First timer, Ill definitely return. Slice of the day was Detroit style Tony Jack square pan pizza which was fantastic. Crispy edges, light airy dough cooked thoroughly but not overcooked, with mildly spicy sauce and toppings. One slice and I was full. Dog Friendly patio with ample seating about the same size as the indoor seating. I took two other slice varieties home to share later with my wife. Priced reasonably for the quality of the food.Today April 23 was the official ribbon cutting ceremony with Folsom Mayor, Tony G and the new franchise owner in attendance, among others. I was here at lunchtime a few hours before the ceremony. I was able to have a quick chat with Tony G as he took a short break outside. With new franchises open and many in the works, opportunities for great pizza abound.

Great new pizza spot in Folsom. The pizza slices are very generous. Nice crispy bottom. Definitely not soggy New York style pizza... Plus Detroit style pizza with beautiful crunchy cheesy edges. They have Sicilian style pizza too but I havent that one. Friendly helpful staff! The wait for a whole pizza was a little long but definitely worth the wait. The 20-in pizzas are huge!! If you have hungry teenagers at home, I definitely recommend this place.

As a huge Pizza fan, not to mention Tonys in SF is my favorite pizza, I was not 100% satisfied with my visit. Granted they are new, Ill have to come back in a month or so to give them another try. The Hawaiian Hit Man was actually really good Detroit style, but was chewy. The Purple Potato was extremely chewy and hard, although I did like the toppings so Ill have to give it another try. Didnt taste fresh to me. If you want Tonys its worth the trip to SF and you will get Tonys . I wanted to give feedback while I was there however they were extremely busy during lunch time. I will be sure to come back and give it another review in a month or so.**Updated Review 1 Month Later on 4/23**Pizza was much better this time all around! I got 1 slice of the Detroit style Tony Jack which is my new favorite Detroit style by Tonys! It was amazing I will get this for sure next time. The crust was exceptionally fresh! I had to get back in line and get the Picante and it was super good and fresh! Best part of the experience was I ran into Tony G himself, Super Nice Guy! I will continue coming here hats off to the staff the have absolutely improved the freshness! I will be back

My wife and I went to the slice house for the first time. Authentic!This place is buzzin’ and you got folks traveling in, not just from Sac area but Bay Area too! Tony’s take on pizza is the authentic deal. The line is pretty long of course for recent opening. We are having an amazing experience as I am sitting here and writing this review. During our time here, we have gotten to speak with several staff and all have checked multiple times how the pizza is. Not only that, we have had several other customers approach us to ask us what we ordered. We had a slight mix up with order but Bill immediately asked us if we had the right thing and made the adjustments. This is amazing customer service and we’ll be back for more.The Chicken Bacon Ranch and the BBQ Chicken Pies were our top picks but I am 100% that everything on the menu is a safe bet. Don’t forget to get your loyalty card for a free slice on your tenth visit!Definitely check it out!

We had 3 different slices. It was delicious. The crust on the 2 thicker slices is a different kind of crispy! It was our 2nd visit. The first time was a Saturday during lunch, so it was super busy. Might have to wait for a table inside but worth it.

This is the only pizza I have had here in Sacramento that tastes like what you get in Europe. This pizza is legit, and a great price for the quality 🙌🏼 Everything is delicious - crust, sauce and toppings. Every ingredient is high quality. I already wanna go back, and I just ate there today.The staff is sooooooooo sweet. They’re going to do great there! I feel like they might as well just to go ahead and open a few more Slice Houses around Sac :)The photo below is of the Sicilian pizza.

