A great place to do your shopping on Palm Canyon drive, with plenty & convenient parking.
Ace Hardware is very generous to allow the PrimeTimers of the Desert to use parking lot for picking up and dropping off passengers for various trips.
Shopped at Ace Hardware for some pool paint but no luck. Didnt have the color we were looking for. But we did buy a new chlorine floater. I could spend my entire monthly income there! I (we) just love all the great things that they sell there.
The entire thing needs renovation. Its dirty. The building.. parking lot.. everything.Please clean it up.
There are a nice variety of shops and restaurants in this plaza. The employees at Ralphs are kind and helpful.The workers at Ace though are overbearing and it detracts from the shopping experience. They are on you from the moment you walk in the door. P07p you uhl the p I would suggest shopping elsewhere if you are seeking a shopping experience where you casually browse the inventory. They have a more than ample number of staff and it creates an environment of pressure to get in and get out ASAP. Every experience there has left me feeling like they are suspicious that I am stealing from them.
I went to Giuseppes Italian restaurant. Oh my gosh.. their Italian lemon chicken..it was so wonderful battery flavor veggies. I definitely would love to come back there again. Im telling you this is so popular place to have dinner.

Parking needs to be updated. It is dangerous to go in and out and parking. It was designed for a smaller clientele. It needs to be designed so pedestrians can be seen when parking and also navigating in and out of area.
Visited Native Food, food was excellent (new owners) so we happy to support them! Sadly the landlord of the mall area needs to clean things up as the area is feeling very tired…which it has been long before Covid. These businesses and they are great ones need to get on the landlord with expectations of cleaning things up!
A great shopping center with Pet Smart, TJ Max, Jensens grocery store, a Walgreens, and World Market, amongst other stores and services.Restaurants include McDonalds, Chipotle, a sub shop, and an ice cream store.One of our favorite shopping centers in our neighborhood!Plenty of free parking, too.
Great shopping center. A bit overran by bums but can’t do anything about it. Plenty of places to choose from to eat and the Ralph’s here is always stocked up on the usual grocery stuff. Pavement needs some attention. A lot of the little roads in there are very run down and could use some renovation.
First time coming to this restaurant. The staff is very polite and quick. I ordered the half rack ribs with macaroni and cheese with onion rings and the ribs were so delicious the meat was falling off the bone. The Mac & cheese was cooked just right not too cheesy. The onion rings were just right, very crispy. My son got the sliders where very delicious the meat was very tender and still juicy. Everything was excellent. Next time I will be coming to Palm Springs Ill be sure to stop here again. Job well done thank you guys.
Food was excellent, as was the cocktail. The only reason its a 4 rating instead of 5 is they were out of brisket. Which, going by the burnt ends appetizer we got, is a shame as the ends were very tasty.
Smoke Tree village has a good range of restaurants and shops including Ralphs, ACE Hardware, UPS/FedEx mail center, post office, gas station, banks etc. Very convenient place to shop and to access as well.
Cozy village mall of small business shops, restaurants. Shared clean unisex bathrooms, indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking. Went there to eat at 100% vegan NATIVE FOODS in its original location, in Palm Springs. Excellent food, great service, affordable pricing. Eat in or take out.
A wonderful little jewel, amongst the tourists and traffic of Hwy 111. From groceries, to mail, to pedicure, to gifts, to dining and drinking, or even a new Do, theres plenty to keep you coming back. Every business I have visited, has been top notch. Whatever you need, look here first. You wont regret it.
I only visited the ACE hardware store. It the best hardware store in town with floor personnel that knows what it is doing. All are very helpful and most of the time correct in their recommendations. If I have a problem fixing something at home, Ill go there for advice.
A friend and I came here after work for dinner. Prices arent too bad, and the food is awesome. I got a baby back full rack, and they were perfect; falling off the bone. My friend got a burger, and it was perfectly cooked.Their BBQ sauces were only ok, though. They could really use to step up their game in this department. The spicy sauces were just variations of their others, and they were far too sweet. The mustard sauce was, again, too sweet, but at least it stood out in flavor. With so many culinary options available, this sauce selection highlights a squandered opportunity.

Nice local strip mall with the standard shops plus a few cool ones. It includes a cupcake store, a yummy vegan restaurant, a great burger place, a teriyaki takeout joint, decent grocery, and an excellent Ace Hardware. Im here every week for something.
I love shopping here. Tj max is so clean and organized. Never any lines and staff is so friendly. Easy parking and always cold A/C in every store. Lots of food choices and a Jensen market with a great bakery.
This is the greatest little shopping center! It has that Palm Springs Village feel that I love so much. And something for everyone! Hardware, Grocery store, Post Office, shops and restaurants for every one. And Giuseppes has the best happy hour! This is my neighborhood, I love living here!
We visited Ralphs the other day on the second day of our vacation and bought allot of groceries! We realized two days later I had left a bag of groceries there. About $20 worth of groceries. I told my family I was at least going to go back and talk to customer service and see if they could do anything. They said, no way they wont. I went back with the items marked in my receipt and talked to Larry the store manager. Without hesitation, he told me to go get the items I forgot and to have the cashier page him when I was done. When I checked out they simple bagged up my groceries I forgot! This act of kindness by Larry with never be forgotten. We will be back to Ralphs again next year guaranteed when we come back for spring break!!

