First Review : 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Second Review : During COVID, they are doing take out and dine in on the patio. Modified hours are 6am-2pm. Lunch is served all day. First time, I got I believe a burger and my SO biskets and gravy which he thought was meh because it was too much gravy. This time he got a super modified omelett with Jalepenos and Jack Cheese. He enjoyed. This time I got a Redwood (?) Sandwhich minus tomatoes. I enjoyed my sandwich. Service was lovely. On a final note, they do charge for sauces so if your one of those people who enjoy tons and tons of sauce its 69 cents each.
Ive been here a few times the food is always good, the staff are always so sweet. It can get crowded because it is little though.
Man, I really loved this place. I almost always find something I think could be better with a place but not here. The staff were friendly and attentive. They made us feel like fam. The food ( 3 separate meals) resulted in clean plates. It was delicious. The atmosphere was without political pandering on walls, and seeing the cooks work from the bar was a treat
Food and service were outstanding. I had the Reuben sandwich and my friend got an omelette. Both were good with ample portions. The server was so pleasant and had the perfect pace for our appetizer (onion rings) and food. She also refilled drinks without having to ask or hunt her down.The restaurant was a bit noisy, but it was peak lunch time and the place was packed. Will definitely go back for breakfast and lunch.

Fantastic corned beef hash! Tasty and crispy. Ordered 2 eggs over easy and 2 over medium, both came cooked perfectly. Server was friendly and attentive and coffee wasnt bad. Will be back!

Waitress that helped us out has helped us out the past two times and is super friendly. The food is delicious, it always comes out nice and hot and they dont lag on bringing it out. The place is always slammed which tells you the service is good.

Best breakfast we’ve had in town since we moved to Windsor in August! It’s amazing. I’d wait however long I needed to, but have never actually had to wait. Service is top notch. Food is always great.
My first visit. WOW! Incredible! Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Im a big guy and was full halfway through my meal; portions are large and delicious. I must also mention, our meals were Fantastic and the staff are Wonderful. Thanks. See you again soon.
Solid diner. The hash browns are really good - grated and cooked crispy. The Benedict was pretty good. The staff are friendly. Good prices for the portions. Not WeSoCo fresh, but meets all expectations. You may have to wait on n weekends.

This restaurant was a great find to our vacation! My husband and I are visiting Windsor for our anniversary and wanted a good place to eat. We definitely found that here at the Skillets Cafe! The Cafe was great from Caramel Delight who waited on us to the food and atmosphere. They recently added curly fries to their menu to test out and were recommended by Caramel Delight. It was a great suggestion and I agree with him that they need to keep them on the menu permanently. I had the bleu cheese burger with the curly fries and my burger was cooked to medium perfection, nice and juicy! Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

Nice little cafe with good food. We were looking for a quick bite to eat, had about a 10 minute wait before getting seated, and was still in and out within 30 minutes. Food was very good. I had chorizo and eggs, my son had the breakfast burger. Both were very good, big portions at reasonable prices. So now for the most important parts. Everybody that worked there was very friendly and smiling. Im pretty sure every employee that I saw, greeted us and asked how the food was. So service was great, plus it was nice and clean. I hope to return in the future.
Cute little diner with super nice staff. There were a lot of us and they helped get us in seats. The place is small so we had to break up into smaller groups but it was good. The food came quick and was made to order. I had the waffles and they were very good. I found this place from reviews in the area and am glad we went. The coffee wasnt the best but thats okay it doesnt make the establishment nor take away from the staff and food quality. Ill gladly stop by again.

