It’s a shame the establishment is poorly run, really wanted to try it. I went in to order a sandwich just now and me and at least 3 other groups unceremoniously turned away because they were “short staffed”. I let the employee know we could wait and she said that’s just not going to happen, I’m closing right now and no more sandwiches, no more orders. Terrible customer service, not to mention a huge loss of business turning away paying customers by the dozens.

Great service. Placed order over the phone, then called back 5 minutes later to add another sandwich. It was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. Very friendly staff. Very tight parking lot, though.

My last sandwich was very greasy. I was surprised, as ally other visits there, the food was excellent. My problem is, I dont live close enough! Cant wait to try the Calzone after excellent pizza

This place is a hidden gem! I asked for a meatless sandwich and he recommended that I take the meat off the ‘inspector’...this was genius and tasted amazing. I asked for it hot and Hands down one of the best hot sandwiches I ever had! I am not local to pleasant hill but will be getting this sandwich every time I am in town. My girlfriend tasted it and decided to get one herself 😂 I also got two of their juices the ( my gf got the Jedi juice and I got the tigers blood) and they are also amazing! How have I not heard about this place sooner haha. Try the inspector hot with no meat!

We have been here before. Nice staff, good food. I was really disappointed by service this Friday. My husband ordered me a Rueban sandwich to go. It was just bread meat and cheese. No dressing no sauerkraut. I will be checking all of our orders at pick up. We have referred new customers to them. We support local business. I hope service is better next time.

Sort of new to the neighborhood. Called our order in. Only took 20 minutes. Soooo Good. We ordered two sandwiches. The First Responder and the Recruit.The avocado and Turkey was perfect. Tasted like it was sliced right off the turkey. Defeathered in house. (kidding.) But it was extremely fresh. We also ordered Mac and cheese. And also a juice. Farmers favorite. It was delicious. The carrot in it was so refreshing. We had a tiny hiccup but they definitely made it right. They were very friendly about it. Also received a cheese pizza that was 🔥🔥🔥. Definitely going back.

First and last time here. The guy in A/X shirt behind the register seemed far more interested in talking with the brunette behind the counter instead of doing his job. Customers are lining up while he makes small talk with her. Unbelievable. The Ruben I ordered was ice cold - yet somehow they managed to melt the cheese. A horrible sandwich I chose not to eat.

I got the J-keys sandwich, it was delicious. Perfectly sliced meat on a fresh soft sourdough roll. Chris was very helpful with the rest of my large complicated order for all my co workers. She provided excellent customer service. Everyone was happy with their food. I have to try the hawaiian calzone next, it looked so good! I will be back soon!

This is the second time in a row our order was not complete. The first time I’m like it was just bad luck. We ate there many times before no problem. Last time order we ordered lasagna and it was mainly sauce with a couple noodles. The garlic bread wasn’t in there. Today we ordered a bomedero sandwich. First they were out of rolls. Ok. I get home and there is not one piece of pulled pork on it. I basically got an overpriced ham sandwich. So I thought. After mentioning to my husband he saiWhich Is yet another let down. $24 for 2 sandwiches of which one is wrong I’m not

The quality of food, and the intricate detail that is put into the food is that of its own. The fresh sour sourdough bread, or the crunch Dutch crunch tastes as if it was just brought out the oven every time. The food here is delicious and I come here at least 2-3 times a week and it’s well worth it every time.Let me start with their pizza. Crunchy thin crust pizza with the finest quality meat will literally make your mouth water. The cheese and other ingredients don’t fall off once you pull a slice off. The dough is made fresh, topped off with freshly chopped veggies. Pizza and sandwiches in one spot ?!? You can’t go wrong with either.This spot is will worth the visit and I will recommend anyone to come here. #SupportSmallBusinesses

The food was good. Ordered the chief and some fruit juices. A bit on the pricey side but nonetheless good. Will I go back there? If Im in the area I may give it a 2nd shot. It felt and tasted healthy.

They make the yummiest sandwiches with interesting ingredients. I like the Chief sandwich with the Raspberry Chipotle Sauce. Their juices are very tasty too and I love the Tiger one... Also when they were out of cup holders for the car Cris helped me with carrying everything to the car. Great Place!

Wonderful food, staff and location here in Pleasant Hill. I order the Spicy Cajun sandwich on a Dutch Crunch. Perfect heat and ingredients. They started serving Pizza this year, 2020. Its a great addition to the menu. Sirens is central in the town with a produce market right next door.Thanks, everyone, for a solid deli experience.

