend went traditional, but you know I could not resist those vibrant colors for the chocolate-pistachio...so good!I also absolutely loved the cloudlike lightness of the pide bread on the Balkan kabob sandwich, and that honey cake? Woo! Its a brick! A sweet, delicious brick that took three servings to finish off with all those honey cake and cream cheese layers. Will definitely be back.

This place is an amazing gem. I ordered the kebab sandwich and was blown away by every aspect. The bread tasted freshly baked and I was in well after 1pm, side of fresh salad. Let the photos speak for themselves.

The baklava in this place were my kind of pastry; perfectly sweetened, not overly soaked in syrup and the phyllo layers on the top half provided a good contrast of texture. If you prefer something savory, order the spinach feta bourek. For non caffeinated beverage, try the orange soda which is similar to Fanta.

The menu was a splendid showcase of Turkish gastronomy, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to all tastes. The standout dish for me was their istanbul plate, a tantalizing combination of thinly sliced grilled lamb, warm pita, and a rich tomato sauce, all topped with a dollop of creamy yogurt. Each bite was a delightful exploration of flavors and textures, a true testament to the authenticity and skill of the kitchen.

We were in the Bay Area / SF and we were looking for a cafe. There’s many in SF but the parking there is awful. So we searched for one nearby and came across this Turkish Cafe.We got egg Shakshouka, simit with cheese and hard boiled eggs. We also get tea. Food was good, but it would be better if the serve it with side salad like ( tomatoes and cucumbers).

Gorgeous food. We ate breakfast there and took other things home to eat later. I’ve been a customer at her farmer’s market stands and can’t recommend this cafe highly enough! The bourek, simit, rose pistachio turkish delight, baklava, pide bread— everything (even the phyllo dough) is made fresh. Can’t wait to return!