Palm Springers know this is a fine shopping center with great parking, fabulous stores like Ace Hardware and a multitude of other specialty stores. Would be a great place to remodel a defunct bank building and locate a tastefully designed In and Out Burger facility desperately needed buy the whole permanent community and tourists alike.
Mc Donalds always has cars blocking the right of way, because of the drive thu. Jersey Mikes all the staff dont know how to wear a mask properly. I am surprised that the Health Department has not shut them down. Walgreens Pharmacy is horrible and clueless. Petco is well staffed and friendly. Love there grooming Department is outstanding. Jensens is over priced and makes horrible sandwiches. Big5 is tucked in the far corner, staff are friendly and helpful. I miss the old location downtown Palm Springs.
Smoke Tree Village is made up of over 50 small shops and also includes a United States post office or Ralphs grocery store True Value Hardware and many places to eat. It depends on what youre going to but the center does have a lot of good options and choices for food and business. In the last couple of years the True Value Hardware became Ace and the Ralphs has been remodeled and it is a Ralphs fresh fare which is kind of a step above has a lot more in the way of deli and bakery items and a lot of those things it has a very extensive wine department who actually has a person it oversees the wine. I still enjoy shopping there but I dont go as often as I used to.
Beyond the unhoused there are friendly employees at the Ralphs and Ace hardware stores
Lots of useful stores in this plaza from hardware to mail centers to dry cleaners to eating establishments and a grocery. The parking lot can get pretty crazy so be careful.
Very good BBQ. Wish they had more scratch sides - like fries and onion rings - instead of frozen fried food. As good as the BBQ was, I probably wouldnt go back due to the side options where the quality was lacking.
Decent place for restaurants, bar and grill, groceries, hardware and other shopping needs, convenient location and plenty to do. Just beware of the drivers arriving and departing because they can use a crash course in driving lessons.
Attitude prevails in this smallish shopping center. Customers and workers have such a creepy attitude in just about all the stores (specially at Ralphs the anchor store) there are several restaurants some of them are good but, all of them are extremely over price. The Thai restaurant its my favorite. The Hamburger place, the organic and Italian restaurants are VERY POPULAR. Again, be prepare for super overpriced menus. $15 to 20 hamburgers and $30 to $40 pizzas.
Giuseppe without a doubt is a must go to eat place in Palm Springs. Take out is also good. This place is a popular spot with a full bar and usually a game on the teller.So be ready for a wait. This is a 1960 ish strip mall so parking is always a mixed bag. Worth It!
The only mall to consider when in Palm Springs. It has expanded much over the years, and is now impressive, with many shops and a great food court. It is well-maintained and a pleasure to visit!
Love this little shopping area. They have a good burger joint there called Smoking Burger. ACE hardware is there too, and a Ralths. Also a 76 gas station for gas.
You have to check out the Ralphs Fresh Fare rare cheezes and fresh olive bar! The best selection in all of Palm Springs. They also have FRESH sushi and hot chinese salads made onsite for take-out and they are delicious. But hurry while selection is good. They tend to sell out by 6PM.
Great variety of shops from hardware stores to groceries and a deli, GNC Nutritional stores, a BBQ restaurant, Vegan Restaurant, a barber, you can make a whole day of it honestly and beautiful hiking trails to take off on before or after lunch all right there.
We went to the Ralphs market here. Oh my God. The cheese. And the deli meats are amazing too. A real improvement by their Kroger corporate parent.
I work at the Michaels here. Theres a McDonalds and other fast food, a Walgreens, Wells Fargo Bank, a PetSmart, and a couple other stores on the Smoke Tree Commons side. A hardware store, Ralphs grocery, a gas station, another bank and a bunch of other small businesses across the street at Smoke Tree Plaza. Everything I need, business-wise, I can find here.It gets busy around lunch time, but never too crazy. They even have a recycling place behind Ralphs thats open 9 to 4:30, and the employees are really nice.
Smoke Tree that is so cool you get to see what the the guy with the dog on the trailer the skateboard dog I believe his dog was in the parades out here his other one that passed away God Rest her soul I love seeing that skateboard dog up there that is so cool please let me know when you go up there if you think its a very good time everybody so nice even thou now nowy in the McDonalds
Shopped the last 7 years at the Ralphs and used many of the other business too. Stopped going due to the problem with homeless population and being harassed by people begging for money. The city over the years has pushed the problem to the south part of Palm Springs while other shopping centers with Alberstsons and Stater bros are clean and safe especially in the evening when it seem to be worse.
The parking lot can be a bit dangerous here. Some people do not watch for pedestrians. They dont necessarily give pedestrians the right of way even if they see you! Be careful, use crosswalks where they are available.

