This was my first visit at an extended stay hotel. Staff was wonderful! The property is clean. The room was much bigger than I thought it would be.There are plenty of stores and food near by. I highly recommend Totos Pizza and Pâte à Choux.We brought our 3 cats with us and had a wonderful 2 week stay. It was a home away from home.The only downside was the near by police station. Sirens were a small annoyance, but I sleep with earbuds so I didnt notice it.
Good highway access. Clean rooms and the staff are friendly. I find the are clean and safe. No riff raff nearby. Rooms are very good size, our came with kitchenette. Parking was simple and they offered a simple breakfast son in the morning. FYI the hotel IS in the flight path of SFO flight departures but to be honest I love that because Im a bit of a plane watcher.
Nice people at the front desk - but the room... it was pretty bad. Furniture was chipped off and worn down to the point where the fabric/pleather was peeling off, shower curtain was torn in multiple places, chipped flooring, fridge that was very dirty all along the outside.... for the price, I was and am stunned. Ive seen this hotel chain do better and I think its just what California is turning into. You can also hear every plane that goes over head and anyone who moves above you can be heard walking across the floor.
This hotel was amazing! We traveled with 3 younger kids and everyone had their own bed. The pool was a fun distraction during the slower parts of our trip. We were able to grocery shop and cook in our room which stretched our vacation budget quite a bit -and- free breakfast on site was a huge help there too. Housekeeping was amazing and even went a little extra mile and set my girls beds up with their stuffies while we were out adventuring! The location is close to plenty of different highway entrances that made getting around the bay area really simple. Just a brilliant hotel and we will totally be back if we make it back to San Francisco again!
We stayed for 2 weeks as my family was in the area for a special surgery. Except for being at the hospital for a few days, we were basically in the suite for two weeks. Sonesta Es was perfect for this. Comfortable property. Easy access to grocery, pharmacy, tons of restaurant/take-out choices, etc. Very easy to get around. And Lisa and her staff were very attentive and accommodating. We were able to enjoy the use of the in suite kitchen and the outdoor grill. Easy area to get some walking exercise in, etc. Mall and shopping centers right across the street. We did have a car (rental) which made life easy, but it could be done without a car a I guess - I liked having the car though as I was able to make lots of quick easy drives to get the things we needed.
It was ok. Room was a little dirty, mildew where the shower meets the baseboard, large spider webs in the living room by the tv stand, sofa was worn out, sofa bed super uncomfortable, beds are hard, holes in the sheets, drapes are broken, the counter that served as a table was falling and in need of better repair. Breakfast was ok. The best thing about this place was the amount of space it offered over other hotel rooms and having 2 bathrooms.
We checked in this hotel at Halloween evening. We booked for two nights. The lady who works at the Front desk was very nice and professional.Per our request, she showed me the room first before our descision . I asked to write down her name on the paper, unfortunately I lost the paper, so I couldn’t remember her name. But her smiling face and friendly make me feel so warm and welcoming. Another guy who works with her is still very nice. The room was 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms. The unit is very clean, kitchen has everything you need . We feel like a home. I stayed in a two bedroom suite for a few nights in late June. The room itself was adequate in size, and was clean. Fixtures and furniture ranged from new to worn (see photos). The room and building were dated, but only in style--everything worked/was functional. Water pressure was good.Pool area is outdoor and well-kept. Though the weather was unseasonably cool, the pool was heated well enough for one of my party to swim regularly. Jacuzzi was unfortunately closed off. Basketball available for court upon request at front desk. There is also a BBQ area with nice grills and tables off to the side of the pool area.Staff were lovely and always happy to help, be it with directions to local spots or recommendations. Breakfast bar was closed due to COVID, but they provided ample food in paper bags, which were filled via custom request slip (see photo).The main building housed conference rooms, a seating/dining area, small business center, and laundry facilities. Washers and dryers were free to use, though you need your room key to access. Bring your own detergent or purchase at the pantry beside the front desk.Location is near some basic shopping areas and a mall. It is a bit of a hike to downtown SF, though the BART station is nearby. Pretty close to the airport.
Very spacious and clean room, perfect for families. Its very close to the airport and super close to restaurants and the supermarket that were on the other side of the street. The breakfast is free and the parking is $10.
This place is so weird. It looks nice, mostly. The average traveler wouldnt notice the issues (Mildew on the bottom of the wall near the shower, sun bleached furniture, and a staff that does not smile) but they are there. The most disappointing thing? they have most beautiful breakfast nook. But they are so stingy on the food that Best Western has a better breakfast. If you stay here, the breakfast SHOULD NOT be counted as one of the reasons to come.