Siren’s makes the most consistently delicious sandwiches and every time we go we leave happy!! Such kind people, such great food. We tell all our friends and family to go and order the 1st Responder (the epic house made basil, parsley, garlic sauce is to die for!!) on a sour dough roll with everything on it. And my husband highly recommends the beet juice :-)

I was reccomend to try this place by my sister-in-law who would stop here for lunch all the time when she worked nearby.Ive been twice now and between my wife and I have tried 4 different sandwiches (all on a dutch crunch roll), both of our favorites being the spicy cajun! My only gripe would be that theyre tiny sandwiches and I need 2 just to feel full. But quality over quantity I suppose since the flavor on all the onces Ive tried was top notch!

Small sandwich/pizza deli. Many sandwich choices for a picnic lunch. Quick service. Although they listed two vegetarian options, only the veggie sandwich was available. They also have pizza with vegetarian options. I would like to try that another time.

Id be down to give this place another try. Everything was above average except the chicken on the spicy cajun. ironically it needed salt and seasoning and was bland. 1 star for that sandwich. I hear the first responder is good though

Saw mixed reviews on yelp but wanted to give the place a chance since it’s nearby. Sandwich was decent but nothing special. Definitely not worth the cost as It just felt and tasted very basic despite sounding good on paper.Got breadsticks as well but the breadsticks are literally just thinly sliced pizza dough that’s been over cooked with absolutely no seasoning or any redeeming qualities for that matter.As if that wasn’t bad enough, they forgot the marina sauce so i don’t know what I’m supposed to do with these dry stale sticks. I could literally stab someone with how hard these are.Overall I could tell there was no effort put into this. It’s a shame because I was excited to try it.

Got two turkey sandwiches, a pastrami, a calzone, chips, and sodas. Good portions of tasty meat. Passed by five other delis in my 15 minute drive to get food from here. Friendly and good prices. Well worth it!

Great sandwiches, great service. Usually have a special of a soup or chili. As well as cycling flavors of on tap Kombucha.The sandwiches are sizable and dont skimp on meat. Expect to eat half of one if you arent active or ravenous.My only sorrow is lack of seating. I usually get my sandwiches to go here.

Sirens is a great sandwich shop. The specialty sandwiches are named after firehouse jargon and are all justifiable delicious by name. They have other specials on the board or you can order what you want and have it toasted. They have kombucha on tab. Salad and meats sold by the pound too. Good service and great sandwiches...Enjoy!

I love Sirens sandwiches, they have the best sauces, perfectly sliced meat and great bread, the garlic aioli keeps me coming back. The service varies though, the blond woman Chris is the best, friendly, fast yet perfect sandwiches. The others are okay, but she is the best by far. I was told she makes the aioli too. Hopefully she’s the owner, she’s the nicest one there. I definitely recommend Sirens.

When they first opened the sandwiches were good. They have definitely went downhill. The last couple of times I have gone they ate always out of 1 or 2 popular items and the sandwiches have so much bread with little meat. I wouldve loved to support because they are around the corner but I will not be back.

I have to say this is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the bay area. I prefer their sandwiches over ikes. The manager named Ali was super friendly as well! If you’re in the east bay or live close to the pleasant hill area then I suggest you all give Sirens a shot! A++++

Original owner that invented the sandwich board names sold the restaurant several months ago. Been some slippage since.The sandwiches are still good but the service speed has tanked.Positive: They are back to putting more meat on the sandwiches I order.Negative: There are never more than 2 employees working at lunch time and if there are more than 2 ppl in line expect a 10 to 15 minute wait. Got told that today. One employee was taking orders, collecting money and then made the sandwiches. The second was fiddling around walking to and from the back empty handed.There also seems to be some unfamiliarity with the menu by the employees my last few visits. I had to have them re-do my order last time because they didnt read the order instructions printed on the register slip and made my sandwich exactly how I DIDNT want it.Still worth a try but probably will have to drop em if they keep up the slow prep speed.Unfortunate because they seem to have the most of the rest figured out.Wait one more thing...every sandwich I have gotten here since the new owners took over, and my friends too, is gorped with sauce. Whether its mustard or mayo, Italian sauce or 1st or 2nd alarm, it comes squeezing out all over.Impossible to eat in a car or even at a table in a dress shirt. Trust me, make sure you watch what they are doing unless you want 2T of sauce everywhere when you are done.Also, they have run out of sandwich rolls on me here more than once at noon....how does that work?Risky for a small business that could teeter on the brink of failure losing customers.Overall a good spot otherwise.

Like the picture before of the Reuben review. Same thing, $9.50 for cold corn beef, melted swiss and mustard? It was small and never had the Russian dressing. Women behind counter made my sandwich in between taking money at the register using no gloves or washing her hands? Yuk, Firefighters names and job titles should never be represented in this D rated deli.Sell your restaurant to someone that cares.
