Roaches. Once a nice high-end luxury hotel, Solage now gives experience of a place that cut too many corners on cleanliness and staff training. Roaches in both rooms and the inside restaurant bar. Staff was indifferent to them.
Quietly luxurious- well designed and appointed rooms, well equipped meeting spaces, excellent dining and entertainment options. A beautiful stay overall- highly recommended.
Currently here at Solage on a Saturday. Unfortunately, this resort is not the peaceful retreat it once was. The pool was so crowded, they didnt have enough chairs for the arriving guests. At more than 1k a night that is just ridiculous. In addition there were a TON of kids....everywhere...running, screaming and jumping into the pool. They took over the hot tub. So I guess you can now call this a family oriented hotel. If you are looking for a romantic, peaceful experience this is not it. Its sad. There are very few places left for just adults here in WINE country. Goodbye Solage.
This is the perfect place to get away from all the stress of daily work in the Bay Area and just relax for a few days. The rooms are clean and spacious, the swimming pools are fantastic, and the whole resort simply looks beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the massages and facials, and the fun ride in the convertible. Bikes are available to get around, and there are a lot of EV charging stations. The food in the restaurant was beautifully prepared and the dining experience was excellent. We can warmly recommend this resort to get away from it all for a bit!

Okay this review is overdue. This place looks like white cottage rooms doesn’t look that special. However, once you check in, you see all these individual cottage rooms, super modern looking layouts with welcoming chocolate with your own butler.Back then you get to borrow their Mercedes during your stay.I have tried their spa services, very amazing.They also do wine tasting at pool area as well. Oh and their food is Michelin. You can also room service that. Kids friendly, pet friendly. Definitely worth it to try once time when you visit Calistoga/ Napa area.
Very nice staff, all of them are super friendly! Our room was amazing, I wish we could have stayed longer.We went to the picobar - this one has Mexican food and Margaritas. The tacos were great and the drinks too.I love this hotel and can totally recommend it!

Unfortunately, I think this hotel is overpriced for what it is. Our promised car did not show up in time to take us to our winery reservation, so we were late. My spa class instructor stood us up. Our room was right next to the road and we could hear traffic all night long. The best part of the place is the food - Outstanding. Will not stay again though.
We went here for our anniversary. The grounds are amazing. Very secluded and quiet. The staff is very attentive and they are everywhere. The room is very well thought out and has high end touches. The common areas are very nice. The pool is great! There are ping pong tables, bocce ball and corn hole for you to enjoy. The restaurant onsite is amazing. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. So why do i only give it 4 stars? The price. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. This hotel is simply not worth $1400 a night. I have stayed in nicer hotels that cost half the price.

You could tell that it was important to the staff that our stay be a one of a kind experience that we would always remember. Our stay was perfect from the start! The little gem garden salad and the halibut and the gnocchi and NY strip steak were great for my companions.The food here is remarkable, notable. I highly recommend it. Our server was attentive, precise, aware and close, but not too close. Perfect service.I would absolutely eat here again and cant wait for the next opportunity! Cheers!
Amazing hospitality and service. Delicious food and excellent cocktail selections. The spa service and spa facilities is bar none. You are able to bring your own wine when you dine just pay a corkage fee which is probably best since the upcharge for wine bottles are pretty hefty. We have stayed both times and have been upgraded (complimentary) rooms upon check in and have been given a complimentary bottle of wine. Pro Tip: If you have AMEX platinum they are part of the fine hotels collection so you get 5x points on purchases and booking as well as other member perks such as free rook upgrade and early/late check-in.

One of the best resort I have stayed in my life! The restaurants in the resort had really good food and upon enquiring, it is helmed by a very talented Mexican executive chef! Even simple dishes are bread and salad was good. Very satisfied and definitely met my expectations and beyond. This place is amazing. We have stayed in other places in Napa Valley but this is the best. Michael was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and truly give us the best experience. This kind of customer service just does not exist anymore. Danielle is also extremely welcoming and friendly! Such a wonderful team at this resort or should I say piece of heaven. We stayed here for one night and after our experience decided to rearrange things to stay again and for more time! Our second vacation here just started and we already can’t wait to return! Thank you again Michael and Danielle! Truly top notch!

We attended a wedding there which was wonderful. The staff was outstanding and the food was delicious. We had a guest with dietary restrictions with us and the staff very attentive to there needs! Everything was just great!!
We loved our stay hear. The rooms are well appointed and tasteful, very cozy, chocolates at turn-down time, and each unit has a nice rustic patio overlooking the woodlands.The pools and spa area are worth the time. The mineral pools are warm so quite nice in the winter. I stayed over the summer months too when they’re not quite as warm but enjoyable. I also did a drop in boot camp while there and it was legit.The bar at Solage is especially good. Spend some time there—craft cocktails are really clever and unique. The restaurant is very good for all meals but make reservations for dinner. There are more than just guests there.

Stupendous! We went with friends for a Easter Brunch - with dogs. We were seated quickly on the patio. The very friendly server brought our choice of water plus bowls for the dogs. We enjoyed our meal and drinks. The beautiful atmosphere and terrific service was very much appreciated. Its pricey, but you are getting a premium experience.

A beautiful setting for a perfect summer dinner outdoors. Food was all incredible, service was impeccable. Somm was very helpful and wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. We enjoyed our meal at a leisurely pace. Looking forward to going back.
Came here to have some brunch and it was fantastic. I had coffee, donut holes, and avocado toast. Presentation was beautiful, sides were awesome. They even make their own hot sauce.and it was high quality. Service was fantastic from all servers and bussers. The only negative part of the experience was them lagging on one persons orders, even after a reminder, but that person had coffee and donuts, so they didnt mind.Tip, donut holes order comes with 7 holes the size of a krispy kreme donut with a no-nut chocolate sauce and a coffee sauce. Worth a try.
We recently stayed for two nights and we really enjoyed ourselves. Incredible SPA and pools. Great room service with the highest quality of food. The Service was always done with a smile. Truly a great experience.
This is a beautiful resort. However, the service has been atrocious. We were staying here for our honeymoon and had a bunch of stuff stolen from our car. Upon notifying the hotel, they let us know that their security cameras were broken during the stay. They initially promised to file a claim under their insurance. After several weeks of following up and not hearing back, I finally got ahold of the director of operations for property who told me that they would not be filing insurance through their property. This is absolutely ridiculous and makes me not want to stay at *any* Auberge property.Beyond the incident, we also had terrible service at the pool. My husband is allergic to all seafood and nuts. When asking if they had non-seafood options at the pool, the waiter didnt make an effort to go ask the kitchen and let us know that they couldnt do it. We suggested he chat with the full kitchen (its about 10 feet away and part of the hotel) and finally got some acceptable options.When staying at a place like this, you expect exceptional service given the price tag. We did not feel like we got exceptional service during our stay.
Beautiful property. Spa area is top notch with the different pools and plunges (cold, magnesium, etc). Food is also delicious. Room service is a bit limited (only one restaurant and limited hours).
AMAZING! Beautiful grounds, very relaxing environment, and the restaurant service is above and beyond. I was driving home at night after all the coffee shops in town were closed and the hostess, manager, and wait staff went out of their way to make me an extra large, delicious latte for the road. Im definitely going back and hope to make a getaway out of it with my hubby as soon as possible.

