12:11 pm Fri 20 Oct. Was busy with lunch crowd, cashier gave me heads up it would take 15 min for my order. $16 for #4 (sandwich+fries or salad+fountain drink) +$1 upcharge for lamb. Sandwich was big+delicious, also good fries and i was happy the self-serve fountain had Coke Zero. Will def return.

This place is amazing and you definitely will not disappoint. From the Bosnian Burger to pizza and everything in-between. Found this place by chance and its now one of our favorites. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and extremely patient if you are new Bosnian cuisine. I recently learned everything is Halal. Try a Burger and youll probably never go to in-n-out again.

Hamburger Heaven Disguised as a Pizza restaurant! Amazing food to get something so good yet so different. Pizza is phenominal. Surprise to me that the burgers are delicious nothing i found before like this. Recipes must have been passed down from the old country. When I thought why I didnt come until now, I regretted it. Many of my friends recommended this place to me and I was curious. A small and cozy place. Everything I ate was delicious. We had Menu 1 and 5, all of them were fresh and delicious.. Meatballs and Fita Bread were the best Ive ever eaten.. I definitely recommend it.

Sofra Urbana is the best place to get the real, original cevapi (Bosnian beef kebabs) and pljeskavica (Bosnian beef burger) in Southern California, including Los Angeles area. This is the specific reason why I often find myself driving all the way from LA to Fountain Valley - it is indeed worth every mile and every second of my time. The owner, Ervin, is an amazing hard-working guy who has brought the original receipee from Bosnia to California - he is making everything from the scratch, old-school style, including meat, somun-bread, pitas/burekas, and pizzas. The service is great, and the staff is very polite and accommodating. I encourage all my American friends to read more about this place and the food being served there, and go visit when you can - especially the Balkan people, they all crave and need these flavors, Im sure. Thank you for all your work, guys, looking forward to it every time!

When I moved NY I worked a hotel that was ran mainly by Eastern European New Yorkers. I had Albanian, Montenegrin, Croatian, Bosnian, Polish, and Ukrainian colleagues (to name a few). Lunch time was always fun because I would be introduced to all sorts of amazing ethnic foods I’d never seen or heard of. And while I’ve never been able to visit any of these wonderful countries, through my coworkers I was able to taste a tiny bit of their culture.Now that I’m back home in California, I find myself constantly searching for the dishes that remind me of my “other” home. I was so delighted to find this place and see see “Bosnian Entrees” on the menu. Cevapi and Burek are not easy to come by in Orange County.If I could I would have ordered a bit of everything but being that I was alone I could only order the small Cevapi. Even then, I struggles to finish everything because it was very hearty. The meat was moist and juicy and flavorful. The bread was crispy outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.I definitely will return to try their burek in the future. For now, my cravings are definitely met.Oh and the service was also great! The gentleman who assisted me was very patient and personable.

Great food. Absolutely love the coffee. This is a small/casual place but they go the extra mile to make the meal an experience. You order at the counter and they will ask if you want the coffee with your meal or after your meal. This is uncommon (and appreciated) when you are ordering at a counter and not at the table with a waiter. They will serve you courses instead of just dropping the food off as it is ready. The staff is amazing, friendly and attentive. The food is tasty! They have Bosnian items that make this place a must go to for me. From the coffee experiance, to the little moist perfectly cooked and seasoned sausages, and the delicious pizzas, this place is one of my favorites and a weekly haunt for me.

Just brought my family in because Ive never tried Bosnian food before. It was delicious! We tried several dishes, and they were all tasty and hearty. I definitely enjoyed the stuffed peppers and the cevapi sandwich. My toddler loved his burek with cheese. The gentleman who helped us order was very kind and took his time explaining the various dishes. This is a restaurant my family will enjoy adding into our regular rotation.

Cevapi (chevapi) was absolutely delicious. The lamb/beef were juicy and full of flavor, the bread was incredible and the tomato sauce and feta cheese spread balanced the cevapi perfectly. The service was friendly and personable and this place has just the right amount of whole in the wall vibe that I like a lot. Will definitely be returning 👍👍👍.Update: Still great. Cevapis are awesome. Next day I tried the pizza with dried beef as well and that one is great,too. Their sutliya topped with cinnamon and nuts is delicious. Lastly their baklava is just like home made ones. Try desserts with either tea or coffee. Strongly recommended.

