Theres a wide array of tempting options on the menu here. We had the Spam Musubi, Lemongrass Chicken Salad, and Japanese Curry. Everything was good. Curry definitely needed more kick and the ambiance of dining in a parking lot made me miss the coziness of the old Hideaway Cafe which wasnt maintained with the new space.

Ordered stir fry lemongrass chicken and bbq pork, ended up taking about twice as long to make as the estimated time (40 minutes). To top it off, I ended up getting two orders of the chicken which I didn’t notice until after I left. If you’re in a time crunch, I would not recommend this place.

Sindi’s is my go to for a quick and delicious Asian food meal. My kids love it too. I’m keen on their crispy rice w tuna. I can’t get enough. Everything there is good though. Boboa teas, salads, Spring Rolls, Japanese curry (my son’s favorite) spam musubi. Not a bad item in the menu.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was really good. Though our sandwiches were ready within a few minutes, it took 35 minutes to get a quesadilla for one of our kids. That was pretty odd. Great location. The Banh Mi sandwich is the greatest ever! We will be back.

This is a great spot. First off, I love Station Sushi. It is one of my favorite sushi places in all of SoCal. As I can piece it all together, Sindi was a prime influencer in the growth of Station on the Beach. Sindi’s Snack Shack is a twist on Station’s menu, and it offers something that nothing else in the area does, deliciously.I had the kimchi fried rice with pork. It was phenomenal. The only drawback I felt from this dish, was that I would love to be offered some sweet oyster/eel sauce drizzled over the top. Fried rice with duck sauce is one of my go-to’s the morning after a “hard-night”, and since I was there on a Saturday morning, well then you can guess the rest… the kimchi fried rice was so good, & that was all I could smell when I walked into the shack, so I really didn’t take the time to study the menu before ordering. I said to the young girl behind the counter, “What is that smell?” And, when she told me the dish, I forgot I wasn’t even that crazy about Kimchi. This is coming from a guy who lived in Korea for almost 4-months. I got to know the difference between the good stuff and the bad. This was just phenomenal. It had just enough kimchi to give it a little kick and crunch, and that authentic far eastern taste. They dropped a fried egg on top, and it was money! It might be the Boston in me that wants the sweetness, but I would take this dish every day even without the gravy. As I was waiting for my fried rice I checked out the rest of the menu, and it will definitely bring me back again. I especially want to try the Spam Masubi (Think Nagiri, but with Spam). Now, before you go writing off my reviews, because I like Spam, think about how Sindi pulled off the great “kimchi miracle of 2021” with me 😉 Like most people, I don’t go out looking for Spam either. But, after I left Korea, I lived in Japan for another four months. This dish was a common treat there. This is not your mother’s canned Spam on Wonder bread with mayonnaise. This is thinking a bit outside the culinary box, with a gentle, sushi touch. Delicious 🤤The shack was very intimate yet easy-going. There is a nice view down to Fletcher Cove, and there are stools and counter like seating out on the front porch to eat right there. To me this screams casual Southern California-just off the beach dining. There is plenty of parking considering the location. Once you find the first time, it will stand out to you every time you go into the area. Boston Irish gives this 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 Go see Sindi, she knocked it out of the ballpark again!!

I eat here 3-4x a week. Crispy rice is 11/10, sometimes I add in a chicken katsu musubi, some hi chew and a milk tea. Never thought I would become such a regular! Grateful for Sindis existence.

Small family-owned Asian fusion restaurant by the beach, perfect for grabbing a shared meal during a sunset watch :)I appreciate the authenticity of an Asian wife and husband cooking warm meals in a remodeled hangar-style shack. Theres so much to choose from.. if youre craving something Vietnamese or Korean, they got it: banh mis, kimchi grilled cheese, Korean ramyun, and rice bowls. They also serve shaved ice and boba milk teas! We got the kimchi quesadilla $11, pretty solid and yummy choice. Spicy, cheesy, toasty, and not too messy. There are a few tables outside, but we just took the food to go. Would come back again to try a drink!

!!CRISPY RICE!! Delicious! The menu is packed with absolutely delicious choices (even musubis for all you spam lovers). The people are friendly and helpful. It is only a few feet from the beach in a nice quiet cul-de-sac end in a historical garage. A really charming place that beat the pants off sandwiches at the beach. And did I mention the CRISPY RICE? So good!

Youre not expecting delicious food from a “shack” but thats what youre getting. The menu is very diverse with great prices. we are disappointing. We were disappointed we didn’t find it earlier in our trip. It is a shack, so don’t plan on eating there unless you are one or two people. We got takeout which was perfect.

I wish I didn’t but breakfast here, but the $6 Thai tea and “flavorless” milk boba teas were good. The spam musubi were such a comfort. The bahn mi is good, but too heavy with pickled vegetables. I like spam and my grilled cheese spam breakfast sandwich was not worth $7, maybe $4. The “loco moco” was hyped up by the employee and it was so underwhelming.