Smoke Tree was probably a busy shopping area pre covid-19. There are a lot of closed and vacant storefronts now and no sign of reopening in the near future. The stores that remain open are worth stopping for and also a good way to support local business.
A great community center. A handful plus of good restaurants and eateries that run the gamut from sit down to take out. A full service grocer, hardware store and gas station are the anchors. A mini post office (a real one) and other stores (cards/gifts, laundry, yogurt) make this a one stop convenient stop for the necessities and more.
Smoke Tree BBQ was disgusting! The menus smelled like urine, as well as the table. The use of a soiled rag must be the reason why everything wiped smelled this bad. We couldnt stay to eat and walked out.
The plaza had a little bit of everything. Major grocer, hardware, post office, shipping center, real estate, interior design, souvenirs, and plenty of dining option. Meat Eaters, Vegetarians, Vegans, Dessertarians (its a thing, Google it). Chinese, American, Italian, Thai, BBQ and the obligatory, but always necessity, Subway. On the street side a bank and gas station/repair shop. Its a one-stop-shop for the essentials.
Smoke Tree - Giuseppes is the place to go for good salads, Great Chicago pizzas, Italian food, Italian desserts. They have a full bar. Happy hour until 6pm. Great menu, my favorites are: Chicken piccata, crab salad, antipasto salad, oh and the bruschetta is amazing.

I live across the street. One of the nicest shopping centers, has a lot of everything. So many banks plenty of food shopping drug stores. Everything you could possibly need. And a good pet store as well
Teriyaki yogi is the spot for lunch, bbq place is really good, pizza place is great for dinner date with the wife and smoking burgers is really good, and native foods is a tasty vegetarian type place. No complaints here.

I am an Uber driver and I just dropped some riders off at Ralphs. I often use restrooms at fast food for convenience without any incidents. In fact McDonalds encourages drivers to stop and gives us free coffee or soft drinks for a break. So I go into Subway and the door is locked to the restroom. I go to the counter to ask if a key was neccessary or are the restrooms occupied if locked, I was rudely told that the restrooms are for customers use only. She also informed me to use the public restrooms provided in the center of the shopping center. Manager told me that I would also need a key from any business in the shopping center to access the so called public restrooms I am 68 year old Hispanic man and have a weak bladder and take every opportunity to use an available restroom. Subway, in light of what just happened at Starbucks you really want to go there? Shall I call the local newspaper or T V station and let them know of your antiquated policy. I have $100. worth of gift cards and wont be using any at this store.
You get fried chicken at 12 in the morning vegan sandwiches vegan soups vegan yogurt vegan everything and they got regular food over there they have wine they have liquor and they do have deals

Love the shops and our little neighborhood post office and we have very good big stores here from clothes to groceries fast food and even a pet store !! But too many homeless hanging around here!! Its sad😪

Smoke Tree and Smoke Tree village are 2 shopping areas that separated by a road that come off a main street. Between the two areas there is almost anything you could want or need .They have the best hardware store in the desert with employee that know what they are doing. True Value is like a small home town store but with a lot of up scale and mid century goodies to help the resident of the area. There are 2 markets and sport store and fast food and a wonderful hair salon . There is beauty supply and card store and many many restaurants. There is a pet store and TJ Maxx and World Market. Michaels if you are into crafts and Walgreens for things you always need. To top it of there is a Cold Stone Creamery to pick you up so you can shop some more !!

Native foods café is by far my favorite place to eat! Everytime I go the food is delicious and I try to get something different. Plus Wednesday is buy one entree get one free!
This little shopping center isnt so little, it has everything. I find myself going here more and more the people over at Ace hardware are super helpful and friendly, if you havent tried teriyaki yogi you dont know what youre missing!!!
One of the nicest super markets Ive ever been in. It was late when I went in, but from what I saw the staff did a super job on keeping the shopping floor clean !

In Tru Value, we felt very rushed and under suspicion... Salesman were TOO attentive!! I dont believe, they were being genuine... We felt that we were, being profiled, by mostly all of the associates.

There is nothing noteworthy of this small collection of local businesses but it remains as a solid, convenient and useful shopping area that has not succumbed to the invasion of the cookie cutter big-box shopping mall.

This plaza has Teriyaki Yogi and thats delicious and lots of hot guys eat there..also a very nice Ralphs, gas station, various restaurants and a hardware store.

2024-06-25 09:15:04Keysor, they’re like ace provide top-notch care and service and attention to all customers . They are a little pricey when compared to Home Depot, however, is worth it . Believe me when I say that the service and attention to whatever your problem is outweighs the dollar or two you might save by going to Home Depot or something instead.