Worked a 16 hour day, and drove 9 additional hours to get to the hotel. Checked in at 4:54AM and ended up checking out 4 hours later. I understand that my long day and decision to check in this early in the morning is not your problem, and I can tolerate the noisy children. What I can’t tolerate is several adults, including the hotel staff watching whatever dumb sports event on TV, and shouting at the top of their lungs whenever a score is made or whatever was happening starting at 5:45 in the morning... We all signed noise waivers under the threat of removal from the premises which apparently is a rule not even your staff will follow, let alone enforce. I said nothing about any of this when I checked out, and probably wouldn’t have even left a negative review because I try to be kind and understanding, however upon checking out 4 hours after checking in… I was met with a condescending tone after the woman realized my early checkout. I tried to suffer through it, but couldn’t. Moral of the story, don’t get a room in the same building as the lobby.
As soon as we walked into the reception we felt very welcome, such a great atmosphere. Very professional, friendly and kind staff. We stayed for one night and the rooms were very spacious, clean and equipped with all essentials. The beds were really comfortable!!!
Great room, lots of space. The breakfast sandwich was amazing for hotel, pandemic, to go food. The overall room cleanliness and quality were good. Don’t like the fact that all the rooms are outdoor facing, kinda motel like. We had a two room suite which two bathroom and three TVs.The building looks about old and run down. The parking lot was ridiculously small. Each time I need to park, had to drive around to find a spot. Our front door did not close properly without really forcing it. The heater never worked. The TVs were old and not great quality. The beds were fine, the bathroom was nice and clean. And there was a good amount of space as it was a two bedroom suite. Also no elevators and we were on the third floor.The pool is outdoors and tiny.
I and my family went here just before Christmas last year. Its about an hour away from my house, but I reserved accommodation because I was going to take my two children to various places in San Francisco.To conclude first, if youre going to find accommodation near San Francisco Airport, I recommend this place ten or a hundred times.I really liked it.At first, the price was cheaper than I thought, and it was surprising that room conditions and breakfast were included.I have a six-month-old baby, so I asked for a baby bed, but the year was old, but it was kept clean.Everywhere in the room we were given was so, so, so clean. Even if I rubbed it just in case, there was no dust. Bedding, sofa, and any part of the kitchen were neatly arranged. If you go here, you will know what I mean.The staff at the reception were also kind, and the breakfast is currently to-go system because of Covid-19.I think its okay to order according to the number of family members.My couple loved this place so much, and I was grateful that the children slept well all night. We decided to make a reservation here next time we have another trip to San Francisco.I totally recommend this place to you guys.
Great hotel but some of the employees that work there seem very rude and as if they don’t know what they were talking about. I had got some hygiene stuff from their pantry and a big heavy set guy with black hair made something up and said that I didn’t plan to pay for it when money was never an issue. I was under the impression that he said he would put it on the tab and I pay for everything before I check out and said that I was rude when I was never rude and inquiring about how getting toiletries work. This hotel is a good place to stay at but some of the people that work here need to get their stuff straightened out because some things don’t seem transparent and need to stop making stuff up.
Very nice, clean suite. Huge walk-in closet & beautiful kitchen area. Super quiet location and not too far away from the heart of the city. If you are limited in the area of transportation, or are a person who likes to walk around and discover the city youre in, I wouldnt recommend it just because its not actually in San Francisco but rather in San Bruno which in a car is only about 15-20 minutes away (depending on traffic). Other than that its a great place to stay with a friendly & helpful staff!
Stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent stay. clean rooms. Only concern is that there is no elevator, so pls call ahead to confirm a ground floor unit if need so be.
This is my go-to hotel when I vacation in the San Francisco area. The rooms are clean and spacious. Room service ensures the rooms look as though they are fresh and clean everyday. The only downside about room service, for those who care, is that on the weekends you need to request full room service (like many other hotels) otherwise they give only a light touch up. For me that was fine since its a quick talk with the front desk.The breakfast buffet is also a huge plus. For those who dont want to cook breakfast in their suite (Im one of those) this will make your vacation so much better.Overall I would recommend this hotel over many of the others in the area.Disclaimer: This is near an airport. Planes arent loud but if you are an extremely light sleeper the room service staff provides ear plugs and you can request more if needed.
We loved this hotel! We had a two bedroom suite. We were shocked with the stocked kitchen and amenities. Our room was SO CLEAN. Lovely pool and close to many shopping areas. Breakfast was delicious, just gets pretty full and crowded in the mornings. Highly recommend!
