The Sinbala sausage rice had a bunch of good stuff: rice, minced pork, Taiwanese sausage, cabbage, corn, and eggs. But it arrived a bit cold, and it’s probably because of the AC here.The spicy beef noodle soup was just okay. The broths spices were a bit too much for me, and the beef was tough.I might swing by again for the Taiwanese sausage, but Ill probably skip the beef noodle soup. Theres plenty of seating and parking available.

I love Taiwanese sausage here! There is no good enough Taiwanese sausage in Atlanta, so every time I come to LA, I always try to bring some SinBala sausage back to Atlanta. This time, I also tried the shaved ice here as well, taste great! The place is small, but if you just want to taste some Taiwanese flavors, here definitely is a good place you should come.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - came for an early lunch so there were plenty of tables available. It was a delicious Taiwanese meal 23) Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was delicious with a very salty broth. It was great while eating the noodles but could not finish the soup afterwards.30) Popcorn Chicken was juicy and well fried. Nicely seasoned with flavors all the way to the center of the chicken.37) Sticky Rice was as expected. Well seasoned and flavored but a bit oily.Ambience: 5/5 - clean and more spacious than expected.Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick. My comfort food! We went around the time it opened so it wasnt too busy yet but this place can have a long wait! Food always comes out super quick and I love their shaved ice too! The photo is the sausage rice and chicken leg rice.

Authentic Taiwanese restaurant! Been coming here for years! The price has definitely increased. Their food is still delicious though! The staffs are all so nice and helpful. I always get the sausage rice plate. Their portions are pretty generous. Their beef noodle soup is a bit spicy but flavor is great. Highly recommend this spot! Parking may be a bit difficult during lunch and dinner hours. They fill up quick so I’d recommend coming a bit earlier than the lunch/dinner hours.

Busy Taiwanese restaurant. We waited around 10 minutes for the table. Ordered the spicy beef noodle, sausage rice and the popcorn chicken. The beef was tender, I wish the broth was spicy but it was flavorful. Great restaurant!

I have been to Sinbala about three times now and it has yet to disappoint me. They are known for their homemade sausages and they are delicious. I always get the plate of Sinbala sausages and popcorn chicken. This little Taiwanese store is quite popular and it is not surprising due to the quality and price of the food. The beef noodle soup is also recommended and their beverages are also great as well. Their tea tastes have a strong tea flavor and I recommend getting either their black milk tea or green milk tea.

Gotta be one of my favorites. They now take card too! Family loves the chicken leg rice and soup noodles. We end it with a shaved ice which is a great deal here compared to other places like MeetFresh.Not much else to say. I’m honestly biased because I grew up eating here. It’s my comfort food basically. Is it amazingly distinct or special? Probably not. But this place always makes me happy 😄

I have tried Taiwanese beef noodle many times, but by far this was the best !!! The broth was so rich and flavorful and the beef was high quality and perfectly tender ... great noodles too... The sweet sausage was good and the spicy garlic wantons blew me away !!.. so garlicky just the way I like it

They judged me and asked me if I was sure I could spend money there. They have a five dollar fee if you use any kind of card. There is no ac. The food was okay. The bathroom was horrendous. Horrible bathroom conditions. They tried to rush me eating. Just uncomfortable in general. I wont disrespect the food but I was disrespected by the staff.

Great food and service. I was with my family from east coast. We ordered beef noodle, taiwanese sausage, dumplings, popcorn chicken, etc. The quality and taste of food wins any restaurants we have been in east coast. We ordered extra take-out frozen meatballs to bring back home on the overnight flight. They wrapped the food securely in a box, and made sure it wont be damaged during the flight.I would highly recommend SinBala to anyone local or from out of town, if you are looking for a great Taiwanese food. We will definitely go back there if we ever been to L.A. again.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. They do a phenomenal job making authentic taiwanese food. Our favorites include the taiwanese beef noodle and sausage plate. Dont forget to order a few appetizers to go with your meal - those are delicious!

Oyster egg was good, just like how I remembered in Taiwan. Plus it had lots of veggies with plenty of sauce that was light and not was not overpowering, so good for anyone trying to cut down on carbs to finally take big bites of something that doesnt easily come to an end. Beef noodles could be a bit more al dente but thats just a personal preference. Sausage rice was good, but perhaps was overhyped by the other reviews I read beforehand so was slightly let down. Maybe a bit more rice for such a hungry person like me? Lol Would come here again when Im craving taiwanese home style cooking again

I go here frequently because the food is that good! Lines are quite long around lunch and dinner time so I suggest to get there a little early for lunch (11:30 or so) when the restaurant just opens.Everything is tasty here, but the ones I highly suggest are the sausage rice, beef noodle, and pop corn chicken. Their shaved ice is also really good for the price but I feel like they reduced the size recently.Overall prices are reasonable and almost everything is good there, although not everything is worth the price.

