Society Eatery and Lounge in Burlingame

Lovely hookah lounge. It almost felt like a feminine vibe here, but not too much. I like it. I was looking for hookah lounges but all I found in SF were a bit cramped, dark, and dirty and not my thing. So happy I found this place which checks the box of what I was looking for: bright, clean, spacious, and excellent food and service.The food we ordered were good, as well as their wines. I’m not a smoker, so I can’t tell if the hookah is good or not, but my party liked it.Our server, Ayaz(?) was very professional and friendly. I’ll definitely go back, on a special occasion that is. It’s a bit pricey but worth it as well as the 30 min drive from SF.

This place is really great, especially the atmosphere and the service. The food is good but with a somewhat hefty price tag. I also feel like the pizza is a bit skimpy on the sauce and toppings. The drinks are really good though, considering they are wine based cocktails. Havent tried the hooka, but its great to be able to go out somewhere fun late at night, as not many other places are open late in this area.

A very beautiful lounge and restaurant. You’ll love the atmosphere. There is a cocktail menu and good selection of wine. The hookah is nice quality and you can select either your own mix of shisha or one of their flavour combinations. I enjoyed the Butterfly shisha mix. From their food menu, I enjoyed the waffle fries, burrata, and pizzas. All of the food is served fresh and excellent quality. I’m a fan of the dough they make here. Espresso is good too.

The lounge design should win the best design among all the hookah lounges in the bay, very clean, neat and relaxing, the background music is the best also not super loud not too low it’s amazing honestly. The service is 5 stars all the GUYS are welcoming friendly polite and super helpful, the food presentation is great as well. The main thing is the hookah that one is good too!Now this is our every weekend to go place in the bay! Really wish you the best and hope to keep it the same vibe!

We came here with some friends and we had a great time! I would say the best thing was the hookah, it was very smooth and great presentation.We ordered quite a few things but my favorite was the burrata and spreads. The pizza wasn’t very good but service was amazing.

It is a great place with very great and quiet vibes.The management and the staff are very friendly, the service is great. I honestly cant find anything negative to mention.The food and the hookah were flawless, I recommend the Chicken Pesto Pizza, The mezza Plate, and butterfly Hookah

Great soft opening, we are fans of Mykonos in downtown Burlingame, and this is a welcomed new addition on Broadway. The food and hookah was great. They are still figuring some small things, but overall I know I’ll be here often.

Stopped by to have lunch with a friend and we were delighted. All the food we had was very flavorful and tasty. The place is really cute and the service was espectacular! Will be recommending this place to friends.

Service was lovely, and the food was a delight. It looked a little pretentious from the outside, but I didnt feel that way during service. We did not smoke hookah but it looked like the setups were pretty cool. This is the only place in the area that has food after 11:00 p.m.

The shaslik and cheesecake were hands-down some of the best Ive ever tasted! The shaslik was cooked to perfection on the grill, and the flavor was so unique and well-balanced. The vegetables and herbs certainly contributed to the delicious flavors that the shaslik offered. The cheesecake was creamy and luxurious, with a subtle hints of citrus. Every bite tasted heavenly and was the perfect way to end our dinner. Highly recommended!
