I had always wanted to go to Smorgasburg in New York and still havent gotten the opportunity. When visiting LA, we decided to walk here from Little Tokyo about a mile or two away. Its a pretty cool place with security guards at all the entrances and a parking garage thats very convenient. Be prepared to wait in lines for all of the good food - but the waits were not outrageous. There is definitely a lack of seating. I cant remember the name of the stall I stopped at for food, but they were very nice people from both Cambodia and the Philippines. They offered great beef skewers and corn on the cob with a variety of flavors. There are so many food and drink options to choose from. I do not suggest walking here from anywhere if you are not a local, as the venue is in the middle of quite a questionable neighborhood.

Enjoy this DTLA open air market. Parking right off Alameda in a huge clean parking garage was free and convenient. Lots of food options BBQ, Creole, Korean cuisine, Mexican, Seafood Vegan and plant based options. Merchandise, clothing, artwork and good music flowing throughout the venue. I forgot my wallet but thankfully I was able to use my Apple Pay. Uber Eats is available to scan in a couple of spots to order and pickup at their canopy so you don’t have to wait in line. Open every Sunday only. It’s Free entry.

Been here multiple times and can say every time is a great experience. The vibe and atmosphere are great. So many food options and of course gotta mention the neer garden. Only thing missing is a place serving cocktails!

A little hipster place for a coffee, shopping and dinning. A good place for a little walk and take your date out. And they are dog friendly.

A lot less crowded nowadays. It’s a nice area to walk around and grab some drinks / dessert / finger food. They don’t allow dogs inside though so we just did a quick walk through and didn’t wait in any of the lines for the food.

Had to make a stop here while we were in LA. All of the different types of food were so interesting and great. Even saw Anthony Anderson with a film crew following him around while we were there. It gets very busy so its best to get there right at 10.

Smorgasburg in Downtown LA is a food lovers paradise! The diverse selection of cuisines, from mouthwatering Filipino BBQ to delightful spam musubi and even scrumptious lobster, makes every visit a culinary adventure. The fact that it opens exclusively on Sundays adds an exciting element to the weekend, and its no surprise that the place gets packed quickly. Despite the crowd, the incredible food options make it all worth it.The only downside is the limited outdoor seating, but the vibrant atmosphere and the chance to indulge in so many delectable dishes more than make up for it.A helpful tip: the free two-hour parking across the street is a bonus, making it convenient for patrons to enjoy their food without the worry of finding parking.Overall, Smorgasburg in Downtown LA is a foodies dream come true, and I cant wait to return for another delightful Sunday feast!

I love this event. I’ll try to piggy back this one after a hike in the Angeles National Forest since I know I want to eat afterward and it’s not a far drive downtown. They have signs that direct you to the parking structure where you get 2 hours free. I often go solo but it’s better to go with others so you can try many different things amongst yourselves. Although I’m not vegan, they have a lot of vegan options that taste good. I’ve had many things here and haven’t had anything I didn’t like! I forget the name but definitely try the pibil nachos from this pink stand and get the super bloom drink at Offshore. Get anything, all of it is good.

Pretty expansive outdoor food market with lots of options. On our visit 90% full with various vendors, food and merchandise. Prices are high but reasonable compared to other food markets like 626 mini market. Also this event has a lot of places to sit and eat with and without shade. Plenty of parking as you park at the Row dtla facility (first 2 hours free) and walk to the market. Definitely recommended for a great weekend activity in downtown .

Great selection of food and desserts choices. Nice ambiance and good music. Pleasant place to hang out, eat, and people watch. Be patient with food service.
