I’m always looking or down to try smash burgers.Saw this was an option so I checked it out.Wednesday Night about 8:00 pm, no line, not busy at all.Order was taken and I waited about 10 min for my food, it was fresh, hot and delicious!Burger had plenty of meat, unlike some places (in n out).Smash burger paired with Mac n Cheese and a beer to wash it down.They do have some TVs inside and 1 outside on the patio area.Definitely will be back for more options that they have.Cost: was a bit on the pricey side for a burger

Lives up to the hype. Fried chicken is easy to screw up, I thought this was perfectly done chicken. Dry rub to sauce ratio very well balanced. Brisket cooked exactly the way it’s supposed to be. I’ve been smoking bbq for ten years, this is the way brisket is supposed to be done. They kept a good amount of fat and seasoning integrated into the meat. Desiree was awesome. Kept the beers flowin and provided an awesome family environment just like their story says. We didn’t want to leave. Thanks Smoke and Fire for delivering exactly what a restaurant should.

BEST. BURGER. EVER. First of all, the first bite was so good I thought I was eating while high (it was THAT good). The pickles taste like homemade pickles and are like *candy*. I don’t like pickles and I found myself wanting a pickle with every bite. I have an onion allergy and was SO sad I couldn’t have the onions on it because I know it would’ve been mind blowing. Also tried the taco, quesadilla, and Mac n cheese. Honestly - all I need is that smash burger. They’re out here doing the lord’s work, ON GOD. Also, our girl Cailyn was so helpful and ensured our food wasn’t affected by my allergy!

A friend of mine told me this plac e was really good so I had to go find out myself! It was delicious, at a decent price, and the employees were vey helpful with us. We were looking at the whole menu, confused, but the server assured us you cannot go wrong because everything is good! We each got the 1/2 beef brisket sandwich which was really good! The beer I got is called “Pasa la bolsita ” which means (pass the baggy”, I was very impressed with this Mexican lager. My buddy ordered some waffle fries and my wife got some 🥵 hot tenders on the side, really good but so spicy. Definitely coming back.

This is a great place for BBQ. The staff were nice and it seemed like a clean place. My family and I sat outdoors. After you order at the cash register in the front, they give you a number and then bring your food when it’s ready. I had a 1/2 pound of brisket and fries. It was delicious and I loved the crust on the brisket. 100% recommend but not for someone vegan or vegetarian. I think they have vegan options but I think they mostly serve meat. I added a description of each dish below their respective image.

Pros: The service is top notch. The people taking your orders are very friendly. The atmosphere is nice. I like sitting in the outdoor area myself but the inside is nice too. The sides are all really good. Definitely Recommend Mac and Cheese.Cons: The meat doesn’t quite taste as good as it looks. The pictures look amazing but the meat, mainly the brisket and beef rib just aren’t as juicy and tender as I’d prefer. I smoke my own briskets on my electric smoker (which are about 8/10), so if I go to a bbq place I’m expecting them to be using a real wood offset smoker and for them to be able to get their briskets juicier and more tender than mine. Their’s is as good as mine at best so it’s not worth me spending money on it.

Smoke and Fire is a popular and highly recommended restaurant by my friends. Always good food! Chicken sandwich is my favorite. Brisket tacos and the big Texan is my favorite! Yummy cheese sauce too!EVERYTHING is delicious!!! You cant go wrong.Another aspect of Smoke and Fire that is praised for their customer service. Their staff is kind and accommodating, making my dining experience great.Additionally, you should sign up for discounts with their email, providing an added incentive to visit the restaurant. This place was The Bomb. Definitely fire.

Possibly the best service I’ve ever gotten from a cashier ordered restaurant. The cashier was dope and made sure we were doing good several times. The food itself is decent. Brisket is nice and tender. The “en fuego” chicken fries were really not spicy at all. The Texas brisket grilled cheese is VERY greasy with a generous amount of brisket and cheese.

