2024-03-24 04:20:18One of many Korean restaurants in the Bay Area we had to try on our list. This one had a good list of choices and their dishes were pretty big except the chicken wings which always seem to always take the longest to cook. The garlic wings were good but some pieces so tiny that they should not count towards the fifteen pieces. The seafood pancake was good flavor and good size. I really liked the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork and Premium LA Kalbi. The Steamed Egg had no flavor and it had too much soup in it which I thought was weird. We ordered sodas and their Lychee Cocktail for twenty bucks which was a carafe pitcher size. It was pretty good and strong; nothing fancy. We also ordered Bibimap which was pretty big.Choice this Korean restaurant for moms bday and was satisfied. The prices were on the expensive side. Not a place for a date as its loud here but good for groups and drinking. Service is ok. They forgot one of our items but at least, they didnt charge us; we did have a big group though. Haha they even told us politely that we had to go as they had awaiting customers. The place is small, and can get crowded fast so I recommend to come early but lots of parking available.

2024-04-30 16:28:51They have great food and quick service. We always get the chicken wings which are really good! This place is good for groups too, we have never had issues finding tables. And its a plus that its open late too.

2023-04-04 21:37:35The food was delicious but hard to choose. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I asked the server for advice, but he wasnt helpful at all. Definitely would go back for the fried rice, and the soup was pretty good, but too much for two people. When it was time to get our bill, the server was very short with us and practically tossed things onto the table. I understand they were busy, but it wasnt our fault.

2023-05-24 21:28:16This place is AMAZING! We had them cater our company lunch and the food was so good. We had 3 different kinds of meat, vegetarian, and vegan bowl options! It was fresh and had lots of flavor! I highly recommend them.

2024-01-21 02:56:40The food and service was spectacular! The lighting could be better during the night but overall, i had a great experience.Started with the bulgogi roll and cheese corn. Both were delicious and fulfilling. Then got the Soo Ja burger with regular fries and it came with their signature sauce that you can basically dip with everything! (Always ask for extra)Lastly, I got the half and half fried chicken with the finger licking sauces, garlic and the sweet and spicy.I high recommend all of these dishes. This is also enough food for about 4 people to share!

2022-10-01 05:59:23Soo Ja offers terrific Korean fusion food and is open quite late which is nice and not too common in the bay. I got the kimchi pancake and fries while my friend got the corn cheese. The kimchi pancake, which is fully vegetarian, was quite filling on its own and can definitely be shared - stuffed with veggies, cooked quite well to have a nice crispy yet firm texture, and presented nicely too. The corn cheese is an interesting concept and not something Ive seen before. Fries were as expected, pretty decent. Theyve got quite a bit of seating inside as well and service was top notch. Ill definitely be visiting in the future for late night eats!

2022-09-26 10:30:44Korean fusion place that is open from dinner to late night making it a great late hangout or dinner place.Fried chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: the garlic fried chicken is as good as any other Korean fried chicken place. Sweet chili was also good but not my favorite flavor of fried chicken.Kimbap ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: got the bulgogi and pork katsu flavors. I preferred the katsu personally.Rice cake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Im usually not the biggest fan of tteokbokki but this place definitely makes a good one! Especially with cheese on top. It also comes with fish cake and kimchi inside.

2023-05-01 05:29:00Ordered their fried chicken to-go. We had the original and garlic flavor. The chicken itself was well done. The chicken tasted fresh and juicy. The batter was well coated, didnt feel too thick. The garlic flavor was our favorite. The season was just right. The original on the other side was a little too normal, but still taste good if you prefer to not have any sauce. We would come back here for the spicy one next time!Didnt dine in, so couldnt comment on the atmosphere, but walking into the restaurant, it feels like a casual setting.