Cons:-Hour late check in, threw off our winery reservations-wifi didnt work one of the days-hard to find anyone by the pool for service-someone in our group fell by the pool (another person also fell) took an hour just to put up a sign-no parking late night by our cottage dimly lit resort with back gates that open into the public streetsNext time for the money Id stay somewhere there is more attention to guests and actual service.
The renovation to the main pool is enough to make you return to check out this property again. In addition to expanding the deck and adding a bar, they also added a children’s pool in the main area. Previously, the children’s pool was in a separate area making it challenging for people with kids under 10.I would give it five stars…BUT they stopped serving food at the spa. And the rooms are not ideal for families traveling together.Solage is an ideal weekend trip from SF.
Its a beautiful resort and will give you a calming feeling. The wait staff is very attentive. While their menu has many creative dishes, I found my order (fish tacos and the biscuits/gravy) to be very bland. The halibut civiche was quite good.
Solage is truly the happiest place on earth - if I could live there forever, I would. My husband and I spent 4 nights there for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The rooms are top notch - private, updated, clean, and so cozy with the fireplace, soft robes/slippers, and comfy bed. We called for room service a couple times and not only was the food delivered surprisingly quickly, but was also just as delicious as if we were in the restaurant. Speaking of, Solbar is amazing - we had an incredible gnocchi appetizer special that I still think about. We visited the spa a couple times, first for a lovely couples mudslide treatment and the second for massages - absolutely recommend both as well as sticking around to spend some time in the unique pools located there (a bar located at the spa also doesnt hurt!). The main pool area was a dream - kid friendly so can get a little loud at times, but still lovely. The pool attendants were very attentive and kind, the view of the mountains from the pool is incredible, and the bocce ball courts/table tennis/corn hole setups around give excellent activity options! The resort is also in a great location - we walked into downtown Calistoga daily and were able to use the resort bikes to visit a nearby winery. Truly, I could go on and on but more than anything, Id go back to this resort in a heartbeat and will recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area!
This place is by far the most amazing resort Ive ever been to. Their service is impeccable! From the golf carts, bikes, Mercedes and limo accommodations to the bedside chocolates during my dinner, this place could do no better. I am very impressed by the service at the resort, spa and restaurant. The staff is all very professional and show the best side of customer service. I will definitely come back, next time for longer!