I really happen to enjoy the spicy chicken from here but the other barbecue options that they have are not as amazing as some other places that are close by. Its not that its not good its just not as good as what I happen to like.The staff however is incredibly kind and helpful. They have been every time we have gone.Sometimes the atmosphere is very nice, its not too loud, and there is seating near the fountain outback. Other times its super packed and filled with kids and teens since its not too far from the high school but thats what makes the atmosphere not a five. If youre going for the chicken though then thats something that I would definitely recommend.

The brisket burrito was hands-down amazing! We also got the hot chicken sandwich that was so good as well. This location compared to the one in Anaheim is such a disappointment though because it is not full service and everything seemed really messy and the atmosphere doesnt match the quality of the food. We will be back again because it was so good..... the restaurant just needs some work.

The staff is really friendly and good about cleaning the tables once people leave.Brisket burrito was bomb, I would say the meat inside was juicer than the 3oz of brisket I got on the side. The burrito has a lot going on & I didn’t even finish half of it, you can definitely split that burrito between 2 people. It’s a heavy item and the Mac n cheese inside makes the burrito cheesy tasting. The side of brisket I didn’t care for, I’m not a brisket connoisseur but I thought it was mediocre.The burger my boyfriend loved and said was pretty good and would get again. I took a bite and it was a juicy burger.The Reina Mac n cheese was complimentary, I wasn’t crazy about it. We both the Mac n cheese was too thick tasting, the Mac n cheese in my burrito was creamier than that. Not something I would go out of my way to get and probably wouldn’t get if I went back there again.Would come back here again but wouldn’t mind trying something else if I was in town.

This place is a hidden gem that’s literally absolutely amazing! This is my first time going after I found out it is halal (cruelty free meat). I really wish I could give them additional stars. When we ordered we got the food so quickly. Amazing seating and the food was delicious!!!I’m seriously so obsessed with everything we purchased. 100% recommend the mac rib, Nashville hot chicken, and brisket quesadilla. Food: I ordered the Brisket Tacos and Mac and Cheese. The Brisket Tacos come in a trio. They are a little bigger than street tacos. The meat was flavorful and tender, topped with burnt cheese and coleslaw, and wrapped in a corn tortilla. They were yummy as described, though I wish there was more meat because I cant get enough of the brisket. The Mac and Cheese comprised of elbow noodles and topped with a creamy black pepper cheese sauce. The portion was rather small and I wish it were bigger because it was explosive!Service: The clerk at the counter was prompt and polite. He also explained the menu and gave us recommendations. My order came fast and was accurate.Final thought: I have to come back because rumor is, their Hot Chicken Sandwich is out of this world. I need it in my life!

This place is absolutely unreal! Great food and even better people. The staff are absolute gems. Ive never been to a restaurant where the staff have been this involved and doing everything they can to make sure that me and my family are happy with our experience. Especially Cailyn & Natalie they really made us feel super happy we picked this place. Cailyn is the best manager of any place Ive been to and we came all the way from Canada for this brisket and we were not disappointed in the least bit. Great food, great people, the best experience!

My son and I went here on 11/18/23. I got a pound of brisket, and he got the Mac rib sandwich. Everything tasted good however, we believe the meat was spoiled because we both got sick from the food. I assume it was the brisket, because we both are brisket. Its a shame though because we liked the taste, it just left us both throwing up and with diarrhea for 2 days. Wont be going back! For the prices, the meat should be fresh and high quality!!

The brisket fries were very good. Waffle cut fries with cheese, BBQ sauce and pickles. Also, tried the chicken sandwich with ghost pepper ~ it was okay,(kinda small compared to Angry Chicz and not very spicy) and does not come with fries. The Black lemonade was on point! Overall not bad, but you have a hankering for a Nashville chicken sandwich with better value then try AC or Daves Hot.