Went on a weekday during lunch time.Fast service if ordering by-the-slice.Tried their traditional and wise guy pizza slices - both delicious. Love the crust and sauce. Generous with the toppings as well.Didnt know the portion sizes were so huge! Worth the ~$6.50! The next time I visit, Ill be ordering just one slice.Definitely plan to visit again! Since they opened about a month ago, I have been back over five times. The first time I popped in was during the soft opening. That visit and the following ones within the first week, were great. Pizzas had a great baked crusts even after the re-heat. Gorgeous looking slices, outstanding flavors for either dine in or take out. Five stars. But as the weeks have gone by, the slices are slacking. Over baked, less cheese, the sauce has lost its zing. They don’t quite taste the same.The past three times, the slices were over baked giving it a dry, tough texture. Aww. Sad. Because when they are done right, oooohhh it’s delicious!!! So they gotta work on the cooking consistency.My faves are the sweet Gino $6.60 a slice. It’s a focaccia style thick, square pizza crust. When it’s done right, the crust should be airy, dense with a soft chew, light crispness with great flavors. It should taste buttery with no oilness with beautiful hues of golden crust colors. Not brown. The sweet tomato sauce had a nice depth of flavor and balanced with drizzle of thick balsamic. The pizza had slices of mozzarella and garnished with strips of basil. They use slices of avorio and ovoline mozzarella. Quality stuff. Creamy melt.Sicilian Traditional slice- $6.60. It has pepperoni and sausage toppings on focaccia crust. Clean, classic flavors when the bake is done right.You can get a slice (average $7) or whole pie ($22-38) in various styles: New York, Grandma, Sicilian, and Detroit. They also have salads, pastas, and dessert options. The patio and inside dining area is tiny.

Let me preface by saying that we are huge Tony G fans, but we drove to Folsom to try the new Slice House (in a new strip mall), and were disappointed with the pizza.There are no Neapolitan pizzas, and not even a solid straight-up margarita topping on one of the crust styles (NY, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit).We decided to try the basic tomato pie on a Grandma crust, and knew there was something wrong after taking a single bite... the crust was tough and hard. Either it wasnt proofed correctly or wasnt hydrated enough. I couldnt easily chew the crust and only ate the center of my slice.It was $27ish before tax. I only ate one of the four pieces, husband had two.Disappointing. Well stick to the SF Slice House for good pizza.

Guess what? We hit the jackpot trying out the fresh pizza joint at Folsom Ranch! Its set to officially kick off this Saturday, February 3rd, but guess what? Swing by this week, and everyone snags a free slice! Tony himself graced the grand opening, and let me tell you, the kids went bonkers over those enormous slices. Slice House is amazing!!! My husband was so excited to get one in Folsom. He works in the Bay Area and loves their San Ramon location. We very gladly drive from Roseville to Folsom for this pizza. It’s almost impossible for our family to spend less than $100 on dinner (yes even pizza). I think the prices here are very fair.We ordered 12 take out pizzas for a graduation party. Our very large order was ready promptly and all food was packed impeccably. Seriously, huge thank you for excellent customer service and yummy pizza!! We also appreciate that they honor military discount. We may live a little out of the way, but this is our go to pizza spot.

Great Pizza! Many flavorful innovative creations. Several different US regional pizza styles to choose from. Many other options aside from pizzas. Good prices compared to the played out chain places. The only negative is the size and the small amount of seating. I really love a classic mom and pops pizzaria, but if your looking for a fresh experience and some new ideas on pizza, this is the place to be!

Best pizza in Folsom. If youre looking for that New York flavor, you wouldnt normally find anywhere in or near Folsom, this is the place. The variety of crusts, sauces and toppings is abundant. I will spend the coming months trying out many different specialty slices. I especially loved the 1oz bottles of hot pizza oil for sale, its a nice touch. The cashier was incredibly kind, the (reheat) order was speedy. Prices are very competitive ($6-$7 for a large slice). Two slices was more than enough for my huge appetite. The interior dining area is small, I will say, but intimate. It feels... homy. You can tell theres an attention to detail here. They are really trying to make a pizza staple for the nearby neighborhood 👍

Not even close to the slice house in sf. I was really excited to try their pizza when they opened up but it was a let down. The taste is way off. I tried two slices and didn’t even feel like like finishing them.Edit: I visited a second time and this time the pizza was far better. I had two slices and they were pretty good. Still not 100% but a huge improvement over the last visit. One slice was a little cold on the inside and hot on the outside but the taste was right. I hope to be back soon.

