This was my second time dining here! I remember the first time when we walked into this restaurant was random, purely by chance as it was open late which was friendly for us as we got off work late.The decor was pleasant, brings you a coziness and give a clean and relaxing feeling.The server were friendly and attentive while explaining about about to the menu. I finally took the advice and ordered the Sichuan pot. The server also came over during the meal to care about our dining experience. Compared to the first time, they have taken a slight improvement in the recipes. I was pleased with this and I could see the sincerity with which this restaurant treats its customers.The best thing about the food is the freshness and variety of the ingredients. I was surprised that the amount of an ORDER was excellent! I could tasted the freshness from the ingredients themselves, which is the ultimate in cuisine.Overall, I would definitely coming back and recommend to others!

Amazing and creative food with inspiration from Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Ordered the Sichuan Pot, the Lamb Mushroom Pot, and the House Fried Chicken. The broth had a lot of flavor, the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. Service staff was friendly and helpful with orders, and the chef was also very kind. Would come again.

The review is mainly for food. We tried chicken ball cajun pot and Sichuan spicy pot. With similar pricing, Sichuan spicy pot got much more ingredients and the displays are much nicer too. Surprisingly, Sichuan pot also has chicken balls other than beef belly while chicken hot pot only have chicken balls. I guess you can tell easily from the pictures which pot looks more tasty and carries more value. Moreover, the soup base doesnt bring much flavor other than spicy. I would say it still has room to improve considering a relatively new restaurant.

Tried the new Tom Yum Pot with beef at solo hot pot and it was amazing! The flavors were so fresh and tasty. The broth was perfect, with just the right amount of spices. It warmed me up and made every spoonful a treat. Must Try!!!

Cozy place. I love how they mix the barn style and beach vibe as decoration. Big portion of food and tasty. Non-Alcohol Asahi is surprisingly good. Must try their wings (very spicy) or Fried Chicken. Playing K-Pop Music which I like. Bowling place in the same plaza if you guys are down.

Fantastic service from the sole waitress. It’s a small place and it was full at the time of my visit, but the kind lady was doing her best and everyone else seemed to appreciate her as well.The food was great, tastier than boiling point, plenty of items in the pot. Each hot pot dish came with a side of ice green tea and a bowl of rice as well.

I stopped by the restaurant just before closing time and decided to order something quick. I opted for the beef rice bowl. The portion of meat was generous, and the onions in the dish really enhanced the flavors. Will come back next time to try their hot pot.

Not worth what you pay for…….Broth is very plain with main ingredient of water based. Meat is tasteless. Chicken wings taste like from Costco Frozen wings and who uses cherry tomatoes and baby cut carrots in a hot pot!!? Shock. First time and last time. Good luck with new openings.

It’s so nice to see new restaurants open up around the area! i had a great time dining here:food - i ordered the tom yum pot and it was delicious. spicy and sour with a thai kick. the soup base was perfectly savory. they also had a variety of veggies to choose from which is a big YES for me. the beef slices were super soft and tender; the fatty parts just melt in your mouth. i also ordered spring rolls, which were fried to the perfect crisp, not too soft and not over fried. my only regret is that i didn’t get to try the hot wings before it got taken down from the menu. overall the food was amazing and i liked the flexibility of being able to customize the hot pot. i did wish there were more appetizers to choose from, but it is a new business so i get that they’re still in the experimenting process.atmosphere and service - the waiter was really nice and friendly. he was very informed on the menu; he would give detailed breakdowns of the menu - sauces, soup bases - to people who asked, and it was obvious that he was familiar with the menu. the decor and lighting inside gave the place a homey feel. they also have a great music selection and it added to the comfy vibes. this would be the perfect place to be on a cold rainy day; that’s the feels of this restaurant.overall i enjoyed the experience of dining here and would definitely come back

I’v saved the place for a long time and finally came there with my best friends. Such an impressive dining experience! Surprise us from door’s decor of Halloween! Make us feel so full and satisfy after eating. I got kimchi Pot, my friends got Sichuan, Tom Yum, and Cajun. All of pots taste different and very yummy. Pots’ portion are big and price are fair (each pot comes with rice and tea). Also! Big Plus: Service is very nice. Waiter is professional and attentive.