The resort was amazing. The room was beautiful and ours came with a private patio and hot tub. The resort itself is full of amenities including the spa and restaurant. The food is not my style, but I am not a sophisticated foodie. If food is your thing, you may love it. Everything from the room to the grounds to the view was beautiful. Cant wait to go back.
Excellent customer service! Ramon is the best server weve ever had. The food was so/so. Great presentation and responsibly sourced just missing something. Maybe just an off day in the kitchen or I just ordered the wrong thing. I will definitely be back to try something new
From the moment we stepped out of the car to check out, our experience was top notch and the service was outstanding. The valet, the pool service, the spa and the restaurant were all outstanding. I got one of my best massages from Elliot at Solage.The food at Sol was fantastic and I love the optional outdoor fresco dining. We really enjoyed the pool and the service at the pool.We met some really nice people during our stay too.Solage is very pricey so be prepared for that. All in all we had a fantastic 9 year anniversary.
Great place to relax. The spa area has 5 different pools with different temperature and minerals. There was also a infrared sauna and a steam room. We spent 2-3 hours there and also got a massage. The food at SolBar was also amazing - would recommend the short rib, octopus and duck breast. The kitchen also accommodated our dairy allergy awesomely. Would definitely come again next time we visit the area.
Here for our Anniversary of our wedding one year ago! They are so accommodating and still seem to remember us. This place is so fantastic. Best massage ever! Excellent food and drinks are so well balanced.
I visited the spa and it was absolutely amazing!!! I had the mud sling and signature massage. We also enjoyed some of the other amenities offered such as the various pools. The service is top notch!!
Perfect location to relax and reflect on personal life or business. Great cottages, beautiful location overall. Nice bar. I could not try the spa (no time!), but the gym is large enough, with enough machines and weights. Ideal place, of course, to visit Napa Valley wineries!
I meet a friend here once a year for lunch on the patio. We bring our Keeshond dogs and spend a couple of hours catching up. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and kind to the dogs. They bring water and treats and never leave the dogs out of their customer service.The food has never disappointed us. Especially the corn chowder and veggie wraps.
Restaurant was delicious and we sat outside near the pool to enjoy the summer weather. Excellent service by the wait staff. After eating, we took a tour of the grounds and were treated respectfully by staff at every turn as they pointed out the suites, geothermal waters, and clothing optional area of the spa. Beautifully designed layout!
Incredible service on all levels. Room service and housekeeping went above and beyond with tiny little touches each day. Organizing the bathroom counter all the way down to winding up my curling iron cord each day, fresh chocolate and restocked complimentary mini bar each day.The restaurant also makes a lot of its menu items that are usually outsourced, in house.The spa locker room and amenities covered everything. You know, from the hair ties and feminine necessities at the ready wash clothes on ice after the steam room. One of the best deep tissue massages Ive ever had.Beautiful time.
This is a review of the restaurant. Unfortunately, much delayed (due to Covid). We regularly visit Calistoga as our best friends live there. Also, we regularly are patrons of this restaurant. After countless meals here I can only say that they are excellent in every way.
Beyond fantastic. Amazing rooms, pool, restaurant, amenities, etc. The staff went above and beyond for us. So welcoming and friendly. We got engaged while in Napa and we will always look back at Solage being one of the highlights. And let’s not forget about the free rental cars: BMWs. Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Thank you for making it more than memorable.
Im posting this a few months after the experience... I met some friends for brunch(delicious!) and considered joining them for their spa day but the way the spa staff treated me was atrocious - I have never before felt so unwelcome. My friends were surprised as well. Would recommend finding another place to go.
The food here was phenomenal I wanted to go back but we had so many places we had planned to go see but next time Im in town Ill definitely be going back.
Fabulous resort with great amenities. The restaurant has a well rounded selection of choices from fresh healthy choices to if you are in the mood for something a little harty, they have that as well. Cocktails are well crafted and creative. The resort also has an impressive selection of Mercedes Benz to choose from.
Grounds are really beautiful, service just okay. Scheduled a package deal with mud wrap and follow on 60 min. massage. Mud wrap was just okay-so so standard service. Music headset was broken and i had to change chairs and rooms. I asked for/requested separate rooms when I made the reservation, but upon arrival, the staff asked again asked if I would share rooms. Really? Not very relaxing....a fine resort would not communicate in this fashion.Massage by Elliott was 5-stars all the way. While I was told before the service began I could adjust the gratuity based on services rendered, that was not the case. In closing out my bill, I was forced to leave a 20% tip for the mud service when I thought 15% was more appropriate. I wanted to leave a bit more for the massage therapist (25%), but could not. So what they post online and what they tell their clients is actually misleading. Forced to tip at 20% even when the service is not up to that level of tip.Also, I ate in their full service restaurant between treatments. But much to my surprise, I could not have my lunch added to my bill. I had to go back to the locker room to retrieve payment, and then go back to finish my lunch. I bit strange, but very inconvenient...so i lowered their overall rating.
Only had lunch here last time. Service was great. The food was good but maybe not quite as good as I remember. Sitting outside on a nice day having lunch... How can you beat that?
We came here for an evening wedding and it was magical. The part of the grounds we experienced was gorgeous and the staff (though Im not sure who was Solage and who was third party) was totally on it. I cant really speak to the price of renting the place but if you can afford it and are considering this location for your next event, this place is perfect for a floral, upscale atmosphere.
We’ve been coming here for many years so this place is dear to our hearts, but the service and quality has gone way down since they were acquired by auberge.The food: don’t be fooled. They do NOT have a Michelin Star. They used to have amazing food but since their chef left the food has gotten much worse. The fact that they serve cheap sushi is embarrassing and if you eat here you’ll understand why they lost that star. They should probably take the Michelin Star off of their website (hint hint)Service: since they were acquired they have become much more corporate and less focused on the well being of the guests. We were shuffled around rooms and tucked in the worst rooms on the premises despite making reservations over 6 month ahead of time. We also did not receive the room types that we booked and were told that we had agreed to a different room type. They had a wedding on the property which required room, and bumped us for the other guests. We got “upgraded” to the outskirts of the property into smaller rooms and “could not be moved”.The rooms: the rooms are quite nice but don’t fall for the “upgrades”. They are just the rooms at the very edge of the property where they stick a fireplace in to make you feel better.The pools and amenities are nice, but price has gone up over the years and they need to tighten up.
We come to this restaurant whenever in Napa valley. Food is always great. We called for reservation and was told we couldnt get a 1 pm, but 1:15 was available. We show up and only a couple of other table s were occupied. That was weird, making it seem like they were so busy, when they were not. We ordered the oysters, crab cocktail, beet salad, impossible burger, wagyu burger. All were delicious! Service from wait staff was impeccable.
Stayed at premium rates over the Labor Day weekend: what I got was a $500 per night experience (when I paid twice that).The good: very helpful staff during a medical emergency (thank you!), great facilities, pleasant studio room.The bad: took house keeping 5 hrs to get something to my room; room service brought extra items that were not requested (but billed for); the concierge directed me to a winery that actually wasnt open that wasted our opportunity to go tasting on Sunday afternoon; a wedding on the Sunday affected the experience for the hotel guests as we were unable to to get to our studio (aka bedroom) as the access road was shut to protect the wedding experience and only late dinner reservations were available to us.In short, the staff, though pleasant, are not accurate in their service; the management should have made us aware of the wedding at the time of booking (which was late) and also how it would materially affect us during our stay.
We received exceptional service from the waitstaff and the food was very good. They had a great wine selection and plenty of wines by the glass. We look forward to coming back and staying as a hotel guest at some point.
My wife and I had to cancel our honeymoon trip due to the pandemic. I was told theyd refund my card. After two months of not seeing the refund I called and was told it was overlooked. Ive heard this is an amazing resort and Im sure it is but Im not happy with their refund process.
Solage is amazing! Our room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning service is the best I have experienced. We enjoyed a mudslide and a massage at the spa as well as a few delicious meals at the restaurant Solbar. The staff everywhere was cheerful and attentive. Our weekend couldnt have been better. Highly recommend!
This place is absolutely amazing. Excellent customer service, excellent accommodations, excellent food, excellent spa services, excellent atmosphere. Run, dont walk to your computer (if youre already there even better) and book your stay now. This place made my birthday memorable. Yes the price is nothing to sneeze at,but Solage is worth every penny.
The spa is am amazing place. I go for the most inexpensive service which is a phenomenal experience and then you can use the facilities all day. Hot springs tubs, sauna, relaxation spots... they have robes, flip flops, toiletries, hair styling tools, spa water and snacks... you dont need to take anything. The restaurant is delicious and expensive, and a few times Ive had terrible service, though not everytime.
This review is for the spa only.When booking I ensured we would be able to use the amenities, both my wife and I together. Unfortunately, the steam room outside of the locker rooms was out of order, they do not have a sauna and because we were not guests staying at the resort we were not allowed to use the fitness center. So the only thing my wife and I could do together was spend time in the multiple pools.Well...after about 5 minutes in the hot bath with jets running my wife noticed something dark floating near me. It floats up to my chest, I pick it up and quickly realize it is a DEAD RAT, about 6-7” long. We jump out and alert the staff. The Area Director of the resort was standing close by, she comes over, actually let’s out a brief laugh and says “unfortunately they’re attracted to the warm water, perhaps you should go to the other side and enjoy one of the those pools”. The other staff apologized and no one ever brought it up again. No one checked on us to ensure we were having a better time AFTER having a DEAD RAT float up onto my chest.When checking out, there was no record of any issues whatsoever. The young lady asked how my visit went and I said great, other than the rat issue. She had no clue and offered no compensation, discount, nothing for the minor inconvenience of a DEAD RAT floating onto my chest. I told her that was unacceptable. After talking with the manager, she comes back with an offer to waive the $40 fee they charge when you are not a guest on weekends. Again, I told her this was unacceptable. Helen, the same Area Director that actually laughed about the DEAD RAT that morning comes to the desk and asks what I think our compensation should be since the $40 discount was not enough. What do I think. Really? Is this how guests should be treated? Honestly I had no idea what to say, so I said $200 which is the price of one of the massages. She agreed to take an additional $200 off our bill.Not once after the initial encounter with the DEAD RAT did anyone come check on us to ensure we were having a better stay. There was no record of any incident. I’m assuming they expected us to leave and be alright paying full price and having no sort of apology given in form of discount etc. This, along with Helen’s blasé attitude, makes our experience at the Spa unfortunate.
We are in the middle of a live-in kitchen/bath remodel. After several weeks of bucket baths and microwaved meals, decided to treat ourselves to great wine and accommodations. We had a great time and the staff were excellent.