Least welcoming short term stay hotel Ive ever stayed at. It was reasonably clean and secure, and the facility was nice, but it was extremely transactional. Like, hi, whats your last name only, here is the list of rules, dont be loud and disrupt our long term residents, here is your key. I think they said welcome but maybe not. Breakfast wasnt available at the alotted time. Shower was luke warm. The bed was uncomfortable. All acceptable things if people are friendly but they werent. We wont be back.
Very nice clean rooms. Bed was comfortable. We loved the suite, kids had their own space and the living room and kitchen was nice to just relax from a long day. Stephanie was great as well as the rest of the staff. We loved it and will definitely stay again.
Nice place to stay when you have multiple families. We live a couple hours from the airport and live to drive the day before and spend the night. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and one toddler in the suite. Beds were comfy. Breakfast sandwiches were good. Nice and clean.
Easily one of the best value stays I’ve ever been to. It doesn’t even feel like a hotel, rather like a nice condominium complex. The rooms are HUGE, offering plenty of space for a relatively cheap price. And the amenities are excellent, including free laundry, heated pool, 24 hour gym, and even a basketball court. Breakfast was grab and go bc covid, but they did offer a rather extensive menu that included microwaveable breakfast sandwiches which was nice. Or if you’d prefer to cook yourself, you have a full kitchenette as well! Very close to plenty of stores and restaurants, and less than a half hour drive into San Francisco with traffic. And shout out to the staff, who provided such a warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I’ll definitely be back again!
Clean large apartment rooms. No elevator so if you are in the 3rd floor be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flight of stairs.Rooms were fully furnished with kitchen and dishes. Bathroom were on the small side. But comfy. Only thing was sofas were stained (greasy)and dirty. They do allow pets but dont think it was a pet stain, either way still smelled clean and fresh.
Clean, comfy, super helpful front desk, cute patio, nice bay view and walking path. Easy access to everything.Breakfast was awful. Two item menu. Do not let that deter you because everything else was fabulous.
AWESOME hotel for the price… maybe the best beds I’ve been inside of in a suite… that’s about all I have to say.
By far one of the, if not the, best hotel I have stayed in! The staff is really nice and welcoming, the breakfast is pretty good, and the rooms are really big for the price you pay compared to all the other hotels, especially when you consider that this is a suite complete with a kitchen. The only bad thing about the kitchen is that there is no oven available. But that is the only con. Utensils, a dish washer, stove, microwave, and refrigerator are all provided. Highly recommended!
Great location close to airport, but in a quiet place. Rooms can use an upgrade. Breakfast was average.
Extremely disappointed that the hotel was remodeled and yet, the furniture and quality of the beds certainly did not reflect this. I wonder what were the things that actually got changed because the furniture are visibly worn out and the bathrooms need improvement around the showers (i.e. edges like the caulking, the door frames, the sliding glass doors). I would not choose to stay here again, unless the price per night is a lot cheaper than where I prefer staying 9/10 times.I am giving this hotel 1 star, but because we were accommodated by our request to change rooms the next day and the location is very good, I am giving my review a 2 star. The 1 star reflects as follows: No elevators, cant get ice from the lobby anytime after breakfast, you need your room key to enter the lobby from the main entrance, staff handling the breakfast can hardly understand, nor speak English, no complementary toiletries (i.e., toothpaste, toothbrush, comb), furniture are worn out, housekeeping is minimal (you have to request service on weekdays), some beds squeak, and you can hear noise from other rooms.
Great experience. Have you heard of a hotel that has hot chocolate 24/7? I havent. Staff was really friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were neat, clean, large etc. Definitely recommended.
We didn’t actually end up staying here because it was in a different neighborhood than we thought. But the front staff were some of the kindest and helpful people ever. If we had stayed I’m sure that the staff would have made it enjoyable. The lobby was nice and clean and the pool looked nice.
This used to be a Marriot brand, so it is not as nice as previously. No big breakfasts, dinner, or cocktail hours that really made the brand. Plus the dishwasher was bringing ken, the toilet clogged, and the brooms were starting to look run down. However, management was very helpful in booking our room and of you need a suite the overall quality is well worth the price.
Can get pricey but its a pretty nice suite hotel. Clean. Breakfast is good if you dont mind the covid measures. The pool was heated enough for the kids to enjoy in SF cool temps. No elevators. Planes taking off sound like theyre going to land in your living room, but no noise overnight. Double check you car locks for the night cuz this place looks like the type that gets opportunistic thieves. Not a bad area necessarily...near a mall, BART parking and airport, but not enough passing traffic to deter petty crime.