I’m from San Diego, so I had really high expectations for the food. To me it was very basic flavors. The only thing that was cool was the quesadilla we ordered (I know, not impressive at all.) the staff was cool, restaurant was clean, but unless it’s pictures for social media Flavor profile was missing big time. The beef rib was moist and youll be able to slide out the bone with ease to let the meat properly lay in the triple decker sandwich thats enough for two people to share. At this time, I didnt share and it was all for me. The sandwich will involve your whole effort to clear the corners of your mouth and the salty sweet and cheesy taste will introduce and stay in your mouth to live. Was it worth the bite and food coma? Yes. Will I eat it by myself again? No; this is as advertised, a social eatery and this sandwich is best to share.The staff was friendly and included waffles fries complimentary with the sandwich. First time here. Cool spot. Clean establishment including the restroom. Service was exceptional. Kayla helped me with the menu and made good suggestions. This place is great! I wouldnt really call this a BBQ joint as they really only have a couple of BBQ items. This restaurant really specializes in creating barbecue adjacent food items. For instance, you can get a brisket quesadilla (my favorite item) that is very unique to Southern California. You can also get brisket nachos or Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The best thing about this restaurant is the value. You can get a gigantic brisket sandwich for under $15. I dare you to find the same quality anywhere else in California for a similar price. The service is also impeccable! The dude who helped us at the counter went seriously out of his way to ensure we had an amazing experience from beginning to end. This is another excellent addition to my 4.7+>100 Reviews restaurant list.

Wow, delicious! Efficient and scrumptious hands up to the kitchen. Heavy human traffic but the establishment is all hands on making sure everyone is safe.I ordered a West Coast Smash Burger with Mac&Cheese. It tasted great but would have preferred it to be warmer. The family had a brisket grilled cheese, smashed fries, waffle fries, mud pie and the chicken tenders.Next time, I am having the brisket, lots of flavors. The toast was soft, the brisket was soft and the sauce pickle flavor was southern delicious.Overall, the place was inviting, outside sitting with light and heaters, live music and great service. I definitely recommend this place.

Great to see a top place serving quality food with halal meat.Me and my brother went in and were greeted by one of the owners who was very friendly. Gave us an overview of the menu and also mentioned that their online menu has some secret items not listed in the store menu. One item he suggested to try was the brisket tacos. We then went to Tommy who is also a co owner and he was also amazing. Very friendly and he hooked us up. We ordered the brisket tacos, smash burger and he gave us chicken fries on the house!We sat at the table and food didnt take long. Everything we ordered taste amazing!! These guys know how to cook. Their staff are very attentative and polite. They come every so often to see to check up in you or if we need something.As for the food- the brisket melts in your mouth. The friend chicken with fries taste amazing. We asked him to make it spicy. It has a nice kick to it. And the smash burger was awesome.This was place had a lot of good reviews so we went in with high expectations and to our surprise it did not dissapoint. Its a small local eatery in a shopping mall. To be honest, it kinda resembles Dog Haus Biergarten but they do BBQ no hotdogs. They offer beer and wine. You order at counter, pick up beer at end and they bring you your food. I ordered the texas beef brisket grilled cheese. I liked the brisket, it was tender and flavorful. The grilled crunchy cheese was a plus. It was pretty good. My buddy ordered the Nashville hot chicken and Laurens salad. The chicken sandwich had a good kick to it. Pretty spicy. The chicken tenders used where a little dry but it had a good crunch. I had to dip in some ranch to wet it. So, they have a secret menu. I only found out because a buddy sent me a post from Instagram and I asked a waitress if they had the sandwich. So its a monster sandwich called the Mc Rib. It has a thick Rib bone, on top of their Texas beef brisket grilled cheese, on top of a double cheese burger. It was a monster. Least to say if could feed 3 or 4 small people. It did cost $30, but I needed to see and taste this monster. So the rib was thick and juicy. It had a good sauce glazed on. The brisket was the same and the burger just added a layer. It was difficult to choose which bite I wanted. It was so massive that you cant get a taste of everything in one bite. It was a fun food experience. I would say, try it once and its big enough to share the experience with a couple friends or family. I recommend the place, they have good BBQ. I gave them one less star mainly because the staff at the register didnt mention the secret menu when I asked about the food and specials.