Visited the lovely poolside restaurant with three friends, we were celebrating a birthday, we were greeted and seated with a bottle of champagne at our table. Appetizers, four different entrees and two deserts to share. The Special Birthday Desert and a sorbet. The staff was friendly and efficient. The best dining experience in a very long time. Want to return to stay at Solage and dine again at Solbar. Thank you Mr. Richard Hill and staff.
Property is beautiful but had a sketchy, possibly unethical issue with a cancellation. Made a reservation and paid the hold/ deposit for the full room charge. No problem. I had to cancel the reservation, which I did 4 weeks ahead of time (72 hour policy). I received an email confirming the cancellation but was told the charge may not be reversed for up to 30 days. It’s been 2 weeks and The charge hasn’t been reversed. It took them minutes to run my card for the deposit. Not what I would expect from a high end property.
I am a meeting planner and have never had so many issues with a high end resort. One of our guests had a reservation and was packed and moved out of their room because the hotel had a wedding party. Another guest received a massage and was told by the masseuse they were not compatible and stopped the massage. We had issues with A/V, reception set up, rude staff etc.I would almost even recommend staying as a guest because their rooms are great, but if they are going to stop your massage in the middle or throw you out of you room because there is a guest that will pay more I cant.Unfortunately after our second event we would never return.
Sweetness! I was in the dog house for coming up short on my lovely wifes birthday for the last few years, so I booked a weekend here last week. I can say Im back on top. Super cool place, very clean, service was incredible (they may have thought we were Brad and Angelina? :-)), every room has access to two beach cruisers which are great for rolling downtown and hitting some local wine tasting. Spa rocked, get the 80 minute swedish and wow, we ate at Sol bar both nights since we had sipped champagne in our private outdoor hot tub and seemed wise to stay close. Food is way good, chef must be some maestro from SF. Does not get much better than this folks, enjoy.
I was so excited for my stay at Solage. I searched around and found just one property with a diamond rating from AAA, so I just KNEW the service and amenities would be excellent. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a welcome glass of good wine and had a relatively easy check in. Spent my first full day (Sunday) touring a few vineyards, mainly nearby. Quite nice, and a good start.It was certainly variable from there...I was told there would be a concierge who can make me personalized appointments on Monday. When I arrived at his desk, he simply gave me a list and highlighted a few. When I queried about making appointments, he just said You dont need them. WHAT?! Thank goodness for one of the wineries I visited where the Som gave me a short list of his personal friends at other wineries (high end appointments ONLY) for me to visit, where I was welcomed and treated like family! Just because I am a woman traveling alone it doesnt mean I want wine Disneyland.The kicker happened when I came back to my room on my last night after touring. There was a HUGE BUG on my bed. I managed to kill it, but then it was on the bedspread. When I called Housekeeping, a guy came with two blankets, cleaned the bug off the spread, and said Thank you, good-night!Whoa.It wasnt ALL bad. The staff and food at SolBar are amazing! The bartender even set up a personal wine flight for me to start to learn how to taste!Make sure to get the full body scrub with your massage. INCREDIBLE service!Skip the Mudslide... overrated. You put the mud on yourself and lay down, have a quick bath, and then a nap?! Sheesh.All in all, Napa is beautiful, but given the shortcomings of the hotel, will probably try somewhere else next time...
Just stopped in for a couple of cocktails - the patio overlooking the pool was beautifully appointed and the cocktails were perfectly crafted. Were locals, well be back!
Upon check out at 12 pm, my husband and I noticed that our bags were left outside in the front courtyard by the staff. He specifically asked reception for the bags to be placed inside due to the contents. On our return to the front of the hotel at 2:40 pm, I noticed our bags were still outside and unattended. I was able to open my bag and take a change of clothes out. Nobody asked who I was.My husband found three staff members at the front of the property and asked for our bags to be put inside. He went back to reception to make sure our bags were taken inside since we had to rush to our wine tasting. We were promised they would be placed securely inside and assured they were taking care of us.Upon our return to the hotel at 5:40 pm, the first thing I see is our bags still sitting outside on the patio area unattended. I walked into reception to ask to speak to the manager and calmly explained the situation. He responded in the most insincere tone, saying to me Well, what do you want me to do?. The contempt towards my husband and I caused me to have a severe panic attack at the hotel. Solange did not care about the consequences, I was refused a place to sit or water while I was shaking and having trouble breathing. That 4k stay, many spa treatments and precious time were all thrown down the drain.I realized that once Solage Auberge has your money, the friendly facade drops. The hotel does not provide the standard, duty of care that is expected with a luxury resort.
The place was nice but somewhat boring. The landscape was plane the restaurants had very limited menus. The cabins were nice but really spread out.
Soft shell crab poboy was delicious. Chocolate mousse dessert was very good too. Nick our waiter was very attentive and gracious. Lunch under the mulberry trees was cool and lovely on a very hot afternoon.
Went with a group and we all agreed after the food was just meh, far below our expectations. The best thing about the meal was the view. Triple the price of everywhere we ate and 1/3 as good.