This is a great place to stay. I just stayed here 9 days. The complete facility is clean and in good condition. The breakfast is your normal hotel breakfast. All of the staff is friendly and very helpful. Shopping and food are within walking distance (across the street). The only slight drawback is occasionally a plane takes off over the hotel. It isnt to bad though. They also will provide ear plugs if needed. I recommend the Staybridge Suites.
I was very happy with my recent stay at this location. The furnishing and amenities reflect a nice apartment, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, walk in closet in full bathroom. The property has a small pool, hot tub and a small basketball court. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The close proximity to the airport and lots of good dining options was great as well. With all of this in mind, I was also very pleased with the pricing. Very strong value for those who are in need of a place to stay near the airport or to work in that area. I could see myself staying here for weeks.
Outstanding hotel close to SFOOur suite was super clean, very well-appointed, the staff was very friendly, coffee was hot first thing in the morning and the shuttle driver was great. Would absolutely recommend, especially to families with multiple children.
This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Free breakfast is normal but free dinner three days of the week is unheard of. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. All necessities are provided. Food was delicious and staff is very nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay at Staybride Suites.
The pictures on the website are making it look much nicer than it is. Fortunately the rooms are large, clean and well equipped
Unfortunately had a poor stay at the Sonesta ES Suite recently.I was looking for a place that was close to the airport as well as in-between SF City and San Jose, and the location itself was solid. The area also is basically like a re-made condo area. Instead of interconnected hallways, there is a large outdoor courtyard surrounded by separated buildings.Staff was super nice when they welcomed me in - being able to take my bags and keeping me posted on when my room would be ready.The part that I had a really rough time was an odd smell that was super pungent and nauseating. I couldnt quite put my finger on it but basically smelled like a really strong perfume-like cleaning agent, strongest in the living room area and wafted towards the bedroom as well. I went up to the front the first time and asked if anything could be done and was told to leave the AC/Heater fan running and that it would go away on its own. That wasnt the case and after about 8 hours, I went again to the front office and told them of the issue. They would send a deodorizer fan over to the room after about 4 hours. Although the smell would be a little less worse, I still had a nauseating feeling every time I stepped into the hotel room and would leave my room door open for a while to try and help a bit.On top of this, the room itself wasnt all in the best of shape. A door stop was loose on the ground. Painted walls were chipped. The conditioner had some weird brownish goo.The room itself is large though! With a large living room area / stove / big fridge / big bed / functioning shower / a large bathroom and closet area.The best part about Sonesta here is that its fairly close to the airport (about a 10-minute drive) and that it is across the street from a mall that includes some food options and a Starbucks as well as a nearby cafe that was nice. Do note that the mall nearby is unfortunately pretty desolate and the sidewalks are not in the best of shape either.Families looking for a bigger suite area with a swimming pool / basketball court will also find something to like here as well. Noting here too in case people like to work out - the fitness room is tiny with three cardio machines (bike / treadmill and one other item Im not remembering) with a tiny bit of room behind the machines to do other body workouts). :(
We only stayed one night, but if we return we will make this our go to place for the entire trip! The location was great, close to a mall, the airport, and the freeway. Our room had two bedrooms and a full kitchen. Everything was clean and well maintained. The front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served in the morning but we were heading out to an old favorite, Stacks. We had dinner the night before at Jacks. Cant say enough great things about this place! Very close to the hotel and delicious food! Well stay here when we are in the area again.

I loved staying here. All the staff was friendly all the time . I stayed here because I had surgery with Dr. Bowers. And they make sure I got to my appointments on time and back and forth to the hospital with a shuttle bus. And the rooms were very clean. I recommend staying at this hotel.
Great place to stay when youre traveling with family and need a place near the airport. Newly renovated. Very comfy beds, bedding and towels. Very thoughtful of the hotel to provide earplugs for the airplane noise. Within 10 min walk to San Bruno BART station if youre plan is to go site seeing in San Francisco. Only reason did not give 5 stars was breakfast area was somewhat cramped causing inefficient flow. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
Super convenient location, like it was so close to shopping and places to eat. Great customer service, (Paul was the best!) They also have a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel! Nice, large and clean rooms. Will def be staying here again the next time i visit!
I stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time! I loved the 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms with kitchen and livingroom. Very comfortable and spacious. I loved the free laundry room, breakfast, and exercise room. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely come back!
This hotel is located a short walk from a BART station, which made getting into the city easy.The room my family and I stayed in was spacious and clean, with a lot of useful amenities. For being so near an airport, I found that there werent that many planes flying over at night werent very disturbing.Overall, I am pleased with my stay at this hotel.