The Mac Rib Sandwich was the best! So much deliciousness in one sandwich/burger. The meat is so tender and flavorful. They also have the best customer service and such friendly staff! Matthew was the best! We visited at lunch time and it was not too busy and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Will definitely be returning to this place when in the area.

Wow! My son and I tried this place today. Super delicious! My son ordered the Mac Rib off of the secret menu ( they post these specialty items on their Instagram). It was a smash burger, a bone in beef rib, and smoked brisket on yummy toasted bread. Umm.. he loved it. I got a taste and it was amazing! I enjoyed the grilled cheese beef brisket sandwich. So good! Ordered spicy yaki wings 12 piece with fries, Brisket and bacon burrito and brisket sandwich. It was all BAD.👎Wings were over cooked and not edible. The brisket burrito was dry and had egg (which you cant taste but only see) and not sure why. The sandwhich brisket was served on a bagel and was horrible. They seem to be breakfast items and should be labeled as breakfast. Disappointed

Update- I have found what I like and just go with it when I come here.What is truly impressive though is their community involvement. They are great with the local high school/ athletic teams.Please come and support this business like they support our community!Saw and heard so much hype on social media but after 1st visit it didn’t live up to it. That’s not to say it isn’t good.Had brisket sandwich. I took a piece out to try before eating it as a whole. Brisket was above average but the cheese and bread overtakes the the brisket. It’s too bad because I really liked the brisket. It’s not Texas brisket but what is?Kids really liked the burgers, salad was good and the Rudy’s Vegan Stacked Sando was a Homerun. They need to keep it full time. Fries are fries. The chicken wasn’t ground breaking but the portion was incredible.I will return and give it a go again and try the brisket fries minus the bbq sauce.

As soon as we entered the door me and my wife were created with a sincere “hello” not just a busy hello. Right off the bat we met Brandon who took our order and was just amazing!! He gave suggestions on how what to eat for first timers. You knew this guy has tasted everything on the menu!! He was just so knowledgeable! The place is so clean you can dine inside or outside. They will take your order to you.The food was amazing I got the MAC RIB that is literally two burger patties brisket and a FREAKIN RIB!!! As a sandwich!! This this is amazing!!! So tender juicy and the bbq sauce was on point!! the Texas style brisket fries were amazing!! Nacho cheese sauce with waffle fries with brisket on top!! It don’t get any better!!. The wife got the brisket grilled cheese that was great!! The brisket was soft and tender. Everything was amazing!! Ohh and to make it even better we met Joe the female general manager!! This woman is amazing!! She came up to me and my wife and asked how was the food she actually had a conversation with us and go to know us. Then to top it off she thanked us for supporting her business and treated us to a mud pie dessert!! I can’t even explain this thing!! It’s was just on point!! First of all this place deserves 5 stars just for the food alone. But add the fact that their customer service is also extraordinary and i wish i could give 10 stars. We literally ordered 1 of everything on the menu and were not disappointed with a single purchase. On top of that we ordered their mcrib sandwich which isnt even on the menu. $30 for a sandwich seemed excessive until i took the first bite. I was in Heaven. Id order that again in a heartbeat. Order anything you want. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I have eaten at a string of multiple BBQ places lately. We saw this on Yelp and thought wed give it a try. We ultimately decided that place was fine. Perfectly acceptable food, but probably not enough for us to come back and try again. Everything just tasted pretty good was the consensus.I would, however, give 4-stars to the staff because the staff was great. It felt like a sit-down restaurant because they kept checking on us to make sure we were happy and would offer to get more dips or refill our drinks. So the staff I have no complaints about. Give them all raises.I also dont understand why the chicken sandwich looks the way it does. Why not just use a longer bun like a hoagie or something? Just a suggestion.