We ordered food to go. I had the veggie skillet and it was delicious and very fresh tasting. My husband had the tri-skillet and he said it was great and chock full of meat! It was ready on time and pick up was easy. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Skillets is a classic diner style place great for breakfast. I really enjoy their Joes Special, Corned Beef Benedict and their burgers/fries are even pretty legit. Always friendly service.
Beat breakfast place in Windsor. Food is excellent and the service is even better. We often just get to go and except for them placing toast into container with the rest of order so it gets soft instead of staying crisp like toast should, everything else is fantastic

We where sitted right away and witch time we were ask what we wanted to drink. Drinks came fast. We needed a little more time to make up our minds lots of good things on the minu. Order was taken soon after. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Order was just as requested. Portions where generous. Food was very good. Drinks where refilled without having to ask. Prices where reasonable . The wait staff was great.

One of only two breakfast places I will eat at in Windsor. It is 4 stars because customer service is one of the most important if not the most important parts of any dinning experience. There is just one server there who I loathe entirely. She is short tempered and rude constantly after many visits. However most of the staff is nice. And their server Zane is the best!!! I ask for her by name now. If you ask to be served by her tip her well or she will find a better place to work!

Always always always good. Feels like home. They have never put out a bad plate of food in the 6 years Ive been regularly going.I have friends visit and thats the only place that they HAVE to go to while theyre here. Not the redwoods, Skillets. And, well, they arent wrong.
My wife and I love this place, we eat here at least once every couple of weeks for breakfast, its our go-to breakfast spot when we go out. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good (and served really quickly, too).
This is our go to brunch place in Windsor. Tasty, great service and good value. If youre really hungry them go for one of their giant skillets, for me the regular breakfast plates are perfect.

Heading to the Russian River to rock hound, got lost and found this charming place. Excellent food, fresh hash browns. Vegan options, enough for 2 meals for me. Talk to owner who was as charming as her place. Worth getting lost.
Ehhh. I came here a couple years ago and remember it being really good, atmosphere lively and a cool place. This time it was just very mediocre. Food was alright, not great. Wished I had gone somewhere else. Was charged like $4 for a glass of apple juice out of a $2 Safeway brand bottle, which I resent.
I finally stopped in after driving past for years. Glad I did! Great breakfast and lunch cafe. Tammy was my server and always refilling my coffee and remembering my name. I had the Irish Benedict and it was awesome...One of the rare occasions where the corned beef hash was moist and delicious...so many other breakfast joints serve up sawdust dry hash...Not here! Really nice Hollandaise Sauce too...Breakfast served all day (open til 3 pm). Looking for a breakfast/lunch place...This is it! Enjoy!
Great food, but our server was a total grump! Frim taking our drink order to slapping the bill down in front of us. She didnt smile or try to be pleasant once. She checked on us once when we were 80%, didnt ask if we needed anything else and just made us feel like an inconvenience all the way around... which is a bummer because the food was amazing and the other people appeared to be quite engaging. We will come back again and chalk this one up to a server having a bad day... fingers crossed next time turns out better.

My partner and I were looking for a place to get some food during our drive from the bay to mendocino and stopped here. My suggestion is that if youre vegetarian, eat somewhere else: the vegetarian options are among the most expensive (despite them not having meat in them, which is more expensive than vegetables) and they were not tasty.The staff was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. And it looked like for meat-eaters, there were lots of tasty options!
Usually a great place but whats the point of taking a list of customers waiting for a table at first come first serve if youre going to skip them over because the guy who just walked in happens to know the head waitress? Since we actually are friends with the owner Steve hell hopefully hear about this soon! So be pushy about your seating or youll be over looked for every regular!

Skillets is the go-to place in Windsor for breakfast and lunch. It is super well organized, food is excellent, and the waitresses are amazing. The place runs like a fine Swiss watch ⌚.
It was nice to escape from more touristy areas, and the biscuit was great. The skillet itself was kind of dry, though. Still, Id go again and try something else.

Mediocrity is a kind words for this place. Joes special and there was nothing special that I could tell other than it was filling. The black liquid poured into the coffee cup left much to be desired. Fortunately I left nothing behind to create a need to return.

I only gave it four stars because the coffee was just ok and at a diner the coffee should be great. Very good place to eat.