We had a wonderful quick stay at Solage for my birthday! Relaxing surrounding area, the cottage was upscale, spacious, and the shower was amazing! The staff attention to detail was spot on as was our breakfast in the morning!
We were visiting from New Jersey for our 15th wedding anniversary. Every bite from the very first to the very last was amazing, the wine selection was fantastic, and the service superior. Would definitely recommend.
My favourite place. Super comfy beds, awesome classes (very challenging) everything is simply gorgeous and luxurious. And the food... superb and super healthy. The spa treatments were amazing. I cannot wait to go back!
Wonderful day-trip experience to Spa Solage! The spa is meticulously kept and the amenities are fabulous. The mineral baths are open until 8pm so that you can swim under the stars. Lunch at Solbar was delicious - loved the menu with both light and heartier dishes. Overall great experience! Cant wait to go back!
Gorgeous venue with a serene garden that is a perfect wedding backdrop. The reception hall has rustic accents like a branch canopy and floor to ceiling windows on the sliding doors (that appear to be soundproof). Nice outdoor lounge space and an upscale bar.
The location is fantastic. One mile from town and many wineries in biking distance. The restaurant on premises (Solbar) 5star!!! The rooms are 2star. They are just old. I spoke with management they said they are slowly remodeling all of the rooms. Unfortunately for my $500 a night my room was from 1990. Not cool. One major problem was the water pressure in the shower (none) I complained that it was so bad I shower in the spa. They said that’s the way it is??? They say they have 4 in house Mercedes for use while I was staying at the hotel (first come basis) they said one was at the body shop the other at the mechanic. So down to 2. The bicycles they have for free use are in need of a upgrade as well. The spa/pool area 4 star. There are 2 mineral water pools, 1 saline pool and a small magnesium plunge pool as well as a cold plunge pool. They now have an infrared sauna and a eucalyptus steam out in the pool area. The large pool under construction! As well as other areas of the resort. I think they are upgrading because the four seasons broke ground across the street and they will be getting competition. The resort was ok. As you can see from my review i had issues and stayed in way better places!
Sol Bar is a fantastic restaurant. I visit here whenever Im in the area. This time it was for the lemon ricotta pancakes and chilequiles on the dog-friendly patio. A perfect brunch.

On this occasion, we just visited the Solbar. We always enjoy the unique cocktails and the fun food menu with well-executed dishes. I also really appreciate their willingness to rework dishes to accommodate my food allergy.
You cannot go wrong with Solage! It is absolutely beautiful! The spa is fabulous, the food and drinks are to die for, and the service is spectacular! If you have a chance to take any of their fitness classes you should jump on it. Their instructors are fantastic and great at getting amazing results!
Amazing facilities including several pristine and tranquil treatment rooms. I went through a treatment regimen of a 50-minute Solage massage (very relaxing) and a mud treatment with an awesome music therapy session at the end.The facilities are set up with the incomparable Napa Valley hills as a backdrop. I was not much of a fan of the clothing-optional steam room, hot tub, and cold water pools, but the body-temperature relaxation pool was a great place to hang out and relax.Staff was extremely helpful and courteous (to be expected), but also very deferential.The bar and restaurant are top notch, with both healthy (salads, fish) and indulgent (fries, burgers) options. Everything came out artfully presented and tasted delicious.
Stayed here for one evening on my 30th birthday trip to Napa/Calistoga/SF. Generally, we have experienced great things at Auberge resorts, but this was a mediocre stay.Firstly, the restaurant, Solbar, was great to excellent for the breakfast we had there. Welcoming, friendly, and warm staff that we greatly enjoyed. Everyone we interfaced with from the hostess to the bus person was kind and helpful. The food was also we cooked/prepared. I throughly enjoyed the smoothie and avocado toast that I had ordered.The spa was mediocre and the staff seemed stretched pretty thin which doesnt necessarily create a relaxing environment for a spa.Generally, I think spa shops have strange things for a 30 y.o. man to buy on his own. But, my mother-in-law bought me some socks from there that I was pleasantly surprised by.The worst part of our stay was an experience with one specific bellman that left us rather uncomfortable, and the accommodations were underwhelming because they did not seem well cared for despite appearing luxurious.Our showers floor was damaged, the bench in the bathroom had a strange, square, and powdery white stain that was off putting. The room seemed clean upon first glance, but the more time you spent in it the less I came to believe that. I cant desThe bellman that escorted us to our room was at first nice. However, when we drove to the room and parked in the handicap spot (my wife has a disability), he tried to lecture us about not being able to park there even though we had brought our placard and it was hanging. Ironically, he tried to lecture us about that WHILE he parked his golf cart in the ADA access aisle, which is also illegal. Luckily my wife does not always require a wheelchair mobility, but if she had the golf cart would have blocked a ramp or a wheelchair trying to get to the sidewalk to the room. I think that revisiting with some employees about ADA regulations would be wise. Other than the glaring misunderstanding of ADA accessibility features, from our perspective, it was a pretty accessible resort for those disabilities.Some things I enjoyed about the rooms were:-The amount of space-The semi-private bungalow feel-The garden just outside the room- The Down free bedding we requested was great!
The location was very good, close to many wineries in the area. Enjoyed the Solbar once we were able to go out on our own to eat. We did not stay there but from just walking around, the location was filled with nice amenities such as the pool and spa.
We stayed only 2 nights as part of a birthday weekend celebration in March. We loved it, borrowed the bikes to go into town, enjoyed the mudslide treatment and the pool in the spa the most. Its not a cheap weekend, but you do feel pampered!
This continues to be the best hotel at which I have ever stayed. The service is exemplary. The perk of being able to borrow a top of the line Mercedes (try the GT!) is incredible. The restaurant is exquisite and the rooms are beautiful.
My review is on their restaurant Solbar. Wow best lobster roll I’ve had in Ca. You practically get a full lobster in a bun. Delicious! it’s a really nice restaurant with a chill resort vibe staff are very nice and friendly. Must try while in Calistoga.
Solage is amazing. I spent the better part of a week here for a business event, and I would love to go back. The physical layout of the hotel is stunning. The climate in that part of Napa Valley is lovely. The food is off the charts good. And the rooms are everything you would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Its rare that you find a luxury spa and get amazing therapists that doesnt just do a lot of fluff! The place is beautiful even though I was there during construction which they told me about so I didnt mind. And both massage and facial were done but very talented people! A must treat if your there.