The suites are very clean, modern, the staff is very friendly, the swimming pool is heated, there is also a jacuzzi and the breakfast has a variety of choices. There is also a grilling area with seating and a basketball court. Parking is very accessible to all rooms. Walking distance from target and mall. Perfect for families
Beautifully landscaped property. Great hot breakfast buffet. Really nice, clean rooms. I used the guest office. Very nice and accommodating. They have free evelopes. Guest laundry is nice and complimentary. The hot tub is wonderful. They have a heated pool. They are pet friendly. They have full kitchens in room. They have free appetizers in the evening and room service. Very nice place
Stayed one night with three kids due to proximity to SFO. The area was pretty commercialized with a lowes and large retail stores close by. The noise from the street cant be heard from the hotel but you will definitely wake up a couple of times feeling like youre on the runway. However thats the price to pay for the time youll save getting to the airport for your flight.The large space was definitely welcomed after several days of traveling. We had a two bedroom suite with three full beds, two restrooms, living area, kitchen, three TVs.Breakfast was included and the selection was pretty standard. The hotel was clean all around and the staff was relaxed and took care of our needs. Would stay again for this purpose.
Great place to share with friends had two rooms and a kitchen. Whats a decent price for the area. Stayed a couple of nights had a good time. Use the barbecues there but had to clean them first they dont take very good care of them. The best thing is the happy hour there free beer and wine Plus food.
A cozy place to stay. Located very close to the airport (and their shuttle service offers to pick you up from there). Not super noisy for it though, its in a nice spot. You will hear airplanes come and go but it doesnt shake the windows or so. Within short walking distance of the BART -- which can get you into Sanfran easily -- and the shopping center. The rooms are well taken care of, the building might look a little worse for wear in some spots, but my room was clean and well kept-up. Cleaning service came by as regularly. Front lobby building is nice. Good extra offerings like their shuttle service (which they will also drive to nearby locations) and breakfast. I didnt use the pool. A good place for our weeklong stay.
Stayed for 100 days for work. Nice place clean! Staff was great and I appreciated that. Cat lives outside named sunny, nor friendly but keeps rodents away!
Amenities and rooms were great. Clean and comfortable beds. Other guests were very noisy when passing by the room. The stairs are wooden, and make a lot of noise when being used. And because of the proximity to the airport, planes can be heard flying very close by at all times of the night.
Excellent experience. It is not overly fancy, but very nice. Plenty of room for my 6 people. Very safe. Close to tons of shopping and restaurants. Great pool. Had no elevators though for the 2nd and 3rd levels. Would definitely stay again.
Average room. Horrible breakfast. I think they are still running on Covid protocol. Pitiful selection and ends too early at 8:30. Covid is over. Bring back a normal selection. Microwave grilled cheese and plain bagels just doesn’t cut it. Feels like they enjoyed the Covid cutbacks are are just riding them out.
Just a 5min drive away from SFO airport. Free airport shuttle available. Small shopping mall with shops, restaurants, fast food and a cinema in walking distance (5-10min). Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, well equipped and clean. Small continental breakfast included (actual take away because of COVID). We didn’t find a safe, which would be helpful. But wasn’t a problem at all.
This place is quaint and immaculate. The kitchenette is of adequate size, and all cookware and dining ware was supplied. A plastic pitcher was already in the refrigerator for storing cold beverages. The bedroom was separated from the main area by double doors, which had locking handles and a deadbolt on top for extra security. It even had a walk in closet that had shelves and plenty of hangers, and included an overhead light! The staff is very friendly and helpful!
Location is both close to the airport as well as to the BART into the city centre and local shopping malls. I stayed in a one bedroom suite with an extra pullout bed. The room was a bit old but cosy enough. The free breakfast had a good range that changed every day had a had a lot of options making it a very good part of the stay. Staybridge also runs a free shuttle service to the airport which I highly recommend taking advantage.
Good location to get to and from SF. Walls are a bit thin as you can easily hear next door guests. Parking is limited and definitely not enough if the hotel is full. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and accommodations have been updated. Breakfast is included
We stayed here for 4 nights. For its price the rooms are quite big, which was the main plus factor. The staff are cordial, and the pool is well-maintained. Maybe some appliances are on the older side, but Im being nitpicky here.

Hotel room is clean and spacious. Location is great: next to BART station and a Target, very close to SFO. WiFi is sufficiently fast fpr most of the basic surfing. Bed is comfortable too. I appreciate the full kitchen in the suites. Breakfast is decent, but nothing great. Only con is no elevator.
Stayed here for one night and will never stay again. Night staff isunwelcoming. Hotel is a remodeled motel so all the rooms have exterior doors. Does not feel safe. Also, there is NO ELEVATOR, which is surprising since no one likes carrying heavy luggage two flights of stairs. Rooms are reasonably large and clean. Hotel is also pretty far from the airport. Breakfast is typical for this type of hotel...pre made high carp stuff.