Best pizza in Folsom, by far. Can’t really go wrong with this artisan pizza compared to your Folsom staples of Dominos, pizza with a twist, or papa murphy’s. The pizza is so delicious, crispy crust, juicy toppings - we enjoyed it so much. However, the garlic bread was a disappointment… we got it without the cheese to really taste the dish. Maybe that was our mistake. It was bland, the bread was soft and flat, and it wasn’t as enjoyable as our pizza. For $9 or so garlic bread, which is more than the daily slice, that’s pretty disappointing. Opt to sit outside as the inside can get pretty musky and humid, coating your entire existence with the smell of pizza grease. But be on the hunt, on a busy day. We saw people standing and eating or sitting on a bench to eat their fresh pizza because the seating was limited. Overall, we’d come again, just for the pizza.

By the slice and the slices are very generous. Lots of different options. I made a sampler of the different styles - New York style, Detroit style, Sicilian Style. Each was a solid offering. None knocked my socks off, but all were at a level I’d seek again and be very happy with and seek over most other local offerings. Also got the meatballs and those did not disappoint. Prices seemed very reasonable - making it very good value, and a relatively quick option too.

Best pizza to be found on the West Coast. All their slices are delicious. But here are two suggestions to the business owners, because there are a few areas for improvement: (1) there is a pretty large demographic of vegetarians (or at least non-beef eaters) in the area. Sometimes the cheese by the slice is the only one available. Adding one more vegetarian slice in the permanent space would attract more customers. (2) The Detroit style slices seem like they get a little scorched in the initial cook or when reheating because sometimes the toppings are burnt on them (only noticed this with Detroit style)

Disappointing. I am an Italian New Yorker, so I was pretty excited about trying out this new place here in Folsom. The NY style cheese pie was not right…hard, overcooked crust and the cheese was tough. This is not NY style. The teenage girls hanging out behind the counter talking to each other are useless. I don’t think they knew that they were supposed to be working and helping customers.I really wanted to like this place and enjoy some great pizza to remind me of home. I’ll give it some time since they’re new and maybe need to work out the kinks. Maybe we’ll give it another try in a few months.

Best pizza in memory rivaled Tony’s in San Francisco then I found out it was one of his offshoots. My favorite was the wise guy pizza. Ok so I come to this place a couple times a week and the pizza is amazing. It’s really really good. Can never go wrong with a pepperoni or Motörhead slice. I usually do not write reviews But over the course since I been going there I noticed 2 individuals who stood out amongst the rest of the staff who showed exceptional customer service and care. One of them is Tori. She always goes above and beyond with her customer service and definitely works harder than most of the rest. Every time I have went there she always greets with a smile and really pays attention and listens. She is never standing around doing nothing. Same goes for Jordan. Excellent behavior a customer Service. Amazing worth ethic. Thank you for the terrific pizza! Extra kudos to those two individuals

We purchased a vegetarian New York 20”XL. It was delicious. The pizza was hot right out of the oven loaded with mushrooms, red, yellow and green peppers, thinly sliced green onions, olives, the peppadew peppers enhanced the favor of the pizza. Went with my wife, got one slice of the Sicilian and one of the pepperoni. Sicilian was great but not warm enough, wife’s regular pepperoni was terrible. Was almost cold and tasted stale, embarrassingly bad. Staff member seemed to be in a bad mood as well, I should say she seemed annoyed when helping a customer but very happy when lolligagging with the rest of the 20 employees there. Another customer walked in and said he was trying to get through on the phone for some time, he was obviously upset since there were so many employees loudly chatting and hanging out. The employee told him they just had a huge rush and were busy, but that wasn’t the case since we had been there and there was no rush at all. Keep the pizza fresh, and get an adult manager in there to keep staff in check.