In these COVID times you want to stay somewhere with privacy, space, and all the amenities you miss from the before times vacations. We let me tell you, solage has it. Each studio is private, accessible from the outside (no long corridors like mega hotels). It’s like luxury adult summer camp where the activities include, relaxing, eating, drinking, hanging by the pool, and getting spa services.The rooms are impeccably designed, spacious and feel like dreams coming true.Highlights:- On-site restaurant: solbar isn’t just a hotel restaurant. It’s it’s own shining star. You gotta go here when you stay. Enjoy the cocktails and whatever seasonal dish they recommend- Mud slides at the spa: solage has their own version of a mud treatment and I’ve never been more relaxed in my entire life than after I do these. Have gone 3 times. Never gets old- plunge pools in the spa area- walking around the grounds or taking bikes to downtown CalistogaI wish I could afford to stay here more! No complaints this place is a gem

Love this place for a long getaway. We go every other christmas for a week and it is a great place to get away. Small bungalows are great place. They have a group of mercedes benz cars for you to drive. The spa is first class all the way! Mud bath is cool the warm spring pools are awesome the champagne by the pool is fantastic. Lots of places to eat in the area and some great small winerys around make this a great destination! From the moment you check in and they hand you a glass of wine to the moment you check out this place does not disappoint!
One of the best restaurants in Napa and better than others from Auberge resorts. I only took a picture with the fruit salat... incredibly good. Then the rest of the food ... dream. Services were top,m and people very friendly. Can wait to return!

The room was nicely appointed with an open bathroom (no doors). Bikes were provided for guests to explore the surroundings. The spa and the pool is probably the best part of the hotel. There are several pools in the resort including one of the biggest pools in the Napa/Sonoma area. On-site restaurant is also excellent.
Just wow. What an experience. Service is impeccable, food is fabulous, and the rooms and grounds are beyond well maintained. High end and casual - a great combination. We loved every minute of our stay.
Probably my favorite place to eat in Calistoga--great food--some quite unique dishes--well prepared--excellent service. The atmosphere is outstanding no matter whether you are in the bar, restaurant, or sitting poolside. Solage seems to attract a pretty hip metrosexual crowd, which is fine as long as they are not getting carried away. There are always a cadre of locals coming and going, so dining here also means getting to see some friends.
Solage is sort of a next level experience. I was here on a work retreat and couldnt believe the quality of amenities and service. Though we visited during the off season and there was a fair bit of construction going on I always felt like I was on the cusp of the wild, secluded but still connected to civilization. Its a short walk into town with great restaurants and fun shops. I really couldnt recommend this place enough. If you have the opportunity, take it.
Ugh. (And this was our anniversary dinner). 4 stars for the food, subtract 3 stars for the service and scheduling. And they had a *lot* of people working. Never coming back, too many different points of failure.1) Arrived at 7:05 for 7:30 reservations, kept telling us 5-10 more minutes, seated at 7:50.2) Waiter came at 7:55. First glass of wine at 8:04.3) Waiter finally took food order, came back 4 minutes later because of terrible handwriting did we order halibut or snapper. How bad is your handwriting that you cant tell the difference? Clearly just didnt write it down.4) I was miserably hungry, asked for some bread. Other guy comes by 5 minutes later with a cornbread muffin thats 1cm diameter, races off before I can ask for a second.5) Took forever to get a water refill as the water guy was racing around.6) Dessert ordered at 9:10 despite us attempting to eat quickly (see above, phenomenally hungry). Meal over at 9:40.Food was great, but we were so annoyed with the slow service that it didnt matter. We had carrot salad, agnolotti (mini raviolis), and the halibut. Or was it snapper :-)What was supposed to be an awesome anniversary dinner was instead just another overpriced meal. I never pull out my calculator, I gave 15% to the penny (assuming tip sharing, kitchen didnt deserve to suffer).We should have stuck with Brannans. Food isnt as good, atmosphere is noisier but wed have been able to enjoy our food as they have their act together.
Went to the SOL bar for lunch. Tried the crab cakes, yellow fin sliders, baby back ribs, banh mi sandwich, and the mushu pork for two. All of the food was cooked to order and was not too cold or too hot to handle. All of the staff was courteous and helpful on getting our orders and directing us to a certain location of the restaurant.
The service found at Solbar is topped only by the incredible food. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food reveals the genius of the chefs. This restaurant is among the finest I have ever had the pleasure of dining at and I highly recommend it.
The room we had was a beautiful large studio with a private patio . The staff at the Salaj was very kind weve been evacuated and they gave us a free bottle of wine and cocktails when we first got there .I used the spa and was treated fabulous .this was our 2 time staying here . And is another great wonderful experience
Disappointing, at the resort for a meeting our room was a long distance from the communal areas which required lots of additional walking - not pleasant when dresses in heels. Also key for room did not work several times requiring a return walk to the front desk then back to the room. Finally left an extra key under the mat. Food was hugely disappointing from functions to room service. Spa area is old and in need of upgrading.
Amazing spa with great amenities. We spent a half day there and were thoroughly relaxed at the end of it. You have to do the trio treatment with the mud bath, scrub, and zero gravity chair!
My wife and I attended her employers 50th year anniversary party here. It was our first time in The Napa Valley and it was amazing! The Solage Resort was nothing short of amazing from the service to the food. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in the Calistoga Ca. Area
Solage is high end spa experience done right. You can spend a blissful day here at the spa detoxing & meditating & reconnecting with your better self. Book a couples mud slide, pack a bathing suit, & let the magic happen.My only advice to the Solage team would be to upgrade their technology & sustainable energy storytelling potential. Improve the 3D audio options during the mud bath & soaking stages & add Oculus VR headsets to the zero gravity chair deep relaxation phase. Then, power your infrared sauna & steam room with solar power & make Solage even better than it already is. Lead the way into a more mindful future. I know you can do it. And I will cheer you along the way as you do! We’ll be back. Trust me.
Even though this was my first spa experience, Im guessing its going to be very hard to beat. The staff was fantastic and they treated us well from the start of the day to the end. Aside from lounging by the mineral pool and eating delicious food, I got my first facial and a upper body rub and they were fantastic. Id gladly recommend Solage to anyone who wanted a day to disconnect.
Top notch resort but I do have to say the service was less than what I was expecting.The resort is beautiful, the spa is very nice, and the pool is terrific. Unfortunately it rained during most of my trip and the entire place is outdoors.
Food was mediocre. Tried their raymist fizz, the Buena Vista is way better. 5 of us order them from our party of 8 and it was unanimous BV is the best. Nice place, good service.
Expensive but well worth it. Great facilities for couples and families. They even have Mercedes convertibles for loan for upto 4 hours, bocce courts, cruiser bikes to use, Choice of breakfast items a la carte upto $80 included for free as part of the package. Make sure to make use of your fulk day. They will allow you to use their facilities and services before check in and afterwards as well. First class in service for accommodating their clients.
Amazing hotel. Awesome rooms and massive pool! We stayed in a king studio and loved it. Solbar was delicious as well. Its located in the heart of Calistoga and they give each room bikes to ride to town! The gym is well equipped and the spa is open for use to all guests of the hotel with is a nice benegit. They even had several Mercedes Benz cars that guests could drive for free. Definitely a great overall value resort in wine country!