We havent even left yet but weve been so happy were not even going to wait.Were patients of Dr. Bowers and are here for two weeks. As the caretaker, I was really anxious about logistics after surgery with staying at a hotel instead of being home... But this place quickly became home too.The staff was EXTREMELY kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and almost overly accommodating. Anything we needed, between a ride or an extra pillow or six was immediately taken care of. All we had to say was the office and we were on our way. This experience has been nothing short of amazing in a trying, yet exciting, time for our family. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.The ONLY suggestion we have is to have a way to hook up to streaming services or stronger wifi for extended stay guests. Media wise, it felt a bit like 1999 haha. But truly. THANK YOU.
This is a really clean but no-frills place to stay. I you need or want more space during your stay and enjoy the availability of a kitchen, you want to consider this place.The hotel has been renovated not long ago and offers really clean and well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. It also offers free breakfast and on some days during the week, happy hour meals on evenings. The staff is very friendly and makes every guest feel very welcome.Another benefit is the close proximity to SFO, if you need a place to stay between two flights or for a short stop-over. Finally the nearby BART station is great which is in walking distance and offers convenient access to downtown San Francisco, without the hassle of finding those rare parking spots.The only two less positive things I want to mention are the occasional noise coming from planes taking off from nearby SFO and the not so speedy Internet connection, which seems to get clogged frequently due to excessive use from some of the guests.
What a great option for a stay near San Francisco. The Staybridge suites is a 5 minute walk to the San Bruno BART station, which can take you to the SFO airport or to downtown SF.Accommodations include a spacious room with kitchen, complimentary breakfast and shuttle transfer to airport.Desk staff were very accommodating. Special shout-out to manager Lisa who assisted with check in.The breakfast is not all stale breads either (as I have found at other comp. breakfast hotels).... it had different variety of eggs and a meat each day and fresh fruit as well. This was a great way to start the day with kids in tow. Then a 30 minute trip on BART and we had a full day in SF.Pool looked fine. We didnt bring swim stuff, as we were expecting cool SF weather.Only negative... the cleaning staff need to move the rolling coffee table / automon when vacuuming. We moved it and found a lot of debris underneath... yuck.
I only stayed here for one night, but it is enough to know that their service is not good.Their shuttle service never came when we waited at the hotel shuttle station while other hotels’ shuttles came by at least twice. It finally came 15 mins AFTER we called the hotel to pick us up. The room was clean, but heating was too loud and the bathroom vent keep made weird noises.The problem was in the morning. The front desk person didnt inform us that breakfast doesnt start until 7 am. I mean, which hotel starts breakfast that late? We had an early flight to catch, so we were going to grab something to eat really quickly and off to the airport, but no food!! Of course, they run shuttles every hour, we HAD TO WAIT till 7:00 even though we checked out at 6:25. Again, we were never informed that shuttle service schedule when we checked in. The shuttle guy refused to go to the airport before 7:00.I am an IHG rewards member, and never had a bad experience until today. Only reason for two stars is because of cleaness of the room. If you have options, skip this hotel.
Great long term place to stay when house was being worked on. Ray very respectful and kind along with Paul. Some of the staff need work. Maid service is not that good. Washer and dryer need work. Televisions need upgrade.
Location away from traffic. Very quiet facility.Room very clean, kitchenette clean and utensil to prepare small meal, and table space to eat. Bathroom very clean, and lots parking. Slept great!!!
We love staybridge!This stay was 5 days. Clean and comfortable room (2bedroom, 2bath).Plenty of supplies for cooking in the kitchen.Staff were all friendly.Pool was warm.hottub even better.Had a basket ball court (nice addition).Breakfast was great and mon-wends there is a ‘happy hour’ baked potato bar and wine hits the spot! Close to airport so you will hear planes taking off. But it’s walking distance to lucky grocery store and a mall with target. Loads of places to eat near by too.We didnt use shuttle but the have it!Great place to stay! Feels like home!
Very good location, room and staff.The laundry is free for the guests who are staying in the hotel. They have social dinner nights three times a week which is complementary for the guests.The hotel is at the walking distance from Tanforan Mall. Not just the mall, but there are many restaurants, shops and shell petrol station.
Great location! Plenty of food choices around. Not far from the SFO airport. Nice clean room. The gym could be bigger and have free weights and bench. Overall I still give it five stars.
Stayed here because I had an early flight out of SFO. Served it’s purpose well. I parked at San Bruno BART which ended up being 12 bucks for a week; obv much better than SFO long term would be. The shuttle to the airport was convenient; just be sure to schedule it at check-in.