I was excited to hear that a New York Style by the slice pizzeria was coming to Folsom. I was disappointed when I found small slices than expected however. When I think New York, I imagine a slice you can wear as a hat. A whole pie that would overlap the small tables found here ... still, the taste was damned good. I do wish they had a neapolitan style margherita option. I do wish they had more customisation options, but Ive still visited 3 times now and plan to keep returning at least monthly.The service here has been poor. The place is also too small to currently serve the customers that are pouring in, at least during my visits. Wait times are excessive. All signs of growing pains I suppose. The counter staff tends be snarky as well. Hopefully a larger place will come next with seating for bigger groups and a slightly more relaxed atmosphere.I also think they should under bake there pies a little more as when they reheat your slices they tend to get a little over done. Extra crispy or slightly burnt should be an option, not the norm. My wife however prefers hers a little crispier and the overall flavors still convince me their pizza is better than anyone elses in the Greater Sacramento Region so far.Their prices are a bargain (at least in California) for the overall quality they produce. Though small, their New York slices dont disappoint other than that. Their Detroit slices take me back home to Buddys in Detroit where I am originally from. The sauces, cheeses and meats have all been of the highest qualities.If you are in California and love pizza as much as I do ... here are my suggestions:Chicago Deep Dish - Ginos East (LA)Traditional Napoli Style - Desanos (Santa Monica)Everything Else Pizza - Slice House (Folsom)Despite my complaints, Im still giving this place 5 stars!

We walked in and ordered pizza and the staff did not notify us how long it would take. We just stood there and waited for 50minutes for pizza but the staff did not care at all. We watched them just being on the phone, talking, and laughing in front of customers. The employees look like they are just having fun getting paid. There was no manager advising them for their behavior or it seems to be just the management has no control. Also, there was no area for wheelchair accessibility. We saw the gentleman with wheelchair could not access to the restaurant and we felt very bad.The pizza was all smushed when we got them as pictures, and the service was very bad. Even though they are not offering full dine-in service, the manager or owner will really need to care about their employees how they operate the business. Especially, it has been a month only since they open. We won’t come back.

First time trying this place in Folsom since it’s just near our place. Staff are friendly, the place was packed because it’s a small dining area. I ordered the lunch combo with green salad, pepperoni pizza with drink. I read the mix reviews of other people but I wanted to give this place a try because we tried the one in SF. Unfortunately the pizza we ordered was not what I expected. You ordered the pizza per slice that was already cooked and they will just reheat it. The dough was chewy and you can tell that it’s not fresh. It’s ok for me if the pizza needs to reheat, but maybe they can cook it halfway so when the customer order it would not be chewy/ hard. The pepperoni was way too salty for me. They were busy so the garbage needs to be emptied. Hopefully they can do something about the pre cooked slices of pizza so we can try this place again. Just my personal opinion.

My family and I really like this place. Very close to our house, and great pizza. Admittedly, not every kind of pizza Ive tried there is a homerun, but that is more just my personal preferences.I love the NY style and Detroit style!! The hawaiian hitman on detroit style is FANTASTIC!Service is usually good, but they are new and they have made a few smaller mistakes with us, but they also acknowledge and rectify the situation.I would agree with what others have said. Some of the teenagers working in the front do seem to be lost a bit and need better training in how to use their time.

As the restaurant does not accept phone orders for a whole fresh pizza to go, I tried walking in and ordering a few individual slices to go.The NY pizza slices were reheated in some rolling toaster oven so the crust ended up being like cardboard. Next time Ill try ordering them without reheating it to see if the crust is any good.The thicker crust slices were OK, maybe a little on the dry side because of reheating.I did notice that all pizzas were a little skimpy on the cheese.I hope that the growing pains go away and that the teeenagers working there start getting some experience in pizza making. Do not doordash from here. In person its delicious but they will line orders out atleast 6 deep( my order was #6 written on box) . The order was placed early to try and insure a timely delivery. Placed about 9am and store opens at 11am. Order arrived approximately 12:27 and was stone cold. Food costs to much to waste on a business like this.