A great place to stay in the heart of Napa Valley. Amazingly helpful staff, delicious, high quality food, fairly high-end loaner cars available, beautiful location. They offer great private residences as a good alternative to a hotel.
Traveling post pandemic feels different in lots of ways. That said, Solage has done an admirable job in trying to reclaim their high hospitality standards. The facility is magnificently maintained. Kudos to the landscaping staff! Dining services equally laudable. The 40m lap pool!!! So yes, its a bit pricey. But wo the Meadowood w whom to compete, Solage stands alone at the top. 🙏.
Bottom Line - Trying to impress someone? Take them to Solage and you will win big. Took my mom for mothers day and I was voted best daughter of the year by a mile. We relaxed at the pool and enjoyed the restaurant. My highlight would have to be the cruiser bikes that come with each room. We rode around Calistoga in style! So -

Great place. Right in the heart of vineyards. Awesome service. Quiet, peaceful. They are also know for their spas and restaurant. Conveniently located in Calistoga. Silverado trail is the most beautiful road in West coast.

We visited Solage for a outdoor wedding and reception. The organizer was very thorough and thoughtful. The food was second to none and the service was excellent.The landscaping was well kept, it was a beautiful wedding!

My treatment was like going through a self serve car wash. Absolutely no pampering. You apply everything yourself and sit in a room until someone knocks on the door and says time up. Not my idea of a spa.
Solbar is a great place to grab drinks and appetizers while waiting for dinner reservations or in between winery tastings. It has a great ambiance and is beautiful inside and out. I highly recommend for visitors to Napa Valley.
For such a high-end property, it surprised me that their phone service was extremely difficult to use. I called at least six times to cancel an existing reservations, and each time was either put on hold for 20 minutes or sent directly to voicemail. I experienced this on both the toll-free number as well as by calling the 707 area code directly in an effort to speak directly with the property. To top it off, when I tried to take a different route off of the VRU by selecting new reservations, I was told that person couldnt help me. I expressed my frustration, and apologized and immediately transferred me to a line that asked me to leave a message.
My daughter had her wedding there in june 2015-a perfect 10. People have told us it was the best wedding theyve ever been to-food was amazing ande all the recomended vendors were great. Highly recommend solage for your next event.
The locals seem to like this place a lot. The food is great. Didnt try the wines as we were tasting others, but a great stop for lunch during a Napa wine tour.
Ahhhh the atmosphere. Being at the spa at Solage makes you feel like you are completely isolated from the outside world. I think I could live in the pool forever. The water feels... soft.During my visit, I experienced the mudslide treatment with my boyfriend. Im not one to feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated due to a spa treatment, but it was fun and like nothing Id done before. Worth it just for the experience. The staff is also super friendly and the mini-menu at the spa is great for a cocktail and some chips + salsa by the pool.
Farm to table is where its at when you think of Solbar and Calistoga for the most part. Usually packed for dinner during the weekends. A breath-taking patio with small market lights that hang from the trees with view of that world class Soalge Pool is what makes for a perfect summer afternoon/dinner experience. We arrived past the standard dinner time (9 pm is a bit late for us but no complaints by any means) since thats when there was a free reservation time and were seated indoors. Indoors, we were met with a lovely indoor fireplace that made it feel more cozy and relaxing indoors. Their menu changes daily so that adds to the fun of this place as most of their menu revolves around what is in season. Our dining place took place on a Saturday evening about 2 weeks ago. Their service to us was extraordinary despite feeling that my husband and I felt a bit under dressed dining there. What we raved about after dinner: chilled sweet corn coup and the dollarhide ranch suncrest peaches salad. The corn soup had a good mix of bits of avocado and radish that gave it the punch youd want in a chilled summer soup. And, the peach salad had a rather small portion of prosciutto to not make it sustainable enough to have just that alone...the lavender-honey vinaigrette and the parmiagano mousse (yes! mousse texture!) in that salad made this salad interesting enough to order again. Our main courses werent as awesome as our appetizer/first course. I remember taking note that they offered a poultry option, a lamb option, a steak option, one vegetarian option (which is what I decided to go with) and a pork roast option. Ambiance: Low lit lighting, each dining table had a cute candle atop it. Wines: very good local Napa & Sonoma wines. Recommendation: Sit outside for their cocktails only area and wait to see if you can get a table outside. Best for the wine country+spa dining experience.

Just gorgeous hotel with all the amenities you can think of.. Pool side bar, spa, beautiful dining in and out restaurants, etc etc. Best hotel facility /spa in the Nampa /Sonoma area. Bring your black check book and American express platinum with you! Its Ventana inn expensive.
Sweet outdoor seating, steam rising off the pool, awesome service, excellent food and service. Pricey but thats why you are here, to relax in luxury.

Honestly....not worth the hype. Have been before and always underwhelmed. Went in for a simple lunch... service was a 1 on a scale to 5. Food... 4. Could be really awesome... but just too much up-ity snob attitude going on here.
Napa Valley has many amazing hotels to choose from, but I often find myself coming back to Solage. The lovely layout of the hotel, biking from the rooms to the majestic 50 yard pool, the unforgettable restaurant, Solbar, and the large, tasteful rooms all draw me here again and again.
We just visited for a spa treatment and a swim in the mineral pools. First class resort. You have to try the mud slide treatment at the spa. So fun and relaxing. The restaurant is also really good.
My wife and I had dinner at Solage. Our waitress was very accommodating of my wifes various dietary restrictions and helped us to have a fabulous experience. Ill be back for the risotto.

The place was full on a Tuesday (perhaps due to fried chicken special night), but our meal and service were also special. Hot and cold Dungeness crab starters were excellent. The vegetarian angioloti as well as Marys chicken a al pancha with house Andouille sausce were superb. Beingets with creme Anglaise for dessert were perfect. The wine list is extensive and well chosen, with many local producers represented. All in all, a delightful evening.
Dinner food and service fabulous. Unfortunately no separate kids pool so very noisy at what used to be an adult only area.