Staybridge has the best extended stay suites in this area. Its conveniently located (5 min walk to Bart and an Avis car rental office; 5 min to The Tanforan Mall; 2 min to Best Buy and Lucky supermarket). The climate of this area too is very comfortable. Its neither too cold like SF nor too warm like the East and South Bay. The suites themselves are very spacious and furnished - perfect for an extended stay with your family. The even have a heated swimming pool. Their breakfast buffet is extraordinary, and they serve dinner for free Mon through Wed. Theres ample parking too. The prices also are extremely reasonable considering the competition in the extremely expensive SFO neighborhood.
Breakfast doesnt have a lot to choose from but the rooms are awesome. Just be prepaired to pay. But it does have a full kitchen and separate rooms and bathrooms. Very modernized and great upkeep. You do hear the airplanes but only a few are loud enough to bother you and it isnt an all day and night thing. Close to the mall and plenty of places to eat.
I wish I could rate them higher because their front desk staff has exceptional customer service. Very nice and accommodating people and the room was very nice, however, Im only rating a 3 because I thought this location was family and business travelers focused. I stayed for 2 weeks for business and was disappointed that two out of the three weekends I stayed attracted some disruptive and undesirable guests. Several nights I didnt get to sleep until well after 3 a.m. because of the disruptions. One of the nights the cops were even called. Not sure if its the location or what but these rooms arent cheap. It was hard to believe that someone would spend that kind of money only to get kicked out. It was unfortunate that it seemed to occur regularly on the weekends. I also didnt feel like the grounds were very well kept. The rooms however were very nice. I would stay at a Staybridge again but maybe not the San Bruno location.Its too bad because it really has the potential to be a 4.5 star place.
By far the rudest front desk staff I’ve come across. Ray was too lazy to be helpful and did not mind leaving a parent and 3 young children stranded after midnight in the hotel parking lot when it would have taken very little to be of service to avoid this. He hung up on me after calling me a liar. He got us confused with another guest he’d spoken to. I encouraged him to listen to the original call so he could see it wasn’t us he had spoken to about the original reservation. Not at all what you want to hassle with after a long day of travel. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
Driving from LA to SF and the family loves staying here. Convenient, breakfast is great, parking is $10, and impeccably close to the mall
This is an older but well maintained property. It happens to be close to work for me, but it is also close to the airport and a BART station. Reasonbly priced for San Francisco bay area. Separate bedroom, living room and small kitchen.
Great hotel for exploring SF. Located right next to a BART station, grocery store, and shopping mall. Our suite had a comfortable bed and kitchen. And the complementary breakfast was pretty decent. Only downside was a nail sticking out of one of the sofas (almost ripped my shirt!)
Great place to stay if visitng the city! Great for larger families. Acceptable breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Just a word of caution. There is no elevator and the hotel is two stories.
Economical ... Good for large families/groups, as they have suites with two separate bedrooms, a living room area with a sleeper sofa and a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove top and microwave. No oven. Pots, pans, glasses, plates and utensils are all provided. Free full breakfast.
I stay regularly at the Staybridge and really enjoy the experience. The rooms are spacious, especially for San Francisco, I love having a full kitchen, and the location is fantastic: within a block or two (very walkable) is a full grocery store, a bunch of restaurants, Best Buy, BART, Target, and a full, nice, shopping mall.
Horrible guest service & rude management, ruined our 5 day Christmas vacation. No vegeterian breakfast option. We booked for 5 nights via Expedia, first day excuse from staff was that they didnt get delivery. Now they are saying they arent going to arrange it for rest of the vacation. They wont give manager number, and ask to contact Expedia.
A friend I visited had a very large suite with 3 beds and 2 bath. The furniture etc seemed to be in good condition, the cabinets had a toaster, salt pepper and a few other basics.Staybridge also has a little food shop (quite pricey) a pool, and basketball hoop, which is pretty good selection.For transportation, the Bart station is very close by, a 5 min walk.
Awesome stay! We were able to check in way early, free parking, breakfast, free laundry facilities and they even fed us cheeseburgers for dinner. Staff was very friendly and it was clean. I highly recommend this place over any other in the San Francisco area.
I stayed with staybridge suites during a recovery from surgery and couldnt have been happier with my experience. The staff was curtious, friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was greatly appreciated and the room served its purpose very well.
My favorite stay by far, down by the bay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed for about a month here and ommmggg i felt like it was my home !!! Didnt want to leave ! I got a kidney transplant and after getting discharged this was my recovery home ! Great motel the suites are really big and spacious. Breakfast is average, they offer free laundry which is a nice bonus, also it is conveniently located close to the airport.