If you come with a crowd and need an appetizer as you wait go for the Cheese and pretzel. I really wish either Dodger stadium or Angel stadium would make such a great tasting pretzel like this. Came on a Sunday afternoon, it was really busy. We ordered for dine in, they have outdoor seating area on the side.Our food was okay, I got the loaded mac and cheese with brisket, I wanted the Mac and cheese to be creamer I felt it was a bit watered down. She made sure I was taken care of and gave great customer service!I feel like this is definitely one of those places you should dine in and not do to-go orders though.I ordered $55 worth of food to-go and it was more than enough for 2 people, with leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day for us both 😅 Was shocked at the total and now understand the portions are larger than usual and that’s why. The manager helped us pick out what we wanted since it was our first time there. We sat outside. It was starting to get busy when we arrived at around 5pm. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out, which seemed a reasonable amount of time to me considering the activity and the food. The portions were just perfect and were very filling. I had the absolute best time at Smoke and Fire. We went on Friday night there was a live musician playing guitar, tons of patio seating and amazing food. This place was indeed fire. I honestly didnt expect much walking in but the food blew me away. I had the Brisket Fries and my husband had a burger. It was fantastic. Their meat was so good and their fries were out of this world. The service is also phenomenal, everyone was so friendly! I am really impressed and I will be returning.

I dont know where to start... Most of you probably saw this on Tik Tok and decided to try it out like me and my girl did. We were looking forward to this all week. We were finally able to make it out there on a Saturday. Like most places these days there is a line outside due to Covid. I have to give credit where its due, their line was moving along fast. I think there was 30 people or so, in front of us when we got in line. Took about 20 minutes to get to the register and place our order. Great organization of a line to get you in and out so you are not waiting long.Now for the reason I only gave it 2 stars. Like most of you you probably want to try the delicious looking version of the McRib. Get to the register and they inform us that they are sold out of the McRib. Why not put a sign out front that says they are sold out so people can decided if they still want to wait in line or not. We brushed it off and decided to they their Smash burger, pretzel, and criss cross fries. Criss cross fries amazing, Smash burger was OK nothing special just a regular smash burger. Their pretzel and cheese was such a disappointment. The pretzel was cold and chewy, the cheese they give you for the pretzel was cold and the amount they gave you was very little. You are left with half a cold chewy pretzel when you are done with your cheese.In conclusion: My tip for you guys that want to try the McRib. Go in and ask if they are sold out of the McRib before you wait in line . You want a pretzel with cheese? Ask for double cheese and have them warm it up before they bring it out to you.P.S. Food is ok. Not that memorable. I tried their chicken sandwiches, the brisket sandwich and their burger and all of them are passable. I also tried their Big Mac, beef rib on brisket sandwich, again, just ok. Their sides are kind of less than ok to my taste. Mac and cheese is kind of having a waxy texture, and the cut corn is kind of not my taste as well. If you dont have any bbq places around, its acceptable. If I have to drive another 20 mins to get something better, I would.

Great experience overall. I see that my experience at Smoke and Fire Whittier has stayed consistent. Its been a while and I wanted to introduce one of my best friends to the place. She lives in Ojai, CA so they dont have a location nearby. It definitely met all of our expectations from our first greeting by Saul to be end where we packed our leftovers and felt satisfied. Menu is simple and to the point best part But dont forget to check out the Secret Menu Items pictures on Instagram came in and had to start with the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with the Medium rub. And a cup of Mac and chesse. The Mac and Cheese has brought me to my knees and brought back memories of home made Mac n cheese from the farm I never even had lol. The chicken was better then Ive ever had and as a non chicken person this made me want more and to come back for dinner the rub was on point not to much not to little. Had a small taste of the brisket Pre sauce and oh man it tasted cleaner then fresh air it was a memory Maker for sure. This place has me hooked for life they can move anywhere and Id travel. This was our first time eating here and it was amazing! There was SO much flavor. We had a variety of menu choices that ranged across sweet, spicy, salty and savory. Delicious. How often does a meal just make you stupidly happy? Well, Smoke and Fire did that for both of us. Wanted to go back to eat my way through the menu, but I was just home visiting from the east coast. I can guarantee you that this restaurant will be my first stop whenever Im back in my hometown. I love that there was a vegan option, as my wife chose that path. I texted her the menu page and her reply was that it looked delicious. The Texas toast was soft and the brisket was nice and tender. A bit messy but thats to be expected. Ive had better Mac and cheese but its passable. The waffle fries were really good. Tastes just like jack in the box curly fries but waffle shaped. They were a little too crispy but still delicious nonetheless. Its on the pricier end of meal prices but it wasnt terrible. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