Truly a beautiful place to stay in Calistoga. Gives you close access to all of Napa Valley but it’s added benefit is that it’s in the quiet town of Calistoga. The hotel villas were very lovely and private, the spa was fantastic (try the thermal baths!), and there’s a Michelin-starred restaurant on-site. Service was nothing short of excellent. Solage provided us the perfect relaxing getaway we wanted!
Arrangements for construction are understandable. The amounts of water left in the black kale for the Mt. Washing Eggs is not. Presentation also lacked. Hopefully theyll revert back to top form after they complete upgrades/renovations.
This is a review of the restaurant. We went for breakfast and the food and service was excellent. Be prepared to enjoy your meal with a side of pretension and stuffiness though courtesy of the other diners.
Get up to Calistoga and driving around popped in just to check this out and they were wonderful that me just wander the grounds which were absolutely beautiful definitely will be booking that for our next spa excursion

I love Solbar. Ive been here three times with my wife. Weve eaten brunch, lunch and dinner.Solbar is part of Solage, a spa in Calistoga. There is incredible outdoor and indoor dining. The outdoor dining, on a sunny day, is without compare. The indoor dining is equally incredible. The inside has large comfortable tables with high ceiling and several incredibly beautiful large oil paintings by a local artist named Wade Hoefer.The food is incredibly innovative (look up the menu), fresh, tasty (very organic) and well prepared. The presentation is incredible.
Spa Solage was absolutely beautiful, modern, and perfectly tranquil.Try the 3-part mudslide treatment if you never had it. Mud is applied to your skin while you lounge in a hot sauna. After, you soak in a mineral-water filled tub and anti-gravity room, eventually ending with a leisurely swim or lounge around the property.Do bring your own facial products, as after basking around the property for several hours there were not any facial products (cleanser, moisturizer, etc.) in the locker room.
Solage offers a wonderful experience. Its a short bike ride away from downtown Calistoga, with beautiful rooms and excellent spa treatments. The service is absolutely amazing and the dining is delicious.
Seem to have an issue with remembering table bookings, called up to book and two days later got a voicemail regarding my booking (but quoting the wrong day oddly), called the restaurant and they had no record, they finally told me I had no reservation.No excuse for this; if you make a reservation here my advice is to ask for a fax to show they actually booked it so they cant BS you later.
The Calistoga hills are an awesome setting when enjoying the variety of local wines. I was really pleased with the food and the service. Highly recommend for celebrations!
Surprised my husband for his birthday for a night at the hotel and we adore everything about this property. the staff and accommodations were A+. excited to return here for another special occasion.
The spa at Solage is one of the best Ive ever been to. The mudslide treatment is unique and so fun to do with a friend or loved one. The pools are now all co-ed, which makes for more pool temp and water chemistry options (they have a magnesium pool, a saltwater pool, mineral pool etc). I do sorta miss the womens-only clothing optional section, but they have expanded accessibility to the various pools by opening it up, which is cool!Get a mudslide (or any of the other treatments, Ive had amazing facials and thai massages as well) and spend the day at the pools, eating and drinking yummy things from Solbar poolside. Thats my ideal Napa day!
I spent time there with my boyfriend to get a break from the city and relax. It was restful for us and the food was great too. There also is plenty to do if you are so inclined.
We had a nice breakfast at SolBar, food quality was amazing, the service was lacking however. took awhile to get our order in and they werent that busy and out of the pancakes when we inquired

2023-11-25 01:18:41This place wows at every turn, the team onsite is extremely helpful, friendly, and go out of your way to ensure your comforts are met. Every details across the property is well thought out. They offer daily fitness classes, the gym and studio are very nice, updated equipment. The spa is exceptional, my favorite part of the property has to be the spa pools, there are seven to hop around from and we spent all day there. The main pool is beautiful as well. Solbar served up some fantastic drinks and a tasty meal. Will plan an extra night next time we visit. They have bikes for adults and kids, downtown Calistoga is less than a five minute ride, and the Mercedes partnership is great as you get four hours a day to rip around the valley.

2023-10-26 10:02:32Just went for brunch. It was my birthday. Service was beyond excellent young tall woman. Food however was not that great. Crab Benedict was a crab cake. It didnt say that. It was also dry and not fresh. It was turning bad. My mom, in from Hawaii. Had the proccuto. It was brown on the end. Food was not up to your standards. Potatos were really great. Ketchup too, tasted homemade. Disappointing cause Im a local and it was my birthday. Had the whole valley to choose where to celebrate. Again service was 6 stars out of 5. She was perfect in everyway.

Cons:-Hour late check in, threw off our winery reservations-wifi didnt work one of the days-hard to find anyone by the pool for service-someone in our group fell by the pool (another person also fell) took an hour just to put up a sign-no parking late night by our cottage dimly lit resort with back gates that open into the public streetsNext time for the money Id stay somewhere there is more attention to guests and actual service.

Or they assume their guest never cared of their private parts?Have a little heated discussion with the hostess at the breakfast when I asked is there only couples staying here? She was a bit funny with her responsesLocation… well if you are into boring little towns, you are welcome. Other towns in Napa Valley looks more exciting.

2023-07-10 04:52:06So a lot of properties purport to be pet friendly, but Ive decided after our most recent visit to solage, that they are pet tolerant - solage is pet friendly. Not only did we get bowls and treats, but we got embroidered neckerchiefs for both our dogs with their names.The room was great, the spa is amazing, the pool is lovely, the gym has Pelotons, and the service was fantastic. This wasnt our first stay, and well definitely be back.

The moment we walked in, the staff treated us like we were old friends visiting, taking the time to chat with us and personalize our stay.The rooms? Think cozy boutique vibes but with all the fancy touches. Theyve managed to make it feel both upscale and homely, and it really gives off that genuine Calistoga feel.The pool is massive – a total win, especially if youve got kiddos. Our little ones practically lived in it. And speaking of kids, a big thumbs up for the kids eat free deal over the summer. More ice cream for them, more wine for us!The surprise highlight? The Fathers Day golf lessons. Never thought Id pick up a club, but here we are, and it was a blast.All in all, Auberge Calistoga feels like that special secret spot you cant help but rave about. Were counting down to our next visit!

2023-08-09 16:52:145 star resort, 5 star experience that delivers on everything you would expect. Exceptional service from a friendly (in a small town way) caring and attentive staff. Ultra comfortable rooms, some of which have firepits, and water features in zen-like patio settings. We enjoyed the spa and dined at both Solbar and Pico Bar. Highly recommend Pico Bar for tacos, and afternoon refreshments while lounging by the pool!