As Italians we love pizza in our family, went to the store to try some pizza, truly it was nothing out of the ordinary, and they had us waiting FOR AN HOUR! So disrespectful! After almost half n hour waiting I went to the counter to ask the guy what was going on…his response was “don’t you see how many people are here, it’s gonna take at least 50 minutes”…never in my life to had to wait an hour to get a pizza, and it was not even worth the wait. When I finally got the pizza it wasn’t cut, and when I asked for them to cut it one of the girls there tried to grab a pizza cutter FROM THE FLOOR AND CUT IT WITH IT! Luckily the manager stopped her! Not coming back again. And please! Learn not to burn the pizza!AS YOU CAN SEE BELOW, they offered us a free pizza to enjoy so we could have a better experience, I am surprised to say that this second experience was even worse than the first! Please, learn to cook pizza! You don’t have to burn the cheese, it doesn’t have to be black and crispy, it needs to be gilded and creamy, please learn how to cook something with cheese on it!! We will not visit you ever again, so please don’t even bother offering something to improve the experience, we don’t need to, we are Italians and this is shameful! You are not pizzaiolo! You are just people that think that because you have a pizza bun in your hands you know how to make pizza and you can’t! Don’t say you are Italian pizza because you are not! Absolute trash pie and I’ll tell you why. Their dough is undercooked and low quality but the worst part is their sauce. It tastes like sugar sauce, designed to be palatable for Chuckee Cheese children. They make the same mistake Pasquele’s in Fair Oaks makes: low quality dough and low quality sauce and that together is the fundamental building blocks of good pizza. This is all for a 12” pie priced $22 - $34.Stop supporting dining places that overcharge with low quality food that try to make up for it with “atmopshere”. Please submit all true feedback reviews to Google, Yelp, and OneBite so these places can learn from their mistakes and they stop defending the food that they know they haven’t put through the quality test.

This is review is for the young (Hispanic? Indian?) female employee with the red bandanna who was working around 3pm on March 15. She is absolutely a horrible worker!I came in to grab a slice for lunch. I noticed right away, the men were in the back working and making pizza, while the young female employees were up front, talking amongst themselves.Red Bandanna girl wasn’t doing anything.In fact, she made some snide remark when I dropped my salad dressing on the floor. Red bandanna didn’t even help, and ran into the bathroom to avoid work- Coming out seconds later to complain about the mess in the bathroom and to complain about customers. Tried to call ahead to place an order, phone number straight up did not work. Walked in, tried to order a half and half Sicilian style pizza, was told they only do the NY style half and half. Ok fine, so I’ll take a half Picante half hot honey. Now I’m told they can only do half cheese, half pepperoni.. ok, back to a Sicilian style, Picante please.. I’m told it’ll be ready in 25-30 minutes. I set my timer for 25, and because the place is small and crammed, I wait in my car. As I’m in my car, one of the employees comes out and motions me to roll down my window, and asks me if I’m one of four people. I am not. Later, my alarm goes off so I go inside immediately. The place is busy so I go wait where others are waiting, and the employees are calling names. I wait. I wait some more. 15 minutes goes by and finally an employee talks to me, asks my name. I tell him. He goes over to a box and tells me “this has been ready for awhile man.” I tell him “no one told me.” He asks me if I’ve been in there the whole time, and before I get a chance to answer, he says he called my name 4 times. At this point I don’t have the patience to explain all this to him, plus the place is extremely loud and busy, so I just told him this is terrible and they need to get it together. He says “this is terrible?” And walks away from me. I get home, pizza is cold and not worth the money or the wait.I’m someone who loves trying new places around town, and if a place is good, I frequent it and usually bring friends and spread the word. This is by far the worst first experience I’ve had at a new spot in Folsom, and Sacramento for that matter. I know working in an environment like that is stressful, and fast paced, but this experience and my treatment is inexcusable. Wish I could give them a 0/5.

New pizza spot in folsom that just opened. When I got there I seen a bunch of people waiting outside so I asked them if they were waiting and they said No, that they told them they were out of pizza dough and apologized. This might be a lil picky but if you carry a big name in the pizza industry and run out of ingredients upon opening the restaurant it shows a lack of care from management and ownership. As far as the pizza goes idk if its good or not because they dont have enough food to supply customers i wonder what else they run short on. First impression is very important and I dont see myself coming back to a pizza restaurant that cant make me pizza.

3.5 The ordering process was easy and seamless. Slice of pizza came out quick. The issue I had was I also ordered garlic bread. When my pizza came out, I got no update on the garlic bread. I asked a couple minutes later and they said something to the kitchen. I waited 8-10 more minutes and I had to ask again. At that time it was just being boxed and then handed to me. I wish they had told me it would be 12-15 min wait for garlic bread. And then the garlic bread was very basic. Stick to the pizza here.