This is a nice little restaurant that serves individual pizzas and larger sized pizzas and a lot of other mediterranean delights. Im terribly sad living so far from sofra Urbana! Were from Washington state and this was our first time here, my husband and I have been to Croatia twice and fell madly in love with the Balkan food while there, and constantly crave it. So happy to have found this place while on vacation! The food was all excellent, I had family with me that have never experienced Balkan food and were thoroughly impressed! The Cevapi was amazing as was the bread and the dips! Kajmek was a favorite! My mom got the pizza and said it was excellent. It reminded us of all the small pekas while in Croatia!Thank you for such a wonderful experience. When we come back to Southern California we will be be sure to come back.

Fast food/pizza place. Went and had lunch with family. It was really fresh and tasty. Great service. Limited seating. Great choice for carry out. Personal size / small pizza is perfect with a salad. They happily brought our food the table and cleared away dishes. Its located in a strip mall so parking is free. However how close you get will depend on the day and time.

I’m from NYC originally and grew up in Brooklyn Pizzas....I was visiting some friends and was in the mood for pizza. Saw the good reviews and figured we’d try this place out. Wow! Delicious delicious pizza! Perfect portion of cheese, thin crust perfection—the sauce is on point and wonderful. I wish I lived near the area bc I even loved the staff when I came to buy the pizza. The food is delicious and the fact knowing how lucky we are to have this place around. Usually for this quality you have to travel to Europe, but somehow we actually have one here. Absolutely amazing Boznian food, good portions, reasonably priced.Honestly, the food blew my party away, including two Serbians who swore the Cevapi and Pljeskavica were better than in Belgrade.My one gripe is that they lead with a more banal pizzeria vibe, maybe to pay the bills :) For example, the menu lists “Burger instead of Pljeskavica. If I was not looking for it, I would not have found the best Mediteran food in L.A.

Immediately upon walking into this restaurant, you will find modern decor, friendly staff, and amazing food. There is a traditional bosnian menu, that is delicious and very authentic. For those feeling less adventurous, they also have an extensive pizza menu. My personal favorite is the barbeque chicken pizza but they have so many other options to choose from. Although anything you chose will be undeniably satisfying. Go check it out!

Their chevapi is good. Has light airy interior kinda like foccia bread but with bigger rounder shape filled with beef kebabs & onions. Roasted pepper condiment is a good addition. Stuffed peppers are good also with a side of chevpi bread. Balken pizza has nice meaty toppings. Berkas are like Greek spanikopita but I like the softer texture & variety of fillings.

Highly disappointed with this place. We got a buffalo chicken pizza. Rather it turned out to be a thin crust flat bread with tons of buffalo sauce n literally five or six small pieces of chicken scattered around. It was supposedly a large pizza. If youre looking for authentic Balkan food look no further. If youre looking for a great pizza look no further. Being raised in the Croatian culture I grew up eating ćevapi and burek and have eaten them thousands of times and I have to say that these are very high up on the list. Ive had all of the bureks here and they are amazing but not quite as good as my moms (love you Mom). If you want a big one ask for family style only the small sizes are on the menu. The trick for ćevapi is to have them juicy and they nail it here. The Sofra burger is the same meat and with the same condiments (ajvar and kajmak). They also have some Balkan soft drinks if youre in the mood. Overall, this little hole-in-the-wall offers some high quality Balkan food and pizzas. Im so happy its close to my house, keep up the good work

The Food is great, the employees are wonderful, but the Boss/Manager, he seems to be a very rude person, I went in a few times and I actually heard how he talks to his employees, I felt sorry for them, they were working so hard and he just be little them and it was not very professional. Because of that, I only go in to get pizza when he does not work, at one point, I almost chose to not go anymore, which I am still thinking about, but I did inform friends, family, and other business people I deal with, as a warning, if you want good pizza, you might have go at a time when the Boss/Manager is not there, he is not a approachable person and when you are enter a business you should be able to approach anyone. I pray for the employees, he is lucky to have them and hopefully in time his attitude will get better. I am a business owner and you have to treat your people fair and good, you treat them bad and you wont have employees or a company. You treat them good and work with them, they will work hard for you, he is young and it seems like this is his first job or in a position that he has control, has a lot of growing up to do. I gave a big thank you to his employees that day and every time I have been in, they work very hard and its sad to see that, keep up the great pizza and hopefully things will get better for all of you.

I used to go to LA to just eat cevvabi meatball but after new tiny-cute well designed store opened in Fountain valley, I decided to go to this place and I must say it is BOMB!! The cheese, spinach borek is always became my starter then I order one medium chopska salad which is like greek,turkish,persian salad and one large cevvabi which comes 10 pieces meatball.I am Very confident that they are using a high quality meat !!