Its called Solo Hot Pot so I came soloPros: pretty sure this is the first restaurant in that plaza for a long time. The food at the bowling alley doesnt count. Should be plenty of parking in the parking lot even with the bowling alley. Worse come to worse theres neighborhood parking. The food is good. I got the kimchi braised beef hot pot. It wasnt what I was expecting to be honest. Was expecting a shabu shabu type of experience, but this wasnt bad. The amount of food you get vs the price is fair, but nothing too crazy. Service is good. People working there are very attentive and happy to help in any way. A decent amount of options to choose from including appetizers as well. Nice decor and setup. Clean.Cons: just not my type of food I guess. I like the more umami flavoring when it comes to hot pot. Never been a huge fan of braised beef either. Probably just personal preference. Maybe more meat in the hot pot. Price compared with the other hot pot options out there are pretty similar.. Jazzcat, boiling point and etc.Bottom line: okay first I need put this out there.. The first review that was written by an older lady before mine... You leave a 3 star review that doesnt provide reasoning for why you gave it.. There isnt anything about the quality of the food or how the meal was at all, service and etc.. You ordered a sandwich appetizer. The place is called Solo Hot Pot not Solo Sandwich.. With a 3 star review you mind as well tell everyone how mediocre the place is and for people to avoid it.Anyways. This place is brand new. Give it a chance and maybe youll like it. Its definitely not bad, just isnt what Im personally looking for.

Ive been living in the area for over 10 years, and it was nice to see something new open in the plaza, especially a restaurant because there are none there.I found the atmosphere to be very welcoming, and the interior was very nice and clean. Amazing service, the people working there were extremely kind and I noticed how attentive they were. The food was also very good, I ordered the miso tofu pot, and it was a very good vegetarian option, and the broth was very rich and flavorful. For the amount of food you get the price is not that bad and they offer tea and rice with each pot which is very nice. Overall, my experience im very satisfied with my experience. The food was good, and I would definitely bring a friend or two on my next visit.

This is an Asian fusion hot pot place. We just wanted some late night foods, so googled there and arrived around 9:30PM, which turned out the place is a surprise! I found out many hot pot styles which are from Korean, Japanese, southern Louisiana, or Chinese. I ordered Sichuan spicy with Lamb pot, corn cheese, and hot wings. Sichuan spicy and hot wings are amazing. Hot wings are crispy outside and juicy inside, and your arms will locking when they burn your mouth! Soooooo sppppicy! I llllllove it! Anything else: service is enthusiastic, environment is clean and cute. Overall: I will go back!

Ernie was our server and he made our first time memorable. He was extremely helpful explaining the menu for us as we didn’t know most of the items. He was very attentive to our needs and asked us throughout our visit if we needed anything else. Food was amazing as well. Not only was me and my bestie dancing in my seat from the customer service but also from how delicious the food was. 10/10 to the chefs. I will definitely be coming back and referring to others. I have a serious fish allergy, and I was a little nervous upon hearing that a majority of their food contained fish (even the broth). I was hesitant when they offered a vegan broth and hoped that it would not compromise the taste. HOWEVER, the broth was very flavorful and the vegetables were really really good. I recommend the Pickled Mustard with Beef. It was tangy in a good way. Ernie, our server, was very attentive, and upon realizing I had an allergy, did everything to ensure that my food was fish free and even checked up on me and my party every five minutes for water and to make sure I was physically okay. 10/10 service, and I didn’t get a allergic reaction. Thank you for the experience Ernie!! Will stop by again!

Second time coming here, didn’t take any pictures though. Too hungry so I dig in right away.One thing I realized, they changed the system. The new system allows us to select the broth, the ingredients, the carbs and more sauce options now! Its much way way cheaper and affordable, a pot starting price was $13.99I ordered a green curry pot and I strongly recommend it!Would definitely visit this hot pot again!

I agree with some of the reviews that the broth is very bland (water with no flavor).I ordered a cajun hot pot, all tasty, just spicy with water. I added soy sauce, but it still doesnt help improve the taste. Pot looks pretty with some ingredients that other places do not have. I like the pasta but it is not enough, so I ordered extra for $2.25.House fried chicken was good. Not hard crunchy, but soft crunchy and tender meats.Service is okay. Actually, come by a few times to check.Deco is simple and clean.

Not worth the price.. They give you only enough fire for your hotpot for a few mins. Portion sucked. Got the spicy Sichuan pot, half of it was napa cabbage for 24 bucks before tax and tip. Waiter there was attentive but I found him just staring at me while I was eating and made me feel uncomfortable. Sauces they give you sucked.. Who eats Sichuan hotpot with ponzu sauce.. Only other sauce was chilli crisp. I might go back and give it another try but definitely wont be getting the Sichuan pot. Only plus is theyre open late till 12am.

I am an old lady. I love eating healthy foods with zealous service. I confirmed with owner the broth is based on authentic Kombu, which I was happier because I do not like oily broth. Just want to mention, the A/C is cold. That’s the only complaint from an old lady. In general, it worths a five star review.

This is my favorite restaurant at the moment! I love the friendly service, the atmosphere, and the food. My favorite is the sichuan pot, I get it every time I come. I love that they can customize the ingredients and the level of spiciness to extra mild. I always leave happy and satisfied with the food and my overall experience.

I dont often eat fried chicken, but the fried chicken here is delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I ordered a mutton hot pot, which included mutton, quail eggs, cabbage, several kinds of mushrooms, tofu, vermicelli, radish, winter melon, and lotus root. Tastes good and healthy