The cashier Jackie was great but honestly when youve been at work all day the last thing you want is old cold food I got the big Texan and my partner got the brisket tacos, it took a long time to get the food and when it did come everything was cold the potato skin was so old and tough the plastic cutlery they provided couldnt cut it, the brisket tacos were very dry and the blue corn Tortillas they used were undercooked, they also gave us a free pretzel which was good but I wouldnt buy one in the future. Overall with tip everything came out to over $86 Im sure if the food wasnt old and cold it wouldve been good, $86 is expensive for the quality of the food

I want to start off by saying that the girl that was working on the register as well as the kitchen provided excellent service, she deserves a raise. As for the food, it did end up a little pricier than I thought it would be. The quality however was pretty good. The Reinas mac & creamy was good and sure had that good tasty creamy satisfaction we look for. The street corn was pretty good as well, not sure if it had cheese but still liked it regardless. Also tried the Big Texan potato, its a monstrosity with a decent amount of brisket. The buttermilk ranch and bbq sauce give it that extra kick and those onions give it that additional crisp. The smoked black lemonade had a slightly strange taste but obviously its the smoke taste which is still good. The place is in a nice area and the restaurant itself is pretty tidy. Will definitely go again but maybe not eat as much, I got so stuffed too quick.

Came to visit a friend who lives in the area and he found this place off a tik tok and it did not disappoint! I ordered the brisket fries and it’s the perfect combination of Smokey and barbecue-y. The service was extremely fast and the food still tasted fresh. Eric was even kind enough to give us a free pretzel since we mentioned it was our first time. When me and my husband arrived there was a long line but it went by real fast! When we ordered we wanted the brisket but they just sold out of it. The cashier girl was so kind she gave us 2 sides for free! The Customer service was so amazing and the food came out so quick for the amount of people there. We had the smash burgers, the smoked brisket, the waffle fries and the Mac and cheese. The burgers were excellent, think shake shack, and the the b and b pickles blended well with the burger bun. They also had my fav draft beer mango cart. We ate on the convienent patio next to Northgate. I am from the South, so I am a little biased, so I would rate the Mac and cheese and brisket a four out five. All in all, a fantastic addition to the neighborhood and I will be a regular! What pulled me to Smoke and Fire was a social media video clip of the prime rib burrito with Mac and cheese. It tasted just as good as I could imagine in the video. We had a group of 8 and we dined in their outdoors area which felt and looked great with the lights and later that night had live music. Our whole group was very satisfied with how everything tasted great.What astounded us was not only the food, it was the service. Every single person we came across or checked on us at our table was courteous. So normally have an amazing experience here until tonight I couldn’t believe how the general manager represented this establishment! I was denied service because they said they did not have change for 100 on a 50 dollar bill! After driving 30 minutes with gas prices the way they are I felt like calling to figure out why this place with 60 customers doesn’t have change, then I was told my money was fake! When I asked to speak to the manager I was greeted with disrespect and rudeness I have never seen at a fast food place, then with that attitude I didn’t want to speak with her so I asked for the next one up, and the general manager not only had the same energy she was making fun of the Situation so I asked to speak to corporate and she gives me a fake number. I always love coming here. Only downside is if it gets busy, seats are hard to find but usually not too bad most of the time. I’ve been here a couple of time and every time I’m blown away by the food and the staff. So far I’ve had the Nashville Hot Chicken and the Texas Beef Brisket Grilled Cheese. Both have been worth the money and have been really filling. I love the flavors in both sandwiches. We’ve also tried the brisket fries and my wife has had the Rudy’s Vegan Stacked Sando. Bottom line, everything we’ve had had been delicious and they have a great beer selection !Right now they have outdoor dining available and the tables are pretty spaced out.