This is an another place I usually come for Taiwanese food. Even though the parking sometimes is hard to find especially weekend lunch time or dinner time because the plaza doesnt have enough parking spaces for 15 stores and a supermarket. Also, it sometimes has to wait for lunch or dinner especially in weekend but it is worth to wait for their good quality of food. Therefore, I try a couple time for lunch and dinner, and their sausage rice, squid stew vermicelli, and chicken roll are great.Overall, it is the place that people should try it for the first time, and I am recommend their sausage rice, cold chicken noodles, and oyster pancake for this place.

We came in to order to-go. The ladies at the counter was very nice and friendly.The pork belly bamboo shoot rice was absolutely delicious. The pork belly was very tender and flavorful. Delicious bamboo shoot as well. Very Taiwanese flavor and we love it.The fried pork chop rice was bad on the other hand. The pork chop was so thin. It seriously was like paper thin and you can barely see it. The outside breading was much thicker than the meat itself. So it tastes very powdery and dry. It was the worst pork chop Ive ever had from Sinbala. The side vegetables were all very good though.I think next time well stick with the pork belly rice and their famous Taiwanese sausage rice. No more pork chop from Sinbala for us.

Rating only based on the shaved ice dessert and plain vegetable dish. The shaved ice is a generous portion, but is more like a slush (with large ice granules) and didnt have much flavor to it. The vegetable was not very flavorful and was uncharacteristically bitter. The interior decorations overall is as expected for a casual cafe. The service was pretty good, would have given a higher rating if the food was better.

Had the oyster pancake and #10 on the menu (which was noodles, ground meat, soy sauce egg, chunk of pork, some shrimp and some veg). Both items were good! Im glad they have oyster pancake, although the oysters were a little too strong tasting, but still it satisfied that craving Ive had for the dish.I wish that they would provide re-usable cups for water, right now they only have polystyrene cups. But oh well.Service was fine, pretty typical for most Chinese places, not overly attentive, but the waiters were responsive and the food came out really quickly. It was pretty clean, no left over food or incompletely clean flatware.We were seated immediately at 7 PM on a Saturday, but some folks after us had to wait.

One of the best places for cheap Taiwanese eats.All the recommended items we ordered were wonderful, except their beef noodle soup which was OK.This is a simple place where you go, possibly wait a while outside, and sit with your friends and share some dishes together while catching up.My most favorite dishes was the sausage rice and popcorn chicken.If youll save room for dessert, definitely get a shave ice which you can choose from array of topping which they bury underneath the ice. Excellent Taiwanese restaurant that is consistently good. My go-to items are the Sausage Rice (ask for a side of garlic slices to go with it), the Pork Bamboo Shoot Rice, the Popcorn Chicken, the Scallion Pancake, and the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are pretty decent as well, although I would go somewhere else if that is the main thing you want to eat. Similarly, they conveniently have a full menu of bubble tea choices, although not as good as other standalone bubble tea cafes in the area (which lack a full food menu). Altogether highly recommended!

Going to get a lot of hate here...But man the taste and quality of the food has gone down. This was my goto place for a quick and delicious Taiwanese bento. Not so much now. The boba has no flavor, the minced pork on top of the rice is not as fat and juicy, the egg has a floury texture to them which I assume means they added some flour to fluff it up. Even the scallion pancake has gone bland! Dont be fooled by the rating thats based on historical reviews, I came here around 5/530 and it was pretty much dead. Probably sold off and changed owners. Much sadness 😫

This original Sinbala has consistently served the most authentic Taiwanese food in the US (in my opinion). Like many others, I have been a big fan (for many years) of their many delicious taiwanese street food including sausage, zhongzhi, beef noodle soup, 肉羹，雞捲， etc. I also recommend their drinks and shaved ice. Price is very reasonable. The rice or noodle dishes are generally $5-7. Drinks are around $2. So you can get a very satisfying meal for $10! Service is like your typical Chinese restaurants . Sinbala is highly recommended if you are searching for good Taiwanese food.

Nothing beats Taiwanese food in SoCal (besides legit Taiwanese food in Taiwan). And this is one of my favorite, most authentic tasting places to go when I make a trip down to visit good friends. I always feel right at home when Im here - I especially like how they offer Taiwanese Sausage fried rice. Ughhhh, sooo good! We also got pigs blood cake, veggies, drinks, noodles.. all the Taiwanese goodies. I dont recall if they have stinky tofu here but I wouldnt be surprised if they did have it! Wanted to order take out so I called before driving there so I wont have to wait I was then put on hold for about 15 mins (which was the drive there) and the lady that put me on hold realized that I was still on the phone this whole time I ended up ordering my food which luckily only took 5 minutes to get to me.