Very nice suite with over 800 sf. 2 bedrooms, 2 washrooms, 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed, kitchen with stove top, microwave, cookware and dishware. All these is under $300. Clean and new. Very good breakfast. Good for family with kids. This will be my only choice in SF.
I love the place. The clubhouse/office was nice and the attendee was friendly. My room is spacious and well stocked with everything one needs to stay for more than a few days.
The location is great, very close to the airport and 20 minutes away from San Francisco Bay. In front of the hotel there is a mall with convenient stores and restaurants in case you need something. The breakfast is very good, with enough options
Loud area. Like turbines making you pause conversations, engines revving, trains honking, stomping, yelling, steps outside the window, and the occasional gunshot/firework(?) loud. Carpets were strangely wet in some parts of the rooms. Staff was nice enough. Layout is pretty chill.
One doesnt associate cozy with airport hotels, but this one is. In fact, I will keep choosing not only for its distance to the Airport; I will drive downtown and elsewhere from this enchanting place.The staff was superb, including the general manager.Thank you!
Great suites. Above average breakfast and sometimes offer simple dinner/beer, all complimentary. Only complaint is that the plane can be very loud from time to time.

An unassuming suites hotel. kind of depressing is your room overlooks the parking lot. theres an okay interior pool, and the abbreviated breakfast bar is slightly above average.its directly under the departure path of planes leaving west from SFO. just as noisy as youd imagine every 20m or so.
Super convenient. Mall and BART station nearby. Grocery store, several restaurants, and a nearby running trail. Great place for an extended stay. Free breakfast every morning and dinner/beer/wine Monday-Wednesday evenings.
Great clean hotel. Very nice staff. Amenities are good and so are the rooms. No king beds at this location. Pool and Jacuzzi are also out side, just an fyi.
The rooms are outdoor access. The hotel allows guest to play basketball outside until 10pm. The noise from the foot traffic and outdoor activities makes it hard to sleep. The sink was also clogged.

The facet fell off the shower wall and the answer to my problem from the front desk was.. use the shower down by the pool. Really. Thanks for nothing.. except you got my $160.00 and I have to celebrate Easter with my family without taking a shower. What a bargain.

Had the house keeping lady Leslie knock and walk in all at the same time and it was only 9:30 and check out time was not until 11 am and I had a late check out for 1pm the manager Sam told me I had to be out by 12:15pm and after stating he was aware of house keeper coming in the room was oh well I spoke with here only after when he found out I was a Platinum member did he offer 5000 points wow wont be back

That said, having a room that can accommodate 3 kids and 4 adults is really something special. It had 2 rooms and a kitchen, which was great. Only complaint is the extra charges (parking) and the pool hours being so limited.

2024-04-07 16:44:38Worst experience in a hotel we had for a while. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your heavy lounge to second floor and this is ridiculous for an airport hotel. They didnt have some amenities that is normal in other hotels like toothpaste (we asked for it). The room is also very smelly, smells of tobacco I guess. overall we didnt enjoy our stay.

Wonderful huge rooms with all of the amenities of home.Update.....upon checking out, Im sorry to say but what I thought was an amazing hotel is not one I would recommend to anyone! The hotel itself is exactly how I described beautiful and tranquil. But the staff there are horrific disrespectful un- helpful and just plain rude awful uncaring people. I really had not had any dealings with them until the end. And I am pretty sure that this is somewhat family run so there was no talking to anyone for help. I even had to call the police who were so helpful. They too could not understand how un professional the hotel staff was acting and were disgusted by there behavior.Please beware of the sonesta in San Bruno!! The staff is down right criminal! They will steal your belongings and lie about everything just to save face. Even though they were caught red handed!!

2023-11-16 17:03:47Bathtub faucet was detached from wall and leaked, shower hose leaked, shower head leaked, shower head sprayed in all random directions, shower enclosure leaked into bathroom floor. Couch was broken and very loud to sit on. My corporate booking app put me in an accessible room, it could be that non-accesible rooms are better cared for but mine was severely neglected. I was only here for 1 night and had no chance to talk to staff about issues.

2023-12-20 18:29:00Weve been here since September 2023. We have never stayed at a hotel where they offer such good services as Sonesta. More than 10 rooms are all Vietnamese who do not understand English fluently, but this this barrier does not prevent them from providing perfect support. They allocated the BBQ area and banquet room for us this holiday.It would have been hard to clean up after that, but Sonesta was happy to support us. Thats really great for those of us who are away from home for the holidays.Thanks so much, Sonesta!From Nhat Nguyen, #221!
